I first visited coffeetales back when it began, years ago. The quality of food has stayed the same, through the years. I go there regularly for their jalepeno cheese maggi and blackcurrent milkshake, which are both a must try, for sure!

Was looking out for a nice cafe to have lunch at around 3pm and found this place. The ambience was really nice, liked the entire setup. Had ordered for Potato wedges, cafe frappe and Corn mayo sub.
Potato Wedges- Liked the way it was presented and the wedges were very cooked and crisp. It tasted very nice and enjoyed it.
Cafe Frappe- It was presented in a nice tall glass and it tasted really nice. It was definitely better CCD's cafe frappe.
Corn Mayo Sub: Was not at all happy with this sandwich. It tasted all bland. I felt the bread was old and not fresh which is bad for a brand like this. Hope it never happens again.
I was kinda disappointed with the service bcoz it was quite slow as me being the only customer there. Service speed needs to be improved. Overall a good place, will definitely look to visit again.
To sum up in one sentence , it is a spot for coffee lovers. Lovely and simple ambience , making it the right place to catch up and spend time with people.
They do not do wrong with coffee and their Maggi dishes. Simply love them. Their milkshakes are great too. Oreo milkshake is my personal favourite.

If you are craving for the best of coffees and a nice ambience... just plain cafe ...no themes ...no extravagant designs .... simple to the point cafe .... in a time when cafes compete to have the best interior designs and make a lot of noice .... coffeetales is one place that lets their food make the noise ... this is a seriously underrated ... unexplored gem .... one of the only places to get authentic AEROPRESS coffee in chennai .... the staff were so kind and engaging .... must visit for any coffee connoisseur ... highly recomended and the rates are nominal too. having visted most of the cafes in chennai this is one of the few cafes that get the point of a cafe .... THE COFFEE.
Out of all the places I’ve visited in Chennai that serves Maggi - this one has got to be the best. There’s only so much you can do with Maggi but the way you cook it and the way you let the masala soak in definitely judges the output you get. Even though this place might be a tad bit pricy in comparison to other places - I feel the quantity and the quality of the Maggi they serve is WORTH the money. A bonus point is that their playlist is really good and keeps you in a great mood.
Apart from that, you also have a lot of beverages that you can opt for ranging from coffee, to milkshakes to ice teas and what not. Though the sandwiches are available here as well - I haven’t tried them and would love to try it out soon. My personal favourites are the Mushroom Masala Maggi, the Kara Kozhambu Maggi and the Chilli Garlic Maggi along with the Kitkat Milkshake. Overall, it’s a lovely place to hang out with your friends in the evening and have great food.

Amazing place to chill and catch up with your friends. Their Maggi variety is drool worthy but slightly on the expensive side. They also have other sides like smiley fries and bread items but nothing as good as the Maggi ones.
They can and should work a little more on the menu but the mock tails and Maggi is really good!

Coffeetales is located in a quiet residential area.The Maggi served here is very good though it may be on the pricier side.The coffee based drinks we ordered were perfect - we felt one of it was too sweet for our liking and raised it with the staff.They took it back immediately,fixed it and brought it back to us without hesitation.The menu is kinda limited but will be perfect if you need a place to have a good conversation with your friends.

This place is best known for its wide varieties in Maggi. Loved the MEXICAN BHEL (Semi cooked, crispy noodles in Behl puri style) and CHILLI GARLIC MAGGI. And last but not the least - FERRO MAGGI !!! 😍This is a must order dish here... Never have I come across this dish anywhere.. (A swamp of noodle- chocolate topped with a Ferrero Rocher) Noodles and chocolate ?? Yes you heard it !!! 😋🍫
Being a HOT-CHOCOLATE addict, and a foodie who never visits a cafe again once visited (currently on a cafe exploring spree) .... this place has done the magic of enchanting me. The concept of this place is amazing. I visit chennai every year but none of my friends have ever mentioned this place. Coffeetales have different varieties of maggi. While this may sound odd to a lotta people as how much can someone do with a packet of instant noodles?.. well, a LOT!
To all the aunties and uncles that told me not to have maggi as it’s the same boring thing every-time, try this place. They have something that targets every single generation. From “Mor Kuzhambu” for my grandmother to “double masala triple cheese” for my 6th grade niece.
No matter how odd they all sound, every single flavour tastes amazing, the service and ambiance is delightful as well.
We were searching for a cool place to hangout. And our search got over when we came across this newly opened restaurant. Though it was in my bookmark list. A cool and hygienic place. Music in the background and a TV to watch out channels they were playing. Overall a nice place to sit for long and do gossip. Moving on to the service it was quick. Menus were pretty interesting. But we chose correctly depending on our choice.
● Double cheese Maggie. As usual how u prepare Maggie in home; the same thing just with loads of cheese on top of it.
● Mexican fries. French fries with lots of tangy sauces and cheese. Yummy !!!
● Chinese bhel. Fried noodles. Just the exact taste of Bhelpuri. Tomatoes and red spices comes along.
● Choco frappè with icecream. That's yummy!!
● Cranberry Frizz. I loved it.
So overall good place to hangout and some good snacks.

I’ve never seen a cafe with so many different Maggi dishes. . I’ve seen ones at roadside stalls. .
We ordered one portion of Jatka Matka Maggi ( which is mushrooms, paneer and Indian spices). We had requested to remove the paneer as we felt it might be heavy on the stomach ( we were already full as we had eaten Diwali snacks earlier) . .
The dish was good. Not too spicy and not too bland.
Along with this, we ordered watermelon 🍉 ice tea which was good. .
We also ordered veg spring roll and potato wedges for takeaway. The spring roll was tasty even though we had it late. The potato wedges however had become soggy and it didn’t taste good. .
Overall, awesome place to catch up with friends or family :) and VFM 5/5

Visited this place in the evening with Abhinav Vasisht and Mridula Murali . Nice and cosy in a quiet and secluded neighbourhood, Coffeetales is a great place to sit with friends and chill. A huge variety of beverages to keep your stomach occupied too. The staff here are very friendly too. The show-stealer here, though, is Maggi. You read that right! From the classic plain Maggi to the ultra funky Maggi Biriyani, they have it all. Try the Kara kozhambu Maggi or the mor kozhambu Maggi if you're feeling especially funky! The beverages need improvement though.
Overall, a great place to chill and experiment with our tolerance for Maggi. 👍🏼

Our soul shop ❤️ we almost visit this place at least once in 2 weeks! Such a chilled out place and everything in their menu is nothing short of yummm!! Prices are fair enough for the taste and quantity! The seats are a bit uncomfortable and that's why I'm giving it a 4.5! But that's never stopped us from being pulled to this place :P

I've been here only twice. Once was around last week. And the other time was like 7 years back. It felt good to come back to this place again. If you're a maggi lover, just come here already. I don't know any other place that serves maggi like this in Chennai. There's like 35 - 40 different options for maggi. We ordered Paneer masala maggi, Maggi biryani, Cheesy jalapeño maggi and Hostel maggi. Everything was awesome. This place did not disappoint. It was a nostalgic moment. Apart from maggi, this place had starters, wraps, mocktails. The ambience of this place is good. It's a nice place to hangout. I think People around Anna Nagar area come here often but I'd suggest people from other areas to try this place atleast once.

Well, I have been here twice, so my review will be for both my visits. This place too has become one of those "quirky-interiors" place, with caricatures and sayings spread all over the place. The ambience is jus amazing, and you can choose to sit in the normal chair table or the high raised chairs by the window. In short, this place is perfect for tales- for reading tales or creating them. Tucked away in one of the sleepy lanes of Shenoy Nagar, it is ideal for a solo visit to recharge yourself and soak in the solitude, or just hanging out with friends.
The highlight of this place is Maggi, undoubtedly. With more than 30 varieties of Maggi to choose from, it is undoubtedly a Maggi lover's paradise in the city.
In both my visits, the starters were jus scrumptious. Being cheese lovers, we took care to choose cheesy starters, and they were just perfect. The platter was too good, however if you do go as a large gang your portions might drastically reduce! ;)
The Maggis take pretty much time to arrive, considering the few customers at that time. But I guess it is reasonable as they start preparing from scratch and deliver a bowl of hot steaming delicious noodles
From my first visit, we were a group of six , so we got to sample quite a variety. The cheese and double cheese Maggi are quite a treat to the cheese lovers, and the Indian style Maggi impresses you with the delectable balance of desi flavours. The favourite was the hostel maggi, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is on the look out for comfort food.
My second visit was a short feast, while we had jatka patka Maggi and DMTC. While both were simply amazing, the DMTC was the clear winner. Double Maggi Triple Cheese, this bowl of delight is a treat to the senses. The olfactory and oral receptors tingle with cheesy excitement, and it is pure bliss to savour each morsel of this heaven. I can write a million verses in praise of this dish, and the very mention of it still brings a thrill of anticipation even now. If you go here, DMTC is a must must have.
While the staff were pretty friendly, there were some issues with the bill the first time and there was quite a delay the second time, which soured the experience a wee bit. If they do improve upon the billing part, this place deserves a whopping five stars!!

As a coffee lover went for tasting good coffee were it had some pretty decent caffeine varieties. Tried the masala tea which was good. But if you are a maggie lover then its a must visit place for you!! They have huge varieties of maggie.
But to my opinion, its a bit costly for a maggie though. Making these at home won't cost you more than 60 or 70 ruppees. Every maggie costs more than 100 ruppee. Can visit once for food. Good place for hangout with groups.
We chose this place to catch up with friends. The building is a little hard towards find, but since the people at the restaurant directed us correctly it is was not too bad. This place is well known for the variety of noodles that they offer. We ordered the cheese noodles, a vegetable noodles and cheese fries. Both the noodles were decent and good to have. The cheese had melted well with the noodles and was quite yummy. I however liked the cheesy fries as it was a different kind, with chilly flakes. I really liked this. We also ordered an orange crusher a day cold coffee. The crusher was really refreshing and really bought out the orange flavor. Will come here more than often to try the rest of the noodles and other dishes.

This place was strangely located in a residential area near Roundtana. After reading the reviews, I was especially hyped for the Different kinds of Maggi they deliver. Place was too good. Ambience was perfect. Was spacious than expected. Service was good. Ordered the Kar-Kozhambu Maggi because it sounded intriguing and The chilly Garlic Cheese Maggi. I must say, ₹150 for each of these two items is too much considering the quantity. Ithuku veetlaye pantu poidlam! But both tasted good. Kara kozhambu lovers will get tears of joy while tasting the Maggi. Chilli cheese didn't have the garlic flavour in my opinion. Overall I'd suggest they reduce the cost for the Maggi!

Went for dinner ...it's tucked inside Anna nagar east .....it's a cozy neighbourhood cafe ...ordered garlic and chilly cheese Maggi,Vathakolambu maggi, cheese and mushroom maggi and cheese Maggi ....it's like s snack good for evening tea time or when you are out with friends ...it's like soul food...not a proper dinner concept ..anyway can go when crave for some Maggi ...

The corn and cheese Maggi was really tasty and the chopsuey Maggi was unexpected .
They give you a gravy and the crispy uncooked maggi separately and you need to break it and mix with the gravy and have it.
It was tasty too.
The Mexican fries was cheesy and had a good flavour .
And the prices are cheap too.
If u need a Maggi break , go for it. :D
Went to this amazing cosy little cafe in Anna Nagar and how impressed was I. It got everything right. With cute interiors and comfortable seating the cafe is your go to place for an evening meant for long conversations with friends or just some alone time.
The best thing about this was obviously Maggi. The whole menu is inspired with Maggi as the central ingredient and trust me it was the best Maggi I've ever had.
We tried hostel Maggi which had chopped onions and tomatoes along with bhujia sprinkled on top. We also tried Maggi with mushroom and paneer. Both were perfectly cooked and tasted out of the world.
One must order with your food over here is the authentic classic mojito.
We also ordered nutties shake which will make you have the other chocolate shakes too. Watch for a surprise in your straw as you sip the last sip of your chocolate shake.
All in all must go.

Best place to have Maggie . Been wanting to go to this place for quite sometime and finally went last Friday . It was worth the wait for me . The corn and cheese Maggie and the chilly garlic Maggie was good and had the perfect amount of cheese and spiciness ! There's also kara kozhambu Maggie for the ones who like to experiment and another dozen different variety of Maggie ! Will surely visit once more .. :)
Visited just once and I genuinely fell in love with this place. It was around 12 at night with hunger pangs hitting my friends and me hard. The variety of maggi and shakes in on of the major attractions of this place. But one drawback that I feel is that the menu is overpriced. Overall amazing place.

Coffeetales is one of those places that I would crave to go to and never be able to.
I tried to visit multiple times during the Maggi ban, and I did once. But thought it would be unfair to rate them without their signature Maggi.
And then recently I've there a couple of times, though over priced their Maggis are really very good. We ordered

- Italian Bhel
The bhel was good to eat and had some good flavours. The Kar kozhambu tasted so so good and I'm not even a fan of Kar kozhambu . When the Corn and Cheese is first served it doesn't look so appealing but once you eat it - stopping is close to impossible.
The ambience is nice, but they only open post 4pm. Also they have these people siting outside and smoking (I had taken my 2 year old niece with me).
I would come back here for the Corn and Cheese Maggi.

As soon as I saw a place exclusively known for Maggi😃 on Zomato ,I made it a point to visit the very next day.It's a bit hard to spot without a map though.Parking was done without any hassle.
It's just a narrow hall which might get crowded in no time but loved the ambience.Good for noisy group hangouts but wouldn't recommend for a date.It was pretty exciting to read the menu,what with the endless maggi varieties.😄

If you are a Maggie lover then this is definitely a place you can't miss. Been a regular since ages. Hostel maggi, onion and cheese maggi, paneer maggi are simply the best. Coming to the rest of the food, there is nothing great about it. The fries , wedges are all okayish. The oreo shake is really good though. The pricing is nominal and the ambience is really good!
Surprised to see a good choice of Maggi noodles n combinations. The Jatka phatka maggi was yum. Tandoori nuggets was good. Peppermint iced tea was strong n nice. Will i visit again? Yes.
My friend Heerr and I decided to try this place out yesterday. We went there at about 5 45. Nice buzz this place has got. I tried a lovely mocktail it was called ocean breeze. Mix of orange pineapple and blue curacoo.. really sweet taste. Staff also very friendly and polite. Have been here at least 5 or 6 times with friends.. Being very close to my house, it is really a great place to catch up/hang out with friends.. The place did look a bit dull when there was a ban on Maggi, but now its back to its full colors..
One ought to try the Maggi here (must visit for all Maggi Fans).. Great ambiance.. The service is pretty laid back though, the guys at the counter are too immersed in their computer screen and were not paying attention to customers..

Very calm place... More of like a rich home setup.. Quick service.. Was impressed with their foods😀 Ordered: Cheese nuggets(5/5).. Aloo Tikka.. Masala paneer Maggi(5/5)... Corn sandwich and Watermelon Iced tea... Worth for money.. Waiting to go again😇

I visited this tiny little coffee shop, about a month ago; yeah I know, lazy much? Review just a month later 😂😂😂
So let's get down to it,
Pluses :-
- Taste - The food and drinks are quite good; I was happy with everything I ordered.
- Economical pricing - very easy on the pocket, not may of those places around.
- Smoking - good news smokers, y'all can sit outside, order and smoke!! Very few places left for my smoking peeps in chennai 😋😋
Minuses :-
- size- kinda small, so gets crowded in no time on the weekend!!
- No help ordering - the staff, though friendly and swift in service, are of no help with your selection!! To a true foodie, it matters!!! Heck, it matters a lot!! I wanna put the yummiest of your offerings in my tummy!!

- : Mexican bhel Maggi noodles- was truly a treat; raw Maggi mixed in with various spices, puffed rice, onions, tomatoes and mint. The very delicious spin, on an Desi classic.
- Price 90/- a plate
- Verdict - crunchy, crispy and light - 4/5
- : Corn and Cheese Foccacia - really huge in size!! ( Look at the pic)!! A meal by itself!! Filling, just the right amount of corn and cheese and delicious to boot!!
- Price 100 - 150/- ish ( don't really remember)
- Verdict - totally worth the money you pay- 4/5
- : bourbon shake - amazing, yummy, nom nom and must try!! Who can resist, childhood nostalgia 😍😍😍 bourbon biscuits you can drink?? Need I say more.

Went for an evening snack, had cold coffee and some starters. Foods good. Ambience is nice. Was crowded when I went.. Service isn't that great. Pretty slow.
Best place to go with friends..lovely ambience... the ferrero shake was yummyy.. and the virjin redbull was very much refreshing.. we tried the cheesy jalepeno noodles and it was yumm... the hostel maggi tasted fine..overall a nice place to hang out
If my Mum doesnt allow me to make maggi at home, i sneak out to this place! There are many varieties in Maggi and every thing tasts good (Maggi is always good! Maggi makes me happy)! So any day a maggi here with a coffee or milo or some beverage equals a good meal!
There are other good stuff too here but Maggi overthrows everything!
Coffeetales is one of the few places that stays true to the idea of a cafe. It has very good ambience and comfortable seating. The creative graffiti on the ceiling, along with good lighting adds to the overall appeal of the cafe. The food menu revolves around Maggi combinations and someone has clearly experimented with Maggi, which turns out to be a great idea as the outcome is brilliant. It's quite simple with predominant Maggi flavor but with a delicious twist. The drinks menu is amazing, with good number of options. The Kit Kat shake was good and strawberry mojito in particular was exceptional. This place is open until 1 am which also makes it ideal for late night food expeditions.
Maggi is the comfort food full stop! And imagine with their unlimited varieties they simply score a full ten! Try their Jhatka patka Maggi, their chilli cheese and their mizhakohambu Maggi! Just when you settle down after a few spoonfuls thinking life can't get better try their butties milkshake or their revived pan pas and milkshake! Trust me after that life can't get better! Don't be surprised if you find yourself reordering:)
If you like maggi..this place is heaven .
The perfectly cooked bowl of maggi with a menu of over 20 different preparations. The hostel maggi is something to try, with sev, onions tomatoes etc.. Loved it.. I also liked the paneer masala maggi, do give the milkshakes a try too. Overall , a must visit for maggi lovers .
Beautiful calm place. You can have business meetings here. I mainly go there for business meetings. The ambience is beautiful. You can talk freely.
Maggie is super . Red Bull is nice
Food taste is excellent. Panner Makhani rice is one of the best dishes I had.
People visiting thiru vi ka park can explore this as an option if one is adamant on veg only options. However, it may not work out for those looking for traditional south Indian dishes

Bit expensive. But love the Maggi. It’s alright to go once in a while. They serve the best Maggi combinations.
The service is a bit slow , Maggi is the only reason you should go there. Price is high for what their offering
Back here after so many years. The food was good but not sure why they take so much time to prepare a simple toast, french fries and few drinks. They were delivering one dish after the other took forever to get all the dishes.
Nice place, expensive maggis and some really good coffee. The seating and ambience is very comforting. Just sit and sip some coffee, forget everything else.
When you are trying to find the location, pls move little ahead of the Google pin as it's not correctly placed. It's 100 mtrs further ahead on the right.
Food is good. Ambience is okay okay. Furniture wasn't comfortable at all.. The seat height and table height didn't match at all.. Outside signage wasn't working so it was difficult to find it... Their hazelnut frappe is to die for!!! Loved it

Best late night coffe place to hangout by late night i mean only till 11:30 good service and nice coffee anytime very good fizz and mojitos too must try my personal fav the croaca blue fizz
