The service provided was excellent. The food was nice. Mutton Biriyani is a must try here. Completed the Dinner with Paneer Soda.

I have been there to the restaurant for lunch today. We had non veg meals and biriyani. Non veg meals was good but the biryani taste was not up to the expectation. Ambience and service was good. The hotel was also nicely maintained. Overall it's a good experience and people can give it a try when you are in and around Velachery area.
Had been to Junior Kuppana after 4 long years. The last time when i went it was near on the road from Perungudi to Velachery.
Looks like it has got a major makeover. It is multi storey right now with bike and car parking in the ground floor.
The interior looks neat, bright and fresh. Had ordered Chicken biriyani, mutton biriyani, Mutton soup, Mutton chukka, Nethili fry and Payasam. The biriyanis were good and were enough for one person who eats a lot. However, i felt the taste could have been better. The mutton leg soup was great. Nethili fry was very soft and crispy. The mutton chukka was made with so much fried onions so it tasted very nice. The payasam was the disappointment. Instead of giving us full bowl, the waiter gave us quarter bowl claiming that thats much only is left. We didnt have it and he didnt charge it.
Other than that the experience was good.
Visited with Family, My family loved the food, As people know about Junior Kuppanna, taste is unique and awesome. She tried Mutton Chukka, Chicken leg pc, Mutton Biryani and Parotta. Parotta is soooooo good, Biryani and Parotta is must try.Flavour of the Biryani was on her fingers for entire day.

The place is well maintained and well patronized. The food took some time to be delivered, as the place was crowded. The food was tasty and piping hot. Egg kothu parotta was awesome. The small Pepsi bottles they serve are cute and go well with the food! Good place for a family to eat together.

Best non veg cuisine to experience the south side food. The ambience is good, the hotel is clean and tidy. There is no issue for parking.
There is no much time time to wait for the dishes. All mutton and chicken dishes are good. Especially mutton/chicken Kari dosa is a must try food. I am planning to visit one more time and keep repeating provided if the taste and hospitality is same I experienced this time.
Taste can be slightly improved, Quantity should surely be increased. Too little quantity for the charged price. Ambience was great 👍🏻
Editing this review just because of the worst service provided last week, we had to wait for 40mins till nothing arrived in our table. I have a kid who is just 1.5 yrs old and they didn't even consider that, she also was crying till the food arrived, dosa was a disaster.
Nothing was worth after that long wait, egg dosa was half cooked, Biryani was not hot though. Never had this kind of experience in Junior Kuppana.
Whenever we go, we ask for something, they say that is not available, So every time we have to choose from the list they provide, it's like you can't eat what you want, you can only eat what is there. This is the major drawback of this outlet.

We had visited Junior Kuppanna Velachery today. It was an awesome experience. The food quality and the taste was really good.
