Finally after multiple attempt visited the restaurant! In a single word it's highly 'underrated'! This restaurant is a must visit place in Phoenix. This place is hidden in Luxe Cinema hall, in 1st floor. But you don't need to buy movie ticket to visit it.
The restaurant interior is awesome. Sofas are too soft, the dark violet color combination feels so royal. Overall a royal feeling. Now coming to the food, I have ordered Bunny Chow and another dish! But Bunny Chow was so tasty that I forgot the name of another dish! You must try there Bunny Chow, whenever you're visiting the Phoenix Mall next time. Only thing is the place is very much under staffed, only 2 person is there! The delivery is also very late.. But the Bunny Chow worth the waiting
This place is not know for many but its a very good place after watching the movie to grab some food. Cost is so much affordable .the food here is also good. Try out!!
It's my most favourite place in phoenix marketcity. I am a frequent visitor here. I am deeply in love with the ambience of the place, it's best place to relax and eat after a tiring shopping day in the mall.
I've tried many food varieties here and almost none has been disappointing. My favourite is the spaghetti pasta in white sauce, they make it perfectly saucy and well cooked. The mushroom and golden corn pizza is also yum. The Paneer Makhani bunny chow is my other favourite. The cottage cheese wraps and sandwiches are also tasty. It's a must visit cafe. The service is good and the staff is very friendly.
Hidden inside Luxe (Jazz) Cinemas, this is a nice place for a cup of coffee and snacks. Tried their Pizza, French Fries and Coffee... was all good... a nice post movie hangout with friends / family..
This is one of the hidden gem situated inside the luxe cinemas. The place is calm and private, perfect place for your loved ones. We ordered burger with fries. The burger is so full with fillings with a king size bun. You can go here if you have a longer wait time for the movie . Entry is behind the piano at Luxe.

Hidden in first floor of Luxe in Phoenix Marketcity Is this cafe. It has the same calm , laid back and royal ambiance. I had been wanting to try the bunny chow for the longest time now for the great reviews I’d heard about it.
We ordered for a cream of tomato soup which was average and lacked the cream but the garlic bread served along was delicious. So we ordered for a cheese garlic bread which wasn’t on the menu , yet sooo simple and delicious.
Kadai paneer bunny chow and vegetable pizza for mains. The bunny was just average nothing great about it. It was a huge hallow bum filled with a paneer and veggies curry. I’d have been happier if it had black bean and few other ingredients. Can be a one time try dish maybe? One would be sufficient for two people. The pizza was decent, could’ve more seasonings.
Also ordered for a Pina colada which was a mere let down. The coconut cream wasn’t fresh and the combination wasn’t pleasing.
Chocolava cake for dessert , no complaint there.
Decent food with good ambiance. I’d visit them again for the calm ambiance and garlic bread for sure :p service was very slow. Costed us about 2k for three of us.
I read all the reviews. And speculative to go, but then we dared. Well to our surprise, the ambience was as good as everyone mentioned. But the food was not up to the mark. We ordered Sam's chicken was a disappointment, but the main course(Bunny chow) was a total hit and very tummy filling.

we are here this place on Last saturday at lunch time. To avoid the crowd at food court we came here........literally saying this place is desserted........1 man to handle the customer.....including,billing,serving etc......fun right......they took lots of time to make the burger and a sandwitch we ordered.

A restaurant attached to a cinema chain was a first for me. Nice seating and decent food. We went inside by looking at their buffet ad. But buffet looked not that great so settled in for their A la carte menu. We ordered cream of chicken and cream of carrot soups. Both were tasty but can't say they tasted wow. Chicken one was better than carrot one though.
We also had fish and chips and kadai vegetables wrap. Fish and chips was an average fare , I mean usual but good. But it was Kadai Vegetables wrap which was excellent. Its taste was really good and wrap was presented very well. Fries that went along with both dishes were excellent too.

Very rarely do you expect a cafe associated with a multiplex to be good but cafe de luxe is great! They are quick with the service and the food tastes good. Perfect companion for a movie!

And, of course the Pasta (both with red sauce and the creams sauce) and the burger (not very often).
It’s located a level above the luxe cinema floor, so chances are you would miss it if you are not a regular.

Been here to this place only for desserts. Actually we went to this after seeing advertisements during the movies. Trust me here pictures don't lie. The pics they show in ads is exactly what they serve you. The desserts here are simply awesome. If you are chocolate lover don't forget to try hot chocolate. The presentation of the food is very good.

This is such underrated place. It's got an amazing value for money. We got a pizza (10") and a good bowl of pasta which blew our minds. The chicken cooked here is to the perfection. Try the Mandarin pizza and frankly any pasta. Though there dessert menu could be improved being a cafe it lacked exquisite collection of desserts.

Coming to food, my long craving for Bunny Chow ended here. It is a bun stuffed with our choice of curry. Tasted it for the first time, well, I must say it did not disappoint me. We also tried their pizza, which was okay. Since the portions were quite huge for an evening quick snack, we decided to take away the remaining food which after requesting the waiter, was beautifully packed and brought to us.
Best place if you wish to kill time pre or post movie. Ambience is what one would love here. Service was good and the staffs were professional.

A random decision to try out the food at this pretty little cafe tucked into a niche above the Luxe theatre, turned out to be a delicious surprise. We ordered Berry Burst and Calamari rings, both of which were great in taste as well as quantity. Service was quick and staff was courteous. Would definitely go there again!

All of those who would have been to movies at Phoenix Mall would know what a grand ambiance Luxé has got. Truly Royal with huge chandeliers and very well maintained overall place. And now, imagine to have your food overlooking this grand setup. Yes, this place is on the first floor near the Piano opposite the ticket counter. I'm not sure how many of them actually know that there's a Café that's located above as they don't seem to advertise and market it well. If they do market this place a little better, I'm sure this place is gonna be among the happening places in Phoenix Mall.
Our orders
Cream of chicken soup: It isn't the best that I tasted but was decent. I'd prefer a cream of chicken to be a little more creamy and thick. This is more watery.
Mango sparkle: As the name suggests, it's a mango based drink with a little soda. Tasted very good.
Virgin Miami Vice: A berries and milk based drink. This was delicious. And I loved the presentation.
Babycorn Tempura: This is nothing but our bajjies with a different name. Served with a garlic based sauce, this tasted good.
Prawns: Very good prawns and tasted yummy.
Panneer curried pizza: A 🍕 filled with loads of Panneer, bell peppers and lots of cheese. Very tasty and filling.
Desserts we're a bit of a let down as all the 3 desserts are chocolate based and if you aren't a chocolate lover, you've nothing to choose.
Service is extremely courteous but need a bit of fine-tuning and training. Young staff but needs more training.

The FOOD - 4/5, there are no varieties in burger..either it's veg. or non-veg, but let me assure you they will fulfill your hunger as soon as they come to your table, they are large in size (1 for 2).
The veg burger was more flavourful than the nonveg one but they both were tasty and juicy.
Second thing we ordered was fried chicken wrap which was also tasty, but a little expensive on the plate.
Beverages are average and potato bubbles are not worth trying.
Ambiance : It's 5/5, according to the price on the menu the decor of the place is awesome and luxurious.
Service : 5/5, Waiters are humble, but it will surely take time for your order to be prepared since most of the things are prepared freshly.

Went for late lunch after a movie.. nice place hidden just above the theatres.. it was really empty when we went .. tried golden fried prawns for starters .. it was way too oily but the prawns were good.. and for main course grilled chicken which was really really good.. :)and for dessert we had mousse with crackers (dont remember the exact name) which was a spoiler for us because it was too sweet , two people couldn't finish even half of that dessert .
Wish it was a closed place as the music was so loud from the theatre below that we couldn't hear what the waiter was talking to us..
one suggestion would be that the table for the sofa could be higher as we had to bend for every bite.. which was little uncomfortable..
pricing is good.. not costly like other hangouts in phoenix mall.. 800 for 2 .. :)

This restaurant is a hidden gem hiding in plain sight. I have visited LUXE countless times and yet my eyes couldn't catch the sign. The entrance to the place is through a lift, located near the parking tickets validation counter of LUXE cinemas, Pheonix market city. The elevator takes us 1 floor above the validation centre and thats where this elegant and classy restaurant is located.
The ambiance was mind-blowing and gives us the luxurious feel of dining in a elite restaurant, which in fact is the truth. Dim lights with lantern, Large comfy sofas with fluffy cushions and a wide table provide the best seating for the dining experience. I love short and concise menu and their menu was the best.There are limited number of starters, main, pizzas, pastas , desserts and mocktails.
I thought of ordering Calamari rings or Thai chilli chicken but decided to skip the starters due to time constrains. So i ordered a Herb flavoured Grill chicken and a Choco volcano for dessert. The Herb flavoured grill chicken was chicken breast marinated in variety of herbs and served with grilled vegetables. It was amazing, the aroma of the herbs were greats, the chicken was cooked to perfection and extra sauce which was served in a small bowl was delicious. The presentation on the other hand was spot on and the dish as a whole was perfect. The chocolate volcano is whats commonly known as Choco lava cake in certain restaurants. Served with extra chocolate sauce was this beautiful chocolate cake with sugar powder on the top and hot chocolate sauce on the inside. The dish was a visual delight to the eyes and an absolute stunner in the flavour section.
I had one of the best dining experience here, despite the slow service. The price is decent and totally worth the food. I would gladly recommend this place to my friends and fellow foodies out there. I rate Cafe De Luxe a solid 4.5/5

Was at Phoenix for some shopping and hunger demons took over as I was about to wrap up with my list. Checked with a few friends for suggestions (considering my lack of local expertise) and Gopinath Rajendran threw in Cafe De Luxe as a recommendation. Having liked the food at other in-multiplex cafe's I thought it would be worthy of a try - even if it meant an interim hunger fix sandwich.
Ambience - Dim lit, but extravagant interiors. (4/5)
Much in line with the grandeur of luxe, the cafe had fancy velvet sofa's and beautiful table lamps for each dining set. The open food counter was similar to the counters catering to their movie screens; made me assume the cafe was planned post launch.
Service (4/5)
Since I was the only customer dining at the odd evening hours, the staff were attentive to meet my requests. Food was served in reasonable time as well.
Pricing (4/5)
I would consider the pricing to be fair because if I was to pay for a similar dining experience - I might have to shell out a little more. Also, it is among the relatively inexpensive dining options at Phoenix.
Food
Was craving for chettinad food before I convinced myself to limit my dining to a sandwich (since this place was a cafe). Once here, the first thing I spotted was they had a chettinad chicken bunny chow (having tried and loved the butter chicken bunny chow elsewhere, I was slightly skeptical on how this spicy chicken variant would combine with bread; even considered chicken tikka masala as an alternative).
Well, followed my heart and it totally paid off. Very well cooked and spiced chettinad chicken with fresh and cripsy hollow bread (sesame seeds added to crispiness quotient). They combined brilliantly and I felt like this combination was specially designed for my palate (considering my weakness for chettinad chicken and freshly baked breads).
A very satisfying meal and definitely going back to have this.
P.s - Despite my very good experience I am limiting my rating to 4 because I tried only one dish. Would want to try more before I could judge their overall offering.
The spread is limited but whatever available is sumptuous. Go for the taste of luxury.

A cafe just above Luxe cinemas. The best is ambience, royal look and tastier snack. It is just economical for that place. I recommend this place for couple for after movie chats. One can take lift in the main hall to reach cafe de luxe.
We had actually booked for back to back shows in Luxe. So wanted to have some food in between the shows. So we went to this place. The Food was Good. Ambiance was nice. And the Service was good as well.
One of the luxurious cafes in velachery. It is a hidden jewel amidst the busy atmosphere of Luxe cinemas. It can be accessed through the lift in Box office lounge. Coming to food, it has plenty of varieties to choose from. The hot chocolate is a must and sandwiches are fresh and crispy. Highly recommended.

If not for zomato, I wouldn't have known about this place. It's literally a hidden gem. We were going for a late night Saturday movie in Luxe and we decided to have dinner over here. Found the secret lift which goes one floor up to the cafe. The lift is actually quite easy to spot. Right behind that famous LED pillar in Luxe. Initially we were the only ones there. The decor is amazing. Those plush sofas and table lamps and dim lighting. It was all so grand and romantic.
Coming to the food, it was quite a compact menu. We didn't have much time, so we went straight for the main course. We had a chicken sandwich with panini bread and filling which tasted like chicken in pesto sauce. One of the best sandwiches I've had till date. Next we had the grilled chicken, two nice slices of chicken served with French fries. I really loved the plating. The chicken too tasted soft and delicious. Overall food quality was great. The pricing is quite decent too.
The ambience and food will get you in good spirits.
I had an awesome food here. Its been a while I hit here. Its good to know they have not lost their touch!
Greek Salad was good as usual. I tried Fries with Indian Masala. It was so good compared to normal fries. Then I took Grilled Vegetables. I can safely say it was one if the best meal I have ever had!!

The place lives up to its name (Literally too :) ).Been there few times, this review is based on latest visit.
Alfredo Farfalle pasta - Served with couple of butter sauted breads, this was brilliant. In few restaurants the sauce would be too high on butter that after few spoons we feel full & would move away. But this dish kept interesting till the last strand was swallowed.
Fish & Chip - The classic Britain dish was served hot, however it was a let down as the fish slice was very thin, so the batter taste dominated the palate, it was as if a batter dish coated with a slice of fish. The French fries and the onion based sauce served as sides were absolute riot. I asked for additional sauce, the waiter was kind enough & brought me a good portion served in edible waffer cup - wow talk about customer service :)
Grilled chicken - This main course had two slices of chicken served with veggies, French fries & a slightly tangy sauce. It was a good dish, above average.
Points to ponder :
# If you plan to visit this place along with a movie at Jazz, then it's better to plan after the movie as the dishes would take a long time to serve. Thus you can avoid the stress of time & use this place as a bouncing board for discussion about the film.
# Do some googling on the pics of the dish you plan to order, as during one of my previous visits I ordered for Grilled veg with potatoes, but I got some thing like a lasagna :)
The place is not as costly as other on par continental restaurants. The customer service is really top notch.

Pizza was the best I have ever had in recent times.
Tried their Bunny Chow... Chicken Tikka. Very tasty. The bread was not too hard, usually the crust is hard (I've tried Bunny Chow in South Africa 2 yrs back), however this multigrain bun was nicely made. The gravy was lip smacking and rich. I wish there r options for gravy that goes into the real South African bunny chow with their African spices and vegetables. I had just enough time to try this out, Ofcourse it has a plush ambience and the lounge atmosphere is very inviting :) Thumbs up.. And keep it up!!
Great ambience and music. The food is great and so are the drinks. Great place to chill in case you are early for the cinema in LUXE. Courteous staff. Really impressed by the presentation.
Great place with a great view and ambiance. Great taste, quantity and quality. The staff os not as friendly as you would like them to be. Don't let the bartop mislead you. After all "Drunk patrons will not be allowed in the hall" right.

A cosy restaurant atop a busy luxe cinema hall. My dinner started with what they call potato pebbles which is nothing but South Indian Bonda. The babycorn starter tasted good, sad that I can't recollect the names of the dishes due to non availability of the menu in zomato.
The best part of my dinner was the main course - Pizza and Pasta(Spaghetti), they were just delicious!

We ordered all these items at about 9 30 pm and our movie was scheduled to begin in an hour. The pasta was served only at 10 20 which totally frustrated us as it tasted so good and we had to finish it in a hurry. There were no other customers to serve but still so slow that we didn't have time for desserts.
Many of us didn't even know there is a cafe up there. The place is hardly occupied hence very quiet. The whole place gives us a luxurious feel mainly due to its interiors, especially the beautiful chandeliers and pleated curtains. I was a little early for my movie, So I had a chance to visit this place. Quality is okayish but the prices of the food are quite high.
Cafe de luxe is a luxurious cafe ; beautiful ambience; luxury feeling it is just perfect. Coming to the menu; yes it is lavish and highly priced but worth the dish served. The quantity is good and balance of flavour etc. It is a best place to have a formal meeting cause it is quite and luxurious. It is overall a very beautiful café. A must visit once.

I beg to differ from some of the others around. But I just loved the place. OK so they don’t have the regular fried rice and paneer butter masala. Umm sorry may be you can goto the food court and find a lot of similar menus. I think their intend is clear. They have not at all marketed this place, which means they probably don’t want every Tom, Dick and Harry to sit around.
For the first timers, this is located above the food outlets of the screens. Opposite to the ticket selling counter, you will find an elevator to the first floor. Take that and its like Mario going down that secret pipe or up on the wine plant into the clouds. It’s a totally different world there. Firstly there was nobody when we went there. Then the seating and the décor they have arranged is just top class. If Luxe embodied theatres that melt class and posh, the theme is carried well in the café as well. Not too many café’s in Chennai can boast of having the furniture that was placed there, nor the table lamps or the table. The type of food was not the regular Indian, which probably disappointed many. But for a free open minded foodie, this shouldn’t be a problem. A veg sandwich and a steak was the order and it was filling and delicious. The service took a while, but being in Luxe had a magazine that had all the latest movie news and gossips. And for the luxurious ambience that they keep, the price was reasonable enough.
Given a choice I’d pick this to the food court! But my first advice will be to locate this :p then try it out. Don’t forget to drop your jaws looking at the chandeliers!! :D
This place is right on top of Luxe theatre at Phoenix mall velachery. It pretty much consists of the same menu as it is in the theatre excluding few filling main courses. The food here is decent however the dessert I tried wasn't so convincing. Ambience is great and worth the visit.
Some really soothing Smoothies. The Kiwi Kiss Makes the day. Though not fully worth the money you pay, But A Real good place for the ambience that they have arranged. A queens palace is what is portrays.
The ambience with the chandeliers is great! Undoubtedly the popcorn with the seasonings are a hit! I had popcorn chicken at the cafe along with a kiwi smoothie. They were served to the seats and i Loved both :)
Nothing much to describe because I always oder golden glazed popcorn with some seasonings(BBQ, Mexican cheese, sour cream and onion), a soft drink and French fries for the movie and you all know how they taste.
I went for a movie marathon (well almost) to Luxe cinemas. I caught 2 movies with a hour and half in between. Saw the add for cafe de luxe during the intermission and so decided to check it out.
Snugly located within Luxe cinemas on the mezz floor is this cafe which extends the theme of the entire theater
I prefer my tea with milk but they didn't have that option at all for the tea drinkers.
The short eats menu was however quite interesting. Tried the fish finger and the chicken quiche. The quiche was awesome, if I may add bloody brilliant!! Ordered another plate of it. The finger fish was tasty (the sause was the hero of the dish). I however felt the fish was a little too oily for my liking but that's just me :)

Located inside Luxe makes it a perfect place to grad a quick meal before your show. The place follows the same luxury theme as rest of the Luxe cinema, hence looks beautiful. One thing that I could never understand about this place is why is it always so deserted... You will hardly find people here. And it won't hurt to see a few people around, but the bright side is that ensures you a very quick service, which is exactly what you need.
Now about the food... I have always had a veg platter with another small eats which was a quiche once and some thing called vont something (I guess) the second time. The food does taste good and is presented well. A special mention to there spring rolls, they were bit different but tasted superb and so did everything else on the plate except the mini samosas which came is as a part of the platter. Lastly coming to the the beverages they offer a wide variety of drinks to chose from and they are spectacular. We ordered for strawberry lemonade and peach smoothie. The lemonade taste was nice and also looked good. Peach smoothie was yogurt based and I personally loved it wasn't too sweet the peach flavor wasn't empowering, in short a mildly flavored yogurt based smoothie.
Now the last but not the least... cost of the food. I didn't find the place to expensive but again this opinion might vary from person to person; as in, if I say the item is priced reasonable one can debate on it with the small quantity they serve. So I leave it to you to decide for the place being expensive or not.

Was early to a movie so slipped into the Cafe de Luxe, First thing that hits you was the ambience, so wanted to curl up in the indigo coloured couches but being an adult I restricted myself to adult behaviour and started looking into the menu. Went ahead ordered a chicken Supreme Pizza, Quiche, French Fries! and Tiramasu coffee.
Quiche was 4 small pieces was below average, had poor texture and did not really taste like anything! French fires, I love them at Blur in Satyam so was expecting it to be really good(reason I ordered it) but was below average, felt a bit soggy. Now to the Chicken Supreme Pizza, pizza was good except for the fact that chicken supreme must have more chicken on it, 6 small half an inch pieces does not make it supreme! Tiramasu Coffee was really good, quantity was less but it was really good.
Overall - I love the place, the ambience and service was excellent but food quality can improve and hopefully does. Will be going back soon, definitely before the next movie at Luxe!
This cafe is in the first floor of the luxe cinemas. The place is amazing with good interiors and seating place. The quality of the food is good. The price is reasonable. Best place to go for lunch or quick bite after watching movie. The service is generally fast.
A quiet get away place with beautiful furniture situated on the mezzanine floor of Luxe Cinemas.
Food is mediocre and so is the servicing.
The only advantage is the quiet ambience.

Luxe as the name says.. Prices are reasonable and staff is very careful
The restaurant is kind of hidden within luxe, it ia situated in the first floor and accessible through a lift. We were the only customers until we left. A must visit place if you have lot of time and you want to spend quality time with your dear ones. We ordered a manchow soup, sams chicken, pasta arabiata and a strawberry moctail. The soup was a let down, the chicken starter was great and pasta was just ok. The show stealer was the mocktail, the strawberry blended with coconut milk which tasted too good.
Restaurant located at luxe cinemas, food part was good, but pricing was higher side , worth the try..
It's a great place people usually tend to ignore. It would cost around 1000 for 2 people.
