After a heavy dinner , opted for the dessert place . When we were looking for an option found out the roll over place . Pretty amazing and full of fun . Mango was relish and amazing chocolate was smooth and lovely .
Icecream rolls have been around since 2011 when the middle East came up with it. Overtime it made it's way to India. The chocolate Swiss rolls is one of a kind icecream where the icecream scoops are flattened and rolled to perfection while maintaining it's structural integrity and shape. There are many outlets that tried to imitate the style but none come close to what Rollover has. Overall for an experimental side in desserts.

Location and Ambience :
This outlet of the famous Roll over is situated at the start of Pantheon road, egmore.(Below and Beside the flyover).
I felt it was a bit hard to find the place.Being at the edge of the road.
The ambience was of an ordinary Ice cream parlour with the usual posters and graphics.
But the management was quite helpful and generous. (Even gave us a complimentary jar dessert ;) )
The food :
We tried the :-
Irish coffee : It was good. Rolled coffee ice cream with tiramisu pastry.The Ice cream was good! The pastry, I felt was too chocolaty and didn't get any tiramisu feels.
Choco lava therapy : It was vanilla ice cream rolls served with chocolate sauce and a small Choco lava cake. The Choco lava cake was tasty! But I felt it was too small considered the name is Choco lava therapy !
Devils chocolate : This one was my favourite. Chocolate ice cream rolls served with chocolate sauce and rich chocolate pastry! Everything was so good and true to it's name! For all the chocolate lovers out there.
Mango punch : Mango ice cream rolls served with mango mousse served with coconut milk(I think) . The ice cream tasted nice. But the mousse was so hard, it was harder than the ice cream. Served more softer, it would have been better. A little bit disappointing on the Mousse !
Peachoman : This ones for all the fruit lovers. It is basically vanilla and mango ice cream scoops mixed with peaches and nuts. It was good, but I doubt it's a liking for everyone's Taste.
Overall, it's a good place to go enjoy some rolled over deserts! Each rolled ice cream is served as 4 peices.
Note ,the exotic sundaes are normal ice cream scoops and not rolled.

Happy atmosphere... all the dishes with Chocolate are up to the exception.. farrero rocher milk shake be the best.. the chocolate sause is thick and delicious.. the white cream served with litchee ice cream is'nt that good.
Must try place for ice creams lovers. This small outlet has always been crowded whenever I've visited. My first visit was on a late Sunday afternoon with my cousins. The place was nearly full. We had to wait some time to place our orders but the posters and sticky note feedback kept us busy that we didn't mind waiting! :D
The service was quick though. All of our 5 ice creams and 1 milkshake was obviously chocolate based. Everything including the Death by Chocolate was delicious. The sweetness and taste of chocolate was not overpowering or way too rich. It was subtle and could be tried by anyone. The milkshake too was good. Had right consistency and was not too watery.
Good place to try out some yummy rolled ice creams and not a burden on your pockets!

One of the best ice cream parlor that serves ice-cream rolls, they serve different kind of flavors and best place to hangout at night. Recently It has come up with chocolate pan and malai rolls !!!
Roll over is a very well known dessert place trending across the city but is it worth the hype?
Well absolutely! because this place serves a wide variety of Classic Thai roll over desserts and this place has a unique menu to pick for. They have their own take on them, their chocolate dome which is an absolute delight and the presentation is outstanding and all it's desserts are unique and they taste phenomenal.
The ambiance is cool, nothing to brag about and the prices are pretty decent so overall it's worth giving a try and surely it won't disappoint your sweet tooth cravings.

Roll over has come up with a variety of new premium flavors that includes the guava chilli. Beautiful pink ice cream rolls are not berry based but chilli! These spicy and cold served ice creams leaves your taste buds confused. Lychee rush and devil's chocolate are other flavors worth drooling over!

We ordered death by chocolate ice cream, whuch was served with choco rolls with choco sauce with choco drizzle and choco chips . Its for chocolate lover.. overloaded with choco.
Cheese pineapple cherry flavour: mixed flavour, tried an unusual flavour. Cheese in ice cream??!! Obviously yes. It tasted good.
Butterscotch sin ice cream was crunchy,
Lychee twist ice cream was exotic.
Pista berried was with scoop of pista flavour and topped with stramberry sauce.
Life is a whole lot better with roll ice creams, got attracted by their motto "why stoned,when you get rolled" a decent ambiance . Their French fries with Flavoured spices were lit๐ฅ
Absolutely love the decor. Didn't realize they were open late at night as well! Came after dinner for a quick dessert. They have shakes, rolled ice cream, and different sundae creations as well as fries.
We ordered an Irish coffee rolled ice cream. It was nice and iced, not melted, but rich and creamy. They served it with a shot of chocolate syrup and a cake. The cake seemed a bit too iced would have preferred something softer. All in all a nice late night place to go as they are also open till 1am.

Located right near the Alsa mall, Roll over will be the next stop after having bread omlet. Been here thrice and have tasted only the rolled ice creams. My most favourite is cheese pineapple cherry, it's always the one I have whenever I visit a roll over outlet. The rolled ice creams are served with waffles, which is crunchy & tastes good! ambience is eye catching, service is quick! Opened till 1am on weekends, best to visit for a late night ice cream cravings!

I am a late night foodie.. Me and My wife crave for good quality food.. My wife being the real foodie tries all the latest food joints in the city to the star hotels restaurants.. Every weekend in chennai itโs always been a movie to complement with good dinner and deserts.. Being close to her place and on the famous Alsa Mall Road this place was not noticed by me until got hungry and bored late at night .. so thought of spin in my car and thats when I noticed this beautiful place in the heart of the city..
grown up in the southeast , have always tried their delicacy at Singapore,Bangkok and Malaysia.. but to my suprise finding the same ice cream rolls in chennai was a super bonus for me .. and to add on my wife craves for authentic quality food so we dropped in .. first off all this place is open up until late which is a bonus in chennai like those real food place in Bangkok with the ambiance having painted walls having trendy food punch lines..
Seeing on those YouTube and Fb and on those food channels on the tv makes one drools seeing those yummy ice creams all day and seeing it live in chennai rite before your eyes itself was a bonus.. the way these guys smashes the ice cream and rolls it adds flavour topping makes your mouth water already..
I asked my wife to order for me as well and she was excited to go for chilli guava and Chico chip.. to complement the late night eat we ordered some yummy fries as well.. it was a real feast for my taste buds..

So I've been seeing Thai ice cream roll videos and photos all over social media, and wishing that I could try it without going to Bangkok.
Roll Over brings the fun to Chennai, and right at my doorstep too! We ordered a guava chili Thai ice cream roll, and it sure was exciting! Reminded me of how we eat sliced guava with chili and salt at home but even funner.
Got French fries to go along with it, they were hot and crispy. Try dipping them in your ice cream it's what Shaheema does!

There are more variety of Ice-creams. Especially, Choco Lava Therapy was soo nice. The pricing seems reasonable. The fries are okay and the dips are good. My suggestion is that some short eats can be added to the menu.

This new place at egmore near Alsa mall is a must try for ice-cream lovers. Their menu is quiet unique as they serve ice cream rolls of different flavours. I had tried their blueberry and litchi flavours which were good. Each ice cream cost about Rs.150 but the taste and quality justifies for it. Overall food and the ambience is good.
This place in pantheon street is damn aww. The best fries and dip, I have ever had. And chocolate karma is just mind blowing. We had fries, chocolate karma and chocolate flvrd roll icecream. Our bill was around 600. This place is one of the best places in Chennai for roll icecreams. We felt it's Worth the money .
Yes this outlet has been recently opened in Egmore. The place was really good to have ice cream. There are many varieties to choose from. You will get confused which one to choose because everything is nice here.
A small place in egmore. The rolls of ice cream are delicious and creamy. They don't leave a stickiness after eating. The chocolate sauce is thick and chocolatey. The are open till 11 during the weekdays and I think they are open till 2 during weekends. They also have home delivery. The only drawback is the loud music. Even when we ask them to reduce the volume they don't. It gets kind of irritating after awhile but otherwise a nice place for good ice cream.
Nice place with different feel for ice creams the best part is you can select your combo and they prepare in front of you only annoying part is when your there on table you hear the noise of the making of rolls apart from that the quality is really good

After a good shopping in pantheon's road took mom to this place. Ordered Guava chilly expecting the flavour to be something like the one we get in Bombay Kulfi but my bad it tasted like artificial flavour but tried their signature dessert which was good.
I order two ice-cream.One is pudding which is not good it is very hard to eat and the taste also not so good when compare with others and second one is death by chocolate it is one of the awesome food.it is like a stress buster delight and size is so big which can statisfy any customer.so I my suggestion if u go to roll over don't miss the death by chocolate .The service time also quick and the atmosphere is so good with nice music.

Rolled ice creams from thai origin now in roll over Chennai so this shop was on my wishlist . This shop has a very limited seating options thankfully it wasn't crowded . They make ur ice creams just in front of you so their is no added much of preservatives and stuff it's fresh that is one good thing about this place . The rolled ice creams are served with fruits or sponge cakes or brownies with their respective sauces . We ordered for devil's chocolate a bang on treat for chocolate lovers ๐ and mango rolls which was served with a mousee that wasn't that great . We tried the blueberry ,Snickers and strawberry rolls from a stall they put in one of the culturals .They were amazing they are just rolls and no additionals along with it . The cost is reasonable and the quantity is more than enough .

Good place for having some really tasty ice creams.But the fries here were disappointing.Irish coffee sundae is the best flavour so far i have tasted.Normal ambience with price between 120 to 200 around for single ice cream.
Ok , I have been here. Icecreams are tasty , staff are polite , ambience is good for a small icecream parlour (though no parking space) and cost is good. All I want to ask is , WHY ?? What is the point of rolling perfectly good icecream ?? It looks cool when you look up ads on Instagram. But aside from that it makes no sense to me. Apart from the aesthetic of it , I can't wrap my head around this concept , because you have to wait atleast 10 minutes even if you order plain single flavours and there is no take-away. So there is no real point to this concept , and it is overhyped in my opinion. No other con except that , which is more of a personal irk for me I think.

Their USP is their ice cream rolls which is accompanied with different pastries. We went for Devils chocolate and vanilla chocolate fudge!!
Devils chocolate was listed as one of their signature gourmet ice creams!! It was chocolate ice cream rolls with choco sauce and a chocolate pastry!! Taste was indeed good!! And it was haven for chocolate lovers!! The later dessert, was usual choco vanilla scoops with choco sauce and nuts!!
The ambience was good and service was Ok ๐. During weekends they were open till 1 AM night!! Sit out is quite spacious and could accommodate 10 to 15 members!! A must try once outlet for their ice cream rolls ๐ฆ ๐จ

Ice cream is always fun to eat. Let it be normal cone ice cream or a magnum thing. Roll over @is one step further! They call it as roll ice cream! The way they prepare, the way they serve it with some shots(made up of milk). It's gave me a complete satisfaction when I walked out of roll over.
It's a small place near to alsa mall. Max 35 people can occupy here. We have tried quite few things:
Devil's chocolate: 4 rolls of ice cream with brownie and chocolate sauce! It's heaven!
Mango madness: roll ice cream served with mango pudding. Which is really good but doesn't stand near to devil's chocolate.
Hawaiian Punch: similar to mango madness it has rich fruits. Not a thing to be tried over here since it tasted to typical ice creams.
Lychee rush: again similar to Hawaiian Punch served with lychee fruits. Fruits has been freezed so it didn't taste so good.
Last two ice cream will not give you any surprise. It's devil's chocolate which is so nice and Rich in chocolate. I will visit again and explore rest of the things and keep review updated!
The rolls were made with the best fresh cream. Personal favorites were the lichiee and blueberry. The blueberry had a hint of creamcheese which enhanced the flavour of the blueberry. The fries was good. I had the peri peri and cheesy dip. The ambience was pretty lit.
