A Good Veg. Restaurant. We went in a group of 6 adults & 3 Child for a Dinner. We ordered..
Cream of Tomato & Mushroom Soup - Both were Good in the 1st serve (Ordered Tomato Soup again, it wasn't as before) - 8/10
Mushroom Manchurian & Crispy Fried Vegetables - Both were Good & tasted almost similar. - 8/10
Butter Naan , Masala Kulcha & Panner Butter Masala - Equally Good - 8/10
Plain Dosa - Good & Bigger in size, compared to other restaurants - 9/10
Quantity was more than expected.
Restaurant Front elevation wasn't attractive, but interior Ambience was excellent.
Prices were quite attractive for the ambiece, Quantity & Taste.
They also have some exclusive dishes.
Overall , Good dine out place for Dinner.

Must try mini idli, check pic. Try ghee and dal item. Sizzler is good. Decent place for family.
This is marked to be a hidden gem.... Not so easily findable in regular sight... Perfect place for vegetarians... Everything's good and no complaints wid any dishes... If u r veggie and need varieties... Get here...
Came for a dinner. The view from outside may not please you. No light for the nameboard.. But once u get into the restaurant, the perception changes. A good ambience and a polite staffs.
We order French onion soup, corn chips with cheese, masala cheese toast, tandoori paneer sizzlers and a coffee milkshake. French onion soup and corn chips were so yummy. Never had a French onion soup with that taste.. Others things are good too just like some good restaurants. All these costs 630 rupees which is surprising. Just one thing that bothered me was that the staffs didn't know how to serve. If that's improved, this restaurant deserves a 5 star. Will highly recommend.
It's a nice place with good interiors. The food is tasty and very reasonably priced. The Mysore masala dosa, butter dosa, tandoori platter, corn bags and tomato soup everything was good . Definitely going back for more. It's filling up a huge lacuna in vegetarian South Indian where options are very limited.
Visit - Twice - with colleagues!
Ambiance, parking and staff-courtesy - ( 0.9 / 1.0 ) - I have never known this restaurant exists till my friend suggested the name Annam. I would rather say an underrated one. I really wonder why isn't is getting popular ! They have more varieties in veg than many other restaurants in perungudi. Cleaner ambiance which can accommodate good 50 plus crowd. Service lane can be used for parking - not a problem unless it is a busy day.
Cost for Food - ( 0.5 / 0.5 ) - Considering other high class pure veg restaurants, which serve you only for half stomach - this one stands out ! Especially that veg platter is worth every penny.
Starters / Appetizers (0.8 / 1.0) - More varieties than expected. We tried cheese chilli toast (was really good), veg platter ( Paneer Tikka - was above average, Aloo tikki - was out of the world, sheekh kebab - was soft and flavoured, tandoori gobi and mushroom was not up to the mark) and crispy friend vegetables was Unexpectedly the best one.
Main course (1.6 / 2.0) - Vegetable Biryani was really good too our surprise (Mild spicy and good flavour). We also tried rotis and naans (Usual good) with Cashew masala (Definitely worthy trying once - it is sweeter but was still went good with roti). With some excitement, we also ordered tandoori paneer Tikka sizzler - the quantity was good , but it lacked enough flavour for a sizzler.
Drinks (0.4 / 0.5) - During our previous visit, we tried Hot chocolate fudge sundae (was too good and quantity is again amazing) and mango Lassi (Ice cream added- still good). But in our latest visit, only mango ice cream was available (Couple of them settled for it - but still tasted yummy). Others tried milkshakes - pommegranate and apple (Good again) and sweet lime (Surprisingly sweeter than my usual expectations)
Total - 0.9 + 0.5 + 0.9 + 1.6 + 0.4 = 4.3 (~4.0)
[With previous zomato rating scale, I could have very well given a 4.5 rating. Since they removed 0.5, have to settle down for 4)
The menu is different from the usual, It is a mix of different cusines. The taste, quantity and price were all pretty much satisfactory. The service is good and quick as it a decent sized restaurant. Overall an enjoyable experience.
Improvement Areas: The air-conditioning was not enough and felt a bit warmer.
Some of the menu items like desserts and thali were not available at 1 pm !
Hard to identify the place as the entrance from OMR is small and not prominent.
The entrance is a bit hard to catch, it comes up a short distance after FBB outlet.
The ambience is good, seating is spacious.
Good variety of dishes (although veg only), some of them customised to Indian taste.
Quantity is surprisingly good for the price. Quality of dishes takes a slight hit compared to the other aspects, but is still good enough to frequent this restaurant.
One complaint I have for my visit is that the waiter served all our orders at the same time, after a noticably long wait. They could have served it as per the dishes with a gap of 10 minutes each: Spring rolls first, followed by sizzler, then the 2 dosa dishes. Other than this slight inconvenience, we enjoyed a peaceful and fulfilling dinner.
Visited this place after hearing good feedbacks and their interesting menu. Quantity is good for the money you pay. Ordered french onion soup, Gobi chilli kind of starter, aloo paratha, kadai paneer gravy and tandoori paneer sizzler platter. It was too heavy for 2 ppl. Soup and starter was good. Paratha was nice as well, good on stomach too - being made of wheat. Rest were of ok type. Crowd is less. Worth visiting. :)
After hearing a lot about this place we recently visited here. If you are a vegetarian and have been looking out for a menu card with various options, do visit this place.
The place was very clean and also very less crowd.. Good quality and less crowd isn't a shock these days.. We ordered French onion soup, chilly cauliflower, panneer Tikka, vegetable balls and all of them were really good. The serving time was also very decent.
Main course we ordered annam sizzler, veg biriyani and veg noodles and the quantity wad very satisfying and so was the taste. The raita was too salty and was replaced immediately when we asked for it.
Definitely a great place to visit for vegetarians.
The only thing on the negative side is the difficulty to spot the place. Trust Google maps to ease this process for you.
If you are a Hardcore Veggie looking for varieties of dishes at one place , this is the place you should try. The Ambiance is pretty decent with some good playlist. The Food tastes really good and definitely its worth. The Management should work on making the hotel visible to customers, It is placed in the service road so search for it.

Underrated place for quality food... worth the money... I have tried the north indian thali which works good to not be too heavy but just right for a mid day meal... lassi is little watery but soothing for the senses..
A very underrated restaurant. A delight for vegetarians and the presentation of the food is definitely better than other well known restaurants. “Food matters and not the name” tag suits this restaurant. You are served very hot and worth the money as none of the items are overpriced. I have no relationship with the hotel and this is an unbiased honest opinion.

The food and ambiance is really good. The dishes are quite tasty and inexpensive. But they take more time to serve. If you really want to enjoy good food, go when you have ample time.
Have been here for pleanty of times. Still the amazing taste havent changed. The sizzlers sizzles everytime i go there . must visit for all. Pure veg with alot of varieties.

Excellent tasty veg food , nominally priced , great selection and variety of food , nice ambience and the veg platter was fabulous .... parking also possible on service road nearby
Great food and ambience. Vast variety, their sizzler, North Indian and Chinese cuisines are great. But the customer service is far from friendly. Feels unwelcoming. :(
Good ambience. A delight for vegetarians. Starters are so amazing.
The service should be better. The guests are not taken care properly. But the food is worth the money.
Very good hotel for pure veg ... Ppl instead of going to saravana Bhavan surely we can visit this place.....
It's bit difficult to locate the hotel even though it's on main road...
Interior is decent one though chairs looks old... Management can do something for interior and making hotel more visible to ppl...
Surely can try... And food worth the rate
Good but costly. It's like normal south Indian food at a higher price. Their North Indian is not at par with other guys on mgr salai.
Their ambience is decent, so if you want to have south Indian food in a good ambience, can try this.

Annam.. the name of the restaurant is very much evident to what it serves ...rice.. that's what I thought.. but I was wrong, the restaurant serves other types of dishes...like tandoori platters and sizzlers and it's vegan..
On Friday after a hectic week.. me and my she boss decided to have lunch in this restaurant..as she has been a lot of times here and I was not happy to pay for vegan food...which I think was the most ridiculous thing for a non veg lover to do... But I did and I truly appreciate my lady boss for taking me there... Because the food that I had was absolutely amazing...
We ordered for a Corn cheese French Toast..which was super delicious... I loved the generous amount of cheese over the toasted bread which was fab and delicious and the corn over the cheese was lovely...and not only that the had given some nachos with toast which was great went very well along with the ketchup.
Then my lady boss had ordered her usual North Indian thali... When it arrived it was so filling to see and have.. nan was served separately and panner and peas pulav was given along with that a superb tasty lassi was served..one of the best lassi that I have tried... thick..and Creamy... Lady boss enjoyed her meal..
I had ordered for Tandoori and panner sizzler... OMG.. it was the BOM.. totally great it was sizzling hot....
My sizzler was served with a wooden plater were the steam's very all over the dish... Smoking sounds loved it.. I started digging ... The sizzler contained steamed/smoked peas and cauliflower which was salted and by the way like I said the dish was served on the wooden plater on the top of that cabbage leaves were used... Which was nice..and Jeera rice along with that crispy potato fries which was amazing...and the panner gravy complimented the rice and smoked veggies... The sizzler was very filling and apitezi good... I should say I enjoyed my meal so much that I thanked my lady boss so many times...
Ohh ya my lady boss is a vegan...
A must try place if you guys stay by thuraipakkam and perugudi...your vegan friends and family would love this place...
One of the finest vegetarian multi cuisine restaurant in the OMR. Much better than all the bhavans.. Quality of the food is too good. Ambience is pretty decent. Less crowded. Annam special platter is very good. Overall worth the money.
Annam is a pure vegetarian fine dine restaurant with a limited menu. Fuss free I would say. The restaurant has been done up in simple and warm yellow and grey hues.
Orders:
Dahi papadi: was super sooper hungry and ordered this right away under the impression that it will be like a starter. Boy, was I wrong! It was a meal in itself. The quantity was that much. Taste wise, nothing to complain. Curd was fresh and the papadi was crispy. Finishing that plate was a task by itself!
Masala cheese toast:
Was surprised by both the taste n quantity. It was yummy and was perfectly toasted to crispness. It came with nachos and ketchup. Would have preferred mayo. N the chat masala(?!) was a slight let down. Didn't like the taste of it.
Tandoor Paneer sizzler:
The dish that failed us terribly. The quantity was again, huge but the taste was really a big turn off. Paneer was over cooked. Aloo fry was coloured artificial and tasted more like bajji than tandoor. Rice was just so-so. Ended up wasting the whole thing.
Service: am not sure if this is directly proportional here at this place but the place was almost deserted but the service was top notch. Very attentive.
Parking: to be done on the service road.
Bill: inr 393/- we were too full to talk though we didn't eat the sizzler. So, worth it. Just stay away from paneer is my note to self.
Food was really delicious! There's great variety too, in terms of cuisines. All the Continental food is amazing. Crepe is yummy!! Fondue is okay, if you like eating fruits dipped in chocolate. The triple layer ice cream is yummy!! Portions of all food are well filling for everyone. Cheap but amazing. A good place to visit. Another plus side is that hardly anyone goes there, so you get lots of place to sit and good waiter attention. You won't find anything lacking.
We had all gone as a group of 25 corporate people. Had good food, timely served, and total bill was only around 7k.
One of the best veg restaurants in perungudi.
In general everything is good. Decent pricing.
Love this place!! Been here many times and Havnt regretted even once. :D
This is one of our regulars! Love their tikkas, and Indian gravies. Chinese isn't great. But calm ambiance and good Indian and south Indian food.
Located on OMR Road Perungundi near Toll Plaza (be careful to spot this on the service road, else you may closely miss), I have been to this restaurant for lunch with 3 of my colleagues - all strict vegetarians. No good parking area outside but pretty decent well- maintained seating area with serene ambience, this joint was fully occupied soon after we started looking into the elaborate menu. Our orders:
TOMATO AND HERB SOUP: Good enough for 1/2 share with crunchy bread croutons. STARTERS:
* Masala cheese toast : Small nicely sliced bread french variety.* Tandoori Platter : Overall it was just average except the spicy veg hariyali kebab.
MAIN COURSE:* Masala Kulcha, Phulka, Tandoori Roti : Honestly below average.
* Kadai Vegetable : Not-so-spicy-not-so-tasty plain vegetable platter soup.* Annam's Special Biryani : Offo. just some overcooked rice with spices and onions paste. Pathetic. DESSERTS:
* Hot Fudge Sundae Crepe: Good * Triple Decker : Three different flavour scoops with fruits, nuts and honey. Nice one * Fudge Sundae: One-flavour-less-triple decker in a glass. Nice again. * Hot Fudge Sizzling Brownie : The real and authentic show stealer of our lunch. Amazingly bubbling brownie spread over a small pan straight from the fire, with ice cream and wafers, and a Cherry on top.Overall, it was a nice experience dining here. Pocket-friendly pure vegetarian variety including brownies. Costed 1600 approx. for 4 people.
A very neat place and well maintained. A good place for dinner. Can try every dish and my personal favorite is the Annam sizzler and French onion soup.
This is a very nice and a satisfactory place. Its a little hard to find when you are travelling. Good service and tasty food. most of their items are very good. They are nominally priced and live upto the quality and quantity
A decent joint with nicely made interiors. Food was good and may be the location is the issue, they aren't that visible on the main road. May be they can do something about it.
Wanted to go for a pure veg hotel and this was a decent one in perungudi.
Went for lunch and ordered for north Indian thali and a sizzler. It was totally tummy filling. Tasted awesome, so did the mango lassi.
Costed around -500 . They were also playing music in the background which my friend and I enjoyed .
Only problem is that we didn't have water to wash our hands. (They had a bucket filled with water, we used that later).
Great food and service :)
Annam - A decent veg resto. It is ideal for team outings and get togethers. The ambiance is simple and quiet. The food is decent. Must try for IT group lunches.
Annam can be classified as a pretty decent veg multicuisine restaurant. It's a small place but neatly maintained and provides a potpouri of interesting stuff.
We were here for an office team lunch. The place is located on the OMR main road just slightly ahead of the clothes shop Hi Style. The interiors with a patch of ceramic and fabric shades isn't spectacular by any means but most definitely justifiable.
We ordered quite a lot of stuff and majority of them turned out to be good. The tomato soup was thick with a layered essence. The bread pieces though needed to be baked instead of slotting them inside as it is. The cheese balls were quite mouth melting. They were small in size but had a herby green layer of cheesy paste on the inside and were delectable. It came with Mayo for company. We also had an up North twist with the Tikki patties which were yummy and festooned with all the masala to give it the crunch. The Tandoori Gobi was passable with the green chutney. It felt a little undone at the edges.
For main course we had the Annam special biryani which really didn't appease. It was just rice with a tinge of masala and lacked the flavoring. Since it was mentioned to be a special item expected lot more. The roti's with the Mushroom Masala and Panneer butter Masala were a job well done. The curries had a lot of pieces of mushroom and panneer which was a good thing. We also had a Tandoori Panneer sizzler which turned out to be a damp squib. The chunks of cottage cheese were hard and burnt at the bottom. There weren't too many veggies and the nice thing here was the roasted potato which was purplish in color. Rounded off our meal with a bunch of ice creams a vanilla nutty hug and a crepe based one with the same vanilla ice cream. The ice creams were especially very mellow and great in taste.
The service could have been a little faster especially with less number of customers during the lunch time. The rates seem fair and more so considering the quantity which seemed really sufficient. This little known restaurant serves a wide variety on offer and is definitely not a bad place to go to once in a while. They may not be exceptional but they can be certainly trusted for a satisfactory meal.
Entered suddenly on a Friday night for dinner. But this place did not disappoint me. Service was good. Don't expect very good ambience. Continental and sizzlers were excellent. Others were usual. A free time visit when you have no much expectations.
Visited this hotel with my family on a weekday for the dinner. It was 7:30 in the evening and we were the first customer. And when we left there were just couple of other visitors. The main reason is the location and it is located to the left side of the service road closer to the Perungudi toll when you travel from Madhya Kailash towards Sholinganallur. No one could guess that there is a decent vegetarian hotel in that place.
We had annam spl platter as the starter, sizzler, veg fried rice and butter dosa. The food is definitely good and we enjoyed a lot. The quantity is more for the price paid. Cost is definitely on the lower side comparing to all those veg BHAVAN's. Ambiance is ok, nothing special.
Best Place for vegetarians..French onion soup, Veg platter, Annam spl briyani, Ice creams and Thali are the best. Good ambiance combined with good service.
The panner tikka was good but the pulav was too spicy for an average pulav it actually tasted more like a briyani, the service was good and quick enough

This restaurant is located just near to the Perungudi toll gate. As one has to see very carefully to locate this restaurant as the name board is not that much visible and there is lot of chance that one could miss this place easily. When we entered the restaurant it was almost 2.15 pm and about 30% of the restaurant was occupied. So we got a seven seater table easily. We straight away ordered for Annam’s Special Thali Meals. The Meal cost Rs.200 and as far as me its not worth the money. The Meals contains a Chapathi/Poori with North Indian Gravy(Peas Masala), Pulav (very small cup), Dhal, Plain Rice, Sambar, Kara Kuzambu, Kottu, Poriyal(Avarakai), Rasam, Curd and Raitha. In the menu its written as Accompaniments : Podi, Appalam Pickle and Tea. They gave only Appalam and even they served the Pickle as we asked itAnd at last they gave a glass of Butter Milk which tastes good. There is no sweet in the meals and when enquired about it the servers smiled and they did not have any answer for it.
Ambience :4/5
Service :2/5
Food :4/5
Price is a bit steep
Location its just on the OMR (Near Perungudi tollgate)
Dinner at Annam was a pleasant experience. A nice variety in menu.
Food:The French onion soup was new to me, it was nice. Corn chips with cheese is a must try, chilli Mushroom was pretty normal. Tandoori Paneer tikka sizzler was a surprise, it was delicious!! Phulka and Mushroom masala were great. Finished the delightful dinner with caramelised apple with Ice cream desert.
The service could/ should be improved, Me:how is the chilly Mushroom made(under Chinese favorites)?
Waiter: Chinese style.
Me:What veggies the veg kabab contain?
Waiter: vegetables
Me:thought "that's a discovery".
The restaurant has a small front place and board which we failed to notice. The place could use a bigger signboard or something.
Basically great tasting food and good ambience, needs service improvement.
One Classic Pure Vegetarian Place. Nice ambiencce. Pleasing Music. The best part is you can have the whole menu to choose unlike the veg and non-veg resaturants. It can be easily missed as it has a very narrow entrance and from thereon a long passageway to enter the restaurant.
Been here twice and i loved the food both the times.French Onio Soup is worth a shot here and its my favourite here.Cream of Tomato is good too. These have a wide variety of starters of which i feel Crispy vegetables and Tandoori Platter are great. Coming to main course, the quantity is really good.Annam Special Biriyani is awesome here and is a must try dish for those who prefer rice.Ghee rice is good as well.Coming to the curries, not all of them are good. We should be really choosy in this area. Didnt like the Aloo items much. But the Paneer here is really good and fresh.Little Expensive but the quality and quantity is great. I believe its not a really good place for deserts. The taste is not worth the price
Was there a couple of weeks ago.
Good concept restaurant.
Started off with a foodie puzzle instead of the ordinary boring restaurant ad.
Starters were yummy. Full of cheezeee!!!
Main course was awesome.
Desserts were limited.
One word. Veggie Paradize :)
Went to annam for lunch with family, good options of staters which tasted good, few where spicy our kids didn't liked it,main course continental is superb, ice cream and crepes where excellent, to mention apple with caramel was top pick, good to go with family
This pure vegetarian joint is spacious and has the interiors done in a feel good way. Little pricey but the portion served would have leftovers after a single person chooses to have it. Service is at a regular pace.
P S : chocolate brownie is such a disaster !
Tried this restaurant for the first time and am very much impressed. The location is very easy to spot, right on OMR. Food was delicious. We tried the following:
French Onion Soup - Excellent
Corn & Cheese toast - Good
Grilled Panneer stuffed with Cheesy Spinach - Excellent.
Choco Sundae - Good
Overall , the food was more than satisfactory. Definite revisit.
Ambiance: Easily locatable. Right on the main OMR just few furlongs after Hi style. Parking can be done in the service road in OMR. Service was really good and prompt. A good place to have dinner with family and friends
Taste buddies :
I have been there like 4-5 times. To start with soups are decent but not very creamy.
Starters: Don miss the Corn cheese breads. They are really delicious. Ordered veg platter. Kebabs and paneer were soft where as the cauliflower was not cooked properly.
Order Paneer Tikka Sizzler and Pome Stroganoff. You ll never regret it. Pome Stroganoff was made with white sauce. Diced and sauteed veggies go well with both Indian paneer style sauces and the creamy sauce . Might require a bit more of salt to taste
Butters naans were horrible. Very hard when you give some time. North Indian side dishes are not that great.
The Nutella and Cinnamon hot chocolate were different. You might want to give it a try. Crepes were totally bad considering the thickness.
Conspectus : You won't regret trying this restaurant. For its standards, it might seem to be a bit priced for the taste. For vegetarians , its one of the best in Perungudi !!
I came to know this place exists solely on the basis that I was just going through the restaurants in Zomato in my area. Otherwise it is a little difficult to find out. It's on the omr road near the toll plaza. Coming to the food it was awesome. They served within a reasonable amount of time and the quality and quantity was amazing. Great ambience. Will definitely recommend this to my friends.
Taste, Ambience was awesome.
Had Executive lunch. The cost was a bit high, but the quality & quantity was good enough to satisfy it.
Esp., Fruits with Honey😍
Not too.good or too bad...okaish restaurant for vegetarians...normal availablity of varities...normal taste...slightly over priced...over all average

Paneer dosa is a must try, if you are going light.
Ambience is good. Starters are different from what you get else where and are good too.
True to its tagline, finest veg restaurant.
Once you go to this place
Order corn chips with cheese
Wooooow ! Unbelievably good .
Starters are good
Others are OK ! .
Over all a good experience !
A must visit place

Annam is one of my recent favorites, visited this place thrice in two months and all three times for dinner. Haven't tried lot of varieties here as I ended up ordering almost the same dishes every time because I am yet to get over them, really tasty and VFM. They serve large portions, ambience is calm and good (I am quite surprised why I don't see a bigger crowd considering the good food they provide!)
Now going for the dishes :
1. Tikki patties has become an all time favorite. Must try if you are a chaat lover.
2. Corn and cheese toast was good too.
3. Annam's lettuce wrap - fresh and yummy.
4. Tandoori platter had good variety, i liked the soft cottage cheese.
5. All the indian breads are good and in the gravy side tried Annam's special veg kofta curry and kadai vegetables. Kofta curry was exceptional.
This place appeals to me and would definitely pay more visits in the future.

The decor may seem fine dining... but it is not really so. It's a simple enough place with moderate pricing. The menu has everything and it is a truly 'family restaurant'.
The french onion soup (creamy style) and the tomato herb soup were pretty good. The starter - a plate of spring rolls was also good.
The muttar paneer was lacking in taste, and the garlic nan could have been better. The Kashmiri dum aloo was good.
This is one of those really rare gems in this area. Youd take this unassuming place for just another sangeetha clone, but it turns out to be completely different.
BTW this review is targeted at fellow non vegetarians who find it difficult to eat pure veg..
I try to run away from veg dinners and so I had entered here reluctantly one night when nothing good was open.
This place can be a nice break for non veg guys. The amazing part is that it does not try to please you by compensating for not having veg, it carries the veg items so confidentiality, you'll see that meat isn't required.
I tried the ghee rice with dalchini, and for a 150 bucks the portion was huge. The rice and dalchini were bursting with flavor and I did not feel that anything was left incomplete (as I am normally won't to do generally with veg).
Awesome work Annam!
I work in night shift it was Friday night and we decided to visit the place annam .. Frankly speaking the place was deserted in Friday eve I thought oops I would be cheated but trust me it was a big surprise for me
Good menu had selective varieties starters were awesome ordered one tandoori platter it was awesome
Main course was also sumptuous fried rice naan and kadai vegetable tasted good
Desert part was also indeed very good there were many varieties
Over all it's good place with good taste it was little over priced but rest it's awesome
I went this place with my friends... the ambience is good.... this is the first time as we triex this place so we preferred to order from menu of chef's special.... all the iteams were really delicious... If u r n veggie lover this place is worth trying....
We visited this place with our parents. A very good place on OMR for vegetarians. Ambience is good. Very affordable pricing and the quantity of food supplied is well sufficient when compared to many other popular vegetarian eateries in Chennai.Although Annam serves South Indian, North Indian, Chinese and Italian cusines, wish the spread could be better on all categories, especially South Indian varieties which are local favorites.Among the main course we ordered , Rava dosai and Tandoori roti with kadai paneer were delicious. Lettuce wrap starter was not great. They had offered fried panner & mushrooms with chopped lettuce .The french onion soup looked and tasted more like a cream soup topped with fried onions. We ended our dinner with a masala tea which was very refreshing.
A very good place for vegetarians. the variety on the menu is really great and includes a good number of starters, soups, main course, thalis, combo meals, desserts and other items. The interiors are definitely above average and peacful, the seating arrangement is also very comfortable making it a suitable place to visit with friends or family. Few things which are recommended are paneer shashlik and tandoori platter
Nice and peaceful place with good ambience.. light music in the background.. coming to food.. little little variety of different cuisines.. but most of them good in taste and not too expensive.. worth a try..
An excellent vegetarian place. Visited this place with a few buddies for a farewell dinner yesterday and the place was excellent. The ambience was too good with the entrance and the lighting adding to the fervour. It has been maintained well. Coming to the food, we had an entire three course meal.
The soups were good esply the cream of mushroom though it lacked the right consistency. My friends were complaining that the tomato soup was bad.
The starters were excellent and in good quantity. I loved the paneer tikka , chilli mushroom and the corn chips with cheese. The only disappointment was that the spring rolls had too much oil in them.
For the main course we had paneer fried rice , schezwan fried rice, garlic naans, butter naans, mushroom masala and annam special kofta. The annam special kofta had the usual kofta but with tuti fruti in it to give a sweet taste. The rice and breads were well cooked and tasted good.
The desserts that we had included the vanilla nutty hug, hot fudge sundae with crepe and the nutella crepe. Many of my friends had the sukku coffee (dry ginger with coffee) and they said it was an excellent find. The crepes were good but the ice creams lacked in quantity for the pricing.
Highlights
Starters that are tasty and in good quantity.
Varied choices in desserts though slightly overpriced. (Vanilla milk shake costs you 120Rs).
Extremely fast service. (Can avoid those never ending waits)
Our regular eat out place. Very clean and classy restaurant. It is just opposite to CTS and Apollo near kandanchavadi signal. Keep a close watch you have all chance of missing out. I tried sizzlers yesterday. Very good presentation and taste. They surely have different menu in the entire omr region.
This place was surprise discovery for me on stroll for a packed lunch. Chanced upon this place with a small but artistically done entrance. The interiors were neat, tidy and aesthetic and a group of well appointed waiters were there to take care of all needs. But the biggest surprise was the real huge veg meal they offer. I actually lost count of the dishes and had a tough time finishing the huge quantity of the tasty meal. But remember very limited parking and just enough number of seats.
Starters are awesome. Loved the ambience. And the presentation of the dishes was also lovely. Corn chips was the best :) being a vegetarian I loved the variety.
Great starters. Tasty ones, corn chips with cheese is really good. Tandoori platter is better than ordering starters individually. But order one after the other because they get child fast and don't taste good after that.
We skipped main course after the starters because we got good quantity of starters.
Cheese toast was good enough. Gobi manchurian was just average. Not so much recommended.
On downside cream of tomato soup didn't cream. Just plain one. But when we asked for more bread crumbs people there are courteous to give more.
Chocolate fudge sizzler was good. Definite try. Never get mango lassi. It's the worst in our dinner.

What I liked
The taste. The simple ambience.
What I loved
The speed of service even after the restaurant was packed.
The deserts without egg..
The firangi deserts which did not look like a failed attempt but a rather successful vegetarian rip off..
What could be better
Paneer tikka could be softer...
Do try the tandoori platter. Filing for a person...
One of the finest restaurants in OMR, at-least among the ones that i have visited till date. Excellent food, nice service n ambiance. Altogether a great place to have good food. Will visit the place again for sure.

One of the finest restaurant on OMR..i would say its THE BEST...
their ambiance is awesome and the quality of food is excellent. I have been there like more than 5-6 times and never got disappointed. Right from the soup till the desserts , the taste was damn delicious. And their service was also good..Though it was little bit pricy , but i would suggest for a dinner.
My recommendations - Tomato soup , Chilli paneer , Butter Kulcha ,Sizzling brownie.
All these were amazingly brilliant at Annam...

Awesome place, annam's sizzler is the best, a little copied menu from cream center ;-) but good food, aweaome starters and deserts. Would definitely recommend the place
Came to know regarding this restaurant by a friend. Decent ambience, good food and good quantity.. Ordered for thali found a plate with missing sweet and curd. Water wasn't served until asked. Excessive use of garlic in food (not much fond of garlic). Still would recommend this restaurant since it had the taste that will be loved by many..

Finally found a good Multi cuisine Veg Restaurant in the OMR Road. French Onion Soup was awesome followed by Tandoor Panneer Tikka well cooked. Paneer Sizzler was the Best. Sizzler could have more Vegetables.....Good Ambience too.
Ambiance is good. South India food taste is good but North Indian food is ok.. Ok type..
Price is reasonable.
Love the food here. I keep on coming back here. And this is probably the 10th time. I recommend this to all the Veggies out there. Love the music and ambience too.
I donno I am more excited... I love this place and food.
Till now I never got disappointment in my last 9 visits.
Tomato soup is must that I order there.
I love it.
Seriously tasty and lot of variety for a veg restaurant
I wonder why this place has not yet caught the attention of many vegetarians! This place serves delicious north Indian dishes. The menu is innovative and intriguing. The instrumental tracks of old Hindi songs (though hard to guess these songs :P ) and the playful table mats ( ;) ) add to the ambience. Must visit for all the vegans around.
The best veg food I ever had. Very less oil they use for cooking. Totally worth the price. Mostly visited by families.
Though you pass by this restaurant everyday, you may not notice it, as the placement of this restaurant is not gazing friendly...!!! Me along with my friend visited this place, which was accidental... We stopped here for a lunch... They had a pretty decent menu which listed a few different options rather a clichéd one.
Starters were priced from 100INR to 200INR.. I ordered for a tandoori platter which contained good portion of Gobi..Mushroom..aloo tikki...veg sheek kebab and paneer tikka..!!! 4 pieces each except aloo tikki were 2... It was absolutely worth for 200INR...!!! It was French onion soup, personal favorite that I ordered...this wasn't satisfying and I had to change it...they replaced this with a tomato soup immediately and this tasted a lot better than the former..
Veg saslik and butter naan for main course was more than enough to fill the remaining tummy..!!
On the whole..the taste was amazing..the pricing is pretty decent and above all, excellent courteous service..!! The sad part was...we were just two in the restaurant for lunch in the entire one hour that we spent there..!!! A must visit restaurant for good food worth the money...Ambience is very soothing with soft instrumental music played @ very low volume..!!!
I have been twice to this place in two weeks already.
The first time was a (just noticed it) kind of visit.
The tandoori platter and Veg Shaslik was my choice the first time it was lovely both in terms of quantity and quality!
The presentation of the shaslik was pretty neat and impressed me especially.
Did not like their French onion soup and they replaced it with another soup of my choice without a question and the replacement was a cream of tomato soup and it was pretty good!
The ambiance was quite good and it was indeed a peaceful experience with just a faint music!
In the second outing tried out their Italian herb chilli cheese toast and it was not bad and quite okay. Tried their executive lunch and must tell you that this one is not a quick lunch but a heavy one with large servings and everything was too good!
I am surprised that such a lovely ambient, good food serving location has very less patronage for whatever reasons. A must visit place in my view!
