the beer is from barrel, so it tastes good and it is light(5% alchohol) so guests liek myself can avoid being served the nasty bootles of beer (8%) strong chemical beer sold uncer various foreing lables. Something unqiue Chennia/tamilnaud.
Food is not bad. Prawns and a variety. I visited some month back to wathc a cricke match. I was infatct going to dine/drink at neary The Residency hotel where there is a buffet at lobby, plus a bar -Black &white bar anjd athrid option a chinese chin chin restuarant that also serves tap(barrle) bar.
Since Residency was bit slow to accomodate I decided to cross to the other side and down the narrrow road next apterol bunk you will see lexxus Bar it is part of another hotel group.
I woudl visit again, except that if you visit by cab or pubic transport be prepared for late nite adventures. As chennai roads is very bad and lot of traffic cops ( ro gues.)

Have visited this place about 10 - 12 times. Most of the times with friends and a couple of times for a few drinks alone. The location of the hotel is very convenient and easily accessible. A calm and quiet place even when it's crowded in the evenings. The seating - leather sofa - is really comfortable although getting up and moving around is a bit painful as there is hardly any space between the tables and sofas. Not a big issue though...
The prices of drinks are reasonable and with the happy hours they become really attractive. Draught beer is available which is usually fresh and doesn't give you the bad taste of preservatives. We usually settle for tandoor starters. Chicken Tikka is a good option and we loved every bite of it. Well cooked chicken perfectly marinated with masala...!! One might probably call it pricey but, considering the taste, may not complain much about it.
Service is another plus, Sundar and Hariharan made sure we were comfortable and got our orders quickly.
If you are a smoker, you may not find the smoking room very attractive. The exaust needs to be better and the ash trays need to be emptied more frequently. A few smokes and you would smell like an Ash-tray!!
Overall, a very good place to hang around with friends or for a few drinks in solitude!!!
They have the best food served here, Service is good and location is great. Prices are also reasonable when compared to other places. They have a good ambience and they have designed a atmosphere that suits every mood.

I have visited a little long but yet one of my favorite place to hang with my best Buddy. Had few cocktails and spent around 2 hours or more talking. Nice ambience. But the only concern is the service. Very less people to serve a large crowd. So slow in service. Food was awesome

It’s located at The very famous Bennz park at basement very quick valet service to park car and when we entered the main entrance the Lexus bar is at the left wing we were the around 4:30 it was very quite and we are the only table occupied that moment went for combo 3 glass of beer and one chicken drumstick was made to the perfection and ordered for some imported tequila that was the top notch and placed orders for some food items taste wise is fine but portioning is very less I felt it was not a awesome experience but was ok

Silent and sometimes crowded place is exist in Benz park named lexus bar gives you wonderful feel. Few days back I went there had chilled draught beers with starters and they are running some beer with starters combo in lunch time.

Visited this place for a small party. Orders includes both veg and non veg starters. This time i opted for Veg and my orders were Mushroom Pepper Fry, Chilli Paneer and Pineapple juice. Mushroom pepper fry was awesome and i liked it very much. Nothing to complain about Chilli Paneer and Pineapple juice.
Non Veg Starters includes Chicken Tikka, Chilli Eggs, Chilli Fish and Fish Fingers.
Main Course include Naan, Veg Fried Rice and Veg Kadaai. All tasted nice.

One of the finest bar in Chennai!
Ambience was superb and the Bar people were real nice. Accommodated us at our preferred place, patient. Place was bright but gives a rich look and the glass walled smoke room was its highlight!
No DJ but they had a decent playlist unlike Secret Society which was too bad. We recommended to get a DJ, Dance Floor and Foosball deck. Special offers for international drinks will be shared during Moto GP race schedule.
We started with Draught beer (450) - British Empire Lager was served and it didn't taste good! Manager said they were just received as freshly brewed and hence that taste.
On sides we ordered Chilly Panneer, Lexxus Mushroom and Cheese Pineapple. Unfortunately none of them were satisfying!
We wondered how did this place didn't get good reviews in spite of superb ambience and service, then we got the answer!
Have put our feedback to Manager and he gladly accepted our suggestions. Our intention is only to improve the things 🙂
Then we ordered Chevas large on the rocks as there was 1+1 offer for international drinks. Instead of mint leaves bartender added mint syrup which tasted good when it was nicely diluted. Whopping 58% tax was put in bill and I began to cry on seeing that.
You can definitely take girlfriend as it was very reliable and decent place. Obviously, a best spot if you're going with friends and really a value for money.

The ambience of this place is really good. Went there with my friends and we had a great time over a couple of beers. We ordered one veg starter and a non veg starter. The veg one was mushroom. It was very spicy. The non veg starter was something in chicken I'm not exactly sure what it was but it was yummy. So sooooo good. You can visit this place for a couple of drinks and a quality time with your friends.

Location and standard of the bar is good. Just tried first time and looks promising. Can give a try once again to enjoy their discount( check menu ).
Ambience is good but seat arrangement is suitable for group of 4 to 6 people. I went with my friend and when tried to occupy one sofa they tried to push us to corner which has two seat that too near smoking room . Daaam... but we objected and occupied what we like. This action seems repeating for all the guess who come alone or two. Hotel should either change this approach or re arrange seats for small groups. 😏
We ordered pitcher which was just around ₹450, then chicken lollipop - 8 pieces less flesh but tasty and mutton Briyani ... yummy 😋

This place is located in the Benz Park Hotel in T Nagar and we decided to visit this place on a weekend. The Ambience is very basic- Dim lit, leather couches. It is advisable to reach this place around 8 as the place gets crowded and you need to wait atleast for 10-15 mins before you get a table. The service is kinda slow due to the crowd which needs to be improved. We ordered two pitchers of Long Beach Island Tea and one pitcher of Beer along with some french fries and a prawn starter. All the dishes were pretty good and the quantity was appropriate. The prices are great considering the rates other places in the vicinity charge. There is a separate smoking Room which is much needed. It was a nice experience and I am looking forward to visit this place again

I had been eyeing this bar and restaurant at Benzz Park for quite some time because of their great offers, I finally found the chance to go in on Sunday afternoon. They have happy hours offers through the week (please see attached picture). The bar is in the basement of the hotel and the alleyway leading to the bar has weird lighting but the bar in itself was quite nicely revamped. The seating was comfortable. They were playing the ongoing cricket match on a big screen. The service was really warm and friendly, the alcohol is extremely cheap compared to its counterparts in the city. I was very happily shocked to see the drinks rates. The food prices are in par with other restobars. We ordered black pepper lamb and finger fish. Both were superbly done. The lamb was delicious! The dip that came along with the yummy finger fish was so amazing. I loved it so much I asked for an extra serving. We also had potato wedges after that. Yum. The beer came with roasted peanuts which made me happy because that almost never happens anymore, all the bars want you to buy food. The music was subtle and nice, didn't obstruct conversation. We felt hot in between and the waiters switched on an additional AC for us. I had a great time and I'm totally going back for the cheap alcohol. PS. I went with male company and in the afternoon, hopefully its not girl-repellant in the evenings.

Lexxus is a great place to hang around with your friends for a mug of beer. Great ambience with soothing music. This place didn't disappoint me with the beer owing to the the lack of varieties of beer in Chennai.(of course with the 58% tax )

Went to lexxus on 9th Sep Friday night along with my frnd , ambiance have improved a lot , have been here many times , but with ambiance improvement comes the problem . The reason is after ordering drinks , they told they r not providing any sides for drink , since it's been converted to " Resto bar ". Common guys atleast provide some thing to have along with drinks . Even in big star hotel they atleast provide some salads and lays . The reputation of lexxus won't get spoiled if u provide some sides along with drinks. We can spend money on starters , but u guys also look into whatever I said above and try to be like old lexxus , which will fetch u more customers.
Service ; it was slow like a snail. Only one guy was looking after every table . Hope the service improves a bit.

I totally love this place, it's having good bar setup and menus are really good and staffs are polite and crowds are decent. We can hangout with our friends without much disturbances and noises. World Cup Matches are being screened there.
They have good offers going on like buy 2 get 1 free on match days. We ordered benzz platter and nachos and both were really good. It's totally value for the money. They are closing at 11:30 PM.

But I saw one amazing thing happened the day I went this place , actually there was an old man who came to have drink was totally sloshed and was not in state to walk . The bar staff booked an cab for old man ,the old man was very arrogant and was not ready to listen to staff made him to sit in cab .
