Great cake and fast delivery. They offer same day delivery for a few cakes. We ordered 2 kg butterscotch cake in the morning and it was good and ready for us in the evening. Cake was amazing and all of the party guests couldn't stop raving about it.
This is one of the oldest joints in the city. I've been going here since i was in school, and apart from the ambience, nothing much has changed. Even though its located on a busy main road, the moment you enter, all the noise is cut off and you are in a small, cozy little bakery.
What i have always loved about this chain of bakeries is that you have an open kitchen and you can see the yummy cakes being made. Also, the smell of freshly baked bread is oh so inviting. Coming to the food, very affordable and tasty.
The bread in the dishes is very soft and tastes really good. The cakes are delicious and well balanced.
I'll keep coming back :)
After a long walk on the busy streets of Chennai, ended up to this place. What attracted me the most? The name. Ā
Ambience was neat, perfect for Ā a bakery/cafe.
We ordered Walnut Choco Brownie and cappuccino. They served exactly what I was looking after a busy day. Ā Overall a refreshing expirience.
This is one of the first joints of hb and has been doing well for many years ... The ambience is good and the wide variety is available . Parking is challenging and some items are old - may not be everyday
My favourite place for cakes!!! I don't remember the name of the cake that I first ordered for my uncles' birthday, chocolate rambo cake I guess, I was totally astound with the flavour of dark and white chocolate and it was the most beautiful cake that I've seen. It cost 700 bucks.
Ambience was regular. Service was quick.
We ordered chutney sandwich, a margharita, a choco donut and a chocolate milkshake. The margharita was very impressive. It was loaded with cheese and was very different from every other margharita I have had in my life even though it was tiny.
The donut had melted chocolate oozing from the too to the sides. Mouth watering.
Pricing is economical.
A decent pastry shop which has been in the locality for ages and still provides good quality food. š I have bought 1kg each of black forest and choco truffle from here. The cakes were fresh and tasted really deliciousš. They do customized cakes also and its pretty decent. The staff and their service is good. As the shop is on the main road, there is no parking. Happy with their cakes and service. Value for money.
Some of the best cakes can be availed from this place. They have special delicacies during Christmas & New Year. Had a chance to be with my other friends Sathya Narayanan Satheesh K Chinnappan to taste the food & I must say, they were really good.
Great ambiance & located close to Stella Maris, this is a place one can hang out with friends which offers you a great view to the main road.

The 1st time that I visited this place was an unplanned visit with a few of my friends wherein we needed a 1kg cake immediately. They had a good display of diverse flavours and we ended up going for the pineapple flavoured one.
Well, I must say that the signature taste of hot breads was inbred in it and each one of us totally enjoyed it though this was the 1st time that we had tried the Gopalapuram branch of hot breads.
Recently I walked in here as a starving hungry zombie for a late breakfast around almost noon. I quickly chose the gourmet chicken sandwich along with a chicken hotdog, accompanied by a cup of coffee.
The sandwich was perfectly and evenly toasted. It was crisp on the outside and soft and juicy on the inside which made it a perfect combo.
The hot dog and coffee were palatable and overall I totally enjoyed my meal experience here.
The pastries seem to look enticing on display but then I was too stuffed with enough good food to take in anymore this time. Will surely visit this outlet again to try them out.
The ambience is decent and as far as the food is considered, it's not that expensive. Quite pocket friendly for such good food.
The staff and service were also both really good and appreciable.
Ordered two cakes - choco truffle n whiteforest (egg less) from dis outlet by 8 in night n they had it ready by 10pm.
Both tasted divine irrespective of the less time taken to prepare it.

This outlet of Hot Breads is supposedly the biggest one in Chennai. Itās a two-floored building hosting Hot breads and Don Pepe together. Both are managed by the same management so they are treated as one. Dedicatedly, ground floor is for hot breads while the first is for the expert in mexican cuisine, Don Pepe. The whole place, right now, is done up with pretty christmasy stuffs. The meet was organised in the first floor.

The patty always has the right level of crispiness and flavour. The buns are fresh and soft. Great option for a quick bite!
Limited parking space. Cake and bakery items are good . Chef is not helpful , cake icing and design can be improved. Prices are normal. Service is fine.
My most favourite cake spot ! Anyone's bday , do visit this place to make the bday even better . They have amazing and delicious cakes ! I love Irish coffee flavour . If anyone is need of the fondant cake ! Do inform them a week prior . They also have air conditioner seater indoor . They have all types of breads like multi grain , wheat etc.
If you need a quick bite and not too fussy about the authenticity of the food this is a good place to be in. Had a chicken hot dog, chicken burger and iced tea. Pretty decent to taste and quick preparation. Medium portions so a person will need two dishes to fill up. Cost wise pretty well priced. Have to say after decades of existence hot breads still lives up. Good going to the place that brought burgers to chennai in the 90's. :)

It is one of Chennaiās own chains. Simple, unpretentious and yummy food is all it has. I have been frequenting this joint for a while now. Be it for a quick snack or a relaxed meal, it is perfect. It has a simple utilitarian bakery like ambience and basic service.
My family and I have been visiting this Hot Breads outlet for ages. Be it for Birthday cakes or Anniversary cakes or even to pack food for travelling.Ā
Apart from their Pineapple pastery, Almond tarts and Banana walnut bread; their Veggie wich sandwiches and french fries are extremely tasty.Ā
Service is always good and the prices decent :)
One of the best places to have Puffs, buns and cakes.. they serve the puffs, veg buns fresh and hot ... Cakes are so creamy and good..

The only shop to accept order 2 days before new year. We ordered a custom cake which was executed well and tasted good as well. Their chocolate truffle flavour was super good. Irish coffee was a bit dry, hence the 4 star rating. Great customer service, good chef. Thank you.
