Briyani tastes awesome. chicken 65 is the best. only thing is Chicken piece in briyani is hard.

I don't know how long this has been on my wishlist and I'm glad it got scratched from the never ending Andaaa list. This place is quiet famous and one of the most happening place for Biryani joints around the city.
No ambience could be better than the ambience of sitting in the view of Biryani Andas and watching it being continuously served or parcelled along with the BGM of the 'Tak-Tak' sound echoing inside the small eatery.
Coming to the hero of the story, the Mutton Biryani (₹150) was aromatic and full of flavours. Long grained, non-greasy, mild irritants like Elaichi (Cardamom) with fall off the bone types soft and succulent Mutton Pieces. Thumbs-up! Brinjal Chops was okayish. The Chicken 65 (₹100) looked scary with it's reddish colour making me think if there was a color overdose, but that really wasn't the case. The Chicken 65 was extremely well made, non-oily, soft meat with spot-on spices.
Parking can be manageable for bikes. For Cars, maybe you'll have to find a parking some where else and walk it up.
Today visited and had mutton briyani. Taste wise it is good as usual. Not unique from the crowd.. one of the good briyani shops. Mutton pieces are so soft. Easy to digest. Masala could be more. Ambience is average and not suitable for family.

This biryani joint is located in the same junction as Rathna Cafe in Triplicane. This is the most popular biryani shop in triplicane vicinity. Yes, there are 100s of biryani shops around. I know this place for more than a decade and was a regular to this place before. After a long gap, tried their biryani this new year. Biryani is good but had better biryanis. Also the taste has come down compared to their initial and earlier days.
The quantity they serve is sufficient for a good eater (1/2 plate). The price is also less on par with any other biryani shop. I couldnt get mutton biryani that day and many said mutton biryani has become a rarity in this place.
Value for money : 1/2 plate chicken biryani - 100, mutton biryani - 150, kushka - 70.
good mutton biryani,tasted well.this is very old shop in Chennai,i had mutton biriryani for 30rs in 2001..now they expand little,not suitable family,less space..thanks

24 may 2017 Wednesday I ate mutton biriyani,they charged me ₹150,teste was awesome,some thing unique in the taste,balanced taste.
should try everyone, place is little crowded and congested,quick service....

The Biryani was very tasty, Rice was good quality and well cooked.
The chicken pieces too were tender and well cooked. .

Located at the heart of triplicane. If you are a biriyani lover it's a must visit place , the taste is completely awesome . Their place is bit small so it's better to get parcel . If uve still not been there give it a try
we use to eat biriyani from here the arouma of the biriyani is brillliant the rice quality is also good now a days they are selling biriyani as killo wise you can get one killo at rs 100 ..which is not bad ithink....
Better than all biryanis in chennai with little bit spice...but have to take care of surroundings and hygienic conditions....Takeaway is d only option

Amirunnisa biryani is a shop that many people in triplicane vouch for....Many claim that this a best biryani in the are...In an area filled with biryani shops...getting such a reputation is really a great thing...so one weekend a month back on a visit to my aunt's place nearby i made a plan to have a meal here with my cousin...and landed here for lunch...
Location : On the pycrofts road...in the same junction as rathna cafe...they have another outlet diagonally opposite too...
Parking : Road side parking...which will be suitable only for 2 wheelers....
Ambiance : A small cramped up biryani shop...do not expect hygiene...maintenance is average...
Service : Quick and prompt....nothing special...similar to any biryani shop....
Taste : With all the hype i did not find it that great...it was just a normal biryani according to me...do not know about area wise but have had better biryani....
Value for Money : I personally do not feel its that great...might be suitable for people living nearby...nothing great to recommend...
P.S : My cousin who is a regular to this place said that the biryani was not good on our visit....other wise its better than that....so i can also think it was just a bad day....might give it another try later on.....
Yup another good biryani centre in triplicane, what i had experienced is really good biryani at lower cost , it is not that spacious, and cleanliness is not there. Better have take aways.
Came to know about this place from a list, 100 things to do in Chennai. Well, the mutton biriyani was tasty and different but I have had better biriyanis. If you are going to this place expecting the best biriyani in town, you are going to be disappointed. If you are in the locality you can give it a try, take away would be a better option. The place has limited seating and seems congested, there is no parking space in vicinity, so avoid car. I would not say that the biriyani here was best, but if someone bought me that, I would not say no either.
This is my first time experiences of Biriyani prepared with Lagan Country Chicken which is been available at Amirunnisa Biriyani.
From the usual Chicken Biriyani's if you're interested in trying a new experiences then this might interest you. Amirunnisa Biriyani restaurant is unique serving Biriyani prepared with Lagan Country Chicken.
For around 130 rupees the chicken piece and rice ratio was good and would recommend takeaway as the seating arrangements are very limited.

One of the Best biryani in triplicane, they have their unique taste, service is good, they follow the food instructions we give on food delivery apps. The price is also affordable. They use white Leghorn chicken. I have been eating there since my childhood, now ordering on zomato. Still are Maintaining good quality food.

This briyani shop price is norma chicken biriyani Rs.130 and kusks is Rs.90. But the chicken pieces are very very big.This can not be eaten by an individual just because you are friends or in a crowd. And this store sells sweets called bread Halwa in 30 rupees it is so much better
Wow !! Their biriyani was very yummy yummy ,Esecially their mutton biriyani was very good in which the mutton was so soft and was melting in my mouth ,here there would be usually crowd and other than biriyani they have tandoori chicken ,grilled chicken, and all other chinese dishes like fried rice ,chilli chicken etc. And all these dishes were also good ,overall the best biriyani u can get from here at a moderate price
After seeing all the reviews I just thought I'd give a try since last 3 days I did not have a right meal which can satisfy my taste Budds....the Breakfast and Lunch which we had in Different Hotels are horrible and chennai made us realise the value of our Authentic Andhra and Telangana food and after long 3 days we have found this place through Google and I personally went there by auto paying 150/- through and fro and I feel the food is value for Money and They just charged 150/- Mutton and 100/- Chicken Biryani and it is more than enough to full fill a fully one individual ... Hai.. I am from Erode and I visited here on 13.09.2018. I ate chicken briyani for Rs.120/- .wahh...!! what a taste... I never forget this place. I wish to come this place for eat briyani. the chicken boiled good. side dish Brinjal thokku is awesome. I felt no more added masalas but good for even children. Thanks for the cook who made it for me.

Hands down the best madras biriyani in the recent times ..Worthy package ..And the pricing is best. Optimal spice level . The accompaniments were fresh and tasty . I would suggest go for it
Very very small place which can occupy around 10 members at a time.... Biryani looks and tastes very good with one single big piece chicken costs around 150 per plate...
