Good food. Most of the dishes we ordered - veg platter, Lahori paneer tikka, kadai veg, palak planner and the hyderabad dum Biryani were good but the dal makhani was a letdown. Tasted sour and old. Very surprised considering this place specialises in N Indian cuisine and dal makhani is as basic as it gets. Loved the lassi!
Portion sizes are very small and you definitely need to over order here else you end up ordering for a sabzi after the rotis arrive.
One tip to the owners - YOU CANNOT have such a horrible washroom. Worse than a railway station toilet!
Another north indian paradise at egmore...
This place is definitely worth a visit if you are a North Indian cuisine fan. Their paneer tikka is oodly doodly good. You will die for it.
The breads and sabjis are good. Only drawback is their service. Most of the times they take ages to serve you. I am not going into ambience as the food will cover for it. The rates are increased in recent times but it is relatively less compared to their nungambakkam outlet
Authentic and traditional North Indian food. The taste is more closer to a Dhaba so it's expensive for a Dhaba :) They have only around 6 to 8 tables and it feels quite congested but it was not full even on Saturday night so I guess not many people visit here. Nonetheless the food is tasty especially the starters and the desserts. The main course is pretty standard. We had big sizzler which had 3 kinds of paneer, mushroom and kabab and it was good. Even their portions are big. The veg biriyani had a nice flavor and was sufficient for 3 people. We ordered too much food and dint have place for desserts. A good family restaurant. Ambience 3.5 food 4 and service 4.
Their paneer is too die for. So soft and delicious. Be it any of their paneer dishes it has a lot of flavour. Even their dal is amazing. Although, their Shahi biryani was average, could be better. The interiors are amazing, their cutlery is great and even their service is amazing. Great place for north Indian food.
Naram Dil kebab is really different starter@
Mushroom Soup is awesome very mild sweet and mushroom smashed I think... Really good.
Enjoyed the hyderebad Biriyani it's really tasty and yummy 😋😋😋
Thanks to dineout for rolling out the 50% off on bill with Delhi Highway. A major fan of their Nungambakkam outlet, it was my first visit to the original at Egmore. It was a pleasant surprise to have the menu hold slashed prices in comparison with Nungambakkam. The quality and richness was retained in almost every dish except Biriyani; it was strangely off. Otherwise, Delhi Highway, for me, is to remain my one stop destination for veg authentic North Indian!
I have been to this place many time and have ordered Starters - Indian platter , soup , Indian breads , dal makhani , paneer curry , kofta , masala pappad , briyani etc. It's is egmore with parking . Cutlery are royal but occupy the table itself.
Service - On weekends it's very slow and on weekdays it's manageable. So I am giving 3.5 for it.
Ambience - It's like a causal place and sofa for sitting . So I will be giving 3 for it .
Food - food was tasty but biryani could have been more spicy . But u won't be disappointed with starters and main course there , it's absolute yummy and do try Indian platter.Price was OK for the food u order.
4 for food.
Vfm - overall 3.5 , you can go this place , you won't feel disappointed

Well it's a casual restaurant nothing has amazed me.The cutlery they use looks really royal but but wait here they are so large that they occupy whole serving table and then no place is left for ua order.very much conjusted.Though food tastes good.staff serves food wherever they like in the plate no proper serving pattern is followed well neither very much disappointed not happy.ok ok type
Ambiance: 3/5
Food: 3.5/5 (butter naan and aloo sabji 😍😍)
- appearance, nutrition and presentation 🤘
Service: 3/5
Value for money: 3/5
Overall: 👍🖒
Have been here couple of times and was never disappointed , has tried lots of north indian thalis at different places & wanted to try out something new and different and dropped in here with my friend , Started with Tomato Shorba , piping hot , spicy & excellent . Starters were yummy especially panner it was almost melting in mouth , main course was again great , dhal & mixed curry were tasty , rotis were soft & ozzing with butter, rice and desert were also good, over all an very good experience , would love to visit again .
A good North Indian cuisine...dropped in for dinner...had ordered paneer tikka which was soft and good...naan was also too soft to eat...masala papad was good...service is quick..i still like the other branch more!
A little late review as I forgot it altogether.Visited this place on a Sunday for dinner and got seated after 15 minutes of waiting. Started with harabhara kabab which was tasty and succulent.Had roti with paneer butter masala and dal makhani. Dal was quite good as was paneer. Children enjoyed brownie sizzler
Simply, one of the best sit down buffet lunch I had in Chennai so far...I along with my office friends went to this restaurant and we bought their maharaja thali from nearbuy in just ₹350/-..The spread of the thali was amazing..
Appetizer - Tomato Shorba was good, not that great.
Starters - Amazing paneer tikka, outstanding dahi malai kabab. Tandoori aloo and matar kabab was also quite good.
Main course - Dal makhni and paneer was outstanding. Aloo palak was good. Though I felt mixed veg did taste similar to paneer..spread of roti was decent. Finally came biryani and raita - pretty average. And yes they also served butter milk 😃
Dessert - the hot gulab jamun is just a perfect end to the whole experience..awesome..do keep space for atleast 2 gulab jamuns😉.
A thumps up from my side😄👍👌

Dropped in here for lunch - the ambience is good with awesome food of course. The service was quite fast even though it was a Sunday afternoon with almost all tables occupied. Ordered the usual paneer tikka and some gravies. The starter that caught my attention was the dahi kebab. It's yummy and has the flavor of curd. The food was really good. A must try!

Had a solo dinner all by myself. Started of with a crackling Dhahi Papdi Chat. Awesome is the word. This was followed by Garlic Naan and Paneer Lahori. The curry just melted in my mouth and the Naan was a great accompaniment. The food was absolute bliss! Truly Delhi Khana.
A decent place to have a meal at.
Went there for the first time and the place was nice and the ambience was good with some Hindi music on.
The tambe ke bartan in which they serve the food is what I found to my liking.
I ordered amritsari kulche and chole but they were not the standards kulche chole are but not that bad in taste.
Along with it I had rajma chawal which was yummy and rice was nicely cooked and rajma was authentic north Indian taste.
The raita was not chilled so I had to order extra ice for that.
Overall experience was good.
I wud sugeest every1 to Go and try to this wonderful restaurant for their quality of food. Was very much satisfied with superb taste. Cant expect a big space... they can occupy around 50 at a time. Was not ravenous otherwise wud really had a treat. And this 4.5 rating goes only for food. Service was quick enough. Not much parking space available still u cud park it to adjacent street.
Only point where i was disappointed was desserts. Like to say here there are many starters available and menu is lengthy, in this pls do try sham savera, starter with a diffrence. Back to desserts, they didnt had anything given on menu and reason given was chef is off today. Available dessert was kulfi and i didn't liked it at all. Rest every other thing was upto mark(leaving alone the khichdi)👍👍👌👌
A very nice place to enjoy north indian food, their thali is very heavy, but taste is very good and ambience is decent. I tried their bindhi masala and dal makhni, both i liked very much and the quality of food is very good.
You can also try some traditional sweets here, parking could be little tight, but since you have a valet parking, you need not do the hard work, but during summer, your car could become hot on the inside as they park it outside. Rest are decent.
Delhi Highway , Casa Major Road near don bosco school, Egmore .
North Indian food cravings led us to this place before movie night. Place was pretty empty. The orders arrived quick and service was decent.
Orders :
Achaari Paneer tikka - The paneer was fresh and soft and the masala was well marinated. The serving had six pieces.Slightly burnt at the edges in a place or two but tasted good.slightly overpriced.
Mix veg paratha- served hot with generous spread of ghee . The stuffings tasted fresh. The pickle and dahi sides were yummy.
Tandoori Roti - Soft and served hot
Veg Karahi - The serving had too much of oil floating around and asked the waiter to drain it and bring it. Even after the dish was brought back there was too much oil. Told them again and they promptly replaced it with a fresh preparation. The fresh preparation was good.
Masala lemonade - Combo of lemonade and jajeera. Pretty normal.
Total bill was Rs.842 inclusive of taxes and 10% service charge. Overall would say decent veg option with quick service.
Simple vegetarian restaurant. The staff are polite and well trained. Food is absolutely yum! Ordered Paneer Delhi style, kulcha, dum biryani and bitter milk. Service was quick and all the items cooked in a very balanced way. I would definitely recommend the place.
Thali is a must have
Panner tikka , aloo cheese balls ,chaanch ,shorba , hara bhara tikka, Indian breads ,paneer butter masa, mixed veg was a integral part of thali. In dessert gulab jamun was served.
Ambience was not too great but ok for a normal restaurant.
Paneer tikka , shorba ,paneer masla was good in taste.
I went for the delhi highway which was in anna nagar(roundtana) and when i heard they have closed, i was like damn !!
and i found one more :D in egmore :D
With so many expectation ,
i ordered the same dishes , which i loved-sizzling plater, paneer tikka and the jeera rice.
Loved the jeera rice and the tikka , but the platter wasnt that great. The curry i had with the jeera rice wasn't great.
Maybe i ll try out the other dishes :D
I seldom ate rajma chawal before coming to this place. Thanks to one of my friends who made us come to this place even tough we missed a bit of our movie! We planned to order one rajma chawal and ended up eating 3 plates. Rest the chats and all are good but it's the rajma chawal there which you should go for.
I went with three of my friends yesterday for a dinner. The starters which we ordered were awesome.. The paneer which they provided was very soft. All varieties of bread which we ordered was very good..the side dish was okay ish.. The Hyd biriyani was not so good and raitha taste bitter .We finished up with a good lassi for the night.. Overall it was a good experience
When it comes for eating vegetarian North Indian food - Delhi Highway is the safest bet one can take. Have been to the place several times, certainly can say consistent taste and good service even on Sunday!
Will definitely go back on a given day to eat their paneer tikkas - very soft!! Not to forget their dal makhani - creamy & rich in taste, don't miss their Hyderabadi Biryani!
A little disappointed with the dessert secrion.. wanting to see more in your sweets.. otherwise will definitely go back for a family get together !!
It may have taken a while to get to my mouth, but I've found the best Alu Kulcho on the planet. I was so excited. Servers were incredibly kind and accommodatin and the ambiance was good.
Had been to Delhi Highway for lunch today. Location wise is it is right on Casa Major road with 3 car park slots available, and valet option to park car also. Soup (Tomato Shorba) was ordinary, but amritsari panneer tikka was awesome. For main course we ordered Panneer paratha, mix veg and chola batura and all of them were good. Spiciness was little on higher side and could have been milder. Overall a nice place and worth a visit.
Things you have to try: Pani Puri, dahi kebab(yummmy!), paneer cornflakes starter, rumali roti, and the paan falooda. I love delhi highway!
P.s. The last time I went the chole had waaaay too much salt. My family tried the veg shorba and enjoyed it but I'm not a fan of shorbas.
We were pressed for time and dined her couple of weeks back without any expectations as such. It is located in a place where you definitely dont imagine it to win you over. A decent, clean place, thats all we expected it to be. And all these it was, and then some more. We opted for the thali and oh boy, were we in for a surprise. The food was nothing short of yummilicious! A whole rainbow of flavours ! And by the time dessert was served, we were too full and content. Priced at around 1500 for 3 thaalis, we felt it was absolute value for money. Service could have been better though.
This is a vegetarian restaurant and the quality of food in this place is very good. I have food here on a regular basis and it's always been a nice experience every time. I'd recommend this place to a vegetarian or anyone who wants to try good North-Indian food.
A decent and small place. The food is delicious and service fine. Try Mushroom, kababs and paneer. They are really good. Prices are fine. It's other branch is still better.
Nice place for Vegetarians in chennai. Food was good & ambience too. Also to add, their vareity of pastries for eggless option is large.
Nice nd great place to have fun. Service will be excellent nd friendly in nature . Ac chill was too cold . Food taste was really awesome that too their spl lassi I am great fan for it
Any one who is new to north Indian food will find it good. The food and ambience were great. The waiters knows only Hindi. So better to have a friend who knew Hindi with you. The setup of the restaurant is also good. All together its a good place to taste north Indian food but it bites the purse a bit .
location : casa major road , (Don bosco school road)
really good restaurant.
Taste is good here.. I love panner butter masala here.
A good noth indian Cuisine in city.
Ambience is good.
Food is hygiene
U can try the thali here.. they are good.
North Indian will love this place.
Costs are a bit standard here.
Paneer tikka was damn awesome - I still drool thinking about the way it felt in the mouth with that subtle charcoal flavour and yummy spice mix! Must try..!
Best place to have north Indian food in chennai... Desserts are awsome as well as starters.. Abt main course I m sure u can't complain. Service is OK.
Awesome indeed the besþ place to have paneer tikka and punjabi dishes too yummy lassi super on the whole an awesome restaurtant with a delightful service always :)
On the day we were there, the place was pretty empty (we were the only ones there, actually), which didn't bode well. But that changed in a big way the moment the Amritsari Paneer tikka arrived, in all its softness with grated cheese on top. A tad expensive, but absolutely worth the price. For the main course, the garlic naan (very very good, and pretty inexpensive) and the rumali roti (wow!) were tried, with Aloo Gobi and some Mushroom sabji, which were both average in quality but enough in quantity. The chaas was a letdown by all expectations, especially after the paneer. Costs about 600 a head if you have a proper meal.
On the onset, I'd like to mention that this place isn't for every middle class person on a budget. As it was a special occasion on that day, we decided to steer away from our usual budget.
I had been to Delhi Highway with my family on a Sunday and I was wondering if I should have reserved a table beforehand. Thankfully, the place was not crowded when we reached, which was around 12pm. The crowd started pouring in around 45 mins later.
In the mean time, for starters we had Tomato soup which was a lot in quantity and hence didn't order anything else for starters. The soup was really creamy and tangy, and I was close to ending my lunch with another bowl of soup. The methodology and the crockery cutlery used were authentic and that just adds a bit to your experience. For our main course, we ordered Rumali Roti and Kaju Kofta. The latter was really sweet and if you're someone who would prefer spice to sweet, then this may not be your first preference of food. Nonetheless, I was completely immersed in the soft Koftas and was taken away by the fact that even though it was sweet, it was finger licking good. And I truly mean it. If the pricing of the dessert had not been extravagant, I would have gone for it.
We left the restaurant around 1.5hrs later with an extremely full stomach and much lighter wallets.
Had gone for lunch. Was lucky to get car park in the very small place in getting in the restaurant.
Ambience was good. Starters - Paneer Tikka, Masala Papad, Chaas were very good.
Bhindi Dho Pyaza, Paneer Butter Masaala tasted good, but felt they were prepared already, and heated on order.
Garlic Naan, Pudhina Paratha weren't fresh and tasted bland. Very friendly staff.
Do check it out.
The 10 Day "NO" non-veg period started yesterday (17/09) on account of Ganesh Chadurthi. *crying*. *its going to be a tough period :p :p*
So we decided to have dinner from this pure veg joint through zomato delivery.
We were pleased. We ordered the Laccha Paratha, Rotis, Naans, Bhindi Jaipuri, Hyderabadi Biryani, Assorted Veg Starters, Lassi and Gulab Jamum.
The food was extraordinary and very tasty. We least expected that it would be. The Bhindi Subzi was legendary. I haven't had such a good Bhindi subzi anywhere.
The Biryani was Ok considering that it was vegetarian.
However, the starters were exquisite. The Panner was super fresh and soft. Loved it.
The Lassi is one of the best I have tasted in Chennai. The taste is equivalent to the ones at Bombay Lassi (Behind Devi Theatre) and New Tandoori Tadka.
The Gulab Jamum was decent. They could have make it a bit softer.
Overall, the food was really really rich and creamy reminding me why Delhi food is so damn tasty. "BUTTER, PANNER, CREAM, MILK, GHEE,CASHEW, ALMONDS" Phew!!!!!

Pleased with service and cleanliness of the restaurant
Taste is good and unusually spicy for a North Indian cuisine.and an amazing panneer size and taste
Tried Punjabi veg cuisine in chennai And got boggled with taste of all dishes. Was so upto the mark, amazed with Roomali roti ,mirch sabzi specially , and only restaurant which gave complementry salad😂 and served in copper crockeries
Authenticity -perfect 5/5
Ambience-3.5/5 congested, less parking space
Food-4.5/5
Price 4/5
Staff-4/5 humble
surely will visit again
They should definitely work on their service. Brilliant authentic north Indian dishes. Had Amristari naan and Chole bhatura. It was yummy and good
Good place to eat. Authentic North Indian food. Taste was really good, however prices were a bit overpriced. Bit of a Noisy atmosphere. Food-9/10, ambience- 7/10
The food is awesome ....just awesome . Totally worth the money. Paneer is very soft which is very hard to find in most of the restaurants in Chennai . Really connects to Delhi !
@Delhi highway.I enter and find myself in a royal ambience.I quickly scan through the menu and pleased to find the right north Indian food. From starters to paratha's to rice and not to forget the dessert.. Service is pretty fast and the hospitable staff serve you well.I order for a Paneer Afghani which turned out to be deliciously amazing.Soft cottage cheese
marinated with white cream and tandoori grilled to give a rich flavour it stands to your expectations and you want to have more of it.The main course was average the side dish did not have fresh vegatbles apart from the regular French beans, creamy texture and the blend of spices with red chilly tastes unique, the pudhina paratha tasted like any order paratha. The dessert sizzling brownie was average as the brownie was just a thin slice of cake no great texture and the chocolate poured over the dessert was hot cocoa not chocolate bitter in taste..Overall it is average but a must try.

I wanted to have a typical North Indian thali so when I searched I found this place.
You can have authentic North Indian food here.
Food was fantastic
Starting from the starters... Had panner starters one of the best in the city... Panner was soft, so soft that it will melt in you mouth. Main course all the sabjis were pretty good especially rajma was incredible.
Then altlast had the suji halwa it made my day..
On the other side I felt this place to be too noisy.. It is not a fine dining in this sense..
But overall it was a Pretty good place to have food
Its was a hot Saturday afternoon. Me and friend decided to checkout this place. We were shown a corner table and I felt that the ambience was good. We decided to try amritsari paneer tikka, naan and the potato corn spinach gravy.
The starter arrived and as I took the first bite, I felt like giving a whoop of joy. The paneer was so full of flavour and soft. Next arrived the main course . Special mention needs to be made about the potato in the gravy. It was just perfect and creamy.
And next we decided to order some nice both indian dessert to satisfy our sweet tooth. But half the desserts on the menu were not available. So I ordered a masala chaas to wash down the food. The chaas wasn't chilled and had a tad too much of masala for my taste
Overall it was a good experience.
This place was found and chosen because we were craving for pure north Indian cuisine. One way I judge places is to go by their putina chutney and Delhi Highway doesn't disappoint in that regard. So in a sense, even before the main course had arrived, I was won over.
The place has a nice ambiance, with typical bollywood film songs playing in the background. It was very deserted and that was strange considering it was a Friday night. Can't fault the food though even if we weren't particularly adventurous with our orders - dal makhni, paneer tikka and tandoori roti. They were really really good. The place is on the more expensive side, but I am inclined to think it's worth the financial exertion. Staff are extremely and almost annoyingly too enthusiastic to serve.
Had heard a lot about this place and so went there on a Sunday along with some friends. Not completely upto the expectations, but definitely better than a lot of other fine dinning restaurants serving "North Indian" cuisine. We ordered amritsari paneer tikka, cheese aloo tandoori and masala papad for starters. All 3 were really well cooked and tasted awesome. The tomato shorba was a complete let down, but the starters really did get our mood up all again. For the main course we decided with the daal makhani, veg kadhai, garlic naan, butter naan, paneer kulcha and veg biryani. Everything tasted really good .
Ambiance: good ambiance. A bit over crowded on sunday, but that's always a good sign :)
service: Just fine but does need to improve.
prices: reasonable
Overall, the place is really good. Will definitely visit again for its authentic north Indian food.
Nice Jain food
Enjoyed with family and friends
Service is little bit slow can be improved a lot
Nice and good restaurant will be visiting soon

There were few bookmarks made by me in Zomato so that I can visit those places. Fortunately I had to go to Delhi Highway yesterday along with my friend and we enjoyed the dinner yesterday. We ordered Missi Paratha and Dhum Biriyani. The best part which I had never seen was they offer Side Dish for the Partha.
I had Partha's in lot of restaurants and they ask me to order Side Dish separately however here they gave me choice as well. Dal / Chole with Raitha. They had it stuffed and the taste was really good. The Dhum biriyani was also tasty and the service was really good I must admit. In the other hand I ordered Gulab Jamun with Ice cream. It seemed like they don't serve them both together as the waiter came and asked me whether they need to put both of them together and I explained.
The taste was really excellent as the Gulab Jamun was hot and soft But the price of the Jamun was way too high. Other than that no negatives will visit again. Had a Nice Dinner.
Authentic north Indian joint with some awesome items on their menu. Tried kichadi and it was really great. Still remember the yummy mango lassi. Only drawback is the place as it is on a busy road and parking is a concern, but they have wallet parking for your rescue.
I have never actually had a dine in at this place, usually opting home delivery. I should say the attraction about this place is they are ready to deliver any time, not once has the food gone cold and the taste...delicious. Should say this is the best place for north indian cuisine in Chennai. Must try their paneer dishes. Super soft, melt in your mouth type with rather good option of flavours.
Awesome north indian food specially paratha combos which includes dal makhni, raita and pickle. Tasty food, quick service, good ambience and easy on pocket.
One of the best places in the city to have authentic north Indian food. The ambience is pleasing and service is pretty good too. Its better to visit this place for lunch as they have an exclusive maharaja thali which will definitely make your taste buds happy and its worth the money. Overall a must visit spot for north Indian food buffs.
A perfect place to be in for a north Indian in Chennai absolute fab ambience awesome preparation of food .
A Punjabi need a aloo ka prantha and their you are these people make you feel home with butter on top and curd or lassi what ever you want .
Next is rajma rice that is what all loves to have evrytime .
Bhindi masalla is too good .I would say its a must visit place for all who love Punjabi food and want to have home like food in chennai
Great experience... I ve been there for many times....i became a veg foodie after eating from here...love the starters...bharwan mushroom is my favourite...couldn't try their maharaja thali...rabadi with jalebi is great....
We went here on a Sunday afternoon around 12.. Wasn't that crowded. We ordered their Maharaja Thali (unlimited).. Their starters were really good.. The paneer is really fresh and super tasty. Their breads and sides were very rich, and tasted wonderful.. This is very filing and you probably are done by the time you have had the Rotis.. I would have rated this place 5 if my meal ended there. But, The biryani that came with the thali was so horrible that I had to waste it and They can improve on their dessert menu. The jamun was rock hard and there was no icecream! Left us disappointed. I would say the thali is worth around 350.. It costs 4999 inclusive of taxes. The ambience was good, their service was prompt. All in all, a good experience minus a dessert and bad biryani..

Awesome Thali. Pannier justs melts in the mouth. Good ambience. We went for Ala carte but ended up having thali. Parathas nit to be missed.
Have not had the courage to try thalis here - seem to be very heavy. Ordered a-la-carte, the Lahori Paneer Tikka was paneer like nowhere else in Chennai - very tender, and tasty. The Tomato Shorba was excellent too. Had Bharwan mushrooms - a little heavy but tasty. The Dal Makhani was nice, as were the Garlic Naans that we had ordered. One in our group wasn't feeling too well, so ordered for a Dal Khichri and Punjabi Kadi. The Dal Khichri was not on the menu but they offered to make for us, but was a let down - the rice wasn't well cooked - probably it was cooked to make a pulao and was added to moong dal, the kadi was average. The moong dal halwa was excellent though!
Oh man, where do I start! Their masala papad and their jal jeera were a class apart. It almost did feel like I was in Delhi . I went back Home that day feeling very happy with a big ass food baby and had no regrets for over eating. Nuff' said I suppose.
Their Thalis are awesome! Think no further it's absolute value for every penny that you shell out for this authentic North Indian culinary delight that is sure to bowl you with every morsel.
Finally got there and I'd say this is a first rate north Indian restaurant with some delicious dishes you won't find in south of India.....
This place had been in my wish list for quite a long time. My cousins were in town and I had dragged them out to this place. We had made reservations thinking it would be crowded and as expected I wasn't surprised. The place seemed a little cramped up. The service was quite quick and the food was served hot.
Tomato soup (4/5)
Masala papad (3/5) lacked the authentic taste.
Paneer tikka (3/5) was the worst of all dishes We ordered. May be our expectations was quite high
Dal fry (4/5)
Kadai vegetable (3/5) was tasteless.
Indian breads (3/5)
The quantity could serve three people at ease.
It costed us 1140 for the order which is quite reasonable if you consider the quantity they give.
Valet parking was available
Reasonable ambience. Family place. Reasonably good food. They have offbeat things on the menu. But I would advice to stick with regular stuff. We ordered a gujju bread called tepla and it tasted like tandoori roti. Quantity of the dishes were good.
Sooper sooper place for some sooper delhi ka khana and yes the great paneer delicacies of delhi... found the place a little cramped up but the interiors were quite good with turbans and all. All the dishes were awesome. Started with sham savera kebab and the hare bhare kebab... then had some super rotis with paneer mushroom and chole as sides. The paneer is so soft that it just melts in ur mouth. Den had a biriyani which was excellent with all flavours. Finally the desert was phirnee. 1st time I have tasted it here and it was excellent. Just one thing to say about the food here awesome...
Service and food was superb. Ordered the maharaja thali (unlimited). Quantity, service everything was perfect. Just a suggestion to the management is to please serve roti/Nan only at the time of having them, yesterday it was served early and by the time we were having other starters and chat, it became dry. Otherwise it was all perfect.
Dinner at Delhi highway, egmore.all items were good.but service was bit slow since we went for ala carte and most them were for buffet dinner.tomato shorba was good mild spiced.paneer tikka was soft.cheese tandoori aloo was good.naan, aloo paratha was ok.paneer side dish was bit salty.dessert rabdi was good.overall good experience.can improve customer service.bill attached.price of each item mentioned in the bill.used swiggy dine out coupon and got 20% discount on overall bill
The food is really amazing and tasty. The quantity is also amazing. I would recommend the hot and sour soup as a must must try. The veg jalfrezi subzi is also yum. The only drawback is that the service is really poor it takes 30+ mins to deliver things. Not sure if that's regular but i had this experience when i visited.
the seating is amazing but the ac wasn't working while i visited so the experience of enjoying the food declined.
Tried the Thali here , Food was good , Place was neat ,but nothing to boast about! The atmosphere was almost dead ! Waiter's mood was as if they are working for name sake ! A one time visit place !
We tried the Maharaja thali. Can be shared with kids < 5 years. They charge half price for older kids.
The number of items are limited, listed in the menu of the day. Quantity is unlimited though.
Taste is good but all items end up in a sweet flavour, so can't eat much.
Waiters bring down the mood a bit. Felt they were bit laid back. A strong contrast to other buffet restaurants. They only speak Hindi and it is a bit hard to communicate in English.
A one time visit considering food and service.
We went for Lunch on Sunday! The place was crowded and we waited for around 25 mins.
Food taste was delicious but the service was not upto the mark. The waiting time between dishes served was too high. We had Maharaja Thaali. Recommended to visit on Weekday rather on weekends.
Very good dining experience. Sizzler platter and Hyderabad biriyani are my favourites... service level not upto mark but quality of food masks this shortcoming..a little overpriced. A good choice for vegetarians around Egmore
I love their food it is really tasty.
Recently tried their limited thaali which had 3 side dishes like dal, pannner and sabji, 5butter naan, small portion of biriyani and one sweet.
But this limited thali is only on weekdays, whereas unlimited Maharaja thali is available daily with different menu for 7 days.
Limited thali costs 300 rs
Maharaja unlimited thali costs 550 rs
I Loved the limited thali and no doubt a filling one.

Really enjoyed my dinner at this restaurant as if you are looking for a good North Indian food in Chennai then you should definitely visit. The best part was that they have in-house desert options also in terms of pastries, cakes, etc.
Food was excellent and the Friday special Thali was awesome. Great service and atmosphere was excellent
Thali was good, every day different Thali menu. Must try is lassi & mushroom fried rice
