This is a quiet, quaint place on an otherwise busy street. The service is prompt but they don’t have as many people working here. Come here if you’re nearby and want to sip chai in a quiet, clean restaurant and don’t mind it being slightly pricey.

I had Chai, Masala Toast and Bhujia cheese toast it was amazing. Feels like home.
Must try Mini Khari it is the best combo with Chai. 😋

Very good khakra sandwich. Excellent tea varieties (ginger tea is their speciality). Pleasant atmosphere. Good and quick service. Satisfied with the food.

We ordered two cutting chais and one khakhra sandwich each. Post this visit even I would swear by the food and service.
Being regular now I can tell you the toasts are appeasing to the taste buds as well as the wallet. While the khakhra sandwich is a must try. The ragi cookies are good too..

for chai lovers this place is best ! don't expect any fancy stuffs , limited menu and nice service ,cutting chai is definitely recommended. ambience is okayish, small shop with smiling owner ., they even serve sandwiches .
We went here to pass our time until the movie gets started😝 And aslo to have some cold beverage in this hot summer 😓
The shop is located on the main road itself so you can easily find out even without the GPS 😕 It's a pretty decent small cafe I would say cos there is an air-conditioner😍 and it can only afford 15 people to sit at a time.
So, me and my friend ordered for two sweet lassi.
Lassi was amazing, fresh, mouth watering. I never tasted flavoured lassi before. What I tasted was rose, I hope. And I loved it. It's of medium glass not a big one and it costed for Rs. 50. So, it totally worth it 😆
Service was very quick! They have sandwiches too, so will be tasting it for the next time hopefully.

A very cozy and pretty place for a light snack and hot beverages. We had Masala Tea, Cardamom tea and filter coffee. All were excellent. For snacks we had Masala toast and Kakada Sandwich. Masala toast was ordinary but the Kakada sandwich was quite heavy and tasty. Good place overall!!!

Down with cold and what better but to soothe it with a hot cup of adrak Chai! Ended up at Chai'ce. Humongous variety of tea. With a touch of Ayurveda!! Like Tulsi and Pudina tea. I at least haven't heard of that combo. And Mind you! It's pure vegetarian.. So no omelette stuff but a variety in sandwiches and toast. Decent seating for about 8-10 guys. Good place to have a quick bite with a great cup of tea.
And the best part is that the owner Mr. Arun Jain himself prepares the tea and hands it over. That gives a real personal touch. In fact even our bhujia sandwich and veg cheese grilled toast, he only prepared.
Basically places like these are extremely pocket friendly and you want to visit them everyday. I wish a similar place was opened in Nungambakam. I wud be there probably everyday :D
Tea is bliss here. The varieties are just amazing. It's a teeny spot located in T.Nagar near Ags Cinemas. A must try. The sandwiches are good with a pocket friendly price. I ordered a chilly cheese toast which was too good. The spiciness of the fresh chilli lingers on the tongue even after hours. The bhujia sandwich gives a mix of crispiness and spiciness. A must try.
Such a cozy compact place to witness the best chai❤❤ huge varieties of tea and coffee adding on some real good sandwiches. Courteous staffs one good experience. Would be more good if they could update their menu.

This place is adjacent to Apollo hospital on GN chetty road. Parking is sort of a problem here.
Has just 4 tables and can accommodate 16 people at once. Looks like just another small cafeteria. Ordered a chutney sandwich, Veg grill sandwich, Khakra sandwich, Lassi and Thandai.
The Chutney sandwich is slim, toasted with mint chutney. The veg grilled sandwich is the club sandwich with some veggies,ketchup and mayo. They tasted good. One which was the favorite was Khakra sandwich which had mayo and veggies in between. They were made for each other.
As far as the drinks are concerned, Thandai is a bit different from Lassi as it has more Masala in it.
It's a good place for refreshments at affordable prices.
My most favourite food hangout close to my house. Very famous for their khakra sandwich , I've never been able to recreate that taste at home. Also please note that their khakras are home made.
My other preferences are cheese toast and ginger chai.
But nevertheless, can't beat their khakra sandwich.
This place is good for snacks and chai. I like simplicity of place and quick sandwiches and appetizers. Liked the sandwich and chai as well.
Overall one of the best places to have good chai in Chennai...amazing coffee is available at every corner of the city, bt you will have to Google for hours to find a right spot to have masala chai, ginger chai....snacks served complement well with tea. Must try....

Chennai a land dominated only by coffee connoisseurs what happens to the minority tea lovers? Well thanks to the modern day tea shop Chaice situated right next to Apollo T nagar branch which provides panoply of options.
I have always had my reservations when it comes to ordering tea across south india as the preparation is no where close to what they make in north main flaw being the ratio of milk. Chaice clearly comes out as a winner offering the best of the best chai varieties. Starting with masala (hitting the right note) followed by mint, earl grey,green, ginger and elaichi. What is so charming about this place is the idea of tea shop is preserved and at the same time they cater to the elite crowd. Sandwiches and other short eats complement well with the drink but tastes & looks similar to the home made ones.
What more to expect on rainy evenings than sipping a cup of chai accompanied by assorted cookies and watching then dew drops via the glass door.

Just dropped in here since I was early for my appointment with my Dr. at Apollo clinic. A quaint and compact place. Offers different varieties of chai ( tea) along with some quick bites. Tried cutting chai and ginger chai. Both were really very good and refreshing. The staff also are efficient and helpful. Also had Ragi cookies which were also tasty. Overall I would definitely recommend for tea lovers.
This place has amazing Khakra sandwiches and chilly cheese toast . must try ! Its a small place but they manage it quiet well and their staffs are very courteous and make the dish according to your taste.

Chai ce is an amazing concept eat out. I am a strict non vegetarian but eating snacks and chats and sipping chais, rosemilk, buttermilk etc is an amazing thing. The eatables served are unique and joyful to my south Indian taste buds. Kakra sandwich is a must have. I really like the way Mr. Arun has taken chaice forward with his personal touch in customer delight. Kudos... Looking forward for one more joint near my home or office...

One of the best places to hangout with friends. After work we all meet at this place. its not expensive at all and the variety of teas' and bites you have is excellent. I would definitely give 5 for a place like this.
Good tiny place near Apollo hospital T Nagar . Suggestions : Elachi chai , veg masala toast. 40rs for chai is bit costly. Still worth to have it after a tiresome day .
Another chai shop..but with a spoonful of difference:) Been here only once and I was thoroughly delighted! I tried the cutting chai and it was so delicious ( yes, tea can be delicious!!) that i asked for a second cup!! That accompanied with the butter biscuits and khakhra sandwich: was a really good day :D. Its a tiny place but defly delightful. Ideal for a quick gossip session with colleagues and friends. Very pocket friendly too! Would love to visit the place when I am in the locality next time!

Very nice place for your Tea of varieties. You can have Ginger Tea, Lemon tea, Masala Tea, Tulasi Tea, Pudhina (mint) Tea, Ginger Lemon Teaand not only any of these of your choice, but much more!! I all along went in an Auto to have a Tea with my Family from Pondy Bazar to G N Chetty Road, nearly 1.9 km to get my tongue taste this Shop's Tea. Wah! Chai!!!
The rate is a little high of Rs.40 a Cup which is WORTH paying.
