One of the best places for food in Chennai. Serving Chennaites for more than 50 years is not a joke and these guys maintaining quality for long as far as I know. Service during peak is let down, but not a concern though.

Hospitality is very good by Mr.Kanadasan.He make us so comfortable in dining and provides best suggestions in our preference of ordering foods.
Arranged a party with 50-70 guests. Food and coordination was amazing by Mr. Kannadaasan and team. Parotta and chicken 65 is a must try. So is the dessert.
The food was delicious and the workers were polite. I tasted tandoori platter and chicken 65 Briyani. Though the price was little bit high for me but it's totally worth it!

Ordered Chicken Ceylon parotta , Chicken Fried rice and Chicken Biryani from this restaurant ,,,,, Ceylon parotta was really worth....... filled up with minced Chicken , soft and tender........ Fried rice was the best .... I ever had in chennai........ Chicken biryani was good too...... Royal Falooda was Simply the Best ........ It could have been a bit spicy ...... Hope the management looks into it for upgrading the Biryani ..... In short totally VFM ....... would be back soon for relishing their lip smacking food one more time ......... :-)

This was the 3rd I am visiting this restaurant. Tasty food, good quantity, polite staff are the main attractions. The Grill Chicken was amazing.
I finally had their food.. My favourite is their Chicken Idiyappam Biriyani.. It was soo yumm .. Very subtle spice which wasn’t over powering, the chicken again was In lil pieces which s nice cuz in every bite I got the chicken.. Al Faham was ok to my taste buds because I felt the chicken was over cooked and Shwarma was goo too ..

The barbeque chicken here is to die for! It is the best I have had in Chennai. Reminds me of the barbeque chicken form Kozhikode, northern Kerala!

On my Birthday it's Sunday n without any plan we jus went for a drive ..and while searching for a nice Brunch buffet in Google we heard waffle House in adyar serves good brunch(since i love waffles thought of going thete but its bit late).though its sunday some restos(Rain forest adyar zaitoon, ab) said its full.booking closed
..Roaming here n there in adyar Finally we reached Teynampet(?!!!). Suddenly we Google it for buffet near us it shows Mainland China and Samco .. we choose Samco coz we had a horrible Experience in Mainland China (plz chk my 0 star review for Mainland China Teynampet.. pathetic service and tastes like defrosted food stuffs)

they said buffet on table and he gave me a menu..most of the Attenders n waiters r from Kerala.. (surprisingly very polite and too good ) we took our 9months old baby.. she was quite naughty but none of them showed their face .. instead they played with her and also they gave her veggies n fruits in a plate she was playing with those.. Kudos to the attenders and waiters..
after viewing the Menu (chk my photos i have attached it) we thought its very less and simple ...(we thought it wil be like coal BBQ or AB. lol )
but Attender said everything is Unlimited..u can have it as many times u wish !

BBQ chicken... Extremely good.. juicy tender succulent... mouth watering.. and i order it again(since im a very big BBQ lover) it was great ( better than zaitoon)..
they brought BBQ mushroom and it was too the core ..too good.
Gobi Manchurian dry was to die for.. we never tasted like it... top class. Hats off to the chef.( i had bad experience in mainland China Teynampet it stinks like they used some old oil)
Main course:
we were almost full. . though mutton kothu parota seems catchy so we ordered for it
it was soo spongy and lots of mutton piece's wete there and taste soo nice..
we said no nonto biryani and roti ..
Desserts:
brownie with ice cream after all these tasty food .we don't need much in desserts. but melting brownie was Awesome with ice-cream.
Happily 😄we Finished our lunch.. it was a pleasant experience with SAMCO teynampet..

Being a foodie, I have been very prompt in trying out new places during my chennai days, but somehow missed trying this popular restaurant. Caught up with cousins after a long time and we headed out to dinner quite late, around 10.15pm. The options were limited as many restaurants were closing pretty soon, so they suggested Samco which will be open till 12.
This place had already earned my cousins’ highest praise, which raised my expectations. I didn’t scout the menu for long, as I simply relied on my cousins for recommendations.
We ordered BBQ fish and crispy chicken lollipops as starters. The chicken arrived pretty soon and that really set the tone for the dinner. It was delicious! It tasted even better with the mayonnaise. While I was indulging in the taste, the fish arrived.
I don’t eat any meat except chicken but my friends and family have been insisting that I should try fish. I have tried fish a few times before but the smell of the fish had put me off on earlier occasions. Due to this experience, I was a bit sceptical about trying fish but I went for it. That was probably the best decision of the day! It tasted great with absolutely no smell...
Coming to the main course, we had ordered a hyderabadi chicken biriyani, semiya chicken biriyani, mughal chicken biriyani and mughal mutton biriyani. To compliment the biriyanis, we had ordered a pepper chicken gravy. All the biriyanis were of top quality and taste. My favourite among them was the hyderabad biriyani which was spicy and flavourful.
The semiya biriyani was quite a surprise as I had no idea how can a semiya go well with chicken but it was actually very good and unique!
The sweet lime soda was absolutely brilliant as well. We had no room for desserts, but I decided to come back here again to try out their other dishes.
Good service and awesome food. There are a lot of non veg varieties to try on. And can accommodate about 80-100 people. Have parking space for almost 4 cars and lots of two wheelers. Had an awesome day at Samco.

Had one unexpected great lunch here😁.There was a valet parking service which spared us the usual parking woes,that too on a rainy day.
We ordered a veg clear soup,Samco fried chicken,a kadai vegetable curry,a Malabar chicken curry and some idiyappams.
I have no complaints on the dishes served.Every single plate and bowl had lip smacking food with sufficient quantity. The Malabar chicken curry+Idiyappam combo was my fav😋. The fried chicken served along with Mayo and a salad tasted finger licking good with a crispy crust and extremely soft interiors.Loved it!!
The most impressive part for me was the service.Right from the time we entered to the time we left,all our needs were very intently catered to. All the waiters there were extremely courteous and attentive and are to be specially appreciated. 😁👏. Would most definitely frequent this place for sure!!😊
A good place to eat naan and prawns . All their dishes were amazing to eat . Even their dessert was so good and different . Fried was alone little bit salty .

It's a good restaurant for enjoying Arabian delicacies . Their roti items are good and all their signature dishes are best. Their samco chicken gravy goes well with royi n rice items. The ambience is good and hospitality is OK.

Right at the junction of TTK road and Eldam's, they are on a busy corner. Parking might have been a pain in the ass but thankfully, they have valet parking. The food is definitely good, their BBQs and grills deserve special mention. A place to go to for a quick, non-fussy meal.

The food is very average. Maybe because of the lunch crowd ( too many orders can overwhelm the kitchen) or if it’s just standard like this. The bbq chicken was oily , the mandi rice was pulao with a chicken piece on top. Didn’t enjoy both. But the staff are very polite and kind. So that’s a big brownie point.
Good was good, but service was slow. Didn’t like paneer sides but overall good experience. Ambiance was good and food was also good, try pasta if you are preferring veg food

The best in taste. We ordered malai chicken, tandoori chicken, paya soup, potato fry, kuthu parotta, naan roti and chilli chicken. There is no dish to complain. We had a good time. The best one is Malai Chicken. You should try 😍
My all time favorite restraunt in Chennai. I just can't describe how much I love this place and how many times I've been here. I always order chicken biriyani, Alfaham Dijaj and Arabian Grapes Pulp Juice and nothing fails to delight us. We recently tried Malabar chicken biriyani and it was awesome too. The quality has never gone down. This review is exclusively for the teynampet branch. Though I live at Velachery I've not visited their branch near Phoenix. I always visit the one near SIET.
Samco you legend...awesome food as always. Egg curry with wheat parotta hit all the right spot. Then the pepper bbq chicken was just incredible.
Food is good. Many varieties available here. Their kunafa is one of the best. Waiting time is a bit higher.

Taste and ambience is good. Samco is my all time favorite. As a food lover, I will expect that they should add more interesting varieties of food.
Location is very near to Teynampet metro. Parking space is available. Unfortunately their special Mutton Samosa and Dynamic Shrimp were not available. Ordered Kizhi Parota and it was superb. Paya was too strong for my taste buds. Chicken dum biriyani was okiesh. Staffs are very polite and helpful. Would like to explore this restaurant again.
