I went to their Kilpauk branch. The staff is really very courteous. There is something about these north east chaps that they are always so courteous that they make your experience better. This is my personal experience & I mean no offence to anyone. Just want to appreciate.
Now coming to the point Custard Apple cream is the best. I have never had anything like this before. Beware of the extra calories ppl. Their faloodas are good nothing special but yet sufficient to satisfy your falooda craving
Love for their masala fries and fruit cream. To die for flavoured faloodas.. A great place to hang out and enjoy snacking with great taste.

They have the best fresh fruit cream. Its a must try. I order fruit cream everytime I go here. Grill sandwhich and pizza are also good. The service was a little slow even though we were the only one seated. Might face a little parking issue

located at the corner of Balfour road beneath Buhari and beside slam gym, It's a surprising good place for some finger foods. Fries, burgers , sandwiches and faloodas. They have a variety of sandwiches. Mostly order in home delivery. Sandwich and burgers taste good with right flavours.
The best for me n my family though are their faloodas especially the rose falooda. Its one of the best in the area and a must try.

This outlet used to be known as Haji Ali and they changed their name into Bombaystan sometime back in 2015. But their quality of Faloodas and Fruit Creams have not been changed as I have been a regular of this particular outlet for many years now.
Like I said, I absolutely love their cream varieties and Faloodas. My recent love is their cold coffee with ice cream. Their sandwiches are also really good as they incorporate Indian flavours in the means of spicy chutneys into them.
On the whole it's a pocket friendly outlet to have good snacks and desserts!

I have been to this place a couple of times. I would say that they serve the best faloodas in the city. We have a wide variety of faloodas to pick from. Its always an absolute delight to visit this outlet. The only drawback is that, may be for me, I find the pizzas too cheesy. My favorites are Fruit falooda , Mango falooda and Dry Fruit falooda. If you'r a cashew lover then definitely go for Dry fruit Falooda and please don't be surprised to find 50gms of cashew in it!
So this was a longtime in planning, Went to this place with a couple of foodies and did not regret its also decently priced one should say.
My pick was the veg cheese pizza...But had a bad experience with the sweet lime juice felt it was too watery which was notified and did not make a big difference after 5 minutes at the kitchen
That was probably the one let down in a great experience...

This one is a long pending review but as the saying goes 'Better late than Never'. So here goes my review for Bombaysthan.
AMBIENCE:
This is kind of a quick dine - in restaurant that can accommodate 20-25 people. The maintenance is ordinary but is quite neat and tidy. Interiors are theme based with a mix of white and green quirky furniture. Their walls are surfaced with wallpapers that will lift your mood.
SERVICE:
The service is average. The wait staff take a little more than 10 minutes to come to the table and note the order since most of the wait staff were talking among themselves and were inattentive to our table. However once the order was placed, the time taken for the dish to reach the table from the kitchen was pretty fast.
FOOD:
We had ordered the MOZARELLA VEG. CHEESE ROLL, which had a generous filling of cheese and vegetables. We were expecting the roll to be some kind of kathi roll or wrap honestly and not just mozarella and veggies loaded in a bun. Nevertheless, it tasted decent. Not extraordinary and hence can be given a miss.
Next comes the DOUBLE CHEESE PIZZA and MOZARELLA VEG. CHEESE PIZZA, both which tasted great. What I loved about the pizzas was that it had a crisp base baked to perfection and the combination of the sauce, vegetables and cheese was just right. It was quite homelike and modest.
My favourite item off their menu from that dish was MUSHROOM VEG. CHEESE GRILL among the savoury dishes. The sandwich was grilled well and the mushroom portion among the vegetables was minimal and that is how I like it, since too much of mushroom tastes meaty for my palate in big quantities. If you are a mushroom fan, do try this out since it is balanced really well.
For desserts we tried the ROSE FALOODA, KESAR FALOODA and MIXED FRUIT ICE CREAM. Kesar falooda was a star among the desserts. It was thick and creamy and the Kesar flavour stands out as soon as you take the first spoonful. The mixed fruit ice cream was rich and yummy with a good amount of fruits tosses in there.
OVERALL:
Definitely a go - to place if you want to grab a quick bite at a reasonable price. Their falooda are definitely worth the hype and the price. I would definitely go back to try other items off their menu.

Went here for a late night dessert and ended up there again next day for an afternoon cooler! Couldn't fault anything here. Service, valet, behavior.... Very good. The food... We got the Chiku fruit cream and a Litchi one.... Both were soo tasty and of very high quality. The next day got a Roll combo of (capsicum, mushroom and mozzarella roll, a kesar faluda and French fries).... Gotta say.... It's great value and tastes amazing.
Could have given it a 5, but let's down on ambience (very kiddish and low maintenance for them... But less appealing). The price of every item on its own in the menu could go down by at least 10% to 15%.... (combo still great value)

Recently was in the locality for a meet with friends when me another friend of mine reached early and wanted to spend some time and also my friend wanted to have some quick bite and hence ended up in bombaystan which is located right at the intersection of ormes road and harley's road...the outlet has parking only for bikes...
The outlet is located in the basement of the complex reached thro a narrow set of stairs...the dining area is compact with a seating capacity of not more than 25 odd ppl..the outlet seemed to be decently maintained except that i found the walls to be stained at places...The A/C was perfect and no problems there...
The Service was really friendly and the server was quick to attend us and he served with a smile...the waiting time too was on the lesser side..food was well cooked and presented too..
I tried mozzarella mushroom grill and a banana milk shake...the mozzarella mushroom grill was served piping hot and the view of those stands of cheese due to mozzarella was too enticing..the filling was generous and the grill was just perfect...The banana milkshake too was good with an awesome consistency...perfectly sweetened and chilled...
Total came to 210 rs for the 2 items and it was definitely worth it...

To have quick snack it's no doubt a good place.The unfortunate thing happened with me was they served me with a pizza which was already made n was not hot at all.i was totally disappointed.but other stuff tastes good,and as it's there speciality try falooda there.
This place is amazing. They have a lot of variety to offer and the quantity and the quality is really good. The price is bit on the higher side but you wont regret paying as they give you quality.
Had ordered ice cream with jelly and it was such a treat. A must visit place.

Rose falooda - i have heard that bombaysthan is famous for their faloodas.. and it is worth all the hype!
Schezwan veg cheese grilled sandwich - Delicious and they gave generous portion ๐โบ the cheese.,veggies,the bread were all too good.. loved every bite of it
Masala fries - it was in the perfect texture... crisp on the outside.soft inside and here too the quantity was worth the money
Veg cheese burger- On seeing grilled.bun inside the box i was quite confused.. the taste was good,nevertheless. But personally I would prefer regular burger buns..!
Cold coffee with icream Milkshake - spot on.! Not overly sweet and the ice cream was still intact when i got it home delivered.

Went in as the last costumer at 11:45pm, and even at this time of night they still produced food that tasted really nice. Sure, when you're starving many things taste nice. But they honesty made good food.
Have only ordered take away from here and have never been disappointed so far. They have some really yumm fruit cream especially the mango cream and the chiccoo cream! A must try for all those with a sweet tooth!

Home delivered roll, fries and sandwich. It was nicely packed and hot. Enjoyed it. It was delivered 15mins late then the promised time. Overall experience was good.
I never knew such a place existed for a sumptuous quantity of ice-cream with a BiG portion of real fruit at a nominal price. My all time favourites are icecream with lychee and cream with fruits. Sandwich on the other hand is to the perfection on taste, presentation and quantity. And at last - the quantity of French fries they give a so full that no one want to miss.

A world of heavenly desserts - Faloodas, milkshakes, fruitcreams and what not to beat this hot climate! As we had dinner out in a diff place , we already decided to visit this place to end up our meal with dessert !! So didn't try their sandwiches , rolls or pizzas!!

Small and comfortable place for a quick bite. The service was good. Small yet interesting menu on cards. The pizzas and rolls were not bad but still could have been better. The best-est thing is their deserts! From ordinary fresh juices to unique flavoured milkshakes, desserts are simply delectable. And also they are so filling that you are left gaping at the quantity of juices and milkshakes they provide! ;) Parking might be a concern at times. Might look a bit over-priced but definitely worth the money!

But the service today for the first time I felt was slow because there was some miscommunication between the waiter and us he got us veg cheese grill instead of the pizza. Also, we had ordered a chilly cheese roll I thought it would be served as a Frankie but it was served as a sub. Else a hands down 4 for them always.

Been here twice. First time the pizza's and sandwiches were quite good. Second time , pizza was burnt and not very tasty. The masala fries were not up to the mark as well. Was quite disappointed the second time. Their creams always stand out. Absolutely in love with their litchi cream.

Been to this place once had custard apple cream which was definitely worth trying again.Major problem at this place is parking.definitely worth trying.
Absolute love for their fruit creams! Everything else is mediocre. Their sandwiches and pizzas are very much edible. Not a huge fan of the faloodas or thei milkshakes. I don't think it's very VFM when you take the food quantity and quality into consideration.

It was noon time so the restaurant just opened up, it was decent enough for a snack joint.

Service was definitely fast it took just 15/mins for the order to hit our table.
Food:
We ordered a water melon juice, dry fruits falooda and a mushroom grill sandwich. Falooda was just awesome best part was that I could eat all the driver fruits in just one scoop... Wow. Excellent food 10/10.

Bombaysthan is very close to my place and been there a lot of times. It's slightly over priced. But the quality and taste is fantastic. My favourite is Strawberry Cream. It was an amazing blend of cream with strawberry. Really fresh strawberry. I then tried dry fruits with cream. Boy that was heavy though it looked small.
Fresh fruit juices are also good and worth the money.
The service is fine. The sandwiches are okay. Nothing special about them.

This place is best for Fruity cream's and falooda a. It's was renamed as Hajiali.! They got 3 branches in chennai. This place is actually on the besement, below the cream and fudge.!

Nice cool ambience and the overall place is pretty sleek! And service was quick aswell! We ordered, an Oreo milkshake, double scoop butterscotch ice cream, some kiwi ice cream and chocolates shakes :)
They were bought it pretty fast! Lots of variety in terms of ice creams and shakes! Have not tried the toasts or pizza's here yet, though! :)
