Awesome place.
A best place for South Indian. ✨
Ambience 10/10
Taste 10/10
Service 10/10
Best place for Idli lovers. Very good and spacious
Restaurants with a vast availability of food.
Mini meals is my all time favourite in A2B . We get Chapati , kurma , Kesari, sambar rice, mixed rice, poriyal, pickle, papad, curd rice. All dishes were yummy except curd rice as it was like milk rice. Must appreciate the quantity and quality they are still maintaining. Must visit this place
Mini Tiffin is an amazing one. A2B has never failed you to amaze you - be it with taste, quality or quantity.
As you could see here, this package has two types of Chutney, Sambar as side dish. They tasted really good. Kesari was nice.
You would also get a mini masala Dosa, one idly, one ulundu Vada & little quantity of Pongal.
These are really filling to your stomach. Do not miss it.
Very good looking restaurant in a very good location in velachery. Its a big restaurant consists of a small size market too
I have ordered a Nei Roast Dosa n Coffee. The coffee was very good but the taste of Dosa was average. This chain has a very good taste. Three Chutnies n Sambhar was served
The quantity of side dishes were less. Dosa n Coffee was good quantity. The rates compared to Market were high. Need improvement on staff service
South Indian Thali meals is simply delicious. Nice variety of curries and veggies are their speciality. Quality and quantity along with reasonable pricing makes it great restaurant. However, their tag line can be modified. It says HIGH CLASS veg restaurant.
Of all the A2B outlets, I have been to so far, I found food here, the best. The restaurant could be well located from the main road itself and has parking facility. It has a large space for dining and separate sections for sweets & savories and a place where you could buy fresh vegetables and fruits as well. Self service and table service sections have been segregated. Our order was for Dahi papdi, Choley Bhature, Masala Dosa and coffee. Usually the chaat items doesnt taste too good in many places but we really liked the chaat here.
Had Ghee Dosa over here. I choose the self service counter. The dosa came within 10 minutes. It was a tall cone shaped dosa. I could smell ghee all over the dosa. The aroma coming from the dosa was just to great. the dosa was crispy and tasty with full of ghee. There was sambhar, coconunt chutney and mint chutney. this place is very good for south indian food
This is the best Restaurant chain for South Indian Food. Place is amazing and it serves the complete variety of The food. The Dosas are great and are of same quality everywhere and at every location of the Outlet. I have eaten at lot of outlets and the taste is constant everywhere. The best thing to try here is their filter coffee and Their dosas. I personally liked the Rava onion masala dosa which is a treat to your taste buds. Ghee idli is amazing too. The chutneys that they is on another level. They taste soo good that you can have your dosas just with those chutneys and you won't feel a thing. The Rava dosa melt in your mouth and they are yummy. The best south Indian food I ever ate is at this place. I have started to love South Indian food after being to this place and would recommend this to every individual to try this awesome restaurant and you will definitely love it.
Sweeetsss.the best sweets are available here. Good and hygienic.they are the go to place for authentic south indian food if you are an outsider.
It's my 4th time in this place. I came here basically lunch time. Here food test is good . it's too much croud bcoz of les price. Service is slow. I understand the service people are so tired they are working long hours duty .all the best
A bright Sunday Monday and an urge for South Indian food led us to A2B. I have never seen any A2B outlet so empty without people (guess that has to do with the time I visited), that it made the place look huge.
A quick dose of super soft idly arrived first, with triple chutney and sambhar. Masala dosa followed – crispy and yum, accompanied by chutneys and sambhar. And at last a heavenly crisp vada followed with cocnut chutney and sambhar. Filter coffee to top it all and that was a satisfactory breakfast. No complaints.
Hygienic pure vegetarian restaurant in Chennai
A lots of times i have visited Adyar Ananda Bhavan vegetarian restaurant in many branches in Chennai. They serve variety of cuisine dishes like South Indian foods, North Indian foods, Chinese foods and also they serves varieties of sweets like Bengali sweets, Milk and ghee sweets and dry fruits sweets and so on.
All dishes are highly pure vegetarian and its taste was good. It's well pretty ambiance.
Each and every time i noted they handled and served the foods with proper manner.
This vegetarian restaurant looks like hygienic restaurant.
Food price was reasonable.
A2B food is amazing as always. A little pricey though. Love their thalis .. sweets and snakcks are also good. Worst parking. Especially for cars. Horribly bad during peak hours .
Awesome !!!! Delicious food, good quality and on time..
The A2B food delivery is great and tasted good. Good vegetarian food.
Delivery is better than sitting experience. It is always crowded. Better order from home and have it relaxing at home/office.
I tried Pav-bhaji and the taste was good. Ambiance is fine. Very reasonable rates, so not to worry on the budget part. Service is okay. Overall it’s good!
pongal was very good , mini idly was ok
Awesome taste. Really enjoyed my meal. Dosa, poori, Pongal were all tasty.
Awesome taste never had such kind of meal 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Ordered lunch from here on a weekday. Northindian meal which we ordered was very nice. It was nicely packed and had a good variety too. All the dishes tasted very good. The breakfast items are yummy too. The khichdi was very yummy. All the dishes that I have tasted here are very good. Overall a very nice place for south Indian as well as North Indian dishes.
self-service. as taste as all the A2B outlets. breakfasts were good. lunch is not up to the level.can go for mini meals. a wide parking area.
This is a great place if you can brave the traffic of Vijaynagar junction.
I go here for chaats in the evening. They have separate seating area for chaats and juices.
Bhel puri and Paani Puri over here are among the best! Don't miss out on the Chocolate milk shake here.
Whenever we feel like south indian food...This is obviously the go to place.. because they never disappoint with the food..😁😁❤️👍
An extremely eternally crowded outlet in the heart of Velachery...With spacious parking and eating space...Serving everything from authentic tasty food,Indian snacks, fresh juices, chat items..😁😁👍
Their service line is great everyone is so attentive and focused. One suggestion if so would be to train their non tamil workers as they are not aware of the language and the menu.☺️
The standard and quality of food is top level. Nothing much to write as their brand is well known for their vegetarian food. When you don't want to take a risk with the food but be satisfied this is the go to place. But warning it's super crowded!!! 😁👍☺️
Everyone likes their food and sweets but I am fond of their Chat Items. Samosa Channa and Kochori is a must try if you're planning to have some snacks.
The waiting time could have been lesser since the delivery place was near to the hotel... Nonetheless the food was great and hot!!
Food quality is really good.Delivery is fast.A2B is one of my favourite restaurant. Thanks to Zomato.will order again through Zomato.while comparing to any other app Zomato is trust worthy and order delivery is super fast.
Quick bites.. pocket friendly and delightful food with quick self service. North indian meal was decent enough and chapathi and kurma was good too. It is at prime location and the staff is good.
True to its class... ghee roast dosa is never missed at any A2B.
I doubt how are they able to maintain the standardization overall at all the locations & state.
Quick to serve, smile on face - staff are at par
Filter kapi & mysore pak needless to say tops the chart.
Can't miss mentioning the awesome taste of jangreee/ imrati...
Delicious food and sweets although there must be a mention of drop in quality to a certain extent over the last few months.
During our most recent visit, we felt the difference most definitely.
Service still remains fast and good. Well priced and a decent ambience. Ample seating available.
Good for breakfast. Known for their sweets. Some shakes and faloodas are great. Overall, good despite the recent drop in standard; or was that just on the days when we visited. Time will tell!
Food was delicious and served hot. We loved their IndoChinese. Szechwan fried rice, paneer 65 and stuffed Kulcha were delicious.

Little crowded. Not comfortable for 5 people on that small table. The food taste was good. Service was good. We can go there for a quick bite.
I believe this is the first place that was started of this food giant. A very good place for family and friends with a great ambiance. They are maintaining the same quality as it was years ago. Located at the heart of Adyar.
They have Cafe type settings on the first floor, and in the ground floor normal restaurant. Overall good experience and good staff.
Visited this restaurant with my superior for having snacks in the evening. Too much of crowd on that time. There is no seperate parking for this restaurant. You can park the vehicle on the road side itself. As it is too crowded place it is taking some time to deliver our ordered food item. My superior had a bav bajji and I had filter coffee ☕. Nice smelling from bav bajji and the filter coffee was too hot and the aroma of the same is wonderful. Strongly recommend this restaurant for your hungry hours. You can also buy vegetables in the vegetable shop which is inside this restaurant.
Visited today and it’s my second time. We ordered for mini lunch called as mini meals. A huge hall welcomes you where with dividers you find seaters to sit. Table service is so fast and on time, that the time gap between order and service is just minutes. My order had one Poriyal, kalandha saadam, curd rice, sambhar rice, pickle, pappads and sweet.
The counter is for takeaway besides they sell yummy sweets and savouries while a/c hall is inside. There is a separate counter to collect takeaways and I loved their simple well lighted ambience. A place to stop by in MG road at Adyar.
As usual taste is fine... No complaints about the taste of kesari... But I don't think it's worth for the money... Other snacks we had was taste wise price wise ok. Ground floor bit congested and sounds like market... For us service was good. But nearby table were waiting for long time... Few employees enquired about the orders to them .... Still no one really took the order... Senior employees not so friendly with junior employees ( rude and shouting) .... Apart from this , as usual happy with the food.
Very tasty food, serving hot. Neat and Clean. Good ambience huge parking area too. Variety of sweets and savouries available.
The place is pretty crowded on the ground floor. If you want a quiet Atmosphere to enjoy with family then head to the first floor. It's quaint and quiet and away from the hustle bustle. This outlet is near the Adyar Bus depot and is a quick 2-3 minute walk from here. It's a perfect spot to chill after a bus travel or just chill after a busy day. On weekdays the ground floor is crowded but the first floor isnt.
I ordered the cheese pavbhaji which was a bit low on quantity but tasted good. The lemon soda was also good. Overall a good experience.
The taste is good, food is good but quantity is an issue. Dosha and other items like idiyappam are not available during lunch.
A great place for those who wish to eat in an authentic vegetarian South Indian food. People from the North too find some great dishes. Don't miss to visit Sweets & Snacks stall operating from inside.
Food full marks, Atmosphere and Services needs fantastic and needs small improvements.
A2B is an amazing place for sweets, savouries and chaat items. Even the south Indian tiffin is very tasty here. It's always a family favourite I'm sure not just for us but for everyone. Its become a tradition to shop here occasionally and especially during festivities. It gets really crowded due to the popularity and it's products but it's worth the hassle. Also they keep stocking the items so they are never sold out.
Ground floor serves only mini meals and South Indian snacks.
We went to the 1st floor, ordered mini meals, mushroom pepper fry and palak paneer.
Great taste of the food, good ambience, fast service.
If you want to have good meal and are short on time, it's a good place to visit.
Located in the prime area, vegetables, sweets and savouries at ground floor with dine in facilities. Good crowd in the evening.
A dine-in restaurant at the first floor serving North Indian, South Indian, Chinese varieties opens after 7pm in the evening. The ambience was good but still the lighting can be improved like it's sitting in the dark.
Coming to the food is not the worst not the best.
Chilli parotta was nice a little sour taste felt due to the oil, can be considered to improve otherwise good. Paneer Tikka is excellently soft and easy to scoop with a spoon. Mushroom biryani was good.
Rates a little higher it's felt but can be confident of no side effects. That's great.
Pretty good. The service was prompt. The servers were nice and quick to respond. Had paper roast which was really good but huge. Definitely try their Ghee Roast
First time, I got stale chutney but, the servers quickly replaced it with a new one with no argument
The food was amazing. Service was a little bit low. We tried the unlimited meal. Most of the vegetables were finished so I couldn't get extra but had additional sweet served.
