Thalappakattu - Chennai (Madras) - Photo album

1. Authentic Thalapakatti restaurant 2. Briyani taste was so rich 3. Side dishes and other foods were so good 4. Poor mutton kola urundai 5. Staffs were not so active
Looks very small from outside but enough space inside. Parking will be an issue. Food is good. Pepper chicken is must try item. Waiting time is around 15 minutes. Service could have been better.
Food was great.. but they took time to seve we had to wait a long time to get the food on table.
Dinner in at almost 10 pm . When we went briyani was completed. [Could be a circumstantial state] Recommended to go priorly if briyani is your choice . Dosa opinion tend to end by 9. You can still check with the waiter there. We had wheat and Ceylon parotta. Both were equally good . Mutto nenje
Special mutton briyani (boneless) was pretty good, it was served with mutton gravy and onion raita. Chicken briyani was also good but mutton beats all. The briyani was made from small variety of rice grain instead of the basmati rice. Each grain of briyani had this unique flavor.
A decent non-vegetarian hotel with tasty food menu. We with our family had Chicken biryani, mutton biriyani, chicken fried rice. Really good taste and the cost is also moderate. Now comparing to earlier the taste of food is good.
I have bad experience.. Like the items I asked is not available.. Why this point mentioned because after multiple times visit.. Every time I faced same experience... When we ask for the availability of the desired recipes they will say yes only initially.. But while ordering it will not be availabl
The service was good . The waiter name is Madhav,he is very polite and he did his job well. We were very hungery when well reach there. He attend us immediately and we got the food very fast and the bill as well . Briyani was excellent. Thank you
Fish fingers, murug fry chicken were really good. Baby corn Manchurian was too spicy. Could have kept the place little more clean. We saw couple of cockroaches.
Food taste and quality is good. But price is very high. For this price can visit around once per 2 months. If the price is reasonable then everyone can visit 2 to 3 times per month.
The food as usual was amazing. When in super hunger thalappakatti is always a go to place. Thank you for the good food and service!
The taste and quality of the biriyani is always awesome, me being a chrompet resident always feel happy and comfortable to have thalapakatti near me. Only concern is their space which is hard to park the car. Other than that i love it.
Wonderful food. Thalapakatti never disappointed us till now. We have aatukaal soup, tawa fish, brain fry, kola urundai, chicken black pepper fry. Each and every dish served hot and tasted delicious. Not felt any bad things in stomach after had all these. Service was quick and attentive.
The special boneless mutton biryani was quite impressive, accompanied by a flavorful mutton gravy and onion raita. While the chicken biryani was tasty, the mutton version outshone it. Interestingly, they used a smaller variety of rice grains instead of the usual basmati, giving each grain a distinct
Food tasty very good service is very best
