We very frequently buy sweets and snacks from ganga sweets. All sweets and savouries are good.
They have chats and traditional evening snacks like poli and kuzhi paniyaram (both sweet and spicy version) in evening.
I tried channa samosa and fried pav bhaji. Both were really good. Fried pav bhaji is must try.
A Definite yes.. Be it chat, sweets or snacks. I'm always happy to buy here. If I have to visit someone I buy sweets n snack only from here. I've got nothing to complain about.
Out of all pav bhaji I have ever tasted in Chennai... Here is the best... Amazing.. Hope they maintain the taste. Order online and it arrived hot at home.😍❤

I've been a regular at Ganga Sweets in Anna Nagar for the past year, visiting daily for coffee and occasionally indulging in breakfast and evening snacks. Was passing through this restaurant and found it looking good and spacious from outside. Impressed with its look, thought of having something for evening snacks and decided to get inside with my family. Outside, it has chat items with seating facility of two tables. Walked inside to find a table. Surprised to see that it had only 3 sofa seatings (4th is not usable anyways) and already occupied. There is another room having 4 tables with chairs and occupied too. Disappointed..... Noticed people waiting for tables.... No one caring to make table arrangements.... One of the table occupants are having tea for 20 minutes chit chatting (no offence, but occupying a four seater for two and showing no signs of finishing their tea when people are standing and waiting next to their table... Not a Coffee Day or Starbucks). I felt like I am waiting to grab a seat in the wedding dining hall 😊. Disappointed.. Finally a woman serving the tables informed us about a vacant table. Uffff... already 20 mins gone.
Now, comes the food... I ordered a Samosa, one Corn Sandwich, Sambar Idly, Dahi Puri and Coffee. All the frustration I had waiting for a table disappeared as I was eating the Samosa. The Samosa was awesome and the Corn Sandwich was yummmyyyy. Sambar idly was ok and tasted as in any other similar restaurants. Dahi Puri and coffee also tasted good.
Bought some snacks and sweets here. The Special Mysore Pak was 👍.
I personally liked the table service and taste here. Seating arrangement is a minus.

Very good place to have any meal. Be it lunch, break fast or dinner. Has great service for its price range. The taste is nothing special but at the same time it’s not bad. Has less than average parking spots. But the choice of food is pretty amazing. You could get anything from sandwich to north Indian foods. But unfortunately the last time I was in GS, we bought some Cham Cham and it tasted absolute bad. It was simply the worst. Good dosas bTW. the quality of food would vary with time and can it’s unpredictable. A standard fast food place

Hotel Ganga is a descent hotel and restaurant which serves Indian and Chinese foods. Both mini and macro meals are available. Ice-cream and deserts are good to taste. Separate coffee and tea stall is present. They have sweet center which is attached to same building. They have variety of sweets and tastes good. They do have vegetables and a fruit stall. Chat services also one of the attraction in this hotel. like its an all in one package. It's a vegetarian hotel as well. Parking should be on road side. Staffs are friendly here.

Ganga Sweets located in Annanagar, Chennai is a go-to place for delicious and affordable Indian sweets, snacks, and tiffins. During my recent visit, I was highly impressed by the quality and variety available.
They offer a wide range of freshly made South Indian sweets. Their specialty is the melt-in-your-mouth, flaky Mysore Pak which is absolutely divine. They also make other sweets like laddu, gulab jamun and more.
For snacks, I highly recommend their hot and crispy samosas. They also have a great selection of chaat like pani puri and sev puri. You can get tasty sandwiches along with very tasty South Indian tiffin items like idli, vada and dosa served fresh.
Everything I tried was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. The service is quick although it gets very crowded in the evenings. There is ample parking available which is a plus.
In summary, Ganga Sweets is a must-visit to enjoy authentic sweets and snacks in Chennai. Their specialty Mysore Pak is divine and they offer great value on all menu items. I highly recommend trying this popular spot when in the Annanagar area. Just avoid peak times if you don't want to wait.
Most affordable place for dining, vegetables, some groceries, fruits, chats, juices, and fine dining. It has all these and more. Only issue being, parking, that too it's taken care now. Neat and descent staffs, sweet and savoury taste amazing, the ready meal pastes are available and taste great. Regular visiting for all the above purpose. Should try pasv bhaji. It's a super hit.
Good taste. Tried paneer sandwich. The sandwich uncle challenged that he will serve best sandwich and man he did😝. Was not appealing at first but eventually turned out to be good
I ate a coconut appam♥️. It was so delicious🤩. Since then I have been going to this store whenever I go through that. The taste of the coconut appam available here is unmatched anywhere else.

Filter Coffee is good. We tried chat items like bhelpuri, channa masala which were good. Sweet and snacks varieties at this place is good. Good for a small group chat. They need to maintain their toilet.
