My craving for biriyani never ends. The exploration for biriyani is a vast plot and yeah I reckon only 1% of biriyani I have tried. Wanted to try some Andhra style biriyani since I like the way they layer the biriyani. Oru layer la flavourful rice and other is Masala Mixture. So decided to try one of the famous spots. Mirchi Cuisine is the one I choosed for. This is one of the old popular Andhra cuisine spot recommended by my fellow IT people. Located in thoraipakkam OMR. Have seen people waiting outside before covid days during peak lunch hours.

Our Orders:
Mutton Biriyani ( 279 INR): Firstly I would like to speak about the rice. Perfectly long grained rice with full of flavours. The Andhra style / hydrabadi style biriyani’s main is the flavour of the rice. The rice was colourful and the saffron water they used to sprinkle on the water elevated the taste to vereh level.
Coming to the mutton Biriyani. Mutton the Thalaivan of all biriyani will be best in every form. The masala mixture was perfectly spicy and the meat was wow. Big size 3 pieces and the meat was super tendor. WOW factor. The meat fell of the bones consistency was the key. Juicy and yes the well blended with the masala
Chicken Biriyani (199 INR): This was also a stealer . Andha masala irukeh 🤤 . Chicken pieces where huge and the taste was awesome. Oru leg piece inoonu big piece (Chicken Cake). A perfect chicken biriyani. The masala was suttle and taste great.
Fire Biriyani ( 239 INR): The name changer. Andhra foods is always for the spicy nature and this was one of it. Boneless chicken with extra masala tossed and perfectly dum biriyani. The biriyani was spicy and yeah justified the name
Andhra Chicken 65(205 INR): I always love the way they make the Andhra style 65. Tossed with more masala will end the taste vereh level. Perfectly spiced and soft pieces.
Biriyani’s come with usual mirchi ka salan and raitha. I love the raitha very much in Andhra hotels cuz it will be made up of buttermilk rather than usual curd which gives some sour taste to it which will get over with the biriyani very well.
Overall a spot to be tried if your craving for Andhra biriyani for sure

Good place to go for lunch. As the name says, food here is spicy and good. They provide a large quantity of everything you order. So be cautious when you order, you can order things one by one. We ordered so much that we couldn't eat everything at last. Cost is also affordable.

Pocket friendly place, good food and service. North Indian food is quite good here, which is not the case with most of the so called North Indian restaurants in the city.

My all time fav mirchi cuisine all Andhra lovers are going to love it for sure.The starter Andhra chicken 65 is very spicy and very flavour full dish I can say and they have many more startes also which are good.Coming to the veg biryani they will be giving 2 pieces and sufficient biryani for the correct amount.Last one is carrot halwa gave me delitfull.

I have visited this place many times, these guys always satisfy my tummy and myself with the taste and quantity of the food. My all times favorites Nixon chicken (aka chicken mionasse😍) , Tandoori chicken and Hyderabad chicken briyani and Sunday special kozhli varuval Briyani..my try place in OMR😍🤩
I had ordered chicken biryani, Chikcen boneless fire biryani and chicken Tandoori. The both biryanis are awesome taste and never had this kind of good tasty biryani in chennai and thanthoori was very good with little more spicy. I wish to order again and would recommend everyone try biryani here.
I’m from hyderabad, so trust me when I say that this is the best vegetarian biryani I’ve ever had! The portion is enough for two people, very good spice and ample amount of it! Goes well with the raitha and Salan(for people who can tolerate a higher level of spice than I can) I’ve not tried anything else from here but plan on ordering for Office lunch soon.
Pocket friendly place with one of the best briyani in town. Their Andhra chicken 65, amristari tikla and karupavapillai era varuval is must try.
If you want have a good Hyderabadi dishes and Andhra food in Chennai. This is the best place to have it. This was the only place in Chennai where I found food with spicy.

Went for lunch with friends and totally satisfied with food, varieties, taste and service.
Few must try from my side are 'Andhra Chicken 65', 'Prawn Pepper Fry', 'Mutton Bone Soup'.
Biriyani is typical Hyderabad style and all the different flavours (Fire, Koli Varuval / Thandoori of biriyani taste the same. One can expect delay in serving foods.
Even dessert served here like 'Gulab Jamoon', 'Mirchi Controversial', 'Royal Romance' are also good.

A group of 8 members, the waiting time was 10 mins as many companies are nearby. But placed the order while waiting so time saved.
The restaurant is very small and could have been a little bigger. There isn't much to talk about ambiance.
Service was very quick and they even served food. They were very polite and understanding.
We ordered both veg and non veg starters everything was top-notch. No complaints in general.
The main course was briyani, naan and paneer butter masala. Again everyone had a great meal and were happy.
Last touch was paneer soda. Overall we had a great time.

Been there for dinner. Tried their famous Fire biryani, it was not worth the hype. Chicken was so dry and rice and masala was good. Try kozhi varuval biryani instead. Can accommodate 30 to 40 people. Quantity is okay for one if you are really . Price is to much for this biryani. All are Hyderabadi style biriyani. Try if you are in chennai.
Mayonnaise chicken is must recommended. One briyani is good enough for 2 people. Ambience is very good.

The best place in chennai for trying Hyderabad biriyani and their starters are too good and yummy. My favourite and must try starter is chicken mayonnaise. The green leaf mushroom also too good. One of the best biriyani tasted ever

The ambience looks cool but the AC was not sufficient for the entire hall. They have veg as well as non veg food served. We were a group of 7 members started off with chicken pepper, manchow and veg manchow soup. The soup was good in its taste and quantity. Then the starters chicken tandoori, mutton Sukka, kozhi varuval, chicken mayoniese, panner, sweet potato and gobi fry. Tandoori, chicken mayoniese and panner had a very good taste. Mutton sukka had a very good cooked mutton which was soft but the masala did not get into the pieces. Sweet potato fry was very sweet in its taste. Gobi fry was not good as it was salty. Then the main course with fire biriyani, mutton biriyani, butter naan with mushroom gravy. The biriyani had a very good taste with a good amount of spice added to it. The mushroom gravy had a good quantity but the taste was not good as the raw tatse of the mushroom were still there after cooking. Overall a good place for people with average cost. A great place for weekend, gettogether and treats.

Heard a lot about this place and it lives upto it's expectation. One of the best hyderabad style biryani i have had so far also must try is mayonnaise chicken, it was good. Avoid Sunday as finding a place to sit will be difficult and be patient to be served as they take lot of time.
