After a tiring day in Moto service centre, found this place in the same street. It was quite crowded and the lady who's working there is very friendly.
Ordered two samosas and bhel puri. The samosas were average but the bhel puri was really good. The masala capsicum sandwich was worth the cost.
Been going here for like 20yrs or so.. The bhel puri is the ultimate, I always ask them to make it a bit sweet, it isn't sweet but that sauce once it hits your palate the taste explodes in your mouth.. Rest of items I never really tried it. I never get bored of their Bhel, 2-3 times a week for years..
Simple shop with amazing BHEL poori and paani poori, was just chatting with the owner of the shop, I heard this shop was opened in 1980, worth the visit
Fan of Bhel puri? Then this is the best place to be as the Bhel here tastes very good and has lots of vegetables and sev and has natural ingredients unlike other places . Have been a fan of this shop for more than 15 years and make sure to order Bhel puri when you go there . Tomato Bhel puri is another type which is very famous here :)

I visited this place as it is close to my office. The samosa Channa was good. Samosa better than the channa. The quantity was huge. So share one if you are not a heavy eater. The masala cheese sandwich was tasty. Bread was soft and fresh. The filling was yummy and not very spicy. The rose milk shake was delicious. Maybe too much of the rose flavour still it did not overpower the drink.. It is surely a value of money and a must visit.

By the end of a tiresome shopping, Gopu Mohan n I were supposed to meet our parents but they were no where near to our spot. Knowing them, we decided to grab something quick to eat before we starved ourselves. We took a small walk but couldn't find anything. So as usual I turned to zomato n walked here.
It's just a chat/ juice shop with no tables. We ordered a bhelpuri n a dahi puri. We were handed the same in a jiffy like in under a min!
The dahi puri was awesome, totally refreshing. Bhelpuri was a bit bland for my liking. Nevertheless enjoyed the good chat :)
If you want a healthy bhel puri u can head straight to madras bhel puri..!! This is one place which is thr fr years which even my dad been in his times..basically a place in tnagar wont hav a parking and being a small eatery plz dont expect a car parking..families do come and enjoy d chats along with their kids too..this is one bhel wher they don mix sauces and give..dishes hav been reduced wen compared to last few years..bt better knwn fr bhel puri and lime soda..want a very healthy bhel puri dis is d place..!! ?
Got to knw they hv free home delivery. Ordered a couple of cheese sandwiches. The guy was very cool and despatched the order within 20 mins.
And MAN..!!!! couldn't just believe whether it's sandwich or pizza. It's so cheesy and melts in my mouth. Very tasty and different from what I had eaten so far. That too, at economical price. Kudos...!!!!!!
The chats are good, staff courteous, rates reasonable .Some of the chats for example your masala poori, sev poori are excellent and brings out the mmmm from you. They also offer fresh vegetable salad either as cut pieces or slices (dressed with sweet & spicy sauces in between).
The food is easy on the stomach and the wallet.
The only disadvantage with this place is that there is very little space to sit and eat.
Good place for eating on the go or sitting on your bike with friends.
Been to this place since childhood. The place is known for its bhel with lot of veggies. Not the typical North Indian bhel. This is different and good. Typical fast food joint. Couple of tables and seating is limited. The samosa is good. Lime soda is refreshing. Cheap quick snacks consistent in quality. Try for a change.
I am eating there from my school days ,(35years). At that time it was a very small eatery with only one table located adjacent to the current location. Same bhelpuri taste. Price in 1983 is RS.1.50. now rs.35. Good for evening snacks.

Verdict: Chat joint which has more of a south indian version. Will not suggest this place for ppl who are looking proper north indian chat joints.

Good place for chat items and it is old one famous shop for expecially for Bhel puri in chennai. Many of people come for here to eat Bhel puri. It is located main place of shopping in T Nager.
The bhel puri available here is the most crunchiest one!Its more of a salad type and the taste lingers in your tongue for a long time.Definitely its a must try when you go to pondy bazar,Chennai.

Taste was good especially chilli sandwiches and other items, ambience is good & it's pocket friendly.
