~Ambience 4/5
Pleasant ambience with lots of cartoons and caricatures. Lives up to its name - The 90s themed!
Chairs Tables look different, not the usual. So you will have a different feel inside
~Service 3/5
They are short-staffed, you will have to wait to call the bearer. Food takes long to reach your table. But you can have a nice long conversation with your friends until then.
~Food 4/5
May seem a little overpriced but there is no compromise in the taste. They have a wide variety in their menu.
Ordered Nachos for starters. BBQ Pizza is a must-taste here. They also have a variety of sub sandwiches, Pastas and Burgers
Hoping to visit soon and try more dishes!
The 90s cafe gives a lot of Yeh un dino ki baat hai feels. Good atmosphere, having bean bags gave a homely feel. Apart from pasta I loved everything here. The Peri Peri wings and BBQ wings were mindblowing😍😍 I loved the Thai roasted chicken. The dishes looked appetizing too.. My friends ordered Burgers and Pizzas and they seemed to love it too
The ambience is amazing giving all the right 90s vibes. But, the place could do with more ventilation (or air-conditioning).
The food was pretty good. The quantities were perfect for a single serving for a person with an average appetite. The Masala Penne was surprisingly extremely good, a fusion of South Indian with White sauce!
Do try out their specials.
Worth the money.
Would definitely visit again.!

A quiet well planned concept based cafe situated in a centre location. The 90s cafe is a well setup eatery in Anna nagar. The ambience and dining area is themed on the 90s cartoon. They have lovely paintings.
Cool place to hang out with friends. Includes certain Mexican dishes too. A tad long service time. But they more than make up for it with the taste.
The cafe is large and spacious. Different types of sitting arrangements are present as well as they comfortable. The food is average. The service is good. The graffiti on the walls are very attractive and unique. It is the main attraction of this cafe.
The 90s cafe santhi colony annanagar with their modified menu .with my friends went for a lunch last week .In the startes we tried chicken wings was so yummy..noodle varieties pasta and pizza was so tasty..price also very reasonable..A must try place .

The theme cafe based on your 90s memories is worth a visit.. The walls are decorated so perfectly. They have kept so many games including mario to cut your time. This place made me so nostalgic.
Opening their doors is surely opening yours to too many memories 😘😍 @the90scafe is in Anna nagar, and tops my list for the best places in Chennai.. Do try their pasta, caesar salad and Tiramisu Cold coffee.. .

Walk into this place and first thing that gets your attention is the 90s classics playing on the speakers..being a music lover, I was already hooked, cause the collection of music plus the overall theme of this restaurant wants you to stay longer than you intended. The food is another reason to stay ! The burgers and drinks compliment each other so well. Service was quick, the staff polite and respectful. I hope every food joint follows the 90s cafe and gives bean bags to sit on ! XD This is one fun place to hangout ! Hats off to the ppl, cause their passion for food is seen on the table when the food arrives ! Good job ! Keep it up ! 👍
Location - 3/5 Anna Nagar ..small entrance leading to a firstfloor beauty
Ambience - 6/5 ..yes I'm giving an extra mark ..they have a guitar if u love some music ..a video game of the 90s if u wanna try some contra ..and the bean bags to sit on ..and the paintings ..it was just beautifulious ..
Service-4/5 beautiful
FOOD - 4/5 cafe with sandwiches and pizzas and pastas ..food is nice ..
Worth for money -4.5/5
Reminds me of mumbai cafes. Cool and hatke ambience. Short and sweet menu.
Chicken nuggets - good
Milanese pink pasta - too good, must try
Napolitana pasta - good
Dont try burgers - very oily, thumbs down, tried 'carribean' and 'he who must not be named ' burger
Potters sandwich - good
Lemon ice tea - good
Bacon salad - thumbs down
Cold coffee - good
Mozarella pops - good but only 8 pcs
Chilli cheese toast - decent
Overall pasta is too good in taste with good quanity. In beverages lemon ice tea, cold coffee or tiramisu coffee wud be good. U can go for sandwiches also.
Visited the 90's Cafe on Labor Day.
The decor is reminiscent of the typical 90s, with sketches of 90s music artists hung on the wall and 90s music being played(well, mostly). Tyres were used as tables and beanbags as chairs.
We ordered Chicken Nuggets and Mozzarella Pops as Starters. The Pops were pretty much what you would expect.
For the main course, we ordered the He Who Must Not Be Named burger and Escobar's Favorite Veg Burger. The Escobar burger, though was messy, tasted fine. It was a little bland in my opinion. The highlight was when we were served candy with the bill. :)
Overall, a nice place to hangout with a bunch of friends.
I had been here on a Friday Evening. The cafe was literally empty when I went there but the service and food were not compromised.
I had the Potter Deluxe Sandwich and
Cookie Delight Shake.
I loved the ambiance of the restaurant giving you the feel of a pure 90s ambiance.
If you were a person born in 90s you would love it. A great hangout spot.
The drink and the sandwich were good. And the service person did an incredible job. He was the one who served as well as cooked.
No comments regarding the cost as I bought this deal in nearbuy and it cost less than Rs.200 for both. Completely worth it.
Will come back for more.
If you are looking for a place to sit down and have a good quality time, this place is perfect. Went to this place with my friends, it has an 90's themed menu, Cartoons... movies..etc, Brings back childhood memories.
The food too is good, ordered Sandwich, Pasta, French fries. There are varities to choose from. Price is moderate. Worth a try.
Quiet decent food with decent ambience...... definitely deserve a second visit to try best in the menu........really have to appreciate the person who drew the interiors
Definitely deserve a second visit to this cafe to try more items in menu .ambience is classy and should really appreciate the person wo did the art...

If you are a 90s kid, you'll definitely be astonished by the it's ambiance. The wall were painted with our old memories like postbox which can found hardly these days, playing outside under tree with the swing, telephone, first evolution of computer, our favourite character characters painting, photography of cars, popular celebrity, they also had the big clock and also they have racked the books which belongs to 90s. Coming to the food, it did suprise me but definitely not as much as the
ambiance. We'd French fries which was served in a bowl, were the quantity was decent and crispy. Paneer sandwich was nice and filling. Cold coffee and hot chocolate could have been better. Overall a must try restaurant for all 90s kids and also for 20s kids to know how much colourful those days were compare to now.
Went to this place suddenly with friends as we were nearby and were looking for food. The place was empty but the food was moderately good. Good work on the decor. Very peppy. Overall not a bad place to hangout.
The best place to chill with friends. The best part of this place is the ambience. The service was a not slow but it's worth the wait. The taste of the food is on point to the max.
Headed here with buds for Easter dinner. A quiet well maintained themed cafe reminiscing 90’s memories.
The 90s crew took the endeavour to provide quality food and is beautifully paired up with an amazing indoor seating that promises to give you a great dining experience.
Of all, “Ultimate meat club Sandwich ” stands out to be the best for me! And i must say that
“He who must not be named Burger” is a must-try! Cookie’s Delight is definitely a brain freezer among beverages.
The cost-effective menu acts an added offering to us! Kudos guys! See you soon!
The food was just amazing especially for the new pricing. They have worked well to revamp their menu. The mini cottage cheese burger was flavoursome and worth the price. Overall amazing food and will definitely order again.
A quiet, well planned concept based cafe situated in a centre location,The 90's cafe is a well set up eatery in Anna nagar. The ambiance and dinning area is themed on the 90's memories and they sure lived up to the expectations. Wall art and photo frames all remind us o the days when we hadn't a worry at all. Kudos to that...
Coming to the food, well presented and to the point.
Had the club sandwich, and I have nothing but praise for the food. On a wooden board came four triangles of the sandwich that was one of the best I have had. Comfort food to the point. One point to look at is expansion of the menu a few more option and you guys are set for fame....well done
This place has not come to the notice of many ppl cuz of its location...! Though it is just n the main road, not that easy to spot...!Not much crowded..! Lovely ambience...! Loved the interiors that they made everythin cartoonic...! Food and the pricing was great too! Garlic parmesan fries wer dn good and white sauce pasta was finger licking good! 😋💙😍
Strictly for 90's kids😂😂❤

We ordered for Nachos with beef, Al-Pesto and cold coffee.
*NACHOS WITH BEEF*
Totally worth the price.❤Nachos were perfect and was topped with hell lot of Beeff😻😻served with their special dip♥😉But i felt that the beef had a lack of any flavour.
*AL-PESTO*
Pastaaaaaa❤❤It was so creamyyyy and Yummmyyyy😌😌😇Flawless blend of the sauce😋
COLD COFFEE was as usual thee besttt♥
Gotta try other interesting dishes on their menu😇
Yess.!!A veryy friendly service.😌Quickkk too😇And yes Theu do have a good knowledge of the dishes♥which is much needed when yu are confused what to order for😂♥
A very peaceful place to eat out🤗ambience is the best😇the paintings of the wall made me remember of my childhood days how i ran to home aft coming back to school to sit infront of the TV to watch my fav cartoon😍90s cafe u just rock.excellent service🍴food is yummy😋💯wanting to go again!
Amazing restaurant with 90s nostalgia and mouthwatering dishes to back it up .
Food is classic American cuisine with some variety of pasta 'The He who must not be Named' burger is amazing , fries and peanut butter milk shake are out of this world.
Service is also top notch.
Price is umm not cheap but not very expensive.
Do visit the place once , it was a nostalgic trip and a few cheeky Easter eggs hidden in plain sight about the 90s , one issue is finding the place it's in a small and obscure location and I really think the owners if reading should do something to make it more prominent.
The 90's Cafe ❤
90's themed restaurant with cartoon network wall paintings and a unique menu card that catches your eye. This is great place to hangout with your friends with bean bags for seating 😬😬! The ambience is good and the service is prompt with friendly waiters.
Coming to the food-
1) Hot Chocolate - Tasted really good. ( A certain need with the rainy weather). Thick and rich in chocolate with good consistency!
2) Ginger Parmesan fries - I've had them before at the same place. It was extremely cheesy. The second time though..there was barely any cheese. Tasted good. The quantity is great though. Extremely filling!
3) Chicken Croquettes - The best dish. It tasted out of the world and special mention to the dip too! ❤😍 A must try!
4) The 90's burger - Chicken burger that tasted decent.
Overall, the place seems a bit costly and might take a hit on value for money. But certainly, a must visit place with your friends to have a great time 😊😘

For people born & brought up in 90’s this is a must cafe. A perfect 90s themed cafe - where you can definitely relate with each abd every wall painting and fames put up. Food was equally good and it was worth the time and money spent - with your 90s buddies, because each person will have a diff version of thier story and together when shared - its another nostalgic moment down the lane.
Had a great time - twice👌👌👌
Very good ambience and it’s too perfect spot for relaxing. If you go with 2-5 people then this will be your perfect hangout spot.

Wowsome pastas, sandwich and shakes served in the ambience of 90's.
Versatile-- tender coconutshake, bolognese pasta and ultimate meet club sandwich
#yummypastawhitesauce loved it
Service- well , the restaurant's peeps were all chin chans and Ninja hattoris . So a lil miscommunication. Otherwise t'was all gud.
Food- quantity and the quality was appreciable.
Ambience - the reason for tat 3.5 rating. Yes, needs a lot of improvement and renovation on the ambience side.
As the name says, it's a place for a 90's kid to go and visit...
This place has a beautiful ambience with decorated walls and some interior decor which perfectly match the theme...Even the food there was amazing...we got some burgers...which tasted fine.. Get the "the one who must not be named burger" it's the best there...Ice tea also tasted decent..peanut butter shake wasn't anything great..But the fries were really amazing..
These guys take a lot of time to deliver the food, that was pretty annoying at times....This place has a really tiny board so it's kinda hard to locate...It's not pricy and all..it's a decent place to spend your weekend at..
The waiter we had didn't have a clue with the language..he couldn't speak local Tamil or English or Hindi...
I had some trouble in making him understand what I wanted to ask and finally had to use the traditional sign language...
Good food, tasty, burger was awesome, presentation can be concentrated a little more, a good place to chill, reasonable price, limited dishes
Review based on one tiny visit. Nice cozy place. I went on a weekday at night. It wasn't buzzing with activity. To the point I thought it's closed for the day. Once I entered the place, saw two more people and I heaved a sigh of relief. This is perfect place to hang out with your friends. Quiet, bean bags, funky wall decor. (It could be too quiet for someone) Coming down to the food, we had a quick hot chocolate. Nothing can go wrong in hot chocolate. It was good. Then we ordered pink sauce pasta which was actually light yellow coloured pasta. It was quite good. Inidianized penne pasta, who won't like it ! I would definitely try other dishes here!
It's a very good place to hang out with your friends. Their food was amazing and very nominally priced as well. We had cold coffee, peanut butter choc brain freezer which was spot on.
Being a 90's kid I loved those cartoon sketches on the walls . I would say it is the Best place to reminisce your childhood.
A real nice place for a quick snack or a long lazy afternoon. The Brain freezers are a real delight. Also the starters are a must try. We had a cookie delight brain freezer with vanilla and it's just amazing. A must try hangout.
AMBIENCE: 4/5
FOOD: 3/5
SERVICE ; 4/5
The ambience is great ,recalling our days of 90's.
And the music playing while i entered was bliss of 90's the power of love by celeine dion.
But the food wasn't upto the mark
The NEPOLITANA PASTA was a disaster
But the CLASSIC 90'S and LUMBERJACK burger was good . ESCOBAR BURGER was too spicy to eat though it was mexican. DRINKS were usual.
This cafe is hard to locate because it's on the first floor and moreover it doesn't have a big board so find dell showroom and u can find it above that. The food is real good there and are of good and exact prices. This cafe has the wall of nostalgia of every cartoon that 90s kid watched and grew up with. So it's a good spot to chill and have good food at the same time.
Ohhhh the ambience. If you love art, you can never get anything better than the walls here at the cafe. Beautifully crafted with so much of thought. Fabulous wall-art will leave you clicking just too many pictures out of the space. You can keep staring at them forever. The place is absolutely cozy. So if you want to chit-chat over food, then please pick this place. The food is pretty nice for a cafe. Their iced teas are the best 😍 You need to look out for this place while you are moving because it is a little difficult to identify and you might miss it if you blink. Must visit for a lazy day.
Stop Here for a wonderful Chicken Salad (Who Comes First) ..Loved the Ambience.. was Neat n decent. Service was polite. As the name says, 90's Kids can relate the theme to their memories.
On My Table were:
1.Chicken Salad 5/5
2.Cappuccino 3/5
3.Hot Chocolate 5/5
Perfect Place for a Evening. Pricing were Decent.
The best money worth place. The best part here is with burgers and sandwiches they serve fries with it. That too those fries are the best and original fries. I started loving sandwiches only after eating it here. It's great all over. Burgers are sooo juicy and yum. Sandwiches and fries are the most best here. ❤️💯
Great ambience... Takes you back to those good old days...times when cartoon had quality messages...
Love the innovative names in the menu n the menu design. 'He who should not b called burger's n 'heman burger' are a must try. Wil visit again.
This place had been in my wish list for a long time . Finally decided to visit this place with my friends from School as a casual meetup . It was a Sunday evening . Expected it to be crowded but it wasn't. Hardly a seating capacity of 20 people this place was quite small from my expectations. We got a seat immediately and we were 7 of us. Ordered the garlic parmesan fries, Chicken Croquettes , Mozerella Cheese sticks for starters . For main course we had ordered Potter's Cottage Burger , Potter's Deluxe Sandwich, Napolitano White Pasta , Pesto Fusili Pasta .
1. Garlic Parmesan Fries 2/5
Very less cheese. Uncooked garlic bits on oily fries.
2. Mozerella Cheese Sticks 3/5
Cheesy but flavorless.
3. Chicken Croquettes 3/5
Chewy and flavorless. The special dip was good but the chicken was dry.
4. Potter's Cottage 3/5
Cottage cheese burger with a tangy twist . Good taste but expected much more.
5. Potter's Deluxe 2.5/5
Bland and tasteless sandwich. Could use some more of the topping sauce.
6. White sauce Napolitano Pasta 3/5.
Good creamy sauce and cooked vegetables served with undercooked pasta. Not cheesy at all.
7. Pesto Fusilli Pasta 3/5
Good flavored sauce. Again not creamy.
Bill came for 1500
Best thing about this place is the nostalgia that hits you when you see the decor. Very well thought out and a place that every kid who grew up in the 90s will enjoy. Good food and great service too.
Anna Nagar is now home to good cafe's that know what they are doing : cooking up a storm and that too in literal sense. The 90's cafe is one such place which is true to its name. The whole place has been designed by keeping that theme in mind and one can easily relate to their doodles and books section if you are a 90's kid. It is a very laid back cafe and true to that sense also, they have substituted the generic tables and chairs with cushioned stools and bean bags!
It was late evening when we went and therefore we just ordered Chilli Cheese Toast, Al Fungi Pasta in White Sauce with Beef. Drinks were Virgin Mojito and a Chocolate based milkshake whose name am not able to get now because I went here some three months back.
The Chilli Cheese Toast was very different from what we usually get. When you are expecting some slices of bread slathered with red chillies along with cheese, what you get here is a welcome change. The bread slices are completely filled with cheese with green chilli slices placed on top and toasted to perfection. The end product is a slightly toasted bread with melted cheese and roasted green chillies which was an absolute delight to be had! But after a lil while, the cheese becomes hard which is a drawback. It was served with a dip that tasted like Chipotle and went along with it. My friend who had been to this place earlier absolutely loved the Artichoke dip that he had tried when he came before. Therefore he requested if they could bring it for us for the toast. It was slightly warm and was a good combination to the cheesy toast!
The Pasta was spot-on! I have no words to express how delicious it was as it had everything in the right proportion. The minced beef went so well along with the other veggies and pasta. Even the broccoli was cooked well. It was served in a cake mould with cheese shavings on top and I absolutely loved each and every spoonful! If am going back, then it is solely for the pasta!
As usual the Virgin Mojito was refreshing. No complaints there. The milkshake was also very good!
On the whole, the 90's cafe is the ideal place if you want to spend some quality time with your friends and loved ones along with some really good food.
Dropped into the 90s Cafe in Anna Nagar today- and oh my, it is a tribute to the 90s era!! The ambience is so quirky and charming that one will immediately fall in love with it- yellow walls with sketches depicting the life in that era and posters of yesteryear actors, singers and other famous personalities. The tables are basically car tyres bundled up on each other with a painting on the top, and there are chairs, bean bags to choose from, giving the place a cool feel.
The best part of the cafe according to me was the book shelf- thoughtfully filled with the books we grew up with in childhood- The Famous Five, Secret Seven, Fairy tales, Goosebumps etc. I had an amazing time, hogging cozily in a bean bag with a R.L.Stine book for company.
Now coming to the food, my friend and I ordered a garlic parmesan fries- which was delicious, the flavoured fries generously mixed with parmesanm cheese, with none of the gooey mess. However, the quantity was too much, even for two.
Next was the Napolitana pasta, which can be customised according to our taste. Fusili pasta soaked in white sauce and fresh, crisp veggies with a dash of cheese garnish made it the perfect pasta, which was quite light too.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention about the music- 90s music, which subtly blended into the background, creating a cozy atmosphere.
If you want to unwind with friends or alone with a book for company, head here. This place is perfect for selfies, WhatsApp, Instagram and FB ;)
Overall, the bill came to 370ish. Definitely a must go to place!
As you enter, you'll get a hit of nostalgia from the 90s.
The paintings, the music, the graffiti art, the novels and comic books stack, basically the entire ambience has been created to take you back to your childhood whilst you enjoy the amazing food the café serves.
The staff is really sweet too.
The 90s cafe is also your getaway from the scorching heat of Chennai.
I'd have given 5, but I was quite disappointed when I found that the mozerella sticks and garlic parmesan fries (mentioned in must try in zomato) both weren't available when me and my friend went there. Those were in the must tries.
Instead, we ordered Nachos in the house and Potter's deluxe sandwich. Nachos with dip and masala wasn't bad but quite not my taste. And Potter's deluxe sandwich was the best. With the panner cheese and chilly sause and potato wedges it was mouth watering.
I'd say a must go place for all Chennaites. The ambience which is so surprising and amazing. Service was also good.
So overall;
Food: 4
Service: 4
Ambience: 4.5
:)
This time it was cousins we all wanted to chill and it was one's birthday we were in anna nagar. On zomato found this place and reached .
The Ambience will take you back to 90's definitely, only thing I was bit skeptical is their air conditioning.
The food was amazing beef burger to the fries.
Nice awesome place to catch up things .
A themed cafe in Anna Nagar's Shanti colony!
A welcoming one actually with cartoon depictions on its walls reminding us of our childhood , being a 90's kid.
It's a casual hang out spot for friends to go for good food at a less rate.
You have books to read from too.
You have bean bags to sit.
The food is good. Especially the burgers and sandwiches.
So from around 3pm-4:30pm we were brainstorming about cafés in and around a 4km radius to go to and finally we decided to go to The 90's Café. Located on the same 4th Avenue as Shree Mithai and Double Roti at Anna Nagar, The 90's Cafe is certainly the dive down memory lane into the early 90's. Coming to the food part of it, we ordered Nachos, Potter's Cottage Burger, the classic 90's burger and 1 more burger. Cost was around 850 for 4 items. The Ambience is pretty decent and nostalgic. The food tasted really good. They don't provide any desserts and they just have 6-7 drinks on their menu which I feel is their major drawback. On the whole, it's a place that every 90's guy must visit.
Giving four for the ambience and service. I ordered nachos with cheese sauce, chicken nuggets, iced lemon tea and cold coffee. One thing I like to say is the cheese sauce with chilli for the nachos is not flavourful..if they offer some flavoured sauce like the one for chicken nuggets it would be nice..other than that the nachos were nice..chicken nuggets were tasty..the cold coffee and ice tea was nice..chicken nugget quantity could be increased
Best burgers I have had in a long long time! Total value for money on the pricing too. The portions for the sides are pretty good too. They always deliver on time.
Went here on a Saturday afternoon. Loved the music. Ambience was good. Customized menu cards were awesome, loved the concept. A nice place to spend quality time with your friends. The only area of improvement would be on the limited drinks menu.
To start with its a nice ambiance out there... the quality of service was good...There was a neatly charted out menu..and we tried the cold coffee with irish cream and it was good...the potter's deluxe was superb.. to sum it up one who wants to try some real good stuff should visit this place often..
So I ordered the garlic Parmesan fries, potter's cottage( burger) and napolitana red penne pasta. The food taste was realllyyy yummm! I don't easily rate a place with 5, but this place was perfecto! The ambience, food was 5. And not forgetting to mention that the staff were courteous and friendly too! A cool place to hang out. A small cute little place which is cartoon themed. So yes, I paid 550 for these 3, and it was surely worth it. Kudos to the management. 👌🏻

Had been longing to have a good crunchy Hawaiian salad for months. Every place I tried was all mayonaisseeey. So we are driving around Anna Nagar at 10:30 PM looking for a decent place to grab a bite. Everything in Anna Nagar and Shanti Colony was crowded at 10:30 PM on a Sunday night and that's when we spotted the 90's cafe. I give a 5 point rating because the 'Dripping in Hawaii' Salad was just spot on. It was better than what I had been expecting. Iced Lemon Tea went perfectly with it. Light not heavy!! That's what I liked about it!! Will definitely come here again. My friends ordered cold coffees, burgers and nuggets and everything was awesome!!
The ambience took us on a nostalgic trip down lane. Loved the bean bags...just slump down and yap like the good ol' days. Used our phones only to take pictures :) Just the way you intended right we talked and laughed a lot. Loved your bookshelf and actually picked up an Archie's Double Digest and read a bit. That kind of totally got me zoned out :)
On days when I am stressed out and tired, i'll definitely end up here on a bean bag with an Archie's comic, iced lemon tea and 'dripping in hawaii'!!! Oh yes, will come on an empty tummy and try out the lumberjack next time ;)
Thank you 'the 90's cafe'!!! Wishing you success and lots of 90's crowd and the new generation crowd to feel how it was to live in the 90's.
Great place to spend time with your friends. Highly recommend their burgers and shakes. Throwback to memories of 90s. Nice place to read books and isolate yourself from the crowd too.
Awesome place to spend time with friends. 90's Cafe having bean bags with well designed Ambience. Most of the designs made by hands. We can have a big look on there. I love the place lot. The food items are good. Is u r french fries lover? Then u can have a place thr becoz they serve fries with big basket😛😛 the quantity is high. Nd now this drink become my favourite choco banana. Nd salad's taste is gud. Final word is i Loved it.
A best place which will make ur tummy feel Whoo!! Enough please. We went as a three members, ordered a sandwich french fries and burger which was simply amazing . The quantity was little heavy but taste is still mouth watering. A pocket friendly place!!!☺️
He who must not be named + peanut butter choc -best combination.
Awsome ambience, best place for the 90s kids.
Gives you a nostalgic journey through the childhood of every one who lived through the end of 20th century.

I happened to be here at The 90's Cafe, one Saturday evening.. The visit was never a planned one, as my sister insisted me to be here to experience the warmth of the place since she was here before, and I had no second thoughts about it.. I choose to go for Veg, since it was a Saturday 😟..Errr ...
With prior introduction about the cafe, I entered in, both myself and my elder one was so keen in getting seated at their comfy bean bags, but we couldn't as they were occupied, with a sad little heart and a empty and hungry stomach we chose to get seated in a two seater table.. Before I go in to the ambience part, I had to just give one more thing a lot of importance.. It was nothing but the MENU, what hell lot of creativity they have induced to get something nice for you to have a mouth watering experience before ordering what you like.. The order was Mozzerala sticks, Paneer burger with fries (sorry guys, couldn't recollect the exact name in the menu.. Poor memory.. ) .. The cheese sticks were a yum yum stuff.. And the burger made me go nuts.. The service was quick, and its really worth even to wait for a little more time, as there was a shelf standing tall offering ranges of books , ideally I guess which was published in 1990's.. Few Enid Blyton's work was what I noticed ..
Now its high time, to tell about the ambience.. The name of the cafe, was purely justified with all that was painted, decorated and illustrated.. I being a 90's kid, and my sister too, was only able to recollect all that I was used to seeing, hearing, laughing at my childhood days.. The place gave a huge huge chunk of memories which you carried all this while .. And the point is, only then I realized I didn't watch few of the cartoon series.. My bad luck , I should say.. Just relishing those wonderful days of my life.. I would really say that this place is the most appropriate one to hang out with your friend's if they also belong to the 90'era.. Trust me guys, you will have so much to talk about and enjoy, giggle upon etc.
After the stomach was half full, cravings for French fries and Hot chocolate remained the same, and we ordered that as well.. They never disappointed us.. Will visit again for sure..
It was great being here, and I should say I was so glad that my sister got me to be here along with her..
Visit and recollect your memories..
Happy Eating guyss...
Cheers !!!

What an experience here!! 1st time my parents who are an ardent lovers of strong filter kaapi weren't complaining about the cappuccino!! In fact they enjoyed the coffee here!!
What we ordered
Nachos 4.6/5
Parmesan French fried - it was a large portion. Like really large. 4.5/5
Hot chocolate no complaints. 4/5
Cappuccino 4.2/5
They served the pullipu mittai as after meal! That was a super surprise!
Had my Pre-Birthday celebs here and it was a-maazing. The place was totally awesome, memories of all that we watched when we were Kids❤ Foood pretty neat and really tasty! The Menu 💆 ✔ Cost wise a lil' to much. Ambience, cozy for sure.🔄 I'd come again. Pricilla 🔄🔃
Food quantity was really good. Garlic parmesan fries was nice but too much that was hard to finish, potter's cottage burger was great. But the Dell cardino pasta was not upto the mark. Place was decent enough to hangout.
Went with much expectation..
I liked the setup..the paintings on the wall, the design, all reminds us of the 90s time period...brings in nostalgia.
Did wait for abt 10-15 mins for food.. We ordered He Man burger nd 90s Classic Burger..Both were very avg..nothing spl about them.. the bun is very ordinary..patty was big enough but not upto my expectations..the accompaniments were good though.
The best burger I had in chennai was from Tovo..so I always compare with em..
Anyway I wouldn't visit this place again.
They shd improve
Tat 3.5 is for the 90s theme
I ordered for tender coconut shake and chicken crochets.. And the peanut banana... Chicken crochets was not upto the level... But the shake was good..
Different type of ambience with a 90's kind of feeling
Bill was 1153 for four of us and service was super quick.
Quite a big hall I see, but they say it's the other way round and for 27 seaters, we can very well go for a nostalgic filled walk. Quite unfinished those interiors I feel, but at the end of the day, there is good food and some good memories you can take home with.
A great place with delicious food, that's pocket friendly too. The whole place has it's walls telling the stories and adventures from the 'legendary' 90's. They also provide a discount coupon which could be used for your next visit. But this place may have been closed down now. Please confirm before visiting.
These are the kind of joints that make a city worth living in. We loved the place the instant we saw bean bags, hahaha, bean bags in a café mean you are allowed to hangout there till the end of time. The food and drinks were really good, wonderful service, soothing music, reasonable pricing and the icing on the cake - comfy beanbags. The best choice to hang out with friends, partners, enemies, and even strangers. The wall-art depicting relics from the 90's will surely get you nostalgic driving you into memory lane, if you're of that era. We enjoyed this place to the fullest.
Cozy place on the main road. Might be a little difficult to locate without maps. The menu was creative and had a lot of options to choose from. The place had a friendly atmosphere for a group of people to hangout. The service was good and price reasonable.
Had chicken fajita, Thai roasted chicken, enchiladas, Buffalo wings, and a classic mojito. Food was really good chicken and cheese were fresh sauses tasted good. One of the best virgin mojitos i have tasted. Would have given a five but had some minor set backs like the thai roasted chicken was served along side with noodles which was just a Maggie noodles. Buffalo wings was not actually wing pieces just a boneless pieces of chicken. Mojito had the seeds of the lemon in it. Overall the place is quiet good. One more funny thing is The restroom has steps which most of the ppl might not notice as they ll be seeing the sakthimaan pic on the door(Which made both of us slip a bit)
Good place to hang out. The food are pretty decent. The ambience of this cafe defines the name of the cafe. The 90's kid can relate to their childhood days by the ambience.
Awesome place to hangout with friends..

Interesting place, more schooled for the younger generation with regards to seating, food was good (forgot to tak a pic of my burger) but a good general impression and good ambiance for a nostalgic trip. Just make sure the waiter understands your order as language may be a problem. We will surely come back.
It'll be a blast from the past for those who grew up in the 90s. The wall art is a tribute to what made the childhood of the 90s kids. The ambiance provides you with a relaxed atmosphere. Great place to hang out with friends.
If you have been looking to chill out with your friends after a long tiring week, then this is the place that you should go to. The ambience is amazing with 90s theme, which would strike the right chords with all the 90s kids.
The Food is another plus point, the pastas and burgers are a must try, it will defenitely hook you on. Also, the staff is very helpful and down to earth.
