Elegantly designed cafe serving delicious food. We had a red velvet pancake , chicken burger and a veg burger all tasted great. Service too was friendly and quick...
Well, sometimes taking time out to read other reviews does shape your perception and your own expectation as to how a review should shape up .
Reading some of the other reviews made me feel the place has oscillating fortunes and mixed views , with its own share of accolades and criticism.
So I'd like to take this issue on a war footing and produce a review that's objective , and one that people can relate to with something to take away .
The ambience , has scathing comments about it being simple with no frills. So this comes from the expectation of having something lavish. For starters , the place is neat , and in order , with the tables being well spaced out. Nothing fancy , simple white theme as far as the tables and chairs are concerned. A slightly annoying pillar comes in between to shape the aesthetics but the management has done well to create it as a station or pit stop for crockery, plates and so on. It shouldn bother you , if you are there for the food , but nevertheless it's comfortable, neat and by and large should suffice for a cafe
As to the service , a couple of staff who one must say are largely active , could be even more receptive and on the look out for a few aggrieved or vexed customers!!!!! I found them to be a tad slow ,but courteous. Could be nice if they can sport a smile and be more warm and hospitable. The food came on time and so did the desserts. No complaints there really.
Let's get down to dissect the quality , spread , taste and pricing of the food. Again reviews widely vary , and big differences unearth. But then to each his own , and something that the management can work on in terms of some complaints.
The spread is decent with sandwiches ,burgers , pastas and salads, which come with options for both the plant eater and the carnivore . An array of desserts to add to this.
Getting specific, and the first mention must go to the " goeey chocolate" that's truly seductive. It seduces you with the long flowing nature , the chill or frozen touch to it , the beaker that houses it and the way it simply melts in your mouth. Not too sweet as well, it's easily my benchmark for anything "chocolate " as a dessert. My irrational excitement in writing about the dessert first must add testimony to it being the pick of it all ! It's pricey , that's an accusation but then good things do tend to be so. Besides, can rants and accusation make managements bring prices down?
We had the cheesy fries as starter and a panel tikka sandwich and vegetable burger as main course. Absolutely nothing to crib about. The patty that the burger had tasted perfect without an overdose of "aloo/potato" . The panel tikka sandwich is more like a club sandwich with three layers and generous stuffing of paneer ! Statutory warning to those on a diet or wanting to head downhill with their calories. The cheesy fries is a perfect accompaniment to the above too. The liquefied or molten cheese in yellow dripping from the sides , make it a no brainer for a fries fan.
This review shouldn't end with heaps of praises, and feel like a paid job!!!! (No,it's not). The tomatoes cut into tiny pieces and spread over the cheesy fries seems like an attempt to put the goodness to rest and dampen the spirits of the cheese and the hit and crisp fries. Now , please do something to stop this. And once you are done , you could contemplate as to the pricing which does seem a tad lofty with regard to the immediate competitors. A good experience and a happy tummy does shield all this , but a bad day can make you be at the receiving end of a bullets on the pricing front.
Cant get over of coming here again and again....
and The mesmerizing taste of the RED VELVET CAKES....goddd its tooo heavenly...
in short A MUST VISIT PLACE...
This place is really in the best location with cute ambience.
Their mac and cheese is to die for. ♥️ The best ever mac and cheese in town but a bit costly for the quantity provided.
Also tried ramen cutlets which was pretty decent.
Should try their desserts next time 😌
Soft, spongy layers of happiness
Signature dish of the shop
Red velvet pancake with
Maple syrup and cream 😋
Crisp cafe is one place I keep turning up very often simply to have their gooey chocolate. I don't know why it has taken so long for me to write a review on them. Visited them this time to have desserts but ended up ordering main dish too...
Ordered gooey chocolate, red velvet pancake and chilli beef with herbed rice.
The gooey chocolate and the red velvet pancakes as usual satiated our dessert cravings❣️
This was the first time I had chilli beef over here and it was delicious😍
The bill was around 800 for three dishes. Totally vfm

The place is quite easy to find and has quite inviting exteriors. Inside of the cafe is not amazing as such but not too bad either.
Coming to food, I ordered aglio olio spaghetti. And it was SO delish I cant even. 🍝
The gooey chocolate was okay, given I'm not that fond of chocolate.
I was so full on the spaghetti I couldn't try the red velvet pancakes.
Definitely going back for more.
P.s. the portions were quite large and fulfilling.

Calming and interesting interiors, good locality. Food and service are good. It’s a calm space to relax and refresh your mind. Gooey chocolate was my favourite. I had Chicken lasagna too which was also delicious
I tried this cafe couple of times with my friends in sterling road.Staff is courteous and music is apt and not loud metal etc.Perfect ambience to have conversations.Coming to the food, we placed order for Fish n chips, classic chicken wings,Caesar salad,Pepper sauce,Latte.Food delivered in reasonable time.Must try this place if you like European cuisine and you will not be disappointed.Check out the pics below.
Please introduce more variety of dips to add flavor.😊👍
Had a spicy chicken burger, bbq sausages, lemon crusted chicken and a brookie. Enjoyed the fare and ambience. Worth a visit, if you’re passing through Nungambakkam!
This cafe is in sterling road , where I could see this during my travelling . Since I got some leisure time , I opted this restaurant for lunch . Finding the location of this cafe won't be tough , since it is located in the main road and even has a decent parking facility.
Speaking about food and ambience ! Ambience was top notch , gotto love it ! It was a calm place to dine , since it was noon there wasn't much crowd . We ordered chicken club sandwich , classic veg sandwich and finally fish & chips ! Speaking about sandwich it was served with fries , and consistency was really good . Fish & chips was my favourite , gotto love it . It was damn good .
It will be interesting if they try to bring some additional offers and attractive deals , since you have got lot of colleges nearby and as far as students have concerned , they will look for attractive deals and offers . If the restaurant try to make up with it , it will fetch some additional customers to them !
Cost was pretty decent ! It was worth for penny paid there . Overall it was a great experience being there ❤
Crisp cafe serves the best Red velvet pancakes in town. 😍❤️🔥
Jamaican chicken grill 👌
Pleasant place to hangout.

Asir Jefferson !
To the best combination of chicken beef and lamb the meat lovers mix is an astounding trio. The dessert menu was quite interesting with a state of the art menu, salted caramel and white chocolate freeze is a definite try.
A nice place to hangout with friends. Redvelvet Pancakes are their signature dish. The cappuccino and mocha was also good. The quantity was also huge. For the pancakes they give cream dip and maple syrup and it was amazing! A must try place! :)
Ambience was quite good . We ordered chicken lasagna and clubbed chicken sandwitch .. it took several minutes for the order to come .. but the taste was awesome . Lasagna was properly layered and tasted good . Chicken sandwitch was much more than expectation .. their cream and cheese where so fresh and good . It tasted awesome
The food was good. Loved the guava fizz. Pesto was a little heavy, but good. Cheesy fries got a bit soggy, so ask for the dip on the side. Red velvet pancakes were good. Light and fluffy.
Overall - good ambience, courteous staff, good food! ☺️
Yea it’s a grt place to eat ! Shakes are simply superb. Had lovely time . Loved to go once more ! The sandwiches and burgers are really good ! Mexican burger was simply superb .
Finally I could visit this place ♥️😍

The best place if you want to spend time with your loved ones. Really tasty food.. we have visited multiple times and have not disappointed even single time. They maintain the quality and taste for long years. Our fav one is Veg lasagne and Creamy Pesto penne pasta.. wow every time these 2 will definetly be thr in our order and then try other new dishes also.. Great friendly staff, neat and nice ambience with light music is added advantage.
Located on an easily accessible road, Crisp Cafe is a sweet place to be. Colourful walls and friendly staff are a bonus to the delicious food they serve. I found the service to be friendly and efficient.
Ordered a caesar’s salad which was very tasty. The vegetables were fresh and the sauces very flavourful and chicken pieces cooked to perfection. To cut the long story short, i loved the food.
Washed it down with a lychee fizz from the menu which was also good. For dessert i had chocolate walnut brownie which was truly yummy. It is hard for a person to finish one whole brownie alone as it is very rich. If you are a brownie lover, I would surely recommend this to you. If you aren’t i would still recommend it, cause you might start loving brownies!
Keep up the good service!
Bon apetit!
Read the review only if you have a sweet tooth😊. Visited this place now twice this year only by a friend's rave review on red velvet pancakes.. total worth of money for the quality and quantity offered. It comes hot and the smell of pancakes knocks u out. Me and my friend were feeling full by time we finished chicken lasagne and pancakes . We loved it .. the ambience is perfect for big group of friends or a quiet place for loved ones. Will be back to try the rest of the menu.
I had heard alot about this place so finally decided to go here! Nice interiors, the shakes are great as well! Do try their red velvet pancakes! 🥞

I pass by this cafe very often and I finally decided to check it out after shopping at Diva. It's a small and cozy cafe with quirky posters and table mats. Love their one-liners!
Coming to the food... We had ordered four mains:
Chicken lasagne - soft, creamy and had a melt in your mouth experience. But I wish they had incorporated the tomato sauce in the lasagne as that's how a proper lasagne should be.
Fish and chips - This was my personal favourite. Fresh, crispy, yummy and leaves you wanting more.
Jamaican grill chicken - chicken was juicy and succulent and went well with the sauce...grilled veggies and mashed potato were great accompaniments.
Chicken stir fry noodles - There was nothing special about this dish. Found it a tad spicy but yum.
A bit pricy but this place is definitely worth a try!
Found it listed as a good place for a beef steak in Chennai so visited to test the fare
Location: Couldn't be better, Parking space for about 3 cars but more can be accommodated in Kothari road
Ambience: Well lit with space between tables. One has a choice between chairs or sofas. Minimalist design but works well. The catch phrases on the posters will bring s smile to any foodie
Food: We tried the Cure- an all day breakfast platter which had an absolutely gorgeous omellete, so good that we ordered another...The rest were a few shades off ending with Hash browns which should have been renamed Ash browns which would have described the taste or lack of it...They should replace that with mashed potato. We also had the barbecue beef steak which tasted good. Slightly disappointed with it coming well done, when we had asked for medium but the barbecued veges and mash potato more than made up for it.
Verdict: A place to visit again because we still have a lot on the menu to try:)
I wasn't planning to visit this place yesterday. I went to Konica colour lab to get some prints and they informed it'll take 1 hour to complete the order.
Just to kill some time I was searching for nearby places and it's just 5 mins walk from there. It seems to be sub part of cake walk, crisp Cafe is on first floor.
I ordered red velvet pancakes took 10 - 15mins but it's worth it so I'm gonna let it slide. Coming to taste it's simply amazing. Value for money, nothing spl about interiors though.
Well, I’m surprised. The food was such a knock out and I didn’t expect that.
Where to begin ? I guess I’ll go with the food first. Scrumptious and well executed, the highlight was the chicken lasagne and I enjoyed every bite of it. I’ve had lasagnes from different places and I guess this tops the list. The ambience is wonderful. The peaceful and open aura along with the good view was enough to make the meal a pleasure. Service was exemplary, moderate pricing and what not. All of these makes a good package which is totally worth trying.
I can’t wait to visit again!
I tried Frencheese which is deep fried sandwich with cheese, sundried tomatoes and olives which were cut very small. It wasn't spicy and not oily too. It was flavoursome. The cake shake disappointed me a bit. The flavour was really yum but it was too icy and very sweet. I feel less sugary would have been better. Overall, a really nice café with cool decór. I am sure to visit again for more.
This cafe is famous for their pastries and they serve pretty good red velvet pancakes. Their non-vegetarian starters are good. Ambience is pleasant. As it’s located at the heart of the city it’s difficult for one to miss this cafe.
Wanted to have Italian for dinner in a quite place and chose this outta the few that popped in my head.
Orders:
Fiery meatballs: when you see meatballs in the menu, just order. There’s no questioning that thought which goes ding!
5 well made meatballs with super hot sauce (yay) was place in front of me within 10 mins. It was piping hot. I loved the texture of the minced meat. And it tasted yum too. INR 250/-
Chicken lasagna: the reason why I even checked the starters section was cause they didn’t have beef lasagna! Moving on... the lasagna was better than the meatballs.
It’s not the usual prep which screams ‘I taste good cause I’m loaded with cheese’ types. It had adequate amounts of cheese, was loaded with minced chicken and cooked to perfection with the right amount of herbs. Loved it to bits. INR 340/-
Total bill: 620/- incl GST. Worth the tag :)
Service was quick and efficient.
Drawbacks: portion of the food is less even for an average eater.
First day in Chennai and the place welcomed us well with great food ! Go for the gooey chocolate shake to satiate your cravings and that much needed weekend endorphin blast ! Will definitely recommend !!
This place has great ambience and staff are friendly. I ordered for a vegetable lasagne, redvelvet pancakes and goey chocolate. The lasagne was very good. The pancakes were served along with maple syrup and creamcheese and it tasted exotic. The goey chocolate is a shake basically but has to be eaten with a spoon but it too tatsed very nice and topped with choco chips.
Definitely a five star restaurant! My friend and I went and we ordered the frenchees, lasagne, pan seared paneer, iced tea and had red velvet pancakes which came with a side of cream cheese frosting and maple syrup as desert.
The Frenchees is a must try! It's crunchy on the incident and amazingly soft and decadent on the inside.
Lasagne was quite cheesy and delicious!
The pan seared paneer was quite dense, wasn't fluffy, definitely preferred the lasagne more, but it still tasted good.
The iced tea was really good and refreshing. A great palate cleanser between meals.
The red velvet pancakes were the perfect way to end the meal.
The service was quite fast and the waiter we had was really nice. Would definitely go again! Forgot to take pics of the lasagne and the paneer because we got crazy excited to dig in.

First time visit. The place and the interiors looked very minimal and sophisticated.
We ordered Chicken Caesar salad, Cheesy Fries and Red Velvet pancake.
The Caesar salad is one of the better salads you can get in Chennai. Much better than Basil with a twist.
The Cheesy fries tasted good. Nothing particularly fascinating about it.
The Red Velvet pancake was a winner. I've never heard of a cafe/restaurant offering it in Chennai. It is super soft, fluffy and tastes really good with the cream and maple syrup spreads. A must try!
Crisp cafe was suggested by one of my friends for a meet up. Though I was very familiar with this area, I took time to locate and reach here ( my bad).
Ambience - nice and cozy place with a very well set decor and chairs.
Food - we ordered cheesy fries with salsa, fish croquettes, pesto pasta and lemon crusted chicken.
The food took some time to be served , and we dint mind that cos we got so much time to sit and chit chat. The place had 2-3 groups apart from us.
Food was good and served well.
We were totally full and dint have any desserts😬
Definitely coming to this place again❤️
Dish : Chicken lasagne, Salted caramel & White chocolate freeze shake
This is the second time I am visiting this place with a friend of mine in two years. That is definitely a long time and a lot had changed since my last visit here with regards to the menu and the food. It is situated in Sterling road right above Cake walk. Parking is available for around 4 or 5 cars just below the property and few more down the road. The ambience is something which is to be mentioned here. It is calm, serene and has an upscale touch attached to it. Everything from the furniture to the interiors of the place and the quirky food quotes spell class. I and my friend visited this place in the afternoon and it was quite empty. The staffs were very courteous and warm. They have a well laid out menu and on the recommendation from the waiter, ordered #ChickenLasagne and a #SaltedCaramel white chocolate freeze. The salted caramel freeze shake arrived first. It looked so delicious with bits of #WhiteChocolate smeared on the top. I thought to myself that I would just taste a spoon and then have the rest after I was done with the main course. But once I started having the white chocolate, I couldn’t stop until I was halfway through. It was that yummy. After a few minutes the chicken lasagne arrived piping hot and boy was I blown just looking at it. It looked every inch the dish you would feel guilty about having it. The dish was awesomely layered and creamy and with every mouthful of the dish I and my friend were only relishing it more and more. The lasagne was truly worth its price. And it is definitely a must-try dish at this place. All the dishes were priced reasonably. Would recommend this place for the ambience and food.
Had an amazing dinner, the beef steak was well cooked. The desserts were just mouth-watering. Service and ambience is really appreciable, might burn a hole in your pocket though
So I had four dishes over here.
1. Red velvet pancake ( yes, the signature dish of this place ) —— > personally I couldn’t complete it. But the taste was good.
2. Gooey chocolate milkshake ( signature dish according to me 😛) ——> creamy and yummy. Way too thick. Loved it.
3. Oriental chilli chicken tortilos ——> basically it was a chappati role. But the stuffings was yum.
4. Crunchy cookie shake ( forgot the full name) ——> okayish. Little blunt.

After Watching #Raazi Movie,I was hungry to have a sip of coffee along with some sides.
1) Cafe Latte ~ Sipped it After a long time And was awesome. Nice quantity as well.
2) Magic Masala Chicken ~ Was Easily one of the most exciting picks as suggested by. Tasted well with the sauces and veggies. Pick of The EATOut without any doubt.
3) Fish & Chips ~ Usual stripe of Fish nicely applied battered. Just loved the shape and was huge to savour. Another Pick Of The EATOut.
4) Beef Club Panini ~ Nicely streaked pieces of Beef with some veggies layered on thin layered bread was great. Was quite heavy considering The appearance factor.
Ambience ~ Nice Ambience With almost near decors.
Service ~ Great Service considering only 2-3 were in the Cafe To EAT. Suggestions were also on point.
Hygiene ~ All the tables, chairs and cutleries were neatly maintained.
Washroom ~ The washroom was OK but can be maintained well.
Overall -
On point place for long conversations wit your loved ones, script discussion And Etc. And also great Coffee With Sides is Main✌🏼!
I’ve been to this place for a couple of times now just for their red velvet pancakes. This place is quiet and less crowded most of the times making it a perfect setting for a peaceful breakfast. Their oriental chicken wings were decent and so were the bruschettas. Do not forget to check out their dessert counter!

I visited this place with a few my friends for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. There was pretty much no crowd. Which was a good thing for us. Lets get started with the review,
-->STARTERS- We ordered herb crusted chicken, oriental wings. The wings was very spicy and good. And the dip that came along was amazing as well. The herb crusted chicken was on the okayish side.
-->DRINKS- We ordered a goey shake and a lemon iced tea. Both were amazing. But the goey shake was extraordinary!
-->MAINS- We ordered a couple of mains. A mac and cheese pasta, chicken tortillas, jamaican grilled chicken, chicken lasagne and fish and chips.
The mac and cheese was on the okay side. The colour of the pasta was unappetizing. Chicken tortillas was good. Jamaican grilled chicken, the gravy was really good and the chicken was cooked to perfection. We like it soo much. Fish and chips, it was soo crunchy and yummy. Chicken lasagne ia a thumbs up as well.
-->DESSERTS- Since, we were so full we just ordered their signature red velvet pancakes for dessert. And it was AMAZINGGG 🎉
Overall, i had a great experience and i would love to visit again. 💕 especially, for their pancakes 😍
Ordered a mexican chicken burger, red velvet pancakes and Lavash from this beautiful place!
The burger: A chicken patty with a slight mexican twist! Absolutely gorgeous.
A beautiful marriage between the buns, patty and spices.
Pancakes: A great yummy twist to the classic pancakes! This is surely something to crave for. Also, the cream cheese frosting was delicious and had me wanting more of it. The maple syrup, not too sweet, tasted wonderful with the pancakes.
Lavash: A vegetarian starter option available here.
It was similar to a flat crisp bread or even a Khakra. It was so crisp, fresh and worked really well with the pesto mayo and Hummus.
A finger licking dish that you would surely relish.
Crisp cafe is one of my go to "date place" Quiet and calm interiors, soothing lights, which is helpful for a nice photo as well. My favs here are
Chicken and mushrooms in pink sauce:
Usually Alfredo and chicken is my thing but I made myself to choose pink sauce over white and I have no regrets. Pink sauce is a mix of Alfredo and arabiata or marinara, basically adding white sauce and red sauce. Do the math. Pasta was well cooked and you have options to choose from, the quotidian penne, fettuccini, spaghetti. Serves 2 and it's priced at 300/- exclusive of taxes. I'm gonna rate it 4/5
Herb crusted chicken:
Succulent chicken marinated in fresh herbs and fried to crisp, just like the cafe 😂. Served with an amazing barbeque aioli dip which brings out the aromatic flavor of the herbs. At 225/- a plate, it's definitely on par with the pricing of starters all over Chennai. No complaints there. Rating it 3.5/5
Overall 4/5
I went there with my brother to have brunch. I ate beef steak in teriyaki sauce, red velvet pancake and chicken steak. The service is efficient in the food quality is sumptuous. The teriyaki sauce was too sweet which I don't like, but the stake was tender. The Mash potatoes was not creamy/whipped and in the name of sauteed vegetables they just gave gave 4 pieces of Capsicum and carrot, which was a flop show. The Ambience is ok but the price charged is too premium. I expect the portion of meal should be more.
So this is my go-to place when I can't decide on anything. Tad bit expensive, but really worth it.
The cheesy fries here is my favourite. ❤❤️ Best fries I have ever had! (Though few people might find it a little soggy)
Their cake shakes are simply amazing. Especially cake batter and cookie dough. Their red velvet pancake is tasty.
BBQ beef steak is really good. Their chilli cheese omlette too.
I had the best red velvet pancakes of my life here! Fluffy soft pancakes served with whipped cream and maple syrup are a must must have for breakfast!
Another thing I loved here is the milo cake! Oh god!!! It's yummmmm 😻
One of the beautiful café with amble space and awesome interiors. The prices are on little expensive side. We had classic chicken burger, lamb burger and chicken club sandwich. I felt that club sandwich was not up to the mark, but the burgers were good. On drinks side they have limited options of coffee and coolers. The cappuccino, lemonade and iced tea we had were decent enough. Still everything is worth the money you are paying. Service is very good.
Lovely place situated off Sterling Avenue in close proximity to Women's Christian College. Interiors are very warm and crispy. Food is tasty. The frencheese is crispy true to the name of the cafe. The cake batter and cookie dough shake is a must have. Hot chocolate was good in terms of both quality and quantity. Value for money is good. Good place for casual hangouts.
Crisp Cafe known for it's Red velvet pancakes. you should try it if you're a lover of it. I personally liked the white pasta and chicken club sandwich. This cafe is quite expensive but of course worth the money. they have a decent variety of dessert to stick on. Good place to hangout for the weekend!
Awesome ambience ❤️

Gooey chocolate was really yumm😋
So I’ve been to crisp cafe today and the food is really good. But the price level is lil expensive I feel it..
I ordered a gooey chocolate milkshake, fries topped with salsa, spicy chicken wings, fish fingers with tarter sauce it’s name is different in the menu.
Garlic bread with yummy cheese
And ended with red velvet pancakes
All were good
But the restaurant need to work on the price🙂
few days ago I am hungry bite something....order cheesy fries... and burger...fries crispy and cheesy... good... burger was extraordinary... little slow service... OK....
This cafe is in Nungambakkam..
Best for party with friends..
Tastess Soo good.. but expensivee btw..
Suggestions: Delicious Desserts.. best in crisp cafe..
A lot of hype about the steaks at this place, so decided to give it a try. The interiors are very pleasant but the seating is a bit uncomfortable. Nothing that will inconvenience you though. ordered cheesy fries with salsa, spicy chicken Burger, Jamaican grilled chicken and the meat lover's mix. The service was prompt and pleasant. Interactive where they need to be. Food was served in good time. The fries weren't anything out of the ordinary, but not bad either. Save for that, all the other dishes were excellent. The portions are generous and the taste is outstanding. Definitely a go-to-again place!
Decided to try this place today for a quick lunch. Was greeted with a pleasant ambience. Staff were polite and courteous. Our dishes were served almost immediately which was very much appreciated. For starters we ordered the cheesy fries with salsa and Ramen cutlets. The cutlets were unique and tasted amazing. However the fries were a tad soggy. The highlight was the fish and chips which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The salted caramel cake shake was a perfect blend of sweet and salt and went well with the food. Finished off the meal with grilled Nutella marshmallow sandwich accompanied by a rich chocolate ganache. The prices were reasonable and worth the food we got! Absolutely recommend this place.
Crisp Cafe balances posh Chennai with your college self -- the menu, which has undergone some revamps for the better, has a balance of veg and nonveg that appeals to a group of college-goers, single women traveling around the country, and families wanting a nice lunch outing.
Actually the place was so good for meet up with friends . Taste of foods was really awesome. We ordered 10 items and each one taste really good . Their was no delay in serving the foods . The best part is the jarshake.
I absolutely love this place! They've got the prettiest and tastiest desserts, overlooking a beautiful view of busy Chennai. The Cafe is cute with cosy and very 2018 interiors, definitely a fun place to try their yummy dishes with your favorite friends.
I've tried their barbecued chicken sausages (they're sliced up) with fries and they're amazing. Wash it down with frosty lemonade. The sweet endings are amazing, I love their marshmallow pie.
Weekend calling! @crispcafe , Chennai.

On the table: French cheese, sweet potato chips, red velvet pancakes with maple syrup and cream, pasta arabiatta(more pink as requested), veg lasagna, hazelnut mousse, maltesers.
.
Food: 5/5. The pancakes, french cheese(deep fried pizza sandwich bites),maltesers and the sweet potato chips are brilliant. The dessert options are very less. .
Service:3/5. The food was served at the correct temperature but the staffs were not very friendly keeping in mind that the place was not even full. One had to call out many times for someone to respond. .
Ambience:5/5. Its a beautiful cafe where you can order and sit in for hours for a conversation or two! .
Cost for 4:Rs.2000/- including taxes.

A pretty place above cake walk, sterling road. The menu comprises of continental food and a wide range of desserts. Loved their most talked about red velvet pancakes. It was very filling and delicious. The veg classic burger was right in quantity and taste too. The party was perfect sans oil. The cheesy fries with salsa was decent. However didn't find enough cheesy sauce on top very appetising. The ramen cutlets was just Maggi cutlets. This was the only mediocre dish of the day. The peach iced tea was refrigerated tropicana. The pricing is on the higher side.
Visited twice. Liked the food. It was served quick. Loved it at the heart of the city.
This cafe is located in Nungambakkam and serves the best comfort food. From their cheesy fries, spicy chicken wings and sandwiches, to their Fish N Chips and Shakes, all their dishes were so flavoursome and drool-worthy. It's a bit crowded during the evenings, so it's better to go there for lunch for some peace and quiet. The prices are reasonable for the large portions that they serve and it's quality. Definitely worth visiting !!

But staffs needs more training to be attentive and polite! They need to talk to the customers to explain their menus or promote their products when the customer wasn’t sure what to buy there! Hope they will do it in future!!

A must try location for trying Chicken lasagna and Meat lovers mix. ♥️ loved every bite of it. Do try their hot chocolate too. Yummmmm🥹
I have been here for more than 30 times just for there lasagna. Wow what a taste. They have not compromised on their taste. Food taste good. Pastas are really superb. Pesto penne is my fav one. Gobi fried noodles quantity is great and taste awesome. Chilli cilantro is very spicy and must try if u love spicy food. Their burgers, sandwiches are good. Pomo mojito, goey chocolate shakes are good to try. Lighting and music is pleasant. Can spend time with loved one.
Cons:
- waiting time is high for food to reach you
- service has to be improved. As soon as u finish eating your last bite, they come and ask u whther u plan to order, if not they give bill immediately. They dont allow u to sit their if you dont order food which is bad because we may need to wait at restaurant for many reason.
- they switch off the acs at sharp 9 even if u have not finished eating. One time they closed the maingate and asked us to leave by side doors as it was nearing 10. Worst behaviour.
- sofa seats are all torn now and they are fixing with just a tape. Sofas are not changed for a long time. They should look at maintaining it well.
Though I have many cons, i still give 4star just for their food and taste. I keep visiting their eventhough i had bad customer experience.
The food as well as the atmosphere is best. I'm impressed by the way they treat their customers and the interior decor is mind blowing. I would highly recommend this place.
The building design is very eye catchy and ambience is pretty decent and simple.
And as far as the food is involved, had ordered gooey chocolate cake shake, coffee latte, cheesy fries and Nutella marshmallow sandwich.
Everything tasted good apart from the cheesy fries which I feel was a big let down for a cheese lover. The melted cheese neither felt nor tasted like cheese. The consistency was too thin. And the salsa on top didn't go that well with it.
Gooey chocolate cake shake was amazing. A small jar of chocolatey goodness.
Nutella and marshmallow sandwich is a must try! And who can go wrong with a cup of good hot coffee.
A elegant place with quite a few options to choose from. Friendly customer services. Absolutely Loved the taste and ambience. A must try
Enjoyed the food. Didn't enjoy the ambience much as it was ruined by a hand full of super noisy diners. Annoyed. Never the less, great place to dine and hangout.
Crisp Cafe. Decent ambiance & tasty food. On a not so high price rage.
Oriental Chicken wings is a must try dish.
The Cafe has other dishes apart from just cakes and milk shakes.
The atmosphere is too good and very spacious, it's kinda expensive but can give a try.
Cosy place to hangout with friends or even have a quiet me time over exceptional food.
The walls are filled with inspirational quotes for the foodies' hearts.
This place is sure to be a mood enhancer with the elegant interiors and pleasant natural lighting that's not too bright.
Price range is ₹125-₹400.
You get pasta, coolers, shagetti, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, salads , cake shakes, hot coffee and gourmet chocolate and pastries.
It's good place to have coffee and some snacks in the evenings. Good ambiance, good music, good quantity and affordable prices being a cafe kinda place. They serve a really strong hot chocolate with a dark chocolate stick which is a must try. I would also recommend the cheesy fresh fries with salsa topping. Also a good place to relax with friends and family.
Pretty good cafe. Had their Fish and Chips and some starters. It was very nice.
Great option if you just want to spend some quiet time. A cozy place to spend with friends and family. Located by the main road on the first floor . The food is actually really nice. A specjal point to their hor chocolate which I absolutely loved.v. Rhe salads ate also really nice. A word or two about the amazing service i received there. Great place overall. Loved it
Food was tasty and ambience and service was good. But we don't like Jamaica grill that we ordered.
