Very unique place with unique sandwiches. Murukku sandwich was the highlight. If you like it spicy, take it without cheese. We also tried Khakda and Bhujia which was also unique.
When you end with masala thumbs up or a chocolate pan, it's a bliss.
Staffs are amazing. Good hospitality. Service is fast.
Note - It is a stand and eat place. You might not able to stand inside this place as it is very small.

Price is decent. We paid around 450 for 7 sandwiches, 3 drinks and 3 pan.

We landed at Ashok Pan House for the masala thumbs up after a long walk in the name of ‘food walk at Purasawakkam’. After eating much more than what our tummies could hold, we needed this drink to help with the digestion and it definitely came as a refresher. The masala thumbs up cost Rs.20 INR. They do have few other chat items and cupcakes but we weren’t keen on anything else. Also, they have masala Fanta but that wasn’t my favorite.
This outlet opposite to reliance fresh, have been here couple of times. Every time I visit I have a masala puff which is the usual puff along stuffed with supe spicy green chutney, chopped onions and bhujia sev. Which is my favourite.
I've also had masala thumbs up which is good. Pani puri veg sandwich and other items are usual.
Meetha paan is something you should definitely try here which is also my favourite from here.
Got no pictures from here because the food is in tummy by the time I realise I should have taken a picture :P

we went to Ashok Pan house for some masala thumbs up. We also had a cheese bhujia sandwich which was very good. That masala drink was much needed as we had more places to cover. Kinda digesting what we had till now and creating more space :D Paid 220 here Sandwich at 60 each and thumbs up for 20
very famous and busy spot in pursavakkam, u can ask any localite they wud be familiar with shop.small place with full pack of items. when ever I cross the shop I take sweet pan for sure. to be frank guys hae never tried any other item of them except sweet pan and masala thumsup so cant comment on it, but they always have people standing for some other items.

A good place to have some quick fast food. The sandwiches..puffs..are really good here. I usually have masala thumbs up here no matter what else I order. Along one can have sweet pan to finish your snack.
Purasalwalkam is indeed indebted to have lots of these little joints serving some lipsmacking quick bites. This one's a miniscule place located on the buzzing Raja Annamalai Road.
After gorging ourselves gregariously at Links, we stopped here for a bhujiya cheese sandwich, masala thumbs up and meetha paan. The sandwich was well made with the green chutney infused inside along with a magnanimous coating of bhujiya giving the due crunchiness. The Masala Thumbs up was like a great foil after the ravenous adventure and to end it all we had to have the Paan which this place is ever so famous for and it surely lived up to it's reputation and gave just about the rightful fillip.
The rates are nominal and the place works as a charm for all those looking forward for some easy on the pocket fast food. They have a lot more stuff in their kitty and I wouldn't refrain trying them out if I get a chance to venture out to this part of the city.

Its an amazing place for sandwiches( especially cheese toast and grill sandwich), vegetable puff and hot dog. Its extremely famous for its pan and masala coke. Service is quick . Definitely worth trying this place.
Very well known for bread items. Have always been a lover of their hot dog n grill sandwich. Very nicely done. N how can I forget their sweet pans. Always been my cravings after a nice dinner for me n my family :)
The best pan shop I've ever come through, their pans have a way back in history. But that's not all, their sandwiches are also very good and masala puffs and their famous masala thums up!👍

Their veg grilled sandwich is classic . Only issues some people might have is that it's realllly spicy. Personally I love it. Their masala thums up is also crazy .

I had been there, the thing which I liked and would recommend to have is the corn cheese puff & the masala coke + the grill sandwich & chocolate sandwich.
Any train travel that I am taking up is incomplete without taking a bite at Ashok Pan house.The have quite a big range of sandwiches to pick from,but my favourite will always be the Normal Bread sandwich.It has everything in the right proportions.Everything about it is just perfect.The Mint chutney,the Cheese spread,the onions,cucumber,the tomatoes etc.And their Masala Thums up is something to die for.Jaljira masala mixed with a generous serving of Thums up ! Worth the money !
