The delivery was for One and half kg Chicken briyani which was packed as 1 kg and half kg seperately.
The other complimentary sides were there ,
Usually ive tasted bread halwa along with the briyani, but they had given Semiya kind of sweet which was okayish again.
Chilly chicken was succulent and tasted yum.
Cost was arnd 1200/- for a kg
Packing : good but heat was lost by the time we served the food. 3.5/5
Taste : was good again, but not the best 4/5

The plus would be the quantity.. Which was soooo much for the amt charged. + their raita which was so thick.
Other dan dat taste can be improved a little btr.

Today is the day for the final World Cup cricket match between India and Australia. So need special food. Went to Dindigul Thalappakatti Restaurant. This is famous for special biryani. I had Veg biryani. And got parcel of Chicken 65 biryani, that is boneless. Taste is very good. Good ambiance. Not crowded as I visited at noon. A lot of parcel pickup people were waiting.
The Thalappakatti Biriyani Hotel’s roots can be traced all the way back to 1957. Founded by Mr. Nagasamy Naidu under the name Anandha Vilas Biriyani Hotel in Dindigul. He always wore a turban called THALAPA(a traditional head dress), which over the years became synonymous with his brand and cooking styles

4️⃣⭐Pls dont try any soft drinks like Tarbooz sarbath juices here 😡😡😡...The food was very tasty and delicious😍😍😍 Mutton Biriyani Was Excellent😋😋😋 but they took so much time takes for bring to your table😴😴😴... Chicken lolipop in KFC style ... I don't like it, in personal😭😭😭 but Quantity 8 to 10 pieces 😊😊😊
DTK Biryani is known for their traditional aroma and flavour, so we felt good in taste as usual. Starters are lip smacking. But they took more time to deliver the order even for biryani at 2.30pm. Boneless mutton not available. Waitstaff are good in welcoming, seating guests, offering recommendations to upsell appetizers. I guess It would be better if waiters inform about delay time for the specific item while ordering because after waiting long time for biryani we again waited for wheat parotta and cancelled at last. Such things to be avoided to show stellar performance of waitstaff. The place is with good seat arrangement and cleanliness.

Great ambience, good food!!! Service could be better… boneless mutton briyani and chilli fish are must try.. price worthy and can come some other time for dinner or lunch. Tried add on combo with briyani gulab jamun and lemonade. Over all had a nice experience for a family dinner.?8😊😊😊
Now a days the quantity of food served is less. There is a lot of demand but customer satisfaction wise I feel this restaurant needs improvement. Still I would like to go again irrespective of service. Because I like the teast of the food.

Taste of biriyani is awesome since it is prepared with seeraga samba rice and authentic ground masalas which is unique here and you cannot get the same from anywhere else in other restaurants.
Starters are tasty and you can try so many varities over here.
Good ambience, customer service and very good varieties of non vegetarian foods out of which half of the varieties we usually don't prepare at home.
Nice place for family or friends get together or team lunch or dinner, etc.

Unlike initial years, delay in getting the food is becoming a major concern for customers. This is making customers either to cancel the whole or partial order. This should be definitely addressed by them
Seems to be like ground floor is not used for dining since it is occupied by delivery people mostly. So dining space has been limited to 1st floor.
When I started to eat Dindukal thalappakatti briyani a few years back. Initial phase I am not like this taste 😔. After a long time I had a mutton biryani here, flavour and all is very tasty 😋. Then when I feel hungry and my mind subconsciously tell me the name Dindukal thalappakatti briyani.
Today also same thing 🤣 was happen to me. Today Aippasi 1 lasts one month I am not eat non veg so when I cross the DTP it's tempting me and I have entered and taste a briyani it's really amazing 😍🤩🤩.
