Great service. Wide selection of good quality, delicious food. Veggie. Friendly staff. Excellent value & a lot less pricey than far inferior establishments.
decent place to taste veg dishes.. cost is bit high .. service was good and on time. taste was awesome and served neatly.
Good food Good ambience
The food is delicious and tasty
Can dine out with family and friends
I visited this particular branch few days back,we tried brocolli 🥦 soup 🍵,it was one off the best soups i had among all masaledaar groups and outlets and one off the best among many overall places and we tried chilli paneer 🧀 it was great and tasty with vegetables in it and few days later in Nungambakkam we tried the cheese masala khichiya 🍘 it was crispy with generous amount of vegetables and cheese, then we tried paneer lolipop 🧀 it was damn tasty, great and out of the world which was so freaking good,it had four big chunks of pieces which was great and we tried char grilled brocolli 🥦 🥬 it was just too great with grilled capsicum and other vegetables it was too great we tried butter milk that is chaas it was refreshing and overall a well maintained ambiance almost like a fine dining restaurant but it was awesome.
This is one of our new preferred restaurants to go to though it's a little far away from our home. Love the service and the food is tasty. My family loves this place too and they have a lot of Jain options too which is an amazing win for us. Truly one of the best vegetarian restaurants in the city. And Pataka Paneer has become a standard order other than Broccoli Soup and Pan Ice cream.
We were looking for good quality veg restaurant. So we tried this restaurant. We ordered panner tikka sizzler , executive thali, smoked panner tikka and sizzling brownie. To be noted all were good. We enjoyed every food
Good restaurant for pure vegetarian people with wide choice of indian food. Service is great. Loved the cheese garlic naan and kulfi falooda
A vegetarian restaurant with Jain food options is god send for people on a stringent no onion, no garlic diet during the navrathri period. However, it's still a good option to consider for those with less restrictive diet wanting to try good vegetarian food with a fatigue for the usual option in velacherry that is Pind. We tried this place based on existing reviews and ratings and found it lived up to the supposed standards.
The cream of broccoli soup was well prepared and tasted delightfully even for me, a non-fan of soups. We were curious about the smoky paneer platter and enquired what was "live" about it as mentioned in the menu. The courteous staff explained that it would be brought in hot piping state almost similar to how sizzling hot Brownie gets served. While not exactly the same, we were introduced to 9 big chunks of well prepared paneer delicacy in the said piping hot jar which we enjoyed.
For the main course we took the adventurous route of ordering pasta from the north Indian restaurant instead of opting for the safer route that is Indian breads with dal/paneer based gravy side dishes. The Dabhe da pasta had a familiar Indian taste was a uniquely distinguished unconventional pasta and the gambit paid off. The quantity was just about comfortable for a party of four and we decided to try out the Thai curry and herbal rice in the yellow variant. While this was unchartered waters for me, a few members of my party were familiar with the cuisine. They confirmed my suspicion that the gravy had a tad bit masala than what would be preferred but the dish still wasn't a deal breaker.
We decided to course correct to more conventional methods of finishing the dinner with a bottle of chaas. It pacified the effects of the masala heavy gravy and lasted couple of rounds for each of the four members. Well prepared buttermilk with chopped coriander leaves and the exact tinge of chaat masala is pure bliss.
Shout out to the polite diligent and helpful staff members for making our day.

Please please do not ever change this restaurant. It is a national treasure. God, I hope I didn't Jinx it. Third time here in as many days, I am clearly addicted to their Thali. By far, one of the better North Indian vegetarian places in Chennai.
Its was my next option to Pind , but turned out to be a better option than pind for their service and the JAIN food option .
Definitely a must visit place for veg lovers. Their honey tosted French fries is must try over there .
Service was really good ! Happy faces from them people makes u more satisfied.
Will be visiting frequently from now ❤
aaradhya' s first birthday celebration,
Everything was perfect Amazing food fastest service.
Best jain food available in resturant.spl masala khichaya was too good
Looking for a pure veg authentic North Indian restaurant? This is the pick!
Starting with appetizers, paneer platter was on point and just melted in the mouth. Their parathas and naan were so soft and scrumptious!
Moving on to the mains, malai kofta and chef Jaggi ki pasand were full of flavour and lip smacking.
Do not miss out on these dishes!!
Polite and friendly staff.
Soup was average . Starter (achari paneer tikka) quantity was good and tasted good. gravy was above average. Rice quantity was less but tasted good.
Mango Lassi and chaaz were good.
Price was reasonable. But the place was crowded and congested mayb coz of weekend. Overall, a good place for North Indian.
Awesome veg food and hmmmm delicious. Would definitely recommend this place for veg food lovers. My entire family loved it. Keep it up guys. Loved it
Very good Ambience, Tasty food, quick serving
We had Cream of Broccoli soup, which I would rate 4/5, has a nicely chopped Broccoli mashed and well cooked.
Secondly Panneer tikka Haryali - a properly marinated Panneer in mint paste or chutney..it's yummy!!
Masala churi(Papad) - little spicy than expected but good
Duo..Roti and Dal Tadka - an authentic Dal Tadka made our dinner sumptuous!
Can go again!!
All Items ordered were delicious. Sweet corn Veg Soup, Firangi Mushroom, Paneer Amritsari, Garlic Naan and ended up with gulab Jamun. Service was fast
We wanted to try out a new restaurant and this time it was firangi tadka. Looking at the reviews we were confident of making choice to dine here. Situated amidst busy area of velachery the place would seat 30-40 people. But gets filled up soon .
We were very much satisfied with the quality of food, service and ambience and what did we decide?
It became a regular dining place.
The portions for the main course and soup are sufficient.
Good North Indian foods..
Their north Indian thali @Rs.99 was value for money😋
Every item in the thali tasted👌🏼
Tried fiery paneer pasta quantity was good, presentation was nice n taste was okayish..😊
Lassi yummm👍🏼
Strawberry cooler nice blend of strawberry, mint n lime great🤩🤩
Everytime i have been to this place, i had the best experience in terms of quality, taste and service. Today i am sitting and having my lunch here and cant hold back to write this review. Amzing taste yet again.

We just had dinner with mushrooms and baby corn as starters. Simla mirch kofta and naan followed for main course. The food was definitely above par in terms of both quality and quantity. This was backed by good ambience, and courteous staff. A definite recommend from my side.
Have been planning to visit this Veg only restaurant for a long time and Finally visited them Last Sunday and I was impressed with the food and it is pocket friendly as well. To start with cream of broccoli soup was ok and nothing extraordinary. Sezhwan cheese paneer was soft and a bit hot on your mouth, but we loved it and had around 10 pieces. Firangi Mushroom was the next one and was excellent and ordered a cheese panner pizza and for some reason the crust of the pizza was hard and we did not expect it, but that was compensated well with the amount of toppings. Finally to wash it down ordered Mango Lassi and that was delivered in a bottle and was good. I'm sure all veggie lovers will find a lot of varieties to try out in this restaurant.
Recently had been to this restaurant . We were welcomed politely by the reception and showed our way to the seats. Very nice and cool atmosphere. Service and hospitality is the best. Food quality is above all. Enjoyed all the items. Finished with Pan icecream which is my favorite. We saw the children enjoying the decorative part of the inner entrance where there is a beautiful water falls and an attractive wall garden. This garden is so attractive some people took selfies. Prices are on par with other restaurants and the meal of Rs.99 is awesome. Nowhere else we can get at this cheap and best food. Weekends are fully crowded. Better to book in advance to confirm the seat. No problem for the car as they have a valet parking arrangement. As the restaurant is on the main road and very close to the Vijayanagar bus terminus and the junction anybody who pass over can pull over and have a good food aramsay....Finally it is a very good restaurant for not only North but South Indians also...so many varieties available. Their paneer items are the best...so soft. Hats off to the owners of the restaurant who are at the counter and look after each and everything for the customers taste, requirements and satisfaction..

Definitely a good place to be.
If you are near Velachery, go and check it out.
The restaurant @firangitadka is beautifully lit and bright. The service is fast.
Must try their Pattaka Paneer and Firangi Mushroom, that are definitely the delicious starters. Give it a fly, having Gajar ka halwa with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
A wonderful restaurant to get our for a lunch or dinner with family, the polite staffs, the tasty food, the great ambience that cherishes you. A vegetarian restaurant with great tastes and deliciousness.
One of the best North India restaurants at velachery. Pind seems to have lost its glory. So it's a good opportunity for FT to cash on this. Keep serving the same quality and you will soon be the best. I celebrated my daughters bday here with 130 guests and they literally killed it with the service and the taste. Special mention to Mr Hakim( don't remember other names). They are a good bunch of staff I'd say. Ambience is also very good.
🥗Veggiefriendly
To start with the location and parking spaces provided, prior reservations are better. Since we went on a weekday we did not have any issues regarding parking.
Ambience - 3.5/5
The starters and main courses has a good touch of north indian style.
Food Quantity - 4/5
Every food item has been priced well which is much satisfiable along with the quality of it.
Pricing - 3.5/5
Another punjabi style dishes serving pure veg restaurant. I’ve never disappointed with my couple of visits here. And tastes are up to the level and it’s worth of each penny. It’ll be better to have a little more quantity for the same prices. Servicing wise they are enough pro-staff. Will get good food suggestions too by these staff.
Over all it’s good and tasty.
Great food and perfect setting for dining out with family and friends. Staffing demeanours are worth to mention. More than expected for taste palates. Not a place for one time visit - need many more 😊.Keep it up guys. All the best...!!!
Cheese PizzaThe reason why Pizzas are adored and a staple food among the Indian masses is because of two reasons. 1) A Western dish which you can eat with your hand 2) Has the shape and consistency akin to a roti. With that said this chatpata cheese pizza is a pretty impressive one from a restaurant purely specialized in indian food by taking a rather very thin base and a beautiful crust which is cooked in a tandoor oven before being poured into molten cheese and garnished with chatpata and various herbs and spices. The end result is a taste that is what you would get in any high end restaurant at half the price. Though in terms of size it seemed small. The portions alone which was so gooey and long with cheese satisfied the two of us. Very optimistic to see what other reinventions of the west these home grown indian restaurants will bore.
Cheese Mushrooms These lovely mushrooms filled with cheese looks like a couple of ballsacks. Though one thing I liked about this is that these mushrooms were coated and deep fried in mashed kurkure to give a nice munch feel to it. Best part is how these mushrooms looks like cups to hold the molten cheese and just seeps your mouth with such amazing aromatic essence.
Paneer Platter Pure veg food is not my cup of tea but the paneer platter here with some amazing zest, acidity, seasoning, spiciness and a lovely zing to each and every cube of these gorgeous paneer cubes that melts when you did your fork in it. Such is the consistency and gooeyness in each of them. This is an ode to the flavours in North India when it comes to the types of paneer and a brilliant one to start your dinner.
Oreo and Nutella Shake The Oreo and Nutella super shake is a mouth melting blend of the the hazelnut rich Nutella with crushed Oreos put on a blender to give a shake that is just right in sweetness and residues of the chocolate in and around the shake. The KitKat on top is an added one which can be dipped into the shake to get a beautiful wafer like flavour into the shake.
KitKat Nutella Shake Aptly called the KitKat sundae. Though it is rather basic in taste which is basically an icecream scoop with 4 bars of KitKat stuffed inside the ice cream with some store bought wafer on top of a blended chocolate shake with chocolate chips and cherry on top. In terms of taste it didn't have much to offer but worth the money for the quantity and variety in the chocolate confectionaries it was stuffed with for a nice sugar rush
This place is amazing, I have gone here for dinner back to back twice on the same week, they never fail to disappoint. The panner is soft, the handi biriyani was amazingly cooked, everything tasted really nice and the price was also affordable. One of the Best pure vegetarian restaurants. The food was so nice that both the times I went I hogged the food and couldn't really take a single picture. 🙈 so I would really recommend this restaurant. ❤️
Wonderful place. Delicious food. Amazing ambience. Nominal crowd. Worth for price. Great for groups. Selfie spots. Interesting menu. Variety of dishes for vegetarians.

Very good atmosphere and taste of food was really great especially Jain foods. For almost of the items, they offer Jain as an option. Sizzlers are really tasty..
A great place for a vegetarian friendly dine out.
If you need a good place with a good ambience and a good service , this is the place you need to visit. Paneer dishes are a must try.
Nice place for vegetarian north indian food lovers. We ordered a variety of soups, starters and main course and every tasted great. Sarso ka saag was really good. What made it better was the music which includes 90s english and hindi bollywood songs (Sonu nigam and Enrique specials). The staff too was really polite and friendly. They gave us finger bowl after our meal which really made my day. Worth a visit again.
⚠️ Advance booking recommended
🚕 Parking difficult, take a cab
We had tried getting seats here during the new year but couldn't. Last week I booked table using Zomato and have a pleasant experience. The conciérge remembered my name and guided me to the table.
👉 Table Booking via Zomato is recommended, the place gets full during weekends.
👉 Ambience: Nice and cosy. The limited area is utilised to the full by arranging tables well. We requested for a corner table and were obliged in spite of it being a 6 seater. The sofa seats are comfortable. Air conditioning was maintained at a pleasant temperature especially since it's winter. Tasteful yet trendy music was playing. The place is very clean.
👉 Service: Excellent. All the servers had a warm smile and we were given really good service with respect to orders, table clearing etc.
👉 Food: Brilliant. The tomato and basil soup was amazing. And this is the only place in Chennai where I had authentic 'phulkas' that don't taste like chapatis! The okra curry was delicious too, and don't miss their Paan ice cream which was the highlight of the night!
Would recommend for a nice date night as well a night out with family.
Note to the owner: You have got the welcome drink right - Jaljira is the only acceptable drink to appetize the palate, but try not to sweeten it so much. The sugar will actually diminish hunger of customers and make them order less. Try sugarless Jaljira and maybe place sugar sachets on the tables. Thank you.
Aweome plce for food.. All d dishes v ordered wre Delicious. excellent ambience and a must visit place for food lovers..
A ready to go place if u wanna hve something healthy and yummy food ✌🏻👌🏻
Easily the best place to have veg food in Velachery. Good ambience and well behaved staff. Keep it up. Will visit the place again with my friends.

Ambiance is amazing .I was politely welcomed and guided to my table .Menu includes huge variety of vegetarian preparation and choice of thali with two different types.Thali was nice ,well presented .Sufficient amount of food for one person.Enjoyed the meal.Forgot to mention,it is in very reasonable price . Enjoyed the lunch a lot.Very friendly and effecient staff.
Had a wonderful time in Firangi ..
Service was very decent and polite.
Nice ambience.
All dishes are very tasty .
Overall it’s very good veg restaurant in Velachery .
Thanks guys !!!
Have been wanting to try this place for a long time and finally had a chance to order my lunch from this place yesterday. The thali was really yummy and all the dishes were cooked perfectly. Their packing was really nice and I would definitely recommend this place for online orders!
Excellent lunch thaali for 199 and penne pasta salad for 150. Naan and rotis were too dry though. Nice ambience but loud music. Loved the pulav.
Ambiance: very decent one and neat one, u will like to sit comfortably and eat
Food: nice north indian taste and yes price may be 10% costly but it's okay
Parking: it can be a problem if it's crowded
Just saw the ad and wanted to try out for lunch . Simple interiors ,clean and cozy . Very much pocket friendly. Just 99 rs for a Thali of 2 Tandoori rotis, Jeera rice, raitha, dhal, paneer gravy and a mixed veg subzi. And a nice thick rice papas too. Quite sumptuous. Very tasty too. Apt for surprise treats and apartments friends lunch getaway. I liked it. They have some oriental and continental menu too. Soon gonna try.😊😊
Firangi tadka recently opened in velachery and I visited after good reviews of the numbgambakkam branch. We visited on a weekday hence it wasn't too crowded. The ambience is really pleasant and soothing. We tried the hot and sour soup and tomato soup and loved it. It was just sensational. For starters I had the schezwan paneer tikka and it was delicious. Must try. For main course we had the aloo paratha and gobi paratha along with bhindi masala and mirch masala kofta. I loved to heavens the bhindi. And the kofta wasn't as spicy as I expected. Also we had the schezwan fried rice and boondi raita. Overall the quality of food was really brilliant and the price was decent. Its a good restaurant and would visit once again in the future.
Right from start to finish, a memorable dining experience.
Walked in for dinner on a Sunday night after booking a table on Zomato. Since they had packed crowds, our table was not clean when we were seated there. However, upon pointing it out, they obliged to clean it, and waited upon courteously the entire time.
The tomato-basil and broccoli-cream soups deserve a try, as does the kadai mushroom, which has an addicting smokey flavor to it. The five-colored fried rice is a must-have; I found it so good by itself that I didn't need a side dish to finish it.
Will definitely return again and again.
Awesome taste the food is extremely tasty loved their ambience and courtesy the staff are friendly jain food is purely jain no dry powder of garlic or onion for jain food lovers is a must visit I would recommend it for all
Food - Great
Ambience - Excellent
What more does one want? A great place for vegetarians and an even better is the fact that it pleases both Vegetarians and the Non Vegetarians equally with only Vegetarian food. I am a non vegetarian but i enjoyed the food there. We went there for a reunion and the food was really great. It was a Saturday and the special of the day was Cheesy barbequed pineapple which was awesome. Polite and good service. A lot of options on the menu. Overall a great experience.
The Lunch thali served here is very filling and tasty. A must try restaurant for all the vegetarians out there. Good ambience and very cosy environment.
4 stars is only for their pattaka panner .. they need to improve on their biryani . Subzi biryani was a joke .. cream of broccoli soup was watery and can be avoided easily .. you need to have thick consistency on creamy soups..
This has been on my bookmarks for a longtime . Finally got to go there and I had a very good time .
Ambience : Perfect ! They have a water fall and a artificial garden wall at the entrance . The interior is really good with gold and black painting on the walls .
Menu: Its a big chart with full of varieties . They have mentioned that every dish not Indian have been twisted to suit the Indian palate . It has North Indian , Chinese and Italian . And my favourite part was a whole column for paneer ♥️.
Service : The service was quick and efficient . The waiter cleared all our doubts regarding the dishes . The service of food was good too.
Food : It was my suggestion to go here and it wasn’t a disappointment. My friends loved the food too. We started with the cream of broccoli soup which was creamy and hot .
The broccoli was grinded and the taste was really good .
Then we had honey chilli potato . It was so good I couldn’t stop having more . Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with the sweet and spicy taste . The perfect blend indeed .
The hot and spicy paneer was good too . Very hot to eat and I thought it had colour in it .
Then came our Chinese chopsuey. It was very crispy and the sauce for it was very good . It wasn’t too heavy to eat nor too oily .
Then the Shyam savera kofta , i don’t know what it was made off . But the taste was very good .
The naan and makki roti was a bit of a disappointment as it was hard .
Finally the lime soda to complete the meal . The soda bottle was the highlight .
Price : I would say it’s costly but worth it .
Definitely a good place to be. If you are near Velachery go and check it out !!
Amazing!!!! The food quality was superb.. Highly worth for the money! The Price of the Thali is given at impeccable price.. Service was outstanding and every time it was served very hot and the presentation was nice.. I would love to come every time here.. no regrets!!
Masaledaar Firangi Tadka is really a good North Indian Restaurant in Velachery. We had a warm welcome with drinks. The menu had widespread of items. We ordered Tomato basil soup, For starters - Corn Cheese Balls & Chilli Mushroom. And Main course - Mix subz and Paneer Angara with Cheese Garlic Naan. All of them were good but the Soup was the best. Music is great. The ambience seems lil bit compact. It gets too noisy with more crowd coming in, Otherwise everything is just perfect. Coming here again someday!
We ordered Tomato Basil Soup, which was creamy thick and spicy. The taste was good and the flavour of basil was right too. The Desi green salad was nothing but lot of onion, a few slices of cucumber, tomato and a piece of lime. It could have been more of veggies and less onion! We also ordered chatapata Paneer pizza which was more than a medium pizza, and quiet filling for one person.
The packing was decent, neat and clean.
Definitely trying the rest of the items in the menu!
Loved the food and service. Food was really yummy... We have tried paneer platter and corn kabab in starter. Kadai paneer, pataka paneer and Dal makhani with tandoori butter roti and Butter garlic nan every thing was yummy. Paneer is fresh snd soft.
Happy with food and service.
This place is an absolute blessing for those who live or work in the velachery/tharamani area. The restaurant is very beautifully lit and bright. Infact this place made me realise that most restaurants in this area are dark/dim. Was a welcome change :) Their menu is extensive and everything we ordered tasted good. The service is fast. I hope they keep up the quality as more people discover the place.
Best North Indian food. Every dish we had was nice. Really good ambience, kind and quick service. I really loved the Schezwan cheesy paneer tikka and mushroom Kurkure. These were the highlights of the day. Hoping to visit the place again soon!! 😘
Awesome place for everyone to visit.. It's a must visit restaurant.. We had a surprise birthday plan and the management organised it soo well it made our day 🤗 Staff and service is ultimate.. Food quality is superb.. 👌 Pricing is completely reasonable for 5 of us it coated around 3K along with birthday decoration.. Keep up the good work team and thanks a tonn for giving ever green memory 😊

On a fine Sunday me along with my friends set course to try out some of their signature dishes and we were ready to enjoy the North Indian style vegetarian foods.
We ordered for dishes like Achari Paneer Tikka, Mushroom & Corn Kebab, Stuffed Garlic Naan, Kulcha, Fulka, Dhaba Style Mushroom and Punjabi Special Pulao.
* Presentation:
Aroma and the dish presentation were very refreshing and the dishes looked absolutely mouth watering. The dishes kind of sets us to good mood. The dishes were presented in such a way that it showcased us how skilled the chef was and the efforts Chef and his team has put in to make the dishes stand out.
* Taste:
When comes to taste I loved all the dishes.
1. Achari Paneer Tikka, the way the Paneer was handled is very gud, it was very soft inside and crispy outside. Not so spicy and it was very well prepared.
2. Mushroom & Corn Kebab, the Corn and Mushroom were stuffed very well and the Kebab were made out with right amount of flavours, not very overpowering or very less.
3. Breads (Stuffed Garlic Naan, Kulcha & Fulka), the breads were so soft and prepared with so much of precision.
4. Dhaba Style Mushroom, the gravy was very tasty & spicy and the mushroom was cooked very well.
5. Punjabi Special Pulao, the rice taste was very normal, for an amount of 200 rupees the quantity seems to be very less.
* Texture
The cooking process was good and the way the dishes were treated is very appreciable. All the dishes looked and tasted delicious.
Staffs were polite and the restaurant needs improvement in customer service and crowd handling especially on weekends.
Over all I am so happy that I get to eat the above dishes and I would recommend all to try it out.
This new place is the best place for all u veg friends in velachery😋😊 we tried their thali and butter naan and their stuffed parathas everything was perfect....they have two varieties in thali and cheaper one was better since the only difference was it doesn't have jamun and salad...😋😍
And I will definitely visit again to try their other dishes😊
The service was also best

The ambience is lovely ...a quite and compact place to be munching on some lovely stuff.
They were very courteous and the food tasted great .
This place has a great North Indian delight for your taste buds, truly good service and there are varities of vegetarian dishes from the north indian kitchen. esp: Szechwan Paneer and Panner Khurchan are awesome. Keep up the taste and hospitality team 😎😎
I've been told about this place by friends and so I decided to take my parents there for lunch on a Wednesday. Ordered their Thali and was surprised to see the variety for just ₹99.
The food was really very good. Not too oily or greasy. Great taste.
Ambience was nice n calm. The staff was very polite. Service was quick. Love the place. ❤️
Yesterday, my wife and I had our lunch here. Being a week day, it was not crowded, so we got more than our share of hospitality and we loved it.
The ambience is very pleasant. Seating arrangements, the vintage music played and the crockery & cutlery were very nice.
We opted for the traditional food that was served courteously, piping hot and quickly. We were floored ! Our taste buds were transported back to Amritsar where we had stayed for some time, in the 90's. That is the only way we can sum up the experience.
Thank you MFT Team ! We will visit you again, to try the fusion foods. . .
The place is very good than Nungambakkam. Staff are so polite and very cordial. Excellent customer service. They treat customer as God. Items are delicious esp pataakka PANNEER and mojito- paisa vasool. Keep the good job going guys.
