LOVLEY FOOD....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
This cute little place in the middle of chetpet was recommended by a friend of mine and it was a perfect setting for a mid week get together with friends.
Being one of the very few Asian places in the area, the feel was very Tibetian with paintings of The Buddha brandishing almost all the walls. The ambience was soothing, but the music should have suited the ambience more. I would not recommend late 2000s hindi music for a place like this.
Started off with the starters and the paneer Afghani was to die for. The water chestnut steamed momos was brilliant.
Tried a couple more starters which were okayish and the main course Cantonese noodles with Hong Kong sauce was spicy and extremely filling
A fine place with good food and good ambience.
I went to this restaurant with the @eazydiner offer of 50% on food. The interior is great and the service also is really good. Ordered mushroom soup and it was good although i don't like mushroom. In starters had something called dragon Manchurian and it was tasty. In main course, got fried rice and it was very bland and had to change the dish. Special mention to the welcome drink.
asia aroma is a chinese and thai restaurant located next to grand sweets restaurant on spurtank road in chetpet. the ambience was good and decent with black and white interiors and some wall paintings and a tv to watch. the thai style of preparation was felt and seen in every dish that was delivered on the table. we ordered the following drinks. pink lemonade, lemon grass ice tea and kong mojito. all the drinks were refreshing and tasted good. for starters we ordered afgani paneer tikka, chilly milly kabab, pok bung tod which is deep fried green spinach tossed with garlic and pepper sauce, khana tod nombay which is deep fried broccoli in apricot sauce, crispy chilly pepper corn, water chestnut momo panfried. all the starters tasted good except the kebab which was a bit salty. the paneer was so soft and well marinated with spices. for soups we ordered hunai and spicy iceberg lettuce soup. they tasted truly thai in taste with adequate amount of asian spices. for mains we ordered tofu baos, paneer rogan josh, masala kulcha and sizzling rice. the highlight of the lunch were thr desserts fried ice cream, banana patties with icecream, dates pancake with vanilla icecream. all werr too good and very rich in taste. on the whole a nice afternoon spent with friends over a lunch session. definitely recommend to friends and family if u like asian food
The place where the taste of Thai and its style of preparation is felt and seen in every dish that u order.. @asia_aromachennai ❤️😍 .
.
I liked all the dish that was served .. Special mention to the Khama Tod Nombay ( Deep fried broccoli with apricot sauce), Pak Bang Tod (Deep fried Palak with garlic sauce), Afghani paneer tikka 😍.. They serve Bau’s as well .. The stuffed kulcha had its own taste 😍❤️ Almost all the dishes had the Asian spices ..
.
. .
The flavours can be tasted in every bite of the dish .. They covered almost all the Asian style food items .. The choices are very wide ..
I personally liked the ambience above all.. .

Asia Aroma is a specialty restaurant serving Thai,Chinese and Indian dishes. It is situated in the main road of Chetpet and is done up in monochromatic shades of black and white with grey thrown in for good measure.
They do serve some interesting mocktails and I chose the Lemon grass Iced Tea which was packed with the natural flavour of lemon grass and was very refreshing,I tried the Spicy,Ice Berg lettuce soup which was loaded with crunchy veggies in a flavourful broth.
The concourse of starters followed which included Deep fried Spinach tossed in garlic pepper sauce, Broccoli florets in apricot sauce,a creamy Afghani Paneer Tikka which was literally melt in the mouth and Crispy Corn and Chilly Mili Kababs. All the starters were good especially the Thai ones and not to forget the Pan fried Water chestnut momos which were a hit.We also tried the Tofu stuffed Baos ,they were really good too.
The main course items we tried were Masala Kulcha, Paneer Rogan Josh and Sizzling Tofu Rice.Everything was good especially the Kulchas were soft and the filling delicious,
From their dessert menu,we tried the date pancake and banana pancake with ice cream and the piece de resistance- the deep fried ice cream. It is a one biter and the contrast of the cold ice cream and the warm exterior is a taste sensation.
The service is smooth and friendly and the varied menu has enough options to warrant a repeat visit.
This veg asian cuisine restaurant serves some excellent varieties of starters😍👌....but everything is oily🙄...and try their lemon drinks which was so good....for mains the bread varieties was good but the paneer masala was very creamy😶....the BAO was so good🤤....desserts were average🙄 but other than that the soups, starters, and drinks were the best👌👍
Ambience and service was perfect...👍

Their concept of keeping black as their base colour for their whole restaurant was super ... right from their tables to their cutlery everything was black ..
went on a day when few of their workers were leaving home for Diwali .. Manager was kind enough to get us to the table and take our orders .. As we had a small kid with us we asked them for a phulka which wasn’t in their menu but even then they prepared one for the kid ..
Coming to the food : our order was sweet corn soup and man chow soup .. both of them tasted very good (4/5)
Starters : masala Papad(3/5). honey sweet potato(4.5/5) vegetable balls manchurian(5/5). I loved
Their manchurian .. the Sause and the flavour were on point .. I recommend everyone to try it ..
Main course : lo mein noodles (4/5) : It tasted like the noodles were hand made. I love the flavour of it ..
Butter Roti and Dal fry :(5/5) I would say I tasted the best and the most thick and flavourful dhaba style daal fry in Chennai
Dum biriyani :(3.5/5) it tasted good but found a little bit oily ...

We visit here today we ordered 3 starters, soup n lo mean noodle, starter was amazing n lo mean noodle 👌👌top, Ambience nice friendly staff 😀😀 Thank you team Asian aroma
Good food, good service. Quantity was reasonable as well. Worth eating once, after that you can decide whether to revisit or not. They have decent ambience and parking facility is available as well.
One of the few places where Indian Chinese taste is felt. Staff are a little under experienced but very polite and understanding staffs. Very calm place to go for lunch
The food was fresh, properly prepared and great value of money. I highly recommended it.
Specially, Pak bung tod was superb. We'll surely visit again.
Vegetarian Asian cuisine sounded better ! So we decided to try it out . This place definitely comes along with our budget and also the sauce they use for those main dishes is fantastic 🔥👌
Awesome palce for people who love the north Indian and Tandoori starter Chinese Thai sply who are vegetarian.......worth the money .

Must be try nice place lovely food .
Good place for Chinese and North Indian food taste superb and good supporting staffs Restaurant is bit small u might have to wait or make advance booking but worth a try
Been here yesterday night for dinner.
We ordered a machow soup, chill paneer, veg dim sum, chilli garlic noodles, fried banana ice cream, chill pepper corn and fried ice cream.
I love the Chinese taste given to vegetarian food.
I loved the food.
Made a last minute decision to have lunch on a lazy Sunday afternoon and it was totally worth it! We were a group of 6 & primarily ordered North Indian food and it was beyond expectations. Full marks for cleanliness. Service was impeccable. Highly appreciated. A definite must visit.
We ordered a tom yum soup, dmmsum, Burmese curry noodles and a red Thai curry. Best decision to come down here. My father and I are suckers for a good Asian dinner and we just couldn't find that place in Chennai. By far best Asian food in the city. Loved every single bite coming back for more!
Amazing ambience with good service.
Best place for copules and with friends too.
Staffs are too polite.
But only limited items.
Manchow rice was super good.
Asian Aroma as the name suggests is a place which caters staple food of all Asian countries.
Important thing is that it is a Pure Vegetarian restaurant. Decor was simple with dark walls and wooden chairs.
Ordered Hunai Soup, Manfarang Tod for starters. The Soup was really thick and had a lot of steamed vegetables. Quantity was good.
Manfarang Tod was like the crispy chiili potatoes. Tasted fine but would have loved to see more of it than what was served
Main Course was Sezhwan Noodles & Mix Veg Manchurian. Noodles were spicey and the quantity was more than enough. Mix veg Manchurian was also good.
For deserts, had sizziling brownie which was perfect way to complete the meal.
Staff were proactive and polite and were happy to explain the ingredients of the dishes in the menu.
Overall felt happy after dining here. Would definitely visit again to try other dishes in their menu.
Cheers.
Excellent food!!! Dinner was just perfect. Didn’t feel like we ordered with you for the first time. Continue making Happy food & Happy Smiling Patrons 😋
Its always good to try various cuisines without worrying if the food mixes veg and non veg ingredients or utensils and one such place is Asian Aroma. Team lunch lead us to explore this place which is a stone's throw away from the workplace. The table booking of 10 was taken without any issues and we found that the table was already set up when we arrived.
Due to lack of time we explored the buffet which would allow us to save time from choosing and ordering. They have weekday lunch buffet, which offers a decent mix of their indian and other asian cuisines. They have a set menu for each and every day of the week, which in itself was a good thing.
Decor 4/5: Small joint, can seat 40 people, decently spaced. The decor was inviting and fun.
Food 3.5/4: Starters served were Paneer tikka and fried corn kernels. The Paneer was soft and the masala rich. It was perfect. The corn starter was a standard Chinese affair.
The soup served was a manchow soup which was really thick and had loads of fresh veges and was good. As part of the buffet we were also served a mojito as a welcome drink. It was yum but bit sweeter than usual as I think they used aerated drinks like sprite or 7up instead of plain soda. But i was extremely tasty and refreshing.
The main course, we were served a paneer gravy, dal makhni with butter naan and laccha paratha. As with the starter, the paneer gravy waa rich and super yummy. The dal stole the show with right amount of ginger, garlic and buttery taste. The laccha paratha and butter naan arrived piping hot and tender.
The other main course items included a thai fried rice with corn and groundnuts. A noodles and a gravy. The noodles and rice were bland and the gravy tad too sweet. They all lacked the punch Asian cuisine is known for. It was a bit disappointing.
For dessert we had fried noodles and icecream, which you cannot go wrong with.
On a subsequent visit, we also tried their momos and Bao and found they were supremely amazing and well balanced and unlike the sweet gravy we had earlier.
Service 4/5: I found the service, attentive, patient and they were genuinely interested to know if the patrons like the food. Great staff.
Overall a very nice place if you want to eat vegetarian.
Late lunch.
Went here along with my sister @3 and found the place empty.
Service - people are super friendly.
We got hot n sour - okish
Veg momo - amazing. The stuffing was perfect.
Baby corn manchurian semi gravy with basil fried rice was perfect. Felt the rice was indo Chinese. None the less it was wow.
Costed approx 1000.

There's no doubt about Asian food taking prominence in Chennai with a lot of new places opening up to cater this cuisine. The present places and the new ones are definitely doing it based on a positive demand for the cuisine connoisseurs in the city.
Catering to the vegetarian crowd, another new place named Asian Aroma has opened at Kilpauk. It serves not just Asian cuisine, but Indian too.
We were invited for lunch by the joint.
Frankly food was good, but I felt the Indian food was better. So many of my friends love the food here. Hope the place offers consistency in this.
Here's what we had:
STARTERS
Paneer tikka: One of the best. Too good, I should say. Super soft and fresh paneer with tasty marination and cooked just perfect. This is something a paneer lover can repeat order.
Noodles in Atlantic soup - flat noodles in clear broth for those who like the simple soup. For me, it was way too bland. Probably a good bet for goods, as it is no spice at all. I might add some sauces to it.
Manchow soup: This one was more towards the Desi Chinese style, and I like it that way. Adequate hotness and flavours.
Couple of Tofu dishes were served, like the Tofu Bar and Sweet and Tangy Tofu. While all the elements and flavours felt good, but me not being a Tofu fan, can't enjoy much of it.
Pepper corn: This is one veg asian dish that takes over everything at many places. While this can be called good, but not the best that I have had.
The Water chestnuts dimsum were Nice actually.
MAINS:
Chilly paneer dry: I like it a lot.
Special lalla Musa dal: Really well made and tasted so good. Was slow cooked with a mix of dals and had the right tadka.
Paneer Rogan Josh: Again soft paneer, made in that rich gravy. Went very well with Laccha paratha, Butter kulcha and Butter naan.
Topped Mandarin Chow: This one had double fried noodles along with fresh veggies in a Mandarin sauce. Tasted good.
Rangoon chitt chow -A melange of vegetables cooked Burmese style, with slight and thick sauce. Was decent in taste.
Rice and Thai green curry with steamed rice: Good texture, consistency and flavours.
DESSERT:
Darsan with ice cream: Yummy is the only word to describe it.
BEVERAGES:
Kong Mojito, A blend of lemon mint ginger juice was refreshing.
Summer cooler, was very interesting. Served in a tender coconut, it was a Mocktail made with tender coconut water, lime juice, sprite, sweet syrup and a tinge of ginger.
When in a mood to have good veg Asian or Indian or both, this place is a good option.
I had been wanting to try this place from a very long time, having read amazing reviews about it. Today was my lucky day to do so.
Firstly, the menu amused me and what caught my eye was that, it had cuisines varying from Chinese and Thai to North Indian!
We decided to try something from each cuisine and ended up ordering the following on Zomato.
(After a decent long wait, the goodies arrived, neatly packed)
1. Thai Red Curry with Rice -
Could be loaded with a tad more veggies as the gravy was bit too runny. BUT, the taste made up for it.
Certainly, one of the places that actually serves good Thai Red Curry :)
The rice could have been fragrant but again, neglible.
2. Veg Dimsum -
As a Momo lover, wouldn't say it was amazing, but it wasn't disappointing either. Unfortunately, the quantity wasn't enough to enjoy it thoroughly.
3. Singapore Noodles-
Chef's play with the bowl of noodles :)
Fun fact, to enjoy the best version of it, try it with Panneer Rogan Josh. (Not kidding, but not advisable if you hate trying new combinations :p)
4. Laccha Paratha/ Butter Roti-
There was no butter on roti :p
But overall, they were good too.
5. Panneer Rogan Josh-
Yes, we vegetarians too can claim to have had Rogan Josh after this :p Though I believe it's just a variant of Panneer Lababdar or Panneer Tikka Masala, the taste was amazing.
The credit must be given for not only serving good Chinese and Thai cuisine but also for doing justice to the North Indian cuisine.
In the end, it was a great "yummy in my tummy" experience and would definitely try the other items off their menu soon!
Quantity - 3.5/5
Price - 3/5 (A bit pricy)
Quality and Taste - 4/5 (0.5 just for the being thoughtful to include the after-meal fresheners even though it was a delivery)
I personally love the food over here, the starters and soup are amazing. The ambience is pretty nice.
This place is a must visit for veg people who love Chinese food.
ALL ABOUT ASIA
ASIAN AROMA CHENNAI -CHETPET
Can you imagine having the whole of Asia on your plate? Well then, if you’re upto a little spice in your life then Asian Aroma is the best place to visit. Housed in the Chetpet vicinity of Chennai, the restaurant opens to invigorating aromas of Asian leaning. Mr. Rajesh Jain the owner of this restaurant invited me to take the experience at this lovely restaurant. When I walked in I was greeted by a frenzied crowd awaiting their turn. The twenty-seater has been recently expanded and made into a 40 seater to minimize the wait. I wondered what the crowd hovered around so. I stopped a passing customer, and quickly inquired about the food, and I got the most prompt answer stating ‘It is simply delicious and very ORIGINAL’.
I started with the ‘Bao Tofu’. The bread was steamed well and was stuffed with liberal portions of tofu to make it interesting. What is better that inspite of the liberal stuffing, the bao hasn’t gone runny. I also tried the water chestnut variation. That had a tangy twist to it. The later variant is the chef’s special.
The season’s special ‘raw papaya and mango salad’ was simply irresistible. I dipped a few pieces in their homemade peanut butter sauce. The ‘Tandoori Broccoli’ took a refreshing departure from the usual boiled variation. The dish was spiced well, and imparted a wonderful flavour.
The ‘black bean noodles’ were delicious. The beans were fresh, and they didn’t use a canned variation. I loved the flavour of garlic that emanated from the dish. Chef had not made it very pungent. The dish was original and transported me to the regions of South East Asia. I also had the ‘Topped Mandarin Chow’, a double fried noodle topped off with a heady portion of delicious Mandarin sauce. My mains were also accompanied by a ‘Lemon Butter Vegetarian version’. This blended well with the authentically prepared ‘Fried rice’.
I divided my meal into the international and Indian version. I cannot shy from the tempting Indian cuisine. I was delighted to try on soft ‘Laccha Paratha’, and ‘Tandoori Roti’ that was accompanied with the famous ‘Paneer Rogan Josh’ and generous portions of ‘Dal Makhani’.
Chef also suggested that I try the ‘Amritsari Lasooni Paneer Tikka Masala’, (cottage cheese cooked alongside garlic and original hand pounded spices from the land of Punjab. ‘Sabz Banjara’ (A mixed vegetable complete with rich ingredients and garnished with liberal dollops of cream.)
The restaurant was busy the staff was courteous, and I had a wonderful time dining there. I must extend my special thanks to the chef . Manoj sharma who curated the menu, who curated a wonderful meal for me. The food simply transported me to the region of origin, which is something very rare in the Chennai region. I hope to visit Asian Aroma again!
I visited this place on my birthday with my family for a lunch. I decided to go with buffet. They have a great buffet menu which is a great value for your money. The ambience is pleasant with dark interiors with matching cutlery. The buffet food quality is great. The 5 buffet menu for Mon - Fri. Loved their soup. The buffet made me really heavy. The quantity and quality is pretty good. I wasn’t able complete it fully. It is a good place for enjoy authentic Asian aromas in the food. The fragrance and flavours of basil leaves and lemon grass will rejuvenate you. I would like to thank the team of Asian Aroma for providing such a hearty meal. Love Ur work.
good place to eat Royal Veg Chinese restaurant along the Thai and Malaysian event yesterday night Khao suey veg momos vegetable soup small place but very good Chinese restaurant
must be try.
Some of my vegetarian friends often complain about the smell that they have to put up with at non vegetarian restaurants (esp Chinese) and also the risk of being accidentally served non-veg or the problem of their food being cooked in the same kitchen. Worry not, because if you feel like indulging in some spicy Asian food, head over to Asian Aroma, the newest addition to the list of growing Veggie friendly restaurants in Chennai.
Located right next to Grand Sweets on Spurtank road, it shares the space with Ice Kraft which is also happens to be from the same management.
The interiors are quite simple and neat with a monochromatic theme. The place can seat about 35-40.
We started with 2 different soups. One was a Thai soup with vegetables and the other was clear peppery vegetable soup. Enjoyed the former because of the Thai flavourings.
STARTERS
I love dimsums but at Asian Aroma, their Baos were the clear winner. Both the mushroom as well as the water chestnut bao were just great. It was both hot and sweet. MUST TRY!!
I enjoyed the mixed vegetable dimsums than the ones with the mushroom. They were served with peanut sauce and the usual salsa types.
The Chilly Pepper Corn was another favourite. Tiny corn nibbles sautéed in their 5 spice powder makes a good snack. Loved the crunchy semi raw onions in it which enhanced the taste.
The Paneer Tikka was marinated and seasoned very well. The Paneer was very soft and cooked just right. I noticed the quality of paneer that they use in this restaurant is really good.
The hot and sweet Water chestnut was similar to the ones in the boa.
MAIN COURSE
Yellow in colour with the creaminess of the coconut milk, the spicy Malay Noodles was very different. If you are tired of the usual Hakka noodles go for this. My personal favourite.
The Thailand City Chow was another Chef’s special. A generous portion of Thai vegetable curry was topped with a serving of Stir fried noodles. I somehow felt the thai curry and noodles tasted great separately and did not go well together.
The Lasooni Amritsar Paneer Tikka masala was the icing on the cake. It simply topped all the dishes that were served. This Creamy and well seasoned preparation with soft paneer cubes is another must try dishes. Goes so well with the assorted breads. All their rotis or naans were served with a dollop of butter.
The Chilly Basil Fried Rice was also very tasty.
DESSERTS
Fried Ice Cream is kind of mandatory when you visit such Asian restaurants right? So we ordered on of that and the Darsan with Ice Cream. Both desserts were equally good. In case you want to try something different then head over to Ice Kraft in the adjoining space.
IN A NUTSHELL
One of those places where you can just randomly order and never get disappointed. Definitely a great place to head to for a satisfying Vegetarian meal.
We visited Asian aroma bao was excellent n really is a pure vegetarian restaurant n Thai food is very testy food we enjoy the meal n service staffe was awesome keep it up 👌👌👌
Yet another player in the all vegetarian Asian Cuisine, is Asian Aroma in Chetpet.
The entire decor is kept quite simple yet stylish. Service was very prompt and responsive.
The menu consists of the quintessential indo Asian as well as North Indian cuisine hence giving us more options to choose from.
With the scorching sun, it's only right to start the meal with a few mocktails. Summer Cooler which is a tender coconut based mocktail with a hint of citrus and fizz was really refreshing. The others were the usual Lemon Ginger Cooler and Kong Mojito which were good too.
Manchow And Noodles in Atlantic were the soups that we were served. Manchow was quite spicy and sour. On the other hand, noodles in Atlantic was a clear soup with noodles and veggies and both of which were decent.
For starters, the paneer Tikka I can say was the highlight of the day, being super soft, melt in mouth textured with the perfect flavour and marination. The texture of the tofu in Chilli tofu was pretty good too. Water chestnut dimsums, in my opinion, lacked flavour however it was quite soft and delicate. The extremely soft Baos holding a stuffing made of tofu was one of my favourites. Chilli Pepper corn was overall nice but I wouldn't say the best.
Coming to the Main Course we tried few dishes from both Pan Asian and North Indian menus.
The assorted Indian breads were very well made. Paneer Rogan Josh which was one of the accompaniment was creamy and delicious. The Dal Makhani so rich and divine. Definitely going back for some more.
Topped Mandarin Chow, which is crispy fried noodles topped with spicy sauce was my most preferred mains from the Pan Asian section.
Rangoon Chitti Chow which is more of a coconut based noodles dish was good. Thai Green curry with rice was really coconutty and flavourful and made suitable to the Indian palate.
Darsan with Ice cream which is crisy fried honey coated noodles topped with sesame seeds and a scoop of vanilla ice cream was light and just what we needed to end the meal.
This is one of the few all vegetarian places that I've had a great experience dining at and will surely be coming back for some more.
Ambience is subtle yet nice. Food is awesome especially Amritsari Naan, Amritsari Paneer Tikka.
Service is good. Just that servers need to pay little attention to customer.
Went there for a Sunday early lunch, pretty empty. Ordered the dimsums and they were really good. The chilly basil fried rice and hot platter noodle was really filling and had amazing taste. End your meal with tasty hot sizzling brownie.
Great ambience and amazing service.
Asian aroma is a small place in spur tank road with a really nice ambience.the staff were really friendly and helpful.this is chennai's sassiest outlet that serves good Chinese and thai food.it is an ideal pick for a family dinner or for quick fast food eat with your friends.
coming to the food we ordered
tangy and spicy water chestnut - water chestnut which is tossed with tangy spicy sauce are superb.
tofu bao's - this bread is steam n huge in size which is fully loaded with Tofu paneer n topped with lettuce and mayonnaise sauce.
Mandarin noodle- Pan fried noodle with exotic vegetables in very yummy sauce on top which nice too.
so overall Super experience in Asian Aroma. thank you so much guys keep it up...
Asian Aroma is yet another addition to one of the must try pure vegetarian Asian cuisine in Chennai . Especially if you love spicy food , you have your options here . My personal favourites were tossed tofu (coconut based marinade) , Tawa paneer, paneer tikka and baby corn Manchurian. The spicy lung fung soup and the spicy basil rice lived upto their names and they were quite very spicy . Personally I couldn’t eat more than half my actual capacity . Would suggest that the spice levels be lower . The paneer and tofu preparation here are at their best . For the Chinese food lovers , they have got some delicious momos and bao . Their dessert menu is very brief and a Darsan is something to try out. Good service and great ambiance . The visibility of this place could be improved and there could be some direction boards placed to help customers find their way into the restaurant .

few days ago I visit pure vegetarian restaurant Asian aroma with my sister & friend the had mouth watering Asian food we had soup noodles in Atlintic mediam spicy watering clear with noodles garlic and lime flavour next to staters some new Sweet and tangi waterchesnut awesome different to taste spicy bao and main course Thai curry with stimed rice
very good food and service in restaurant maximum 40 pax can set one time surely I will come in my future location Spur Tank Road Chetpet Chennai 31 nearly grand sweet
Being a pure NON vegetarian, it was quite a surprise for me when my friend called me here. Even though the restaurant is a few metres from where I stay this was the first time I was there.
We started off with the Soup. Spicy lung fung soup, they mentioned that it was their specialty there and I must say that I was happy. It was not too thick and not too watery just perfect with delicious wild mushrooms.
Now for the starters, we had Grilled Paneer, Sweet and tangy water chestnut, Tossed tofu and fried baby corns. Of these tossed tofu and chestnut were something new and interesting with lots of flavors. The grilled paneer deserves a special mention, although the dish is not new the paneer in it was extra soft and a bit crisp on the outside.
Next on the list were momos (mixed veg, mushroom and water chestnut), mixed veg bao, basil rice and yummy noodles. The texture and the thickness of the momos were just perfect and each had it's own flavors. They have tried to maintain the authenticity to their best. This is the first time I m having bao and I wasn't disappointed, it was delicious with super soft bun and crunchy flavorful filling. The basil rice with the basil gravy and the yummy noodles were also good. My friends felt the rice and gravy were spicy for them but we felt it was perfect and the red pepper gave an extra liking for the dish.
Apart from this we also had naan and laacha paratha with the yummy tawa paneer.
When we think of Asian food it doesn't include Indian generally but these guys took the Asian word a lil too literally and so they had Indian as well.
Coming to the dessert. A traditional Chinese dessert, Chinese darsan (crunchy noodle strips) with ice cream. I felt that was a bit too sweet.
There s an ice cream parlour adjoined to the restaurant where charcoal and cold stone based Ice creams are served. The varieties are great but the taste, not so much. They could really improve in the ice cream section.
Overall a must try restaurant for everyone. Not just vegetarians, even the meat eaters Will love the place as the dishes there were great and won't disappoint you.

Asian Aroma is an Asian Vegetarian restaurant where we had specialty Asian dishes including rotis, and choice of north Indian subjis. The term Asian somehow rings Chinese to us and though they had mouth watering Chinese dishes, it was the Roti and Tawa Paneer along with Paneer Tikka that stole the show. It is located on Mayor Ramanathan Road in Chetpet closer to the Eco Park.
So we happened to see pure vegetarian CHINESE restaurant which are usually few in numbers, thanks to that😊 we ordered crispy vegetables with Honey 🍯 sauce as entree and it was mind blowing then for the mains we ordered veg Basil 🌿 fried rice 🍛 which was yummy 🤤 . Overall the food was really good. And I request all of you to try this new Chinese restaurant in the city 🌃. Enjoy
Was there last week. Great ambience, maybe around 30 seats got filled up in no time
Had hot and sour soup, panner Tika and Malaysian noodles. excellent food . lighting not so bright. display board not visible even for someone like me who goes by the road many times a day. had to call to find the location.
Hello,
It's been long long time since I posted review, but have visited multiple places at multiple places in India. With no more delay now. Let's move ahead.
I visited this place on Sunday evening. Was searching for some new place to visit and try out something new.
Location: This place lies on spurtank road and shares wall with ice kraft. Had parking for car (1-2). And few bike can be parked.
Ambience: This place have adopted dark theme with seating of almost 40-44 ppl. The logo of Asian Aroma looks good. And this place have also gone with industrial look. Which is something found at many places. Something new should have been done. But it still looks good.
Food: We tried only two items. One was Crispy chilly veg and next was Thailand city chow. Former is really good and it's worth a try. Do not compare that with flower drum corn cornet. And as my partner didn't want rice or noodles along with gravy poured on top. I had to choose the later one. It has high content of vegetable and thick taste of coconut. Something new and fine.
Conclusion: This place is worth a try. Try eating new items and try new places. Cause #ItsOneLifeAllYouGot #FoodisLife #KhaneKeLiyeJiyo

Like there weren't enough vegetarian places coming up already, Asian Aroma is already on top of my list. Reason being, first, it's pure veg, second it serves brilliant Chinese and North Indian at the same time (which is sort of hard to find)
On the Spurtank Road, not very difficult to locate, Asian Aroma is the new baby that's doing pretty well already! Owned by the same group as Privé, Asian Aroma serves some real good Chinese and North Indian.
we started off the meal with soup but since I'm not a big fan of soups, I moved to starters straight away.
Loved the Veg Dimsums, Waterchest Nut Baos, Crispy Baby Corn, and Thai Malai Noodles the most.
The Baos are so perfectly done. Usually while eating a bao, the filling is less and you end up eating plain bao but it's not the case here. there's enough filling.
For the Indian Main Course, I loved their Lehsuni Amritsari Paneer with the naan. just couldn't get enough of it at all!
fried ice cream for the dessert is a must try.
parking available but a bit of broken road, gotta be careful.
loved the service, and Ambience.

The most courteous staff! The mandarin and soft noodles were really good. The welcome drink, is a must try. A reservation is a must . Overall, good experience.
Being the Asian cuisine buff I am , I was super excited to try Asian Aroma at Chetpet next to grand sweet snacks on spurtank road. Simple decor with dark walls , wooden chairs and good music is their ambiance.
We had a full fledged 4 course meal. Little Chinese, Malay , Japanese , Thai and North Indian as well.
SOUPS :
🍴Thai spice clear soup - Spicy vegetable clear with a lot of vegetables. I would have loved it if it did not have mushrooms.
🍴Veg peppery soup - Fresh vegetables in veg clear with pepper and garlic. Simple yet delicious.
STARTERS :
🍴Dimsums - We ordered veg and mushrooms. Veg dimsums were steamed and stuffed well. The dips served along were interesting , a salsa variant , peanut and coriander and the usual chilly garlic. I enjoyed my dimsums with peanut dip.
🍴Baos - Water chestnut and mushroom baos again. Water chestnuts were sautéed well but anyhow it did not suit my palate. However others liked the mushroom baos as well.
🍴Chilly proper corn - American corn coated with corn starch and sautéed its veggies. This is one of my favourite. Was crispy but could have been more spicier.
🍴Crackling spinach - Spinach leaves batter fried and topped with garlic. Crispy and light although it was fried. Must try if you’re looking to experimenting.
🍴 Crispy water chestnuts -
🍴 Paneer tikka -
MAINS:
🍴Spicy Malay noodles - Flavours of lemongrass , butter and spicy to the point. I relished this a lot.
🍴Thai Chity Chow and Chilli basil fried rice with gravy - Thai chity chow were noodles in a nice tangy coconut gravy with veggies. Chilli basil fried could have been bit more spicier and flavourful for my liking.
🍴Lasuni Amritsari Paneer tikka- Just so delicious paneer tikkas in a nice creamy and lasuni gravy, garlic naan complimented it so well , so did the lacha parathas. Their paneer is super soft, make sure to try something of it.
DESSERTS :
🍴Darsaan - Honey noodles with vanilla ice cream. These flat noodles were as crispy as they could be and garnished with sesame seeds as well.
🍴Fried ice cream - Ice cream balls batter quoted and fried , topped with nuts. The ice cream had melted down a bit. It tasted good tho.
The cost for two would be around 800 - 1000.
It’s that place you can hit to devour Asian food in a pure vegetarian restaurant at your comfort. Not to forget, their North Indian is amazing as well , which is not the case in other restaurants.
Went here yesterday with my Bestie as she's a vegetarian I decided to stop by here. I was bit confused when I entered as we go to ice kart from there Asian aroma have an entrance. I was here around 2:30pm nobody was there and we came out by 3:30 yet nobody came. I gotta say you guys are missing out delicious food from here.
Interior was really nice with friendly staff. Ordered mushroom bao, water chestnut dumpling and topped mandarin chow. Dumpling were soft and delicious with five pieces. Boa i can taste the crispy mushrooms it was the best. Coming to noodles needless to say how awesome it was and the serving was appropriate.
Value for money. Definitely gonna back to try out other varieties.
Asian aroma this place deserves its name title, this is a pure veg restaurants which serves pure Chinese and Indian food. Been started couple of days back this one grabbed my attention. I was bit hesitated to visit this place since it’s a veg place. After trying their food I was so damn happy, this veg place just satisfied my food carving with their delicious food.
A vegetarian Asian restaurant. Thats how mimicked the concept is. The restaurant shares roof with ice Kraft on Spur tank road. They are located right on the main road and hard to miss given the signage size. Parking is a bit sloppy, for a restaurant that could seat about 70 people that car park is not sufficient.
EDIT: They have a basement carpark that's predominantly empty on holidays and a valet to suffice the crowd on weekends and holidays. For the operating table room of 40 diners, the basement and roadside parking work fine, giving additional room during party times.
Interiors were plain and low lit. There's one signage if their logo the two As and one seemingly big art of a Chinese dragon. Other than that the lighting was on the low side with the walls almost void of any more decor. A touch of it would add up to the ambiance multifolds.
Food in a nutshell is a mix of Asian and north Indian. Soups let us as low as possible to start with. I had the Thai spice soup with low laid spice and stock (Edit- I had it assumed to be hot n sour, so the spice level is pretty less compared to the hot n sour). Starters brought it up a bit out for the lot. Momos to start off, waterchestnut momos is something new. Served in bamboo box that's more fresh than the momos, these dumplings were as good as the street vendors in other cities (in a very positive tone). Momos were sided with newer sauces which I've not pretty much seen in other places. Baos are another thing, I liked the fluffy bun (unlike the thick soggy ones served in almost every other place) and an exact amount of filling that turned into them. They were delicious considering the amount of juicy filling which was ruined by mayo that topped and went on the sides with. That's a Chinese immigrant in the US of A. There were innumerous batter fried with chestnuts, vegetables, corn(fritters) and a spinach. Seemed okay nothing to rave about here, the spinach one was a bit too oily and got a bit hard within minutes after it reached the table. Of all that's served was out plated by the paneer tikka. Juicy tender paneer with sparse malai toppings spiked in the tandoor. I loved the garlic flavoured raitha on the side which supplements the much needed garlic punch to the tikka.
Sliding slowly into main course, we were served a mix of Thai, Malay and Chinese. Thai city chow was a bomb of coconut from the first bite which was a noodle served over a Thai curry. I liked the way coconut's sweetness was tempered to suit the plate. A little bit more seasonings to add up to the sweetness of coconut and cream wouldn't do the dish any bad. Malay noodles and Thai fried rice were off my charts and liking. They were made to the stereotypes and tasted edible, not my thing. To balance out was some naans and paneer lasuni. The paneer definitely could have taken some more spice. Was pretty much bland to me. Breads were a relish with an addition scoop of butter, wonder if the same is served on every plate.
Desserts merely made it on the list. Compared to the extravaganza of the entire menu, it's good to end it with decent dessert. Dharshan was well made which bettered almost all of my previous experiences. The noodle was crisp and soft and thin just enough to absorb the glazing and sweetness and still being light on the bite, it went way too good with the ice-cream which was stored at the right temperature, no frost running out there I could see. There was the fried ice-cream, which not a lot of places could master and yeah, these were good. I liked the thin crust that didn't get the biting too much, and ice-cream was good enough to go along.
Service was good, the fact that we were the only bunch in the restaurant and the owner dined along with us being an exception, this kind of service where the waiters clear tables and refill glasses so promptly is much appreciated. With a glance at their menu I presume they are priced a notch below the regular Chinese places. The service and quality for this price is a sure steal. The question though is will they stand the test of time?
Parking - 4/5
Food - 3.5/5
Service -3.5/5
Ambiance - 3/5
This place looks as elegant as its name sounds. This place is located right next to 'Icekraft'. I went there with my friends last week for dinner. I had less hopes about going there because we all have come across places that serve Indian version of Asian food and they are not quite interesting.
Have to say, this place stood up above my expectations and I literally had complaints while coming out. Greyish themed interiors separate them from the stereotypical asian red and green.
Coming to the food and service, the service was very quick and responsive. We started off with clear soup which was rather very good.
What we tried:
Veg, mushroom dimsums
Crispy chilli corn
Paneer rolls
Water chestnut, mushroom baos
Crispy spinach (craving for some right now)
Tangy & spicy water chestnut
Spicy Malai noodles
Thai city Chow
Thai basil rice
Each and every dish was equally delicious. However, my favorites were everything starting from Bao's.
Dessert:
Fried ice cream
Pasant and ice cream
To sum up my experience, I loved this place and would recommend to anyone looking for an asian and Indian restaurant. Yes, you read it right they serve Indian cuisine too. No fusion, nothing..
The experience at Asian Aroma was one of a kind and in a wonderful way. With a name 'Asian' as part of the restaurant, I expected it to be predominantly of the South East Asian spread such as Chinese, Japanese, Thai etc but surprisingly they also added in a few North Indian to cater to the term Asia. And mind you, these were not just to fit the numbers but they happened to be resoundingly good.
The ambiance is fairly simple. Greyed surroundings with few wall arts define the place. It's located in a nice little place in Chetpet and next door you have the ice cream outlet 'Icekraft'. We began with 2 forms of soup viz the veg peppery soup and the Tom Yum soup both which ruled the roost. I loved the delightful shaving of pepper in the former which added to the spice quotient.
Then on we were hitting the dimsums and we tried the traditional veg as well as the mushroom based ones. These were quite good but I wouldn't anywhere place them to be spectacular. Next up was the first Indian twist of the night with the Panneer Tikka. This was jaw dropping delicious. Didn't really expect it from mostly a chinese restaurant. It was that good with the softness of the cottage cheese melting in the mouth and they also added a dolce of peanuts in the side bottom which enhanced the taste. We also got a lovely garlic dip im addition to the usual green chutney. Next up was the chilli pepper corn which going by it's name was crispy and infused with the right spices. Similar to this was the water chestnut based appetiser which was equally good. The fried spinach battered dish was another top notch product. The steamed Bao's were another major head turner. They were incredibly smooth and contained just the right amount of stuffings with the adequate juiciness. Both the mushrooms as well as water chestnuts lorded the show.
Then on the main course we tried a chopsuey based dish which was really good with veggies stacked along with abundance of flavours. The Malaysian noodles had a strong flowery aroma which was immensely likeable. The basil fried rice also was done up right. In the north Indian section, the breads were really well made and the Lasooni Amritsari panner tikka masala completely stole the show. Cubes of cottage cheese cooked in an onion and garlic gravy with mild sweetness was simply remarkable.
We ended the evening with desserts in the form of darsan with ice cream and fried ice cream. Going along expectant lines, this also passed the test with flying colours. The service was amiable and friendly. The rates are par for the course.
Make no mistake, Asian Aroma is a delightful veg restaurant down the alley of Chetpet. They serve an eclectic spread which is guaranteed to appease your taste buds.
Such a lovely place wow service and authentic asian food tom yum soup ,thai curry ,pan fried noodle ,pineapple rice was their amazing dishes lovely food.
Nice restaurant with a variety of Asian and Indian food. Flavors are excellent and the quality of food is high. Gets busy after 8. Attentive staff.
Food was excellent..Service,Ambience,food hits a five star..The momos were extremely soft ,served piping hot and taste gud..The cashew cauliflower starter was yummy..Paneer Tikka was out of the world.
Good vegeterian multi cuisine restaurant with Chinese, Thai, North Indian cuisine..
Buffet cost was reasonable with very selective menu covering all cuisine available in the restaurant..
Papaya Thai Salad would be simple and really good...Other dishes taste was good..
Overall good vegeterian experience..
After some research on vegitarian restaurant landed up at Asian Aroma for lunch didn't regret making this decision, wonderful and calm ambience. By the time we reached place was not crowded and we were asked to choose our own table. We choose a table with road view and got seated there. Food was very tasty served with the lightening speed service.
Food was really awesome. Unexpected after Flower Drum this is one who is gonna make people happy for Thai n Chinese Food, as well tandoori Lover's can enjoy Indian Breads with wow starter's.. Panner Tikka was yummy....
I usually find dining in restaurants a chore. My family prefers North Indian over other stuff, whereas I am open to experimentation. I wanted to give them a lil' break from the usual.
In Asian Aroma, I had gone through all their courses from soup, starters, north Indian, Chinese and desert. I felt so good after eating the food. It was the right portion sizes, their signature dish has got to be the water chestnut starter.
All in all it was a pleasant experience and the cost came to about 600 per head, which was quite reasonable.
The best food I had in recent times. We tried both Chinese and Tandoori and it was just awesome especially starters. I'll say this is the must try restaurant. Ambience was good, service was excellent, staff were very friendly. This restaurant deserves full points.

Coming to the location this place is located in chetpet right next to icekraft, quite easy to find it with Google maps.
Ambiance of the place pretty neat, seating arrangements were too good and it was comfortable.
Coming to the food:
Starters:
Vegetable peppery soup:
Finely minced veggies which perfectly cooked and server with hot pepper soup, it’s was so good.
water chestnuts dimsum:
Been the big fan of dimsum this gave me a pleasant feel, still it’s not the best one which I had till now. I personally felt outer layer was little thick, still with chestnuts it was good.
Boa’s :
waterchest nut boa’s:
one the best boa I ever had till now, it’s was so soft and juicy, they were too generous with the stuffing, I was able to sense the water-chest nut till the last bite. it was mild and sweet, they have sweetened the water-chest nut with honey. loved it
panner tikka:
Must try food here 😁, one of the best panner tikka I ever had, they have marinated it we’ll even they had a cashew nut stuff. wow it’s went so well. panner was so soft and fluffy loved it. Never miss it 😍
Main course:
Loosani Amristar panner tikka:
Again hats off to the chef for serving us the mouth watering panner, gravy was so rich and flavorful loved the way they presented it too. it went so well with butter roti and garlic nan.
Desserts:
Darsan with ice cream:
This one is corn based chips dulcified with honey and they serve it with vanilla ice-cream, I recommend you to wait for a while till the whole ice-cream melts and mix it with darsan. You will love it for sure
Fried ice cream:
Outer layer was perfectly cooked it was crispy, it’s was so perfect. Loved it
Overall I can rate them 4/5
