What happens when a group of cousins get together? Soon they crave for something or the other. This time for my cousins it was ice cream and therefore as this place is quite close to my home, we headed here.
It's situated near KC Das in a street off the Ormes Road. It's done entirely in a wooden based theme and had round wooden tables, benches and stools to have your ice cream on.
What did we try?
Nutella Waffles : Hands down this is one of the best places to try waffles. It was generously spread with Nutella and served on top with ice cream. The maple syrup and waffles were yumm.
Tiramisu ice-cream : Had the distinct coffee flavour. But the only disappointing factor was the usage of sugar sprinklers. They are quite irritating when you want to feel the ice cream melting in your mouth. Maybe kids will appreciate it more better than us.
Butter Crunch ice-cream : Yes, butterscotch flavour. But this was taken to a next notch!
On the whole this is one wonderful place to have ice-cream and other desserts. Totally going back.
Ice cream lovers in the house make some noise. Yippee! We want ice cream, we love ice cream! Haha
Located in Kilpauk(the street right opp hotel paramount) it’s easy to locate.
Ambience : Its a small cute joint which can accommodate roughly 15 ppl to the max, with some decent ambience. I
Nitrogen puffs is something they were very famous for, but I guess it’s a bit of a disappointment now, they have temporarily stopped it. But trust me, they have other things to cover up with.
They serve waffles, sundaes, shakes and many more.
We had, lemon grass, chilli basil, coconut sundae, waffles with Nutella. I would rate a 4 for their menu.
They are planning to shift to Anna Nagar soon(date not confirmed yet)

If you want to get high by dessert this is the bar which you want to visit
My favorite dessert place in Kilpauk, have been to this place many times since I stay near to this place.
This place is located right opposite to the paramount hotel, and place is so small hardy 25 people can fit in. Coming the ambiance even though is small I liked Thier ambiance alot with crazy n innovative wall hanging sure u will love this place for sure
Coming the desserts: I have literally tried everything out here. Let me share some of the things which I really like.
Chilli basil: have you ever had a spicy ice cream ? Still wondering how it will taste just grab a scoop of it and try it.
It will give you a hot and cold flavour.
Lemon grass: lemon grass are quite popular in thai n Chinese restaurant how about having it in an ice cream ? The moment I had the first bite I could feel hell lot of refreshment in it. The flavour was too good u can actually like Ur eating the lemon grass. It's surely a nectarious scoop for sure
In waffles kindly try the royal, they were too generous in adding up the Nutella into the waffles with vanilla scoop and with maple syrup. It will give u a unique taste u will love it for @sure
Last but not least the "nitrogen puffs" no words to explain it. You can try it if Ur crazy enough to eat a deep frozen puff corn with smoky somky feel.
Overall this place is my fav on currently they are moving it to Anna Nagar.

Had a great experience, the desserts were awesome and the service was good, even the ambience is also very good. It has parking facilities:)
Amazing place! Lovely creations and splendid taste. The ice cream melts in your mouth and the milkshakes are too sinful to resist. A must try for frozen lovers.
This place is well located and the ambience is pleasing. However, the seating capacity is less and a bit congested. The desserts we ordered tasted okayish. Nothing WOW in here. Hope they improvise.
Want to end 2017 with overloaded creamy desserts. Visited this place quite near from my home. Too much of affair towards the waffles. Ordered the royal from hot waffles and for the sundaes special opted the red velvet. The royal has a base of hot choco waffle topped vanilla ice cream 🍦 drenched in a chocolate sauce along with chocolate chips sprinkled on it.For the extra touch maple syrup was given which gives a kick taste to it .The waffles was moist n fluffy with crispy corners. Option was given either chocolate/vanilla cream topped for the waffles. A single spoon of taste felt like a whole lot of heaven. For the happy sundae ordered red velvet. It was platted with strawberry 🍓 cake 🍰 taste like a normal pastry along with a whipped cream in centre topped with sprinklers. Given with vanilla ice cream 🍦inside was a red velvet pastry. Tat was gud to taste. Can be visited on lazy Sunday noons or Saturday nites .
Tiramisu , butter crunch and Nutella waffles!
First time visiting here! And they have the best desserts! The tiramisu arrived first with a vanilla spongecake! It was amazing Butter crunch is butterscotch ice-cream filled with pralines and cadbury chocolate. And then came Nutella waffles! Definitely saved the best for last! It came with maple syrup. It was heavenly. Strongly recommend!
Price:Rs.400 for 2.
Hit This Place On the 31st of December.
It was probably the best decision to end the year here.
Located in Kilpauk,Rite aside KC Das,The outlook of the parlour is mindblowing. This place comes for a rescue,in a place like Kilpauk, where it's difficult to locate a dessert parlour.
About the place:
The place isn't very spacious. It barely accomodates 10-12 people at a time.So it does no good for Gang Plans.
About the food :
We had ordered the Butterscotch and brownie shakes. They seem to be in a small jar but are thick and easily filling.Probably, base of all the shakes is vanilla and it's just the additional flavour and toppings.
The Worth :
The shakes are priced at approximately ₹200 each, And The quantity seems to be less, for that paid.
Concluding-Would be a good choice for the sweet toothed and small get together's. :)
This is place is pretty easy to locate with the help of Google maps. It was pretty crowded when we went there. Our order was dry fruit delight, red velvet, roasted almond and banoffee. The red velvet was the worst of all. It was just plain vanilla ice cream with red velvet cake chunks here and there. It was a big let down. Coming to roasted almond it was okay when compared to red velvet but wasn't that good. Dry fruit delight was decent, nothing much to say about it. The star of the day was banoffee. It was the best of all the dishes that we ordered. I won't say that it was the best waffle that I have tasted so far but it really wasn't the worst.
Chennai’s best place for having a waffle . You wouldn’t be able to finish even one on your own as the quantity is so much and if requested they even give you a small glass filled with chocolate sauce . The waffles here are super delicious and filling . Freshly made at the counter . Even their ice cream rolls are delicious. The staff here are very very friendly and make sure you had enjoyed the waffles . The price is also reasonably good from all the other waffle outlets and even the quantity is more than the rest . Would definitely recommend any waffle lover to visit this place .

Best place to hangout with friend and loved ones
Variety of ice cream which is served with good quality reasonably priced
The best place to experiment ice creams
Good ambience, decent service, the food here was good, I had the chocolate lovers and a waffle, the waffle was epic. They didn't have mug shakes when I went, so, I couldn't try any, but everything else was good. :)
Tried Chocolate lovers ice stone creations and Choco coffee milkshake. Both were so good. Wanted to try the ice cream rolls but unfortunately it wasn't available. A definite try place, don't miss out the yummy ice cream here.
Overall rating 4.5/5
Food 4.5/5
Ambience 4/5
Service 4/5
Ambience is great
It's a new try
Though the place is small it looks catchy
Waffles were too good ✔️
Ice creams should have more flavors maybe
The nitrogen dessert was good it wasn't an icecream tho more like a fun snack
P.s nitrogen intake is not good too often
Over all it was great
Can visit again for waffles..❇️
As a dessert lover, I visit multiple places to experience the different varieties that restaurants offer. This is one such cute place which is compact and loved the art as a part of the decor. Plating of the dessert was done well. Can improve on the quality of the items though. The brownie wasn't that warm and soft. Rest all, good.
They have done a good job in setting up this tiny dessert parlor.
Wooden tables, wooden chairs, 'brick' wall on one side and a 'chalk board' on the other makes the interiors interesting
I feel the pricing is okay. I ordered 'The Royal' Waffle and Tiramisu Sundae. Both of them were eye candy. The waffles were warm but the cake was cold.
Would have been better if the vanilla sponge cake served with the sundae wasn't so dried out. This is a common mistake many dessert parlors seem to make.
That being the only bump in the road, this place is smooth drive
A very calm place to njoy ur ice cream.fits into ur budget.i tasted icecream rolls and liked the one with peanut flavour.must try in the city for all dessert lovers
Do you crave for icecream rolls, mugshakes, nitrogen icecreams, natural icecreams? 😍 This place serves it all! It's a small place with neat interiors. They serve a variety of rolls, shakes and natural icecreams and they taste amazing. We ordered Oreo rocher love with some chocolate sauce drizzled upon it. Strawberry madness which is a strawberry milkshake topped with strawberry icecream served in a mug. The cookie burst icecream was served in a cup with biscuit wafer. All of them tasted so good 😍
The only con is the the place is small, noisy and also had mosquitoes.
The bill was 670 for the above mentioned items.
Great place with wonderful ambience.. Great wooden and brick work.. Many different type of icecreams are available with a great taste.. Improvement should be done on milk shakes.. Overall its a wonferful experience so one can visit with their friends or family..
When it comes to creativity and concept, this place deserves a big thumbs up. The waffle ice and the rolls are very yumm here. The ambience is cool.
Kilpauk does not have a dessert parlor and this place comes to the rescue..! Located next to KC Das in the road opposite to Hotel Paramount, this place has all kinds of desserts under one roof. They have stone creations, waffles, shakes and rolls.
Soon after this place opened I immediately wanted to visit this place, being near my college.!
A cozy little place with very good interiors and ambience. As u enter you will be welcomed by Vidya Vox songs playing in a huge screen..! Limited seating capacity which may be a con.
We ordered only rolls and the Pan flavour is my personal favourite.
💫 Nanatella - A combination of banana 🍌 and Nutella. Both the flavours went well together.
💫Paan- the taste of the fresh betel leaves stands out and if u are a Paan lover..do try this one
💫chocorilla- chocolate 🍫 based with almonds and hazelnuts with a drizzle of chocolate.
The rolls were served in a pan, the quantity is more than u get in many places and the taste is also decent. Overall..worth the cost.
The place is quite small! Limited seating. On a busy day one might have to wait for seating. Great variety of food. The staff are quite friendly. Sadly the Television was really loud had to ask them to reduce it. Food wise...The Nutella Waffle was amazing...they mash up a brownie and sprinkle it on top of it. The ice cream used is creamy and has an amazing taste. Had the cookies and cream mug Shake was pretty good. Finally The Nitro Brown... Wasn't as great as I expected, but do try it out for yourself. I Would go there again. It was worth the money.
The Scoop Bar is nicely tucked away in the silent street of Kilpauk. It is spared of the hustle & bustle of the high street.
I had Brownie Milkshake which tasted yummy with edible little pieces of colored chocolate around the rim of the glass. The milk used tasted premium & it did fill my tummy. On the other hand, my friend Subramanian Subbu had The Royal (ice cream with waffle). It tasted very good. In terms of quantity it deserves a few more ingredients/toppings to be worth the price.
Ambience - 4.5/5
(the wall cushions will feel better if placed on seats as well :) )
Taste/quality/hygiene - 4.5/5
Value for money- 4/5 (slightly marked down prices will create more patrons of the first time customers)
The Scoop Bar is a must visit place for those looking for best of ice creams & milkshakes.
Must try the strawberry cheesecake ice pan roll it is awesome and sublime, the waffles have been hit in this place, the outstanding waffles from my experience will be available the nutella spread waffle and the royal waffle are superb and tasty and delicious, and people must also have sccop bar sundaes that is the red velvet in the plate there will be red velvet strawberry cheesecake vanilla ice cream with red velvet cake sponge in small pieces and cream with sprinkles this the the best and signature dish in this place, the recommendation is the price can be less than what they are selling but overall it is very well deserving place for the people to come here and have desserts and who are fond of it.
One of the best places for ice cream during late night . Located in the main area so easy to locate .

The waffle delicacy made me visit the place twice in a row!
The choco puff and the one with cheetos was fun to eat
Best hangout place 😍
Don't miss the waffles
A must visit place for all ice cream lovers.. You will not be disappointed here. They have great variety and the quality is also good. It's difficult for the staff to handle rush on Sundays.
5 Oct 17, my second visit was much delightful. On a week day this place was much peaceful and Quantity was also more. This time again we had The Royal- It was as tasty as we expected. This time we tried The Red velvet cake- was also good. Butterscotch Icecream was just amazing.. It was fresh, thick and tasty.
Wish there are some offers on the billing.. so that it's easier to visit again and again..
Love the desserts at The Scoop Bar! The service is timely and staff are very friendly. Definitely recommend trying 'The Royal' creation. The combination of Nutella, Ferreros, ice cream, and maple syrup on a warm waffle was too good!! A nice place to hangout with family and friends!
My cousin and I came here to the place to challenge who can eat the maximum ice creams.
We got one from each variety
Got Oreo rocher love - roll - was super awesome.
Mango - natural ice cream - was good.
Cookies milkshake was awesome.
Red velvet was awesome too
We finally ended it chocolate lovers.
We had an amazing time.
The number of seating is limited which will be a con.
Otherwise this place is just perfect heaven
The ice cream concept it literally good. Very yummy and soft scoops. Milkshakes can be made better by reducing cream part. Ambience was also quite good.
Such a nice place ! The waffle ice cream was such a delight. A must visit place. The service was out of the world. It's right next to my home.

What would it be like if all the types of desserts were available under one single roof?
That'd be fudging awesome. Because a place having everything is considered to be cool. The Scoop Bar at Kilpauk has all of it - Ice Stone Creations, Sundaes, Rolls, Milkshakes, Waffles and some nitrogen based fun loving stuffs too. Since it's called bar, you get stamped with their logo once you enter there.
Located in Kilpauk in the same building as KC Das, not very difficult to locate. And since it's inside a street - parking isn't a problem too. The ambience is simple and the place can accommodate about 30 people at once. As soon as your enter, there's the counter on your right with all the awesome ice-creams and chocolates in the world which I'd any day plan a robbery for. At the end of the room is a TV playing Vidya Vox songs which I did want to break after a point of time because we had had too much of Vidya Vox and it just didn't sound pleasant anymore (sorry about that)
Since they've got multiple categories, we had their best from each of them.
In the rolls section, we ordered Oreo Rocher Love which had Chocolate ice cream with good enough amount of Oreo and Ferrero Rocher topped with choco chips. Being a chocolate lover I loved this one but I enjoyed the paan one more where plain vanilla ice cream is beaten along with pan leaves, gulkand and loads of tutti fruity.
Under the Ice Stone section, we had Caramel Frost, Country Coffee, Chikki Chikki and Let's Mango.
Caramel frost had some good salted caramel ice cream topped with caramel sauce and roasted cashews and being a caramel ice cream lover I totally loved this until the country coffee was brought on our table - with coffee ice cream with toasted almond and chocolate fudge. This was quite strong and I loved it to bits. Let’s Mango had mango and vanilla ice cream topped with mango sauce and pieces. This was fresh and tasted great. Chikki chikki was loaded with peanuts and caramel sauce. And I loved this too.
We had two unique flavours - lemon grass and chilly basil. I liked both of them.
We had some of their mug shakes as well - coffee chocolate milkshake and cookies milkshake. Both had a lot of whipped creamed when compared to the flavours.
Then came the red velvet sundae where there was a scoop of red velvet served along with strawberry cheesecake. The ice cream tasted great while the cheesecake wasn't very great. And the presentation too. Strawberry sauce overdose.
Then came the waffles. Two of them. Banoffee had Nutella with banana slices and icebream to go with. The royal had two tiny pieces of Ferrero rocher and Nutella on the waffle with rich dark chocolate sauce served along with maple syrup. I didn't find it very great, it was okay.
At the end came a nitrogen dessert. Bowl filled with corn puff, water and rolls on which liquid nitrogen is poured so when you eat, smoke comes. I didn't find it great. It was burning the tongue tip after a point.
The staff was really friendly and the service was quick. Loved the desserts. Coming back again.
Prices aren't mentioned because this was over an invite.
I did a take away of the chikki chikki and it costed about 250. Which is reasonable.
The Scoop Bar aka 'TSB', well at first some ppl thought it's my restaurant as it has My Initials in it. Haha. Anyways, To Gel with its name consisting "Bar", They ink you with a bar license before you start.
TSB is now a new addition to the chain of restaurants in Kilpauk.Located very to Kannapa's Dosa place and Fusilli Reasons, It surely has nailed the location.A to-go Dessert bar after good lip smacking food.
Some of we foodies were invited to try this place.
A cosy yet brilliantly put-up place which is narrow and can occupy around 30 ppl at a time.
They have different form of Ice creams,ie, ice stone creations, The rolls, Waffles, Monster Shakes, And the trending liquid Nitrogen desserts.
We tried a wide spread,
Rolls :
Oreo Rocher | Paan Roll
Oreo and Fererro Rocher smashed well and blended into one and made into rolls.Could feel the chunks of rocher in it.Good one.
Paan lovers will love the paan roll ice cream. It had natural paan taste in it.
IceStone Creations :
Chikki Chikki | Lets Mango | Country Coffee | Caramel Frost | Chocolate Lovers
Chikki ice cream blended with peanuts and caramel sauce. Good but not great.I loved the Let's Mango which was a blend of mango and vanilla ice cream with white chocolates and actual bits of mangoes. Chocolate Lovers was my fav among the list. Chunks of brownies blended with fudge. Every spoon of this felt heavenly. Caramel Frost did not appeal to me much.A coffee lover would surely love Country Coffee.
Scoops :
Lemongrass | Chilli basil
These both are part of their sundaes but we had it as their scoop. Exotics I would say. You won't like them unless you are someone who gets oddly satisfied by trying something different. I wouldn't recommend this as your regular order but go for it if you like experimenting.
Maybe as a sundae, It would please you better.
Sundaes :
Red velvet
My most favourite among all the things we had. Most recommended. Red Velvet ice cream with Strawberry Cheesecake topped with strawberry sauce. So good.Give it a shot and I'm sure you won't regret and come back again just for this.
Mug Shakes :
Cookie Milkshake
Wasnt the best I would say but was decently good enough.Could have been better with more of cookies in it.
Waffles :
The Royal | Banoffee
They have good waffle choices.
The Royal, For the Chocolate lovers, Fresh waffle layered with Nutella and hint of Fererro rocher topped with ice cream. Good one.
Banoffee wasn't much of my liking as it lacked in something that could make this better.
We tried their Nitro puff dessert. Corn puffs and waffles drenched in Liquid nitrogen. This dish is purely for the aesthetics. You can't expect something Tasty out of it. But! It surely will satisfy your camera lens. :D
Currently the best Dessert option around this area I would say. Go for it.
Ice cream : 👌
Ambiance : 👍
Service : 👍
The number of restaurants opening up around the city has hiked up so much. With this a happy news is we have another dessert place in the most happening place in Kilpauk , Ormes road. Which almost feels like food street of the locality to me now :p The scoop bar is right next to KC Das. The interiors have been kept simple with wooden furniture and cute hangings on the wall. Since it's a bar, when you enter they stamp your hand with the logo so you get the feel. Haha. Yes.
Best part about The Scoop Bar is they have everything one could crave for in desserts , cold stone ice creams, ice cream rolls, sundaes, waffles and monster shakes. So we don't have to go all the way to Alwarpet for some delicious cold stone ice creams.
We were here for a tasting session and tried most of the flavours.
The ice cream rolls we had were Oreo Rocher Love and Paan rolls. The Oreo rocher as obvious as its name was a mix of Oreo and rocher nicely garnished with some chocolate tasted so chocolaty. Paan is not my flavour but the others liked it.
From the cold stone section we had,
Let's mango
Chikki
Caramel custard
Country coffee. All of these lived up to expectations. Each one tasted better than the previous. Let's mango had some Banganapalli mango dices in it. Chiki had peanuts. I'm not a very coffee coffee person when it comes to ice cream so I didn't really enjoy the country coffee. The taste was good tho.
Lemongrass and chilli and basil were the premium scoops we tried. It would suit your pallet if you like experimenting with flavours. Not something I would recommend. Among shakes we tried the Cookie Monster Shake which was sweeter and the thick shake. The thick shake was a better choice. Monster shake as usual was overloaded.
The best of the lot and a must try would be the strawberry cheesecake with red velvet ice cream. This was the best among whatever we had. The red velvet ice cream was just perfect with bites of the the red velvet cake and the creamy favour. The strawberry cheesecake added up to it.
Waffles we had were the Royal waffle and the banana waffle Nutella. The waffle was soft and crisp and hot. The Royal waffle instantly became my fav which was garnished with some chocolate and Nutella and served along with maple syrup.
Do visit them to satiate your dessert cravings and try the red velvet ice cream. The scoop bar is my Go-to dessert place now on.

Scoop bar is jus a street away and tried it for a dessert session after a heavy zaitoon dinner. The ambiance is top notch. The small space is well utilized along with car park. The flavors and types are one of a kind. The service was also impeccable. They gave a special cup of sprinkles alone for my kid. The interior is done well. The way they prepare the rolls are a feast to eyes. Above all the prices are very reasonable. Will definitely come back and recommend.
The place is located in the streets of Ormes Road, Kilpauk but it has managed to attract huge number of customers! 👀😍
When we made a visit to the place at around 11pm, we were under the impression that it would be deserted, but to our surprise the bar was fully crowded with people and there were also people waiting for their turn!
The place is really small and very nicely furnished with only about 15-20 pax to accommodate and they had only 2 ppl to prepare and serve the ice creams. 😞
But then, talking about the ice creams, they're yummilicious!! 😋😘😍
Awesome place with a little need to expand for their customer satisfaction. 😊
Went with my family. Nice ambience, courteous staff. The choice of ice creams are great. Loved the paan roll and the Coconut flavoured scoops they're delicious!. The waffles was great too! Must visit place if you want to have change from the regular ice cream offerings. Do try the Nitro Coco puffs!! Kids will enjoy!
The joint offers waffles and ice cream based desserts. I haven't really got a chance to try out there ice cream creations but the waffles are nice and soft. The only thing is if the place gets crowded then you might find some problem finding a seat since the outlet as such is quite small. Do give this place a try if you are looking for some waffle dessert or even just ice cream.

Scoop bar is an enthusiastic compact dessert parlor that offers you everything under one roof. From ice creams to mugshakes to eggless waffles and liquid nitrogen based food, scoop bar plays it all really well.
Justifying their name,
They have a stamp to mark that you were there. That was cool.
The place is concisely packed and they keep playing really loud music.
Moving onto the orders
First among the many was the Oreo Rocher Love. Chocolate ice cream base. Crushed Oreo and ferrero rocher topped with choco chips. This icepan roll made a great treat.
Let's mango : Seasonal fruit based. Cut pieces of mango and mango sauce together complemented the taste.
Caramel Custard : Icecream with roasted nuts and caramel sauce. Soft and densely tasteful.
Country Coffee - Rich coffee icecream. Too strong a flavour. The roasted almond and the syrup blended so well.
Paan ice cream - base was vanilla icecream with fresh gulkhand and along with tutty fruity. This was appealing and reviving. Loved it.
Chilli basil and lemon grass - These two sundaes dint go well with me.And apparently the only pullback item on the table were these.
Red velvet ice cream and strawberry cheesecake- A huge fan of red velvet myself, loved the icecream. But the cheesecake wasn't actually cheesecake to me. It was hard inside out and lacked texture.
Chikki chikki was good and disappeared in seconds without making to the photograph.
Mugs Shakes :We tried Cookie monster and coffee Choco shakes. Liked the cookie monster better. But both of them had too much of whipped cream. Cookie shake infact could have been more cookie taste. Nevertheless both of them were good.
Waffle : We ordered The Royal waffle and Banofee. Both the waffles were eggless.
Banofee had cut bananas and ice cream on top adorned with choco syrup. Loved it.
The royal - Taste was so rich. With the ice cream and a suffice amount of maple syrup this was so delicious. Too little syrup and the waffle could actually be blunt. But loved both equally.
Scoop bar is a must visit for all those sweettooths out there.
Happy ice(s)creaming :)
Knowing that this shop will be opened till 1 am visited this at around 12 am, the shop was located at sylvan lodge colony near to ormes road, we ordered nitro brown, chikki chikki, chocolate lovers, nitro brown was not worth for Rs.170 and i disliked it... The ambience of this place is good.
The best ice cream parlour which i ever went.
Taste is very good and indoor of parlour is very much attractive and comfort to sit and taste..
price is also decent.
THE MOST WANTED ICE CREAM.
Nice ambiance, brilliant choices, good value for money and excellent experience overall. Definitely, recommend to all the families. Try the Stone Ice creations and Nitrogen Pops! Delicious and Yummy! Can't wait for my next trip!
Best desserts I have had in a while.
Theme: Old West. With bar stools and all.
Food: Was amazing. Waffles to die for.
Do try out their Nitro specials.
PS: The only reason I am not giving a full 5 is because their card machine broke and had to pay by cash.
10/10 would visit again.
Best ice-cream rolls in Chennai... nitro brown( nitrogen ice cream) was a very new experience! They r open till 1am at night... Great ambience and cheerful staff are additional things that need a mention.Salai Sudhan
placed in easily accesible location and has a good ambience.. it was a new experience having liquid nitrogen dessert..the icepan rolls were awesome..
The pan ice cream is phenomenal !!
Superb interiors and good team, lovely ambience .
It's in a quite corner next to KC Das kilpauk. They have some amazing flavours. Must try.
Friendly staff and good ambience had an excellent treat to the taste bud
Enjoyed by all our club members on our GB meet😇😍🙏. must visit place
Good ambience , courteous staff and pretty decent ice creams. Different styles of ice creams - roll , cold stone, nitro. Certainly a "must try" place.
We went to scoop bar last week.
Had Nutella waffles and some death by chocolate sundae .
Really liked the taste. You should definitely try this place. Lot of options are available. Parking is not a problem and also the ambience is descent..

Everyone likes Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and The Aquaman. They are famous Superheroes with their own specialty. How will it be when they all get featured in the same film? Cool? Yeah.
Yes, a place having everything is considered to be cool. The Scoop Bar at Kilpauk has finest desserts you can imagine; Ice Stone Creations, Sundaes, Rolls, Milkshakes, Waffles and even Nitrogen Pops. The place is small yet filled with love. They have a unique hand stamp that will be put in customer's hands, it’s an ice cream ‘BAR’ so yea you get stamped.
Thanks to google maps for navigating me to this dessert parlor. It’s marked right on spot in google maps. The ambiance of this small shop is kept very simple and they have focused on the most important thing desserts. They have a huge TV on the end of the restaurant; they play video songs in it. They should play something more than Vidya Vox collection too. It became boring after a point.
We ordered from all their categories, we had;
Rolls:
Oreo Rocher Love – Chocolate ice cream with oreo and Ferrero Rocher topped with choco chips. This was creamy and was just perfect.
Paan- vanilla ice cream is the base mixed with beeda leaves, gulkhand and tutty fruity. What a flavor! had the taste of this ice cream until the end.
Ice Stone Creations:
Caramel Frost – Salted caramel ice cream topped with roasted cashews and caramel sauce. All salted caramel ice cream lover will be pleased to have this.
Let’s Mango – Mango and vanilla ice cream topped with mango sauce and pieces. This was fresh and tasted great. As a Mango lover, I loved this creation.
Country Coffee – Coffee ice cream with roasted almond and choco fudge. Oh yes, I love Coffee too. The flavor was so strong I couldn’t get a taste of other ice creams.
Chikki chikki – Chikki ice cream with peanuts and caramel sauce. This was simple yet we all liked it.
Waffles:
Banoffee – Waffle with Nutella spread topped with banana slices. Eggless waffle topped with banana slices and ice cream. This was simple and good.
The Royal – Waffle with Nutella spread with crushed Ferrero Rocher pieces and dark chocolate sauce. Maple syrup is served along with it. The name tells you how it would have been. This was grand and just awesome.
Mug Shakes:
Cookies Milkshake – Cookies with ice cream blended with a lot of whipped cream. Yes, it had more whipped cream than cookie cream.
Coffee choco milkshake – Coffee ice cream with chocolate sauce blended with a lot of whipped cream. The same problem in this, it had more of whipped cream.
Scoop Bar Sundaes
Red Velvet – Red velvet ice cream served along with strawberry cheesecake. The Red Velvet ice cream was yum and tasty while the strawberry cheesecake wasn’t up to the level.
Lemon Grass – Lemongrass ice cream, we didn’t like this flavor it was a letdown.
Chilly Basil – Chilly basil ice cream, in comparison with lemon grass this a bit better.
Nitrogen Dessert:
Nitro Puff – Corn puff, wafer, and stick immersed in liquid nitrogen. The special dish you get in each restaurant these days. Can’t actually review this, you have to simply enjoy it. :)
About service, they were friendly and served us the items in no time. The place is a nice hangout spot and will soon reach its height in no time. Will come back here in the nearest future.
My rating would be 4/5.
❤️ A new impressive all in one ice cream parlour in town ! 😍They have loads to offer from ice cream rolls, liquid nitrogen desserts to waffles, shakes and ice stone creations. The place was pretty easy to find with the help of maps. It’s a complete dessert place and since it’s called the scoop bar, they’ve even got their own unique hand stamp. 👍
❤️ A couple of us were invited to check the place out. The place is a bit small and can probably accommodate pax 30. The ambience is a vibrant fun set up with quirky quotes, sketchy walls and a huge television in one corner. 😇
🍦The first up was the Icepan roll : we got to try was the Oreo - Rocher love which was ice-cream rolls made with a chocolate base, ferrero rocher, chocolate chips, drizzled with chocolate sauce. It was so creamy, chocolatey and so hazel-nutty that it disappeared in seconds.🍫😮
🍦The next one was the strawberry cheesecake with red velvet ice-cream : Creamy cheese cake drenched in strawberry sauce along with whipped cream, fresh strawberry slices and some velvety red velvet ice-cream ! What else would anyone want ? 🤗
It is definitely a must try and was a perfect indulgent treat. The presentation of this was as pretty as a picture too.😍🍓
🍦Next one was the ever traditional paan ice cream rolls made with a vanilla base, beeda leaves, gulkhaad and tutti fruity. It was full of flavours and was too refreshing.😋
❄️From the ice stone creations we got to try:
🍦A Nut based creation called “Chikki Chikki”, basically chikki ice-cream along with peanuts and caramel sauce. If you like crunchy ice creams with caramel and nuts, this should undoubtedly be your go to.😇
🍦A Fruit based creation called “Let’s Mango”. This dessert is a perfect option to cool down with, on a hot day.The ice cream had a luscious creamy texture apart from all that goodness of mango and vanilla ice cream topped with freshly chopped juicy mango pieces. ☀️😍
🍦The next one was the “Country Coffee”, which was coffee and chocolate ice-cream along with roasted almonds and chocolate fudge. It had an intense filter coffee flavour and is perfect for caffeine addicts, like me.😍☕️
🍦The other one was the Caramel Frost which had salted caramel ice-cream, roasted cashews along with wafers drenched in caramel sauce. This one was a bit chewy.💛
🍦From the liquid nitrogen section, we tried the Nitro puff, a huge bowl of corn puffs, strawberry wafer and strawberry wafer rolls drenched with loads of liquid nitrogen. 😮And yes, it’s perfectly safe to consume because the nitrogen actually evaporates before being consumed. The nitrogen froze the puffs creating a fog like texture. Pretty spell binding with all that dragon breathing that we did with it.🔥😂
🍦From the Mug shakes we tried the cookie milkshake and coffee choice milkshake. I liked the cookie one better than the coffee. The Mug shakes also come with loads of whipped cream and gorgeous toppings like wafers, ferrero, oreos, kitkat drizzled with sauce.🍫🍪☕️
🍦The scoop varieties have some interesting flavours to offer such as the chilly basil and lemon grass😬. Both of them were savoury ice cream with minimal sweetness. They had a real citrusy flavour. Didn’t really work for me, but if you’re adventurous, then it’s a good option to go for.😛
🍦After all that stunning desserts, we tried out two of their really good waffles. The Royal and Nutella Spread. The waffles were soft and warm smothered with Nutella, Ferrero Rocher, brownies and loads of whipped cream, drenched with maple syrup / Hot fudge. They were so scrumptious.😍🍫
❤️Overall, a cute cozy place where you are spoilt for choices, which makes it an ideal spot for hangouts. Service was quick and friendly and prices are easy on the pocket too. 💰
New trending rolls, cold stone ,shakes, and waffles which is actually eggless
Must try
Cookie monster _ if your chocoholic definitely try this one
Mug shakes _ cookies and cream _ cookies d best part is they are making milkshake in natural ice cream more over enough quantity
Finally tried there hot eggless waffles
Royal waffles _ floppy and so soft made my day with choco chip, maple syrup scoop of ice cream nicely done
Kudos to the team for friendly service I'll definitely visit again for sure
Excellent desserts, service, and ambience everything comes together. Must try THE ROYAL waffle which was served with ice cream and maple syrup. The stone ice creams provides our taste buds with the perfect flavour which one is meant to have.
Must admit i was going to this place for first time with no great expectations. But i was proven wrong. I had pan roll ice cream & golkund scoop. Both of them tasted yummy & was better than a branded ice cream parlour The prices are resonable & quality is very good. Place is neatly maintained & staff were very polite. Must visit place with family or friends.
Great place for ice cream lovers!!!!!!! tried tender coconut and roasted almond, amazing flavors with cool ambience... wanna try all favors.
Visited with my Family, Simply in love with this place and i had tender coconut natural ice cream , My kids ordered Waffles and they enjoyed it. Menu was quite interesting with new flavors on it. Especially their Pan roll Ice cream was fantastic. The prices are very reasonable given their quality and quantity. This is a must try place for best ice creams in town.
Great waffles , excellent peanut butter roll ice cream and an exquisite variety of ice creams especially chilli Basil , Classic simple interior .
Yummiest stop shop to grab different varieties of icecreams, pancakes, waffles and so on and so forth. Good ambiance to get cool photos. Also has private spaces to enjoy your ice creams. Toppings of your choice could be added on asking how many ever times.
Just below the Mozza is the Scoop Bar, your ultimate place to be for desserts. It has Waffles, ice cream stones, ice cream rolls, mug shakes and much more.
We ordered Chocorilla and Chocolate Monster Ice Cream Roll. The former was better than the latter.
We also tried Spicy Strawberry ice cream roll and it was good. It tasted better as a drink though, but not asa an ice cream roll.
Butter Scotch Mug Shake is what we ordered next. It was so heavy, that you can't finish it yourself. And the presentation is crazy. So neatly and beautifully made with lots of whipped cream.
Oreo Waffles is what we tried next and I didn't like it. It was not the best I've ever had.
Happy eating!
The ambience was really good !! It was colorful and the place definitely brightens your mood !! The staffs were really sweet and they suggested things to try !! The quantity was bit too less , but it tasted really good !! It's a great place to hang out with your friends and chill out for sometime !! Their menu is also pretty good !! the ambience is their best part !! Should totally check it out !! It's way better than the traditional ice cream places in Anna Nagar !!

Nice place for ice creams. There's a wide variety of ice creams to choose from. The taste is really too good. Ample parking lot. Good service. Good place for bringing family and kids. Also good for quick desserts, dates, catch up with friends. Worth coming back again and again. Must try place for ice creams freaks.
I loved the dishes and the customer service is friendly and joyful. They provide nice d The waffles are quite big for one person.
Sunday is always a cheat-day especially when it comes to desserts. Hence, on a warm sunday afternoon I headed to this cute looking place.
They have a wide menu for Ice creams, Waffles, Pancakes and it’s really hard to settle for something when everything sounds good and looks delicious.
Chilli Strawberry Ice-cream Rolls was basically strawberry flavour Ice cream perfectly blended with Jalapeños to create the spicy flavour. This was something very new and exciting to try.
Royal Fruit Treat, a fruit based, ice-stone creation was a blend of Vanilla and Strawberry Ice-cream with Apple, Pineapple and Lychee. This was topped with strawberry sticks and served with a waffle base. Brilliant.
Royal Waffle, consisting of Nutella, Ferrero Rocher, Dark Chocolate Chips, was served with a scoop of Vanilla Ice-cream and Maple. Loved this one. Waffles were soft and very flavoursome.
Dark Passion Crepe, a thin pastry sheet rolled with Whipped Cream, Chocolate Sauce and topped with Cream and Chocolate Chips. This was very rich indeed. It was also served with Vanilla Ice-cream, Chocolate Sauce and Maple Syrup. Surely, the yummiest of them all.
Double-Chocolate Pancakes, very warm and fresh, were served with some delicious Chocolate Ice-cream and Chocolate Sauce. These were perfectly done and tasted extremely good.
Tender Coconut Ice-cream was very flavoursome. It was something very different and refreshing.
Butterscotch Mug-Shake, which was customised a bit on request, was topped with Whipped Cream, Oreos, Gems and Choco-sticks. Loved the taste and consistency. Extremely good.
Overall, a really good quantity for the price we paid. Totally VFM.
Their ambience and service is surely noteworthy. Also, an extremely good choice when you want to indulge yourself in some pocket-friendly Vegan Ice-creams, Waffles, Crepes and Pancakes.
We had a great time and the menu was medium sized as the most of the menu is not available.
Parking available

We ordered from all their categories, we had;
Visited The Scoop Bar last night and thoroughly enjoyed the desserts! The service was timely and staff were very friendly. Fell in love with 'The Royal' creation. Combining Nutella, Ferreros, ice cream, and maple syrup on a warm waffle was too good!! A nice place to hangout with family and friends, definitely recommend!

Scoop bar :
ambience and service was good.
price are quite reasonable
More varieties like ice cream scoop , milkshakes, roll ice cream
Really nice ice cream parlour. Their ice cream rolls are nice. Tried their pancakes this time around. They were yum.
Service could be a little quicker and prices a little low.
I visited this place alone on a saturday afternoon. The staff were welcoming, polite and courteous. I ordered pancakes with ice cream. The service was quick. Pancakes were tasty. I even ordered waffles with maple syrup for take away. Waffles were are also good. The only downside was that the waiter didn't have any idea about bill payment through zomato pro, so, I asked him to check with his superior authority regarding that but he said that he tried calling his superior but his call wasn't attended, so I ended up paying through another mode of payment eventhough I am a zomato pro member. No other issues. This shop has decent parking space. Would i visit this place in the future? Yes. And when I visit them the next time, I hope that all the staff in this place are aware of bill payment Zomato Pro. All in all a dessert shop with good food.
Be it Icecream scoops or rolls or stone creations, they have it all! The waffles are real yumm! If you are a chocolate lover, do try their chocolate creations.
The interior is casual and cozy. It is neatly maintained and the service is also good. Very courteous personnel.
