We went for team dinner by Wednesday at 7.30pm. The restaurant was not crowded and almost free, but we didn't expect that whatever we ordered they said not available and at last we ended up sticking with only the availability of their choice. Really very disappointing for all of us.
They simply said that afternoon an unexpected crowd at the restaurant struggled to handle it and also they will not stock much for the dinner so few items were not available. But, first they said sea foods like prawns and fish fry were not available, after placing an order they said only chicken items were available and mutton side dish varieties like kola, liver fry etc. were also not available.
Anyway we got a mutton biryani but the quantity was average, mutton and chicken soup good. The fish finger was good, also crab lollipop as they suggested was good. Another set of our people went for dosa, chapathi and chicken varieties as a lot of their choices not available.
Overall we felt good, even though the expected or our favourite were not available we ended up satisfied with what we got and no issues of any stomach problems.
Really old place which serves good south Indian nonveg for Over 20 years. Visited them after really long time and the food was good. Been there for typical nonveg meals and they didn't disappoint. Their Kari soru is must try which is a recent addition. Their chicken chukka and mutton chukka was great. Usually serve food quickly and most recommended for lunch than dinner.
Taste is good. But the quantity of combo briyani is very less. Kari soru and chicken 65 is awesome. Service also good. Food on time.
This is a non vegetarian chettinad hotel. It has branches all over Chennai.Its is a special place to be. It was set up long ago.Its got a good reputation. The food served is spicy and very delicious.It is a nice restaurant to go to for any occasion.The service is very prompt and tats one of the reasons why i like to come here regularly.Enjoy good food here at affordable price....
Gave 5 star for the taste of the food. We ordered "Mutton kari soru" and also some veg items, all are so tasty and hot. Reasonable price.. Quantity and quality is good. Worth a try for both NonVeg and Veg food.

The traditional dishes like Mutton bone soup and chicken chettinad was a hit, so was the chicken lollipops and Mutton chukka fry. In the end white rice and rasam was heaven. Top it off with panneer goli soda.
Excellent customer service along with the food quality. Bahubali Thali was awesome

I tried Fish curry soru here.... Awesome taste but those who want more spicy can try fish curry soru.
Then I tried prawn biryani but it's not up to the mark from my point of view. Just putting the prawns with chicken biryani kushka is not prawns biryani.... Pls take care.
Good food and good Atmosphere.
As the opening is small and not facing road, only known persons will visit here.
Bought mutton biryani today (13/8/21) for 290₹.. pros- it wasn’t too oily.. no unnecessary colors or ingredients. It’s simple yet flavor and mutton piece was tender and good
Cons- few rice grains turned little hard may be due to reheating & felt less pieces of mutton compared to other restaurant in this price line ( 2 pieces and a bone)
