This place is for the ones who are lethally into chocolates but there were offerings off the menu that could cater the needs of others as well. It's compact ,cute and a chocolaty setup with the aroma of chocolate trying to take your senses into captivity. They have something called a chocolate spoon, just in case if you think you haven't had enough of chocolate already.
The cakes remain fresh in my taste buds, the red velvet to be precise, they were airy, delicate and smooth to the senses.
The nomenclature in their menu is pretty exciting too. Heaven on earth, chocolate serendipity... to name a few ...

The Swiss Chocolate Coated Brownie
Brownie was so delicious, it was so soft and fudgy, flavor of Hazelnut Chocolate Praline was the best combination for this brownie. Also it was served with Vanilla Icecream which was amazingly delicious with the Brownie.
The quantity was very less for the price, could have been better than this. Also the ambience was super cool with proper interior and atmosphere.

One of most favorite flavors of everyone is Red Velvet, tried it in this place. Cake was on average taste with cream cheese frosting. You can try this with any icecream so it can be better than the normal cake.

The Roasted Almond Chocolate Brownie
An excellent Chocolate Brownie is prepared with Roasted Almonds and Caramelized very well. One of the best dish available here, Yeah size is too less but worth for the money.
It is served along with Vanilla Icecream to add the flavor, almonds are roasted and chopped into slices and placed on the top of brownie.

Finally crossed Zuka off my to go list and the experience there was extremely satisfying for my tummy and my soul.

The 54° hot chocolate - came in an aesthetic wooden cup, and with chocolate shaped cubes filled in with dark chocolate flakes. Absolutely loved the presentation and loved the taste even better. It was neither too sweet, nor too dark. And oh, they also provide a chocolate spoon along with this.
The dark and dense hot chocolate - Oh dear lord! Sheer chocolate orgasms. Every sip felt divine! The doggo art over it was too cute to be destoryed, but definitely worth it.
The Italian caramello coffee cake-shake - Long by the name, long by the satisfying game. The strong taste of caramel blended with the scrumptious nougatian coffee cake is an unique and delightful shake.
The Roman cappuccino chocolate brownie - Have you ever tried a coffee infused chocolate brownie? Sounds magical, doesn't it? Oh honey, it tastes magical too.

I had the hot chocolate at zuka on all the days that I was in Pondicherry. It was one of the best hot chocolates I have had. The hot chocolate was not very sweet ( just the way I like it) and was perfectly made. The chocolate spoon and cubes served with the hot chocolate made it even better.

A chocolate lover's paradise in the heart of Dr. Radakrishnan Salai. A bit heavy on the pocket for a casual snack but a heavenly stopover for a celebratory treat. The store has an extremely friendly accountant and store manager who'd give you a quick suggestion on what to choose off the menu based on your preference of chocolate. What's not to love their celebration cakes with my personal favourites being the Devil's Own Chocolate Cake, the Ebony Truffle, the Coffee Mist and the ever so special Fresh Mango Cake which is off their standard menu card.
One of the best lemon tarts I’ve had in Chennai, Absolutely amazing !! Highly recommend it, The zingy flavour and the sweetness of the tart makes your mouth water.

I've never been a chocoholic. But this place is bound to make me a convert. The temptation is too much to even try resisting. We've tried Watson's favourite, ebony truffle cakes, their milk chocolates, dates and almond slice, chocolate mousse, and assorted pastries. My son loved the lollipops and car-shaped chocolates, aptly named vroom vroom. U can't stop with one (or few). Definitely makes a dent on your wallet. But worth it!
Like any tourist I was asked to try their hot chocolate and that’s exactly what I did. It came with chocolate spoons and chocolate toppings contained in chocolate vessels. You are supposed to add everything into the steaming cup, stir and enjoy. Initially I thought it might be a bit too much chocolate but it was the right amount of chocolate. Absolutely loved it. MUST TRY - The Chocolate Mousse Cake
Ordered a cold chocolate drink and a flavoured cold coffee, the cold chocolate drink was deeeeeep in its chocolate taste, cold coffee was okay but what stole the show was the mousse cake which was the month special (no photo attached), hot pure chocolate syrup pouring over the gourmet cake was a sight to see, but the elegant mixture of the tastes which followed in the cake... Cannot be expressed in words.
After having an amazing experience at Cafe Ole and Zuka in Pondicherry, we found out that we have one in Mylapore too. We ordered the Icy Mocha Cold Coffee and the 5.4° Cold chocolate. Even if the Cold Coffee could not meet the same standards as the one in Pondy, it was delicious with a strong coffee aroma.
What was a must try was their signature pastry, the Wellington chocolate mousse cake. It was a perfect combination of sweet, bitter, soft and crunchy, very soothing and pleasing to the taste buds. The tempered chocolate on top is perfectly tempered and leaves lasting impressions of chocolate. If not anything, this needs to be tried!

I would call this place a "Chocolate lovers paradise". We had "Heaven on Earth" with extra hot chocolate sauce. I could give up anything for this. My chocolate cravings were completely satisfied. It's little expensive but the portion size was pretty good. We also had strawberry basil & green apple iced tea which was decent.

Visited the place on a Saturday late afternoon after a movie with a couple of friends. Being guys I expected them not to like the place cause it's major ingredient is chocolate. But surprisingly the place had everything for everyone 😁 we had a sandwich, milkshake and their famous brownie, Serendipity 😍
Serendipity was obviously my choice and boy was it worth it! The chocolate was not too overwhelming which could tend someone to put off by the taste of it. There was a right balance of chocolate, sugar and everything else. Same goes for the sandwich and the thick chocolate milkshake!
Zuka is a must try for all the chocolate lovers and for others too who isn't much of a chocolate fan! ;)

Zuka is a cozy little cafe serving the best hot chocolate in town! Tried out their Dark and Dense hot chocolate and the creamy white vannilla hot chocolate.
Dark and Dense was one of the yummiest hot chocolate i have ever had. The white chocolate was delicious too but dint have a thick consistency. Also tried their white chocolate pastry called the Snow White. Super soft and delicious!
The pricing is on the higher side but worth a visit to just try out their hot chocolate!
You should definately try hot chocolate and Italian coffee caramel shake here. Loved them. Nice ambience would love to come back here to try other options

Wanted to try this place for so long time. Finally I went last week. The place was small but ambience was awesome. They had decorated there wall sealings with chocolate butterflies which was interesting to see. We ordered there MasterChef chocolate cake with chocolate popcorn which was full of dry fruits. I just loved eating it. We also ordered snow flakes cake and chocolate cake with ice cream. Everything was Soo good. It was full of chocolate chocolate and chocolate. Ambience - the place was quite interesting the upper roof of the place were filled with chocolate butterflies which quietly impressed me and they have seating inside and also outside with a road view.
I ordered for classic brownie with vanilla icecream , chocolate cheesecake and the MasterChef chocolate cake.
Classic brownie with icecream - the brownie's texture was crisp outside and soft inside and the vanilla ice cream over it made a perfect combination. The taste of the brownie was good and I liked it.
Chocolate cheesecake - this chocolate cheesecake cake with chocolate sause was good , but I personally felt that the taste of this cake was over cheesy than the chocolate taste.
MasterChef chocolate cake - This cake is the real MasterChef , its a overload of Belgium chocolate layered with sponge cake and it's decorated with fine chocolate shavings the taste of this cake was really yummy and delicious I really loved the chocolate tatse in every bite. A must try for chocolate lovers😍

Sharing my experience on this beautiful place: After reading many reviews on this place about the ambience and other things , as a Chocolate lover visited this place with much expectations and this can surely rated as Chennais one of the best chocolate cafes in town. Myself along with my two other friends visited this place on a Friday evening loved ambience with the chocolate quotes on the walls and decors.Though we were the only boys group in the cafe and all others were couples (as it is best place couples to go on a chocolaty simple date ) . Ordered a tri-flavoured tea, Cold coffee, and a cardamon flavoured tea along with this we ordered a Cheese cake which was perfect and a Double chocolate brownie with ice cream( this brownie was unique with the thick chocolate covered by the brownie and I loved it to the core). We had nice time overall , though its a pretty costly place for batchalores like me (irundalum enna Inga Dan daily ah varaporoma nu once in a bluemoon dana, when our friend is going to pay the bill🤣😂🤣) . Total bill came around Rs.1100(Ida vechi naanga Oru maasam fulla enga area tea kadaila tea kudikalam feeling was going inside me while paying 😂)
Please note: perfect place for couples and family to have a Chocolaty evening time.

I have been to zuka in both pondy And chennai. They are able to maintain their quality . The desserts and pastries are to die for. Amazing flavor and good quantity and quality!!!!
Being a big lover of chocolates went to Zuka with lot of expectations. And was not disappointed. The sandwiches were just about ok. Guess the place is fine only for desserts. The 5.4 cold chocolate was just fine. But was highly priced for what they offer. Definitely not VFM. But the highlight was serendipity, it was splendid. Will go for it again. Service is pretty slow. Took 15 mins for the dessert to arrive. Good ambience. The management should also advice the staff not to talk on the phone loudly inside the cafe. It's really disturbing for the customers inside.
Love the desserts and hot chocolate at zuka! I would always go to pondicherry and have desserts at Zuka. Was delighted when they opened an outlet in Chennai.
I only wish they had breads and croissants at the chennai outlet too!
Do try the chocolate pakodas as well!

All the chocoholic ppl out-there, zuka’s signature menu , the 54 DEGREE HOT CHOCOLATE! This small portion of the drink gives you comforting delicious and what not! Additional to it they give you edible chocolate spoon and two dark-coco balls..I bet, you will be slave for SURE!
One of the best places for dessert in town. I was craving for chocolate croissant. Unfortunately, by the time we reached there, it got over 😞. We ended up ordering chocolate pie and mango something (forgot the name, sorry😂) and a cold coffee. Everything tasted yumm...
A place that's Dedicated for Chocoholics and anyone who is here will get addicted to Chocolate.
What I Had :
🌟 Heaven On Earth : A Huge fluffy , crumbled Brownie based cake topped with Chocolate shavings. that's quite the Satisfying dessert anybody can get.
Add On Chocolate sauce or Bitter Sweet Chocolate sauce to make the dessert more of an experience.
🌟 Serendipity : This dessert is quite a crafty one , a decadent Chocolate cake that takes the shape of a Well , and adding to the addiction is a Scoop of Vanilla ice-cream , top it off with Bitter Sweet Chocolate sauce and Brace yourself before you take the first bite.
Best brownie in town.. Chocolate lovers should be here definitely.. Chocolate ice cream you get here is the best.. You can also try some sandwiches here.

Premium chocolate experience good service peaceful ambience great place to hangout for chocolate lovers. Must try the hot chocolate it was an imersive and ipressive chocolate experience the non chocolate dishes are also terrific especially the flavored chicken fungi sandwhich felt very fresh any one whos reading this review if your looking for a coffee, chocolate or sandwhich dont think just go to zuka the four stars are because icouldnt give 4.5 thats because of the apple pie definitely keep it as a last try ruined the experience for me...oh and i forgot about the great music..enjoy

Kids to ultra legends the common attraction is the word chocolate. Zuka has a hell lot of chocolate attraction.. heaven I could say! Chocolate chocolate chocolate everywhere. Have even carved a statue out of chocolate! Even before trying out there dishes their wall hangings, creative statues, cute chocolaty butterflies on their ceiling and the overall interior attracts us a lot. They even have an outdoor seating.
Now coming to the taste. 😍😍😍 one of their signature dish, brownie with ice cream 😍🙈 omg, it’s top notch. It creates a drooling effect while pouring the chocolate syrup on to the ice cream kept above the brownie. Rich in chocolaty.
Here comes the chocolate cappuccino.. 😍😍😍 Worthy drink from them. Heavenly chocolate + coffee flavor.

Really tasty desserts - tried out their choco orange and choco almond mini bites. Tea was average - well they pride themselves on coffee anyway. Give it a whirl when you're there!

There are varieties of tea, coffee, milkshakes , sandwiches , snacks besides the awesome chocolate creations.
Have tried the : Awesome Ferraro which was absolutely awesome must try , Heaven on earth was too sweet and it was more of sponge cake (plus they charge on any extra sauce/topping so be careful on that)
They also have small edible chocolate spoons which can be bought home and gifted to any chocolate lover
Overall a nice place to hangout with friends over some awesome chocolate.

-Ambience - 4/5 U can sit inside the cafe , they have chairs on the outside if u like it too ..very spacious and makes u feel the warmth of the Chocolate.
-Service - 3/5 The service wasn't exactly a pleasant experience. The waiter mistook my order and was reluctant to take back a drink , the drink being delicious is a whole different story .
-FOOD-4/5- this place serves the best chocolate in town ..THE BEST ....and the desserts are top class ..though a bit on the costlier side , the beautiful ambience justifies the price tag . Other mini bites are not worth mentioning..
Warning: This place is too good. The 54° hot chocolate is the best hot chocolate and you might not stop at one:) Don't say I didn't warn you! Value for money is decent.
Dish-Heaven on earth(a perfect dessert for the perfect date) u just start mourning when the taste buds feel it
