- Seeraga Samba Veg Briyani (drool worthy😍)
- Podi Idlis (that crunch and crisp of the podis👌🏼)
- Kuzhi Paniyaram 🤩
- Nannari Sarbath (Sweetness and the Flavour - just perfect)
- Kusthi Paal (so goddamn rich and makes us feel like royalty)
- Any dosai - 👌🏼 and the different chutneys and Sambar ❤️
- Sandhavai Inippu or kaaram - their idiyappam version and damnnnn 🔥 It was soooo good!
- Inippu kozhukattai with that sweet banana chutney is to die for!!! 🤤🤤🤤🤤 - one of my fav desserts!
Cant wait to go there again for their yummy food and the vibe it gives us!
Can go with family for lunch or dinner (which i prefer) and just enjoy the day as everyone ll like the food (from 6 to 60s)
And Very good Service! 👏🏼👏🏼
Kudos to the management for maintaining the same quality over the years!
Before we took the afternoon bus to Bangalore we lunched at @cookgramam (Cookgramam), a quaint little eatary with cooking style and recipes from regions across Tamil Nadu using quintessential traditional and organic ingredients.
The decor is rustic and you feel you are eating inside a home in a typical village, the walls have 'kolam' designs painted, the food is served on plantain leaves, use of copper utensils and tableware is predominant.
There is a small patio where you have the option of dining in the open too.
Each item in the menu is carefully put together to stay true to the 'Gramam' style of cuisine.
We ordered:
1. Nellikkai Charu (gooseberry lemon mint juice)
2. Vazhapoo Varuval (plantain flower bhaji)
3. Keerai Choru (local greens mixed with 'ponni' rice) this was served with rice vadam, coconut thuvayal, vazhakkai poriyal
4. Paruppu Kootan Choru (lentil and millet rice) served with vadam, coconut chutney, poriyal
5. Katti Paal 65 (paneer 65 prepared in Chettinad style)
6. Payasam of the Day - we had Kambu /Bajra/ Pearl Millet Payasam, a light dessert made of millet flour, sweetened with jaggery and topped with grated coconut
Would definitely recommend this place.
Good homely food with good service.
The store attached to it is very good.
Had visited the restaurant a couple of times with family.
Pros:
1. Food
2. Ambience (outdoor seating as well as roof top)
3. Staff
Cons:
Heard that they had stopped breakfast. :(
Food: Had dinner with family. The Dosa and Adai with 5 types of chutney was good. Especially the groundnut chutney and beetroot chutney was out of the box.
Vaazha poo vada was traditional and hot. The kezhangu fry is authentic.
Ambience: The concept of outdoor seating was good. The little water flow, scooter front cutting, small horse statue, was catchy.
Recommended: It is highly recommended to have dinner their for all sorts like couple (backyard seat) and families (Front outdoor seating) and for friends get together (roof top). All in one.
Will try to visit once again.
This restaurant has got a very good ambience , Ordered Karuvepillai podi dosa , thattu Idli , Uthapam. The Heroes are Sambar and chutney, My favourite Dish is Thattu idli. would strongly recommend for Good and Healthy food. They are a bit over priced for the quantity served.
Traditional and Healthy food lovers, this is the place for you. Worth it. Visited for lunch, and they had a variety of starters. Also restaurant is linked to the organic store, which makes it even more traditional.
Food 4/5
Ordered Poricha Vendikai and it was really worth it.
Ordered Millet Meals and Limited Meals. Loved the meals varieties here.
Also ordered Vegetable Briyani, and it was not bad.
Ambience 3/5
Could improve the ambience, though indoor atmosphere is calm, but they could still improve the indoor ambience. Also they have a nice outdoor seating too.
Service 4/5
Staff were polite. Food didn't take too long to arrive.
Overall, wonderful experience, though I am not a traditional food lover, but still I feel this place is worth it.
Awesome place with outdoor seating... ambience was literally good with full of calm nd organic things like vettiveru partitions,Trees and Plants ..Organic food combined with nature .
Visited this once with a group of friends & totally enjoyed our time here. Nice seating arrangement. Lovely service. Healthy menu. We ordered a combo breakfast & finished it off with a yummy nanari sherbet. Highly recommended for a healthy breakfast..
What ah menu... Really traditional and healthy choices... Must try restaurant,.......
Pleased to ve nice service from jaikumar........... Thansks
....,... ..... Thanks dinout fr great deals.......
Went for lunch. Ordered Thali. It's worth trying.
The taste is up to the mark. Since, its an unlimited thali, quantity is not an issue.
Service is decent. The staff us polite and helped us explaining the different dishes in the thali.
However, the place needs more maintaince in terms of ambience and restroom.
Overall a fine experience. They don't use vanaspati, preservatives etc. And you feel that quality in their food servings.
The ambience made me so nostalgic and the organic veg food was defnetly an worth start.. I had suryavamsam idly upma which tasted delicious.
It is great place to come and have food if you are a lover of health as well as taste ...it is a truly amazing place to have food like what our grandparents use to eat..I have hear them tell that they use to miss their paramabariya unavu in the restaurants and that it has a unique taste and flavour to it ...
It is a must come place to experience the gramam style of food and give a heavenly delight to our taste buds😋..
Will definitely come and visit again..
The best food from back to old tradition. Awesome and Healthy. But only one quantity is small. Pls increase the quantity. So that I'm giving four stars or else definitely five stars
Awesome place. vegetarians do come and visit. Chinna vengaya thokku dosa must try, delicious one. Even drinking water tastes excellent as it ain't normal water, vettiveru/nannari water is being served. organic food at reasonable price, good ambience.
Felt like home away from home.
The food transported me to my Grandma's kitchen. We had Pavakkai stuffed Dosai, Kara Paniyaram, Thakkali sandagai and Nannaari Sarbath. Will definitely return for more.
This place is definitely a must try option for all the people who love Tamil Nadu style vegetarian food.
Ambience is simple and neat. They also have an organic store as shown in photos where you can purchase different products from natural soaps, shampoos to millets, organic rice varieties, pickles, powders, etc.
The staff are friendly and polite. You're served with nannari water instead of normal water which itself is a refreshing change than other restaurants. Food is tasty and though options are limited, it gives you a village feel as the name suggests.
I tried potallanga rings, for a person who has never liked that vegetable, this starter was good and the side was a potato saucey style dip; which was different too.
Millet meals for 160 has enough variety with each rice made of different millets and all tasted good. Buttermilk was given at the end. The payasam made of karupatti tasted good as well. Their special pacha arisi paruppu choru is a must try dish there.
Looking forward to visit the place for dinner once to try the other food items as options are limited for lunch.
A very different restaurant compared to other restaurants. The place provides fresh air in the open area and lot of positive vibes. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The owner of the place is also very sweet and attends all the customers nicely. The food prepared is very fresh and taste is also very good. The food seems to be very healthy as well. The restaurant also has a organic store within it where we can buy all types of organic stuff. A must visit place in Anna Nagar.
Quality of Food is Excellent....Awesome Taste. Especially the Thakkali(Tomato) Thokku Dosa, and Spinach Dosas..Very yummy 😋. They change the flavours of 5 types of Chutneys each and everyday,Sambar Superb....and BREAKFAST is also very nice....Lunch,Millet meals and I think 12 types of side dishes are there in Meals like Thovayal, Thokku,Vadams,Moor, etc.,
Thalicha Neer moor simply nice.In Desserts,A2milk kova,Payasam, really yummy..Finally,the Flavoured Milk are So good and Original A2 milk... Service is Really Good... Organic Products too available @G organics in Same Campus....
This resto in Anna nagar is a perfect place to bring your family.
Ambience - wonderful. The place has got diff seating arrangements few in open area (cane chairs), thinnai seating (to sit on an elevated platform), balcony seating and indoor AC seating. Choose what suits you.
Food - wonderful again! It brings you closer to your roots. All south indian fare yet they dont fail to amaze you. So many varieties you are spoilt for choice and yet all are healthy! Serving wholesome food without/minimal harmful preservatives, chemicals and overpowering flavours is no joke and i feel they are handling it well.
Millet vadai - very nice, Neela chenai varuval (yam fries) with a yummy inhouse dip (no mayo), paniyaram - good.
Thengaipaal soup was good with a garlicky flavour.
Kal dosai - very good. Seeraga samba biriyani was superb with their poondu kuzhambu.
Kambu dosai - was not desirably hot that was the only setback.
Thakkali oothappam was very nice with a dash of parupu podi.
Their variety of chutneys are very good - coconut, peanut, pirkangai, poondu, kara chutney.
We finished it with a panankalakandu chukku paal - so soothing it was.
Service - top notch. The person managing the place greeted us warmly and we were shown around for seating options. They are aware of what they serve and are able to suggest according to your preference. Ms. Aishwarya handled our table and deserves spl mention.
Would definitely recommend this to people who want to show their kids the umpteen food options that are rooted in our culture unexplored.
We went for dinner here they had both outdoor and indoor service. Averagely priced and service was also good. Seems to be pocket a friendly restaurant.
Vazhapoo varuval, poondu milagu dosai and Chuku pal was superb.
kambu poori and santhavai lemon was also good.
More number of dishes with quality food.
Very good place to eat and excellent service
Kids and old perosns can enjoy atmosphere
complete vegetarian dishes.
Try varagu pongal, vazhapu varuval, Thakalithoku dosai, Moorkali
First time I'm trying this navadhaniya food.. cook gramam gives best taste. When we entered as they celebrated pongal festival they have kept the pongal paanai decorated with flowers and the restaurant set up is totally like village.
We ordered unlimited meals, which includes typical meals varieties and it include ragi roti, millet rice... It is worth for money and taste is also good compared to other veg restaurants
We ordered navadhaniya limited meals, which includes thinai, kuthiraival, vargu arisi and it includes payasam, ragi roti, poriyal, vadai, vaathal. Those who wanted to try something different can go for this navadhaniya meals.. worth for money... As it's pongal celebration we got karumbu instead of welcome drink
Tasty and fresh food and also new food items or it is a old one which we forget. Only Cons is that they took too mu
Much time to serve. I'll sure come again.
A place for healthy eating.
Ambiance: 4.5/5
Ambiance is just pleasing. It gives us some traditional feel. Both dining tables and floor seatings are available. Outdoor seatings are even more alluring.
Service: 4/5
Though the service wasn't quick, they are good at suggesting and responding.
Food:4.5/5
Starters:
Pal Katti 65 - which is nothing but paneer fry.
We also ordered for podalanga rings, but it was not served even after completing the main dishes. So finally we cancelled it.
Mains:
Cookgramam unlimited meal
Seeraga samba kaigari biryani
KuthiraiVali thakali soru
Pollachi arisi paruppu satham
Paruppu kootan chori
Kuzhambu choru
To be honest we didn't find fault in the taste among the items we ordered. The taste was unique and felt like eating healthy. Every dish had either vazhathandu fry or potato fry as poriyal.
The quantity was less for the cost.
Parking: it's manageable.
Note: they have their own organic store in the ground floor. Almost all our needs can be satisfied here.
Vfm:4.5/5
Love, Love, Love only! The decor be the best! I went for an evening snack and just loved the outdoor lighting and the feel 😍 There is Thiruvalluvar, Pillayar and horse crafted the best and looked so cool...! Every single detail😍
Next the customer service, all smiles and makes you feel warm! The person who did the service made me try out Vallara Keerai Soup. I am not a liker for Greens! This was all new, but I loved it and drank the whole! Then the paniyaram...! I wish I could show that crispyness! The best paniyaram I have ever had! By this time, my tummy was full and I parcelled Seeraga Samba Briyani! So good the packaging was! Next time for sure not going alone but with my squad! Did I say? The bill was just around 300 bucks! Yes, so cheap right? But the quality and quantity was so so so so good and awesome! Going again for sure! Trying out the next ! Can't wait!
Customer service :5/5
Decor and Ambience :5/5

I am being very honest! Could really not think of any miss!
My husband gave treat here on his birthday four days ago...initially we fixed one restaurant in mind and started.on the way happened to see this restaurant and my husband told lets give a try...i was very much hesitated at first after my husband much request reluctantly i visited this restaurant.....first coming to ambience it was very cool and pleasant.you have both exterior and interior seating....parking space is outside....we opted for interior seation which has aircons.....below the restaurant has organic super market where all organic things are available...now coming to the food first we ordered snake guard rings which was accompanied by potato dip...here the dip is the spl mention tasted too good...then ordered yam roast with the same dip again a good dish.my kid loved the dip a lot...then ordered millet pongal , mini sambar idli , plain dosa , garlic dosa and sweet which was like akkarai adisal like sweet kheer....all tasted excellent and absolutely no complaints....price is moderate for all the dishes the bill was only 600rs...staffs were very helpful and one person called vagath he explained all the dishes clearly and also interacted with chef kamesh.they were courteous and kind......what they are doing is an excellent job...keep up the good work...ultimately my husband birthday ended with sweet note....its a place worth visiting with family and friends....would like to try their lunch and other dishes....you guys are really rocking.....
.
Reached this place around 3 45 PM on a rainy evening hoping there would be meals available and they welcomed us with open arms! Chose the seating in the first floor which remained so warm even with the cold weather outside. The interiors are cozy and definitely will make you feel home-like :)
Order : 2 unlimited meals, senai Nila varuval, saffron milk
No complaints on the order or the service! They were outstanding.! The food is soo yummy and light on stomach! No unnecessary extra irritants or masala in any of the items! The senai Nila varuval along with the mayo like dip made out of potato was so yummy that we ordered for a second serving of it! Every single item on the meals were just like it's straight out of mom's kitchen 😻 Special mention to the Vella payasam that was super hot and with right amount of sweetness, complemented exactly with the rain! Ended the meal with a rich hot saffron milk with generous strands of saffron and loads of naatu chakkarai :) Can't wait to do a second round to this place :)
Total bill for 2 : 562/-
Wonderful place, absolutely delicious food, and very courteous service; Our server Ms Aishwarya was very sweet. The food is native, organic, unrefined/polished, & utterly delicious.
Certainly coming back again & many times more.
Never knew healthy food could be sooo yummy. Lovely ambience & great service. Must visit for all vegetarians & vegan food lovers. Casually dropped in & was pleasantly surprised.
Food was good. But no Wow factor. Maybe they will improve. Sanjeevani at Nungambakkam seemed better. Not comparing Meals as such. Mainly, I could not see anyone in charge of the whole thing. Since I couldn't find menu in Zomato, posting the same.
An overall traditional experience!
Place: @cookgramam Anna nagar
.
Ambience: Have you been to a village lately? Well we never knew Anna nagar had this pretty small village exclusively for organic food. The giant pot at the entrance, thiruvalluvar statue, and the ganapathy gave a typical movie set feeling, so good to be real. It also has a pond near the stairs, with greenery everywhere. However, we chose the cosy open roof space on the first floor.
.
Food 🍛: To start with, we were served with five different types of chutney - sour to sweet. The melagu podi dosa was an absolute delight. Mini idlies were tossed with keerai. This unusual combination left even the middle aged confused of what it was! Guess organic food roots deeper than our mother's generation! Melagu podi idli and ragi kozhukattai were the other dishes which did not disappoint us. .
Experience: 4/5
.
Tip: Drop in for VERY RELAXED lunch or dinner, sit back and relish the food and the view, so that you cope with the slow service.
Its an awesome place for nature lovers. Ambience is excellent. Organic food at a budget friendly price. What more do we want. Enjoy the food along with nature.
For a Change Picture !! Cook gramam meal ipadi vazhichi saapudalam avalo taste. Service staff are all so polite and humble :-) Keep up the good work !!
Just so light, comfort and good food. If you are looking for a simple organic veg food with natural air, quite....then this the place you would like.
I saw all recycled things around wherever possible, a wooden rope roller cut into half and used as corner stand. Iron twines, the wash basin is cool, sewing machine stand, cart, tyres and many more....
The team in simple T shirts good to see and comfortable for them to work.
I checked the organic store so many eatables, incense sticks, pickles, podis, Kreeda wooden games.
The team can be little friendly at the storefront instead of just standing around in groups and not interactive.
We chose the open air seating with the climate so good. There is a AC seating also available in mezzanine floor above the organic store.
Ordered the meals. All worth it for 150 rs per meal. So well cooked n tasty on banana leaf . Few items like pickles, appalam /fryums should be part of the meal and should be served without asking for.... Then they gave vathal and gooseberry pickle very tasty . Water was served in brass tumbler .I liked it..
Payasam was so good, mini vadai, kootu, 2 poriyal, vatha kuzhambu, sambar, rasam, millet, buttermilk, curd.
All tasted good.
Really good place to dine out! Authentic south indian, village type food! Good place for all the foodies who wanna try something different! :D
Excellent food, excellent service, excellent ambience- what more do you want. I have been to this place for dinner and lunch and I highly recommend both. The lunch especially was a most unexpected pleasure with the very delectable, sumptuous food complete with vada- payasam, nannari welcome drink, thayir and neer mor apart from a surprisingly tasty bitter gourd side dish , yummy paruppu podi and many, many other additions. Do go to the first floor to get the full 'effect' of the ambience:):) Highly recommend if you are sick of the usual fare at hotels. BTW,we got the regular raw rice meals but you can opt for the millets one too. Oh, and two of us ate the Cook Gramam special meal heartily and our bill was less than 350 bucks. Amazing value for money.
Starting with a special glass of water...... Everything is awesome. I can just recall my grandmother food. I have no words to express. Just awesome.... Please go.... Get Enchanted with our traditional food.

Awesome taste traditional organic food with very good hospitality... each n every dish tasted yummy.. apt for everyone liked by mom n son..
Taste,ambience, staffs amazing 👍👍
This place is for the best organic food experience. Whatever dish you order you can eat it with your heart’s content knowing that it is fully organic and delicious too. You get two in one. I had meals,
it was served traditional and was yummy. I would definitely visit this place again and again !
Great place for organic themed food. Biryani was good. Courteous staff. Having visited in the initial days many items in the menu was over, they said limited cooking is done as it is still new.
Found this place while we where searching nearby restaurants. The restaurant ambience is quite impressive and the location is nearby. Coming to the food, they are actually serving the organic foods and the menus are mouthwatering to see. Improvements needed in the presentation, and the serving techniques which are not that attractive. Then, coming to the taste, it's just simply wow!!, seriously! the food, the ingredients they have added, the organic items they have used, the smell, and finally the taste, everything is just fabulous to me. I enjoyed like eating in my grandmother's house. The main reason for the 4.5 stars is just because of the taste of the food in which they have mastered it and the remaining 0.5 is because they have asked us to wait for more than 1/2 hour and they forgot to inform us even after we waited, since they were about to close the restaurant and had a bad experience there. If anyone interested to taste the native dishes of tamilnadu and wanted to eat organic foods then this place is a good choice to visit.
Lengthy review alert -
Cook Gramam is the recently opened Veg Organic Restaurant in Anna Nagar. I spotted this place when I was going that way. The ambiance attracted me to try. Immediately bookmarked this place and went here, Once for lunch and next day for dinner.
Location -
This place is easy to locate. Big pot structure and sign board is there which is hard to miss.Managed parking in roadside. Maybe difficult sometimes.
Ambiance -
Ambiance is the one which attracted me in first place. The path to the place itself is giving a nice feeling. Have Thiruvalluvar statue and Lord Ganapathi on the way to entry. They have both indoor and outdoor seating.
Indoor seating is available inside the organic store. It is a small AC room with 4-5 tables which can accommodate max 20. Simple and decent interiors. Whereas they have pretty attractive outdoor seating.
Have different style of seating which are named differently as well. Even in hot summer afternoon, the place was not hot. It was pleasant in night when we went for dinner. Lot of efforts put in place on designing. Perfect place for family hangout.
Menu -
Menu is Crisp and decent. For lunch we get meals and few variety rice. For dinner we get dosa varieties, pongal, biriyani etc. Have unique desserts and some traditional healthy snacks as well.
Food -
During first visit we ordered Meals for lunch. We were greeted with Nanari sarbat as welcome drink which is perfect start.
Meals consist of rice, podi, ghee, 2 Poriyal, kootu, thogayal, variety rice, sambar, karakolambhu, rasam, vadai, vathal, payasam, curd and buttermilk.
Podalangai poriyal was good. Very rarely we get this Poriyal in restaurant. Pavakai Poriyal was bittery than expected. They don't do additional process of reducing bittery taste in bitterguard which is actually good for a foodie like me.
Podi is again a surprise. Look itself tell it is not the normal one we get in other restaurants. Taste-wise it is good especially after mixing with ghee.
Tamarind rice made in millet without much oil is again a tasty one. We loved it.
Chilly thogayal is very very spicy. Initially I thought some thogayal and consumed. OMG, can't tolerate it's spiciness. Kootu was good. Sambar is just okay.
Karakolambhu was excellent. Got extra and had again. Initially we thought tomato thogayal or chutney but shock to Know when we were informed it as karakolambhu. Nevertheless it was excellent.
Rasam was also good. Vadai was apt crispy and tasty. Payasam was good with apt sweetness. Buttermilk was also good with tinge of chilli and inji. Overall entire meal itself a great experience.
Though quantity served are less, we can reorder being unlimited meals.
During second visit ordered seeraga samba biriyani, cholam adai aviyal, peanut butter milk and watermelon juice. Biriyani quantity was higher than expected. Taste-wise it was good. Adai though tasted different, but good. Aviyal and jaggery accompanied well.
Peanut butter milk was dominated by peanut taste. Buttermilk is so diluted so not giving perfect blend. Quantity is very less. Watermelon juice is good. Perfect end to our dinner.
Service -
Quick and decent. Can be bit more attentive.
Price -
Pretty reasonable for what we get. Especially when you take organic option, location and quantity into consideration. Value for money 💰. Pricing of watermelon juice and peanut butter milk are on higher side.
Overall -
Satisfying experience. Worth a visit. Can also do shopping of some organic stuff if required. Going to revisit for sure.
Nice organic food. Tasty and not too expensive. Small Seating place inside. Nice theme of making exterior with used scraps.
Will deft recommend to friends.
The restaurant provides organic food with indigenous products like banana stem, banana flower, mango ginger, etc. The food is tasty and prepared fresh. Service was good. The store also provides a wide range of organic grocery and household items on sale. The prices are reasonable and ambience is also quiet.
Went for dinner to this hotel with a variety of healthy dishes , tiffen dishes with rice , red rice and millet also available. Starters were different. A must try hotel if you have not yet visited. Outside dining is also available.
A very good vegetarian restaurant in anna nagar with a great touch of organic and parambariya good varities. The ambiance is so good (a dinner under the moon) and a great service.
Wonderful place for dine-in! Traditional South Indian recipes and a lot of tasty traditional snacks are here! We went as a team and we all loved the place and the ambiance it holds and the service was really good and heartwarming! If you want to eat a neat and healthy traditional food, this surely is the place!
A pleasant place to have a meal from the typical menu you get with the regular restaurant. Dishes are well crafted understanding what the customers will like. You can enjoy the food in the decent garden.
The hotel is one of the best organic vegetarian hotel with traditional foods. They have tried to replace most of the daily foods with healthy substitutes such as rice with millets and a lot like that. It tastes really good I liked sambar, idli platter and pepper dishes. Try pepper dishes such as pepper dosa or pepper paneer. They also have traditional game such as aadu puli aatam in the table so if you are going as a group could spend some time enjoying.
They also have organic store at the ground floor with cosmetics, food, household items and much more.
One of the issue is the serving is a bit delayed and seating is less and especially in weekends need to wait some time
A very uniquely positioned restaurant serving super fresh and healthy food that's just lip smacking delicious. The place's ambience and dishes do total justice to the name and positively take you on a trip to the rural South. Will highly recommend the ghee milagu poondu dosa which I would certainly qualify as the probably the best dosa I've had in my life. And a very special mention to the extra courteous staff running the place. A total 10/10 experience.
Good food and good service. For people with traditional palate.
Outstanding food. That is all that matters. Went there hungry on a Sunday afternoon. Few staff and they are running up and down to cater the constant in coming customers. The place was once very tastefully done. Managing and running a business post covid loss is so challenging. Though the ambience is a compromise, the food compensates all that's missing. With such an unique menu, healthy choice to binge and an excellent chef, you have no reason to hold back. I wish you good luck to bounce back and get into full Josh. Must try, paruppu podi sadham, payasam, aval peratal, Vazhai poo vadai and of course the Biriyani.
All items taste gud and hygiene only in karuveppilai panneer Masala not merged well, thuthuvalai soup and starter vazhapoo varuval taste good. Millet chinna vengaya thok was nice compare to Thakkalli thokku dosa. Special mention cashew appam with coconut milk nice taste must try. Final end with cool drinks like carrot paal, watermelon and lemon ginger taste nice.
Mosquito was the concern. Must try place
A good place to try for sure. A delight for people who wanted to try traditional varities of rice and it's flavour. Food was fresh and taste up to the mark. Price and quality is good. Dine in place is quite small and can have maximum of 10ppl at a time but looks like it's never housefull. It also has a organic supermarket attached.
As the name refers it's the menu are really from villages, i beleive. You will see menus you have not heard before never. Ambience is really great. To understand the menu you need some time. Iner.Nikhil was serving us and he was helpful in deciding the menu and very active . Veg lovers should give a try. Located on 13th main road Anna Nagar.
It’s a lovely place to tryout some traditional recipes. Worth a visit with kids to try some good old healthy millet recipes
After seeing this restaurant in a TV channel we decided to give a try.
It is located conveniently in Anna nagar Chennai. A pure vegetarian restaurant with traditional tamilnadu food as their concept. Also they decor the restaurant with scrapes which gives unique look.
It's purely for Tamil people as most food has the ingredients is of tamilnadu which the new generation doesn't know anything about and the older ones have forgotten.
Other state or non tamil speaking people will enjoy too. Menu in Tamil language. But the waiters have good knowledge on food.
We went for lunch. We had lots of unique foods which won't be available in any standard restaurant.
Special mention to Our waiter/captain Ms. Sharmila. She has great knowledge in her job and very attentive. Knows how to handle people. Awesome girl. Loves what she doing. Also Mr. Mani. Both went way beyond to make us happy. 6 of us.
We all loved her service.
Note to management. Both of them asset to your restaurant. Don't lose them.
From the start to end, everything was fantastic.
We loved each and every dish.
A must try for all who looking for difference in their daily food.
Note: They use home made oils, powders etc. They have a super market with all these ingredients and of all traditional food items. Give a try.
P.S. I'm a hotelier.
Excellent place for vegetarian. Worth for money. Well organized staffs. Very good quality of foods. Making Indian traditional food style. Overall rite place to Visit Oraganic product shopping and village style restaurant.
Best food experience. You will find new aspect of life towards your food intake. Must try millet special meals.... Service was extremely good, no doubt. Ambience could be maintained better at 1st floor... ground floor found to be good 👍
