Cafe central has a very warm and cosy ambience which is perfect to visit with friends and family. The food was lip smacking and is thoroughly recommended. The chicken wings with the spiciest sauce is highly recommended. It's a little bit on the medium-slow rate of service but it is really worth it. Do recommend you to go there and check it out!
New year 2019 was celebrated here❤️I was completely in love with the ambience and the food. We had a great time .Fried Ice cream,Pizza and thattu Idly was my favourite. The price is very reasonable.
A very late review... missing dining out post lock down so badly! so,We went for a late dinner on valentine's day... the place was calm n cosy.And ordered:
1. Ceaser salad with tandoor veggies
2. Fries with sausages
3. Grilled fish with herb and garlic chilli sauce
Tandoori veggies were yummy along with Ceaser salad.
Quantity of French fries were good as well

Cafe central is my go- to cafe when I'm craving burgers. I always have the yang Jang burger, it's juicy and delicious. If you love some spice, the fire eater (peri peri) burger is killer with just the right amount of spice. Everything on their menu is brilliant and the prices are reasonable. All time fav.
Must-Try : chicken wings.Everything that we tried was decent enough and affordable. It's located in a prime area of the city and crowd is good here

You can never go wrong in Maggi and the way they make is just gob smacking delicious.
Bao Basket:They have 4 types of Bao in this. The paneer ones stood out the most. All were really soft and just fits!
Salad:
The seasoning of the salad was spot on. The fritta cheese satisfied my soul xD But could be better though.
Strawberry Milk Shake :The best Strawberry MS i've ever had. I hate Strawberries tbh. So coming from me, that's saying something. MUST try if you like strawberry.
Peach IT:The peach IT is to die for. Such smooth blending of the peach flavor.
Recently I went to have my dinner food was amazing and all of a sudden stranger started performing a stand up comedy show I was listening to his speech he introduced a young boy who was just 16 years old for the next performance , his speech for was so “A “ rated which made so uncomfortable to sit and have our food after a point it was unbearable though we dint complete our food we paid and immediately left the restaurant . Cafe central has got amazing food but guys it’s nice to see you giving chance for youngster but before that have a look at their script of their speech because there is going to be family n kids. If you are arranging for such “A”rated stand up comedy just put a board outside so that we will read n never step in . Such bad experience guys

This is a good place to catch up with old friends and they have good food in decent proportions , nothing out of the ordinary but I loved the fried ice cream here the chicken nachos was amazing as well.
A good spot all together with parking , calm ambience, good staffs .. I loved the way they had small review notes from customers stuck on their walls ..
In short I would recommend this hotel for a fun dinner with friends after you are tired shopping from tnagr :)

I really like the service here, polite and friendly people. The restaurant was full and we were 10 people, though we were asked to wait we were given seats promptly and neatly cleaned. The ambience was calm and pleasant.
I was waiting to try their famous butter chicken burger and finally it was on table. It was quite juicy and had the Desi chicken Makhni kind of flavour. The next think I loved here was the fried caramel ice cream. It was the first time I tried it and was very good, even the kids enjoyed it.
The brownie sizzler was decent, but the kids wanted one more after they finished one and I had to order another one though.
Pizzas had thin crust and the layer of cheese was quite good, tried paneer and chicken barbecue pizzas. The final touch was the kitty kitty milkshake which was suggested by the staff. It was really delicious with waffers and kit Kat topped over a scoop of icecream and whipped cream. The milkshake had a tangy flavour with a touch of caramel.
Overall it was a decent experience dining here.
Cafe central is a cozy place to hangout with your loved ones. Menu is perfect, there's something for everyone. I have ordered 'Smoked BBQ Chicken Bao' and 'Mocha Shake'.
The Bao was very soft and the fillings was too good. Chicken pieces in the fillings was very tender and juicy. The spicy level of the dish was moderate.
The Mocha shake is a rich, creamy, well balanced coffee flavoured shake. If you are a coffee lover then you should definitely try this out.

I've been twice and both times I've loved their DFF (Unbelievably tasty French fries loaded with cheese and barbecue sauce) and the Mac and Cheese.
They are finger-licking dishes.
This time I also tried their Daily Delight cold press shake - which was cooling and refreshing. And provided a much needed relief from the Chennai weather :)
The dessert - Golden fried ice cream was a huge disaster though. The coconut had gone bad (I think?) and left us with a really bad taste. The exterior of the ice cream - which is supposed to be the crunchy bit, had gone soggy like yesterday's appalam.
The evening didn't end in a good tone. Especially as the other dishes were just perfect.

Visited this place on a Saturday evening through the Dineout 50% offer. We got a table on the upper floor near the glass window facing the road. The decor and ambience is simple yet quirky with colourful chairs and post its with cute messages from the customers.
Now coming to the food, we ordered:
*Classic cold coffee
*Cafe Mocha
*Peri peri grilled chicken
*Smoked BBQ chicken Bao
The baos were so soft with the generous filling of lettuce and smokey chicken. The peri peri grilled chicken won our ❤️. Though it was extremely spicy, we enjoyed every bit of it. The chessy mashed potato complimented the chicken very well. It is a must have.
The cold coffee was a little watery but the taste was fine.
Overall a good experience, will visit again if happen to be in the area.

Cafe central is a neatly done place, with a quirky ambience, located in a very busy road in T nagar. They do have valet parking. We chose a place in the first floor overlooking the road. Their menu has a wide variety of options to choose to from. Our order was as follows -
* Baked Nachos - the nachos was served with a mexican salsa and cheese sauce on top and baked.
* Paneer tikka bao - easily the best dish of the day! Such soft buns filled with a juicy paneer filling.
* Central Special Pasta - creamy pink pasta with a lot of vegetables.
* Jalapeno Garlic bread - this was the only let down because it was more like a cheese toast rather than a garlic bread. It tasted yum nevertheless.
Overall, a great place with good food. Would love to visit again to try their other food.
We went here on a weekend, amazing location with a nice ambience, you wouldn't feel the scorching hot sun inside. So we had Sizzler's, Mac and cheese and brownie bliss.

This is a place you can walk in at any time of the day if you are really hungry. Today was my good day to relax and have a heart filled dinner at this place.
1) Chicken baked Nachos - Nachos with chicken, beans, salsa , cheese and sour cream. It was too delicious. My top rating for this.
2) Peri peri grilled chicken - if you are a chicken lover and love spicy food please try this. It was soft chicken breast cooked in peri peri sauce to perfection. Accompanied with buttery creamy mashed potato. Very spicy and tasty.
3) Paneer tikka pizza - if you are a thin crust pizza fan, try pizzas here. They were juicy and tasty with a crispy touch.
4) Classic Cold Coffee - a very good cold coffee done right.
5) The Big 'O' - This one is a monstrous shake. A very thick shake made of Oreo and ice cream with a whipped cream top up. Was very tasty but very very heavy to finish it. Goes by its name.
Ambience might look small but the interiors are creative and they have used optimum space.

Cafe central, as the name suggests, this cafe is located at the Center of Chennai city, at the most coveted T.Nagar.
This place seems to have a different vibe to it altogether, the place is small and cozy and they have 2 floors, the lower one for small seatings and the upper floor for large groups, their decorations are on point and the food was even better!
Their chicken wings and their super cheesy chicken Tikka pizza need a mention. Apart from that, all the food was reallyyyy really good, and would definitely recommend this place!

A recent favourite that has the right amount of quirkiness with respect to both the decor and menu. The portion size of the Veg Biryani can easily serve two people. I have made 3 trips so far. Between first and second trips. I observed lack of consistency in taste. 3d time several menu items that we like kal dosa and idli was not available. We had taken our parents who like those and the kids who like pizza and sizzler etc. Menu was perfect but 3d time was disappointed we went as a party of 12 even many desserts were not available...
Visited this place to eat light and tasty continental food however ended up falling for their parotta. We just noticed that was being served with juicy kurma. Eventually is tasted very nice. All other food were good especially starters.

I have been waiting to visit this place ever since I saw the review of one of friend in her Instagram page. Finally I made it to Cafe Central that is situated at the center of the busiest place in town, Tnagar.
I have been very excited and I went along with my friend after a week long planning. We ordered their famous BBQ wings with sweet chilli sauce, Foreign Return breakfast which is part of their All day breakfast, their very famous Central’s MEAN Sizzler, Golden Fried Icecream and Snow Lemonade.
Started with BBQ wings, this was amazing and one of the finger licking dish I have tasted. Though it was not the best I have tasted but it is definitely a must try in this place.
Foreign Return Breakfast- This had Bread Toast, Sausages, Bakes Beans, Grilled Tomato’s, Scrambled Eggs, Hash Brown and Tea. Bread was toasted well and the egg was cooked well... I loved it as the whole and is worth a try.
Coming to the main dish I have been waiting to try - The Central’s MEAN sizzler - This had cooked veggies, Grilled fish and the fried and flavoured rice. The rice the strong taste of the herbs which dint go much well with me and the grilled fish with the peri peri sauce tasted a little salty but was manageable. Overall dint stood up to my expectation.
The snowy lemonade and golden Fried Icecream are the best dessert to end with.
I would like to appreciate the overall service that was provided. The service was good and the ambience was very appealing.

A very pleasant and cozy ambience with an upbeat Playlist of English Pop in the background.
It's also a very aesthetic place and contains a Photobooth and a wall filled with Post-its for comments and all!
Coming to the food, for starts we ordered Chicken Nachos and Chili Paneer.
The Chicken Nachos had top notch presentation and tasted delicious!
The Paneer however had a nice crispy outer but was bland on the inside.
For Main Course, we got a Margherita Pizza and a Yang Jang Chicken Burger. The Pizza was like any other Marghertia but the burger was simply sumptuous.
A tad spicy but the chicken pieces were cooked to perfection and was one of the best Burgers I've had in a while.
For dessert, we ordered a Brownie Bliss Monster Shake and that tasted amazing as well!
Crazy good presentation, monster quantity (high price tag as well).
A great place all in all. Definitely recommend this place although the price tag is a tad high even with Zomato Gold.

We asked for spicy pasta and they suggested 'Give me red' although it was tasty, it was EXTREMELY spicy. They have good options and varieties to choose from. There's good space for parking also. Overall a great place for food and a good time with your friends or family.

I happened to visit cafe central sometime in March 2018. I went with my family after some heavy duty shopping in T Nagar and stopped by at this cute little cafe!
They’ve a good variety in their menu and everything tastes delicious. I’ve inserted the names under the pictures! The fried ice cream stole the show and it’s the first time I’m trying it out! This place doesn’t burn a hole in your pocket yet gives you delicious food! So it’s a win win!
We went there on a quiet Saturday evening. The place was quite spacious and not very crowded. The interiors felt simple and nice in first impression. There was outdoor seating as well as another floor of seating available. The waiters were very polite.
We ordered the following dishes:
1) Biryani Balls
2) Shroomiza Pizza
3) Sizzling Brownie with Ice Cream
The Biryani Balls were served very nicely with a really great presentation. The white sauce served with them was the icing on the cake. The balls were a perfect combination of spicy and cheesy. These were the best out of the three
Pizza was served on a thin crust. The mushrooms blended very nicely with crust but there was very little bell peper. The pizza was decent.
The brownie with ice cream had very little chocolate sauce. They were garnished with sugar balls which for me was a little too sweet.
Over all it was a good experience. The prices were reasonable.

Beautiful ambience. Great location to find out. A great place for hanging out with friends. Decorations are really cool. Stuffs are great. Food tastes really great. The question is then why not 5 star? Well the main reason is the quantity. We order a non veg platter. But there are more than one restaurant in Chennai where one can get more items in similar price and similar taste. Overall this a good place and definitely recommended.

This is a review of a place we have been addicted to in recent times. The restaurant, Café Central located in T.Nagar has enamored us in more than one way. The big plus is the restaurant has given us an option to dine in a hangout trending place as a family with varied tastes. Just a bit of elaboration here, a trendy college going girl with latest taste, a typical south Indian palate and a moderation of both is our family taste. It is certainly a tough call satisfying all of us under one roof and saying that this place has become a favorite place is no exaggeration. Now to the food we had, we already have been there twice, but we just managed to try out just a wee bit of the menu.

Contemporary looking place. I like their theme and interiors. Pricing is nominal. Decent service. I have had better luck with their continental and fusion menu selections. Not a big fan of their Indian menu items. Music is blaring at times. Overall, a fine place to hang out with friends or even eat alone.
The thin crust pizzas of this place were quite tasty and loved ginger and garlic chicken which is my all time favourite ❤️

Food is good and interiors are very chic. Prices are not too heavy on the pockets and quantity served is reasonable.
I tried vegetarian food here, both American and Indian were tasty. You will like the kappi if you prefer your coffee strong.
An upmarket place with a lot of youngsters queuing in. The ambience of the place is a must experience type. The service is friendly and the food top notch. Though a tad on the expensive side this place doesn’t make you feel like you spent a fortune on a milkshake or any food item . A perfect friends hangout place without alcohol would be the right description for the place.
Great food, great ambience, and a wonderful service staff. Quantity served is very good, and the good is very tasty. Tandoori Platter and DFF is a must have for vegetarians. Milkshakes and other beverages were also very pleasing (personal recommendation: strawberry shake). Pricing is slightly on the costlier side, but gets a lot better with Zomato Gold.
I have been here twice and I fell in love with this place and its food the very first time. The Ambiance was good enough to have a relaxed meal.Namma Fries. It's a version of fries seasoned with podi and ghee. Fries had a spicy drooling appearance with a bright orange color of podi which was my favorite.
The cafe is pretty big, spread over two floors. The ground floor is quite simple and concise with its decor with minimal seating while the first floor has quirky, fun and interesting rustic decor all around.
The food menu is worth a visit pretty much any time of the day.

Located at one of the busiest hubs of Chennai, the cafe is famous for it's butter chicken burger (highly recommended for butter chicken lovers) - but be careful, it comes with a knife through it's heart (Lol). They have a wide variety available - pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, fries - basically any snack you would want to grab with a friend. The prices are fairly reasonable. Don't forget to leave your feedback on a sticky note.
The customer service is top notch! We ordered Smoked Barbeque wings(dozen), Fish N Chips, Chicken Tikka Pizza, the DFF fries, the Coffee Coffee Coffee drink, Chocolate pancakes and the brownie with ice cream! The BBQ wings portion is quite less, and they let you choose 3 different sauces if you choose to order the dozen wings combo. Dishes I liked: Pizza was very tasty, the Fish n Chips was perfectly crumb fried and the brownie was a total VFM!

Fire eater - Crazy burger with hot saucy chicken patty layered around lettuce and garnish; one of their best since it was bursting with flavors on all levels, MUST TRY
Crumb fried paneer - WOW, never have I ever expected Paneer to have been cooked to perfection; it had the right concoction of crispiness, saturated essence, softness on the inside
Hawaiian pizza - Well, there is my all time favorite pizza; though most people detest pineapple on, I'm a total sucker for this; mild spiced, Italian thin crust with perfect seasoning, TOO GOOD
Paneer Mania burger - Compared to the standards set by the previous dishes, this one was below par; Not that spicy but good on the whole, there wasn't any distinct flavors since the Fire eater stole the limelight

Melon breezer - Very mild sweet fresh drink with nothing to complain; was expecting a kicky flavor but was mediocre
Cappuccino - Perfect drink with the right amount of sugar and caffeine; kudos to the froth, but why so much froth
Classic cold coffee - Conventional coffee served straight from the fridge; good to end up with
Ambience/Price:
One of the good cafe spots to hang around within the city. They have minimal parking spot but off-street parking shouldn't be a problem anytime. Though they have got decent seating space, their ambience is plain and quaint. Service was quick and courteous. Finally to talk about their prices, they are okayish and not like any regular cafe, comfy spot for people of all kind.
Best place for friends meet up and get together. It was a surprise as this place is always crowded. It's free when visited in weekdays. Food was too goood. Ambience was actually very much pleasing. Would love to visit again.

The place is well maintained... An entertaining joint to go with friends... There is limited items available on the menu but the taste was really good and the shop isn't too noisy and it's on the main road... Over all good experience

Even though it is one of the busiest areas of Chennai, the cafe atmosphere is very relaxing.
For starters, we ordered Caesar salad, it was ok in quantity but the sauce was lil less but was quite okay...☺️
Secondly we have ordered pest pizza which was more than enough for two, the cheese and chicken we're good in quantity. 😋
For dessert we had Nutella waffles .it is the *best* cos they gave Nutella and chocolate syrup which can be added to our wish . Since I am a chocolate lover, I found the quantities quite good for me.😋😋😋 Try out their waffles, it's yummilisious..,🤤🤤
I choose this place for its lovely ambience. The feedback letters on the pillars and thier illuminating lights caught my eye!
The menu was a printed sheet like our public exam question paper. My friend told us to to check the menu and surprisingly we saw few of other Indian dishes name printed in between the fancy dishes. We ordered Jalapeno Garlic bread, Namma fries and Southern Chicken fries. The way they presented the dishes were good and also fries and chicken were well cooked. Chicken was a bit spicy yet yummy. The only drawback was the loud music, other than that all was perfect. A good place to chat and munch tasty dishes. The bill was given in a geometry box reminding me of my maths calculations.
It's a beautiful place to spend some quality time with your loved ones. Good ambience, perfect location and yummy food. Many places have a similar menu but this place nails it. Definitely a recommendation to visit and definitely try "The Mean Sizzler"
The BBQ fish with peri peri sauce was delicious along with their exotic shake. The burger was juicy and succulent. However the I felt it was a bit overpriced. Anyways enjoyed the night out with friends in the amazing ambience provided and the place.
Good place to hangout and have some bite. The location is good, service is kinda slow. The dishes is good. The pasta was dry but on request they got it done.
