BBQ pizza was good the base is not thick like in many pizza specialised shops. Burgers and grilled chicken for 399.00 on selected days were pretty good.

For ₹199 and some chicken popcorn! It was filling, and good. They should add some masala in their chicken it’s a little plain, maybe that’s why people prefer kfc. Get some tips from your competition and maybe they’ll be doing great too! Bill for two chicken meals and popcorn was 543₹

Went to this place with no idea but satisfied. Good ambiance. My kids enjoyed with trampoline. For the weekend best place in nungambakkam. Staff are gentle and spoke friendly. We went 1st time We feel like a regular customer. Service little delay but food was really hot and tasty... better than Kfc.

Overall A Good Dine-In Experience.
Located in the prime area of Nungambakkam, Chicking offers Mexican-American chicken dishes such as burgers, wraps, and fried/grilled pieces. No issue with the taste and quality.
But you have to be quite intelligent while selecting your dish by comparing the price list carefully :)
It is any day better than KFC or MC'D.
But they really need to improve their interiors and service but their food is worth the money!!
Home Delivery is recommended! You can have double the quantity of food for the same you would spend single bill in kfc or mc'd.
I would recommend this to people without cribbing or comparing with other restraunts
The taste is almost similar, but is a bit more cheaper than KFC and the taste is also some what similar to the taste of KFC. Pocket friendly
A very spacious outlet. The quality of food is good. My fav is the supreme chicken burger. The coleslaw wasn't fresh the last tym i visited here. Must try their value packs, different on each day and almost double the quantity at same price. The service was is quite slow.
Ok place to visit, food is good too. But for a Hardcore KFC fan guess nothing can replace the flavoure of KFC at least the zinger burger and crunb fried chicken.

ChicKing and I go way back to the 90's back in the UAE, where they continue to remain in the shadows of KFC. But one thing that's always stood out about ChicKing was their chicken that was perfectly spiced for your taste buds to relish, everything about the fried chicken was just right.
Coming to the scene in namma Madras, where the KFC is just pathetic and a major rip off, fried chicken of a high calibre was just hard to find until I stumbled upon ChicKing on Sterling road.
Although being skeptical at first, on the first bite I was so blown away by the taste that I couldn't stop myself from digging in, for those of you who are familiar with the spicy version of the KFC back in the Gulf this chicken at ChicKing would bring those memories back.
Perfectly fried and extremely crispy, add to that a perfectly touch of spiciness and viola you have it !
Apart from the fries being a little too crispy and the place empty, ChicKing is definitely the place to make your fried chicken wishes come true.
Prices you ask ? Sooo reasonable that you'll hate yourself for eating the indian version of KFC.
Add to that a plethora of combos to choose from and you're bound to find your choice on entering ChicKing worthwhile !

ChicKing brings back the memories I share with them for more than a decade. Before giants such as McD and KFC spread their business in our country, ChicKing and Marrybrown were the market leaders or even more the market introducers of fried chicken, burger and fries to the city. This is also one of those places where I've lost count of the number of times I've been. i recently had the chance to eat here after a decade and given below is my review.
PROS:-
* The 90s kids of Chennai will definitely know ChicKing and if my memory is right, they had a lot of shops around the city. Today they are located at the busy Nungambakkam high road, one of the busiest main roads in our city.
* There is sufficient amount of space to park 3 cars and thats more than enough for the amount of customers they draw in. Two wheeler parking is ample.
* The ambience is pretty decent with well lit shop floor and clean and clear eating space.
* The menu hasn't seen a lot of changes over time and they stick to their usual burger and chicken meals. The Royal crunchy is pretty good here, so is the chicken wrap. The reason I prefer ChicKing and Marrybrown over KFC is the level of flavour and spiciness in the chicken.
* They recently started a menu for their off peak hours. This had amazing deals at very cheap prices. Burger and chicken combos, Wraps and chicken combos and chicken and drinks to name a few. They are very well priced at 99rs and 199rs + tax.
* A small fact from my friend who was my roomie back in London and worked for KFC as a manager. The chicken they fry have a shelf life of 45 mins before which they have to be sold or disposed. Since KFC has a high footfall, they cook chickens a number of times a day. Here in ChicKing, since the number of customers are less, they wait for the orders before frying the chicken. This may have a time lag but the dish will obviously be fresh and hot.
* They even have toy cars for kids to play around.
CONS:-
* Service is a huge issue here. The guys keep changing and the service they provide is a huge let down.
* While the burgers and chicken are tasty, at times they over fry it making it dry. The reason KFC stands on top is the juiciness in their meat.
* There aren't much options for veggies.
* The fries are a total disappointment.
* The drinks menu is very limited. Pepsi is the default drink.
Overall, I loved as a kid ChicKing and I still patronize it. While comparing ChicKing with KFC is like comparing a roadside idly shop with Saravana Bhavan idlys, there are many instances where we feel ChicKing is better. The price is very competitive making it easier on our wallets. Definitely a good place for a quick munch.

Fried chicken was great. It was served hot. Good offers available. Prices are ok . Car parking is available . Had fried chicken fries coke combo. Bought dips separates. Dips sere good.
Taste is good. But they removed kids play zone. So no more play zone in Nungambakkam Chicking.

I ordered fry chicken and grill chicken... Both are great in taste... But grill is on another level... Everything is perfect in grill... It's soft and have correct proportion of masala.... Ambiance is good.. We can easily park both two wheeler and four wheeler here... The only think needs to improve their customer service... Comprehensible about the food product is not fine...

They have a wide range of menu and most of the items are available. They are not as good as KFC but trust me their menu has hell lot of variety. I have had there couple of times during my 2 day stay in Chennai. Their honey wings are really tasty and also the rice with grilled chicken. They take a lot of time to serve the order but trust me every single item was hot and freshly made. The staff was very courteous. I would love to have at this restaurant everytime I visit Chennai. Kudos!
Ordered their chicken popcorn- medium. Great packaging. The food was still nice and warm when I received it. Portion size was good. There is an option to get large. Overall taste was a little bland without the ketchup. I could taste the oil a bit as well. But thats just my personal opinion as I don't enjoy very oily foods. Looking forward to trying other dishes from them.
They can make feel good smell inside the store. Even though it is a one and only store in this area there is nobody in the store!!!
