Best place to stop by for a quick bite without compromising on taste! Plus, the prices are super reasonable, which is an added bonus. Try the plain ghee dosa with (dry) paneer chilli-- one of my favorite combos! Also, don't leave without drinking some filter coffee!

I often visited this place for paneer gravy and phulka. It was excellent I must say. It's a good hotel for vegetarians. Their South Indian dishes is simply superb. Especially idly, dosa and sambhar. The only concern is they don't have much varieties of food. If they can include more dishes and some North Indian dishes like naan and all it will be nice.Overall it's a good place to eat. Taste is nice. Cost is not a big deal, it's average. Don't forget to taste phulka with kadai paneer, it will taste good.
Been visiting Sri Krishna Cafe for nearly 2 years now. It is located near my college and happens to be the only veg restraunt within a radius of 500 metres. Me and my friends go here if we have some time to spare in the afternoon. Have tried almost all the varieties in Noodles,Fried Rice and starters. Managed to crash here yesterday for lunch.
Chilly Parotta - it's seriously good here. The chopped Parottas will be neither soft nor crispy. With Raita, this is one sassy combination for lunch.
Gobi Noodles - Well Cooked and a nice sprinkling of Gobi.
Sczehwan Fried Rice - Perfect Sczehwan Flavour with a very good taste.
Panner 65 dry - very crispy and a slight sour taste that does the bidding.
The Quantity of the items was decent. Bill was ₹390 for 4 dishes.
A very good vegan restraunt in Kotturpuram to have an economical lunch.
Have been visiting this hotel for the past 10 years. Clean hygienic vegetarian food at very affordable prices. An equivalent to Sangeetha hotels.
The only pure veg restaurant in the locality. Serves good dosas and rice items. The restaurant may give an illusion of being costly as it is a vegetarian restaurant but the cost is economical. Family friendly and good for small groups. Ambience is average and good staff. Recommended for vegetarians.

Visited for lunch with office colleagues which is situated near Anna Library. Ordered Meals (Rs70/-) which was served with Rice, Poriyal(Beans), Kottu( Bottle Guard), Sambar (Radish), Kara Kuzambu, Rasam, Curd, Pickle and Appalam. The taste of the food was good compared with the ambiance.
Location - 3.0/5.0; Ambience - 2.5/5.0; Food - 3.5/5.0; VFM - 3.5/5.0
Near the Anna library it's a place for quick bites and not a great ambience. But often crowded may be for their filter coffee. It's ok value for money and service is good
very good place to eat south Indian food. My favourite filter coffee. Server udhya kumar service friendly and helpful person .Rock itttttttt same all the time future
BEST CHILLI PARROTA ..........
..................EVER ..............EVER.............................................NOT THAT GOOD AMBIANCE BUT NOT VERY BAD EITHER
I think I have visited this place more than anyone else in Chennai! :D
The service is really quick (only if you order south indian food) :p
Staff is well behaved. And the best part is that it is pocket friendly! Recommended!
A good pocket friendly hotel to go to if you are staying nearby. The roti paneer butter masala combo is worth for 60 rupees. You could also get a fried rice plus Gobi Manchurian put together for 140 bucks. Decent South Indian menu. Mini meals for lunch is worth the money too. The staff is too good and friendly.
Cafe Sri Krishna is worth its money for Veg lovers. The Uttappams are really good. Have been going here for last 3 years. The price is reasonable
I was introduced to this place by my friend. Their meals is so good. This one is definitely one of those places where you feel the food taste like its out of your home kitchen. Hospitable workers and clean place to dine. Extremely reasonable too. Loved the food!
I love this place! Total value for money. No compromise on quality of food. I find their Parottas and Dosas better than the Saravana Bhavan at the railway station who charge 3 times what these guys charge. Some of their rice varieties are not the greatest but certainly worth every penny and more. They have different varieties like the wheat parotta and wheat pongal. Very light on the pocket and tastes really good. All in all, the best option in the 100 rupees per person category.
The map on Zomato doesn't show the correct location. If you come from IIT, reach the kotturpuram signal, take a right and the 4th or 5th building on the right is where it is.
The masala dosa was good but you need to go early in the evening to get idlies or else there be nothing left for you while the taste is very good it can be improved so that it could be excellent
Evening adai avial is really good. The quality and prices are reasonable. Also the north Indian and Chinese food is nice here. Try chilli paratha that is tasty and mildly crisp py.
