Very nice ambience with a good set of options. Hyegine was on point.well priced
My waiter Mr inba kumar was very sweet and accommodative of our choices. Overall great place if you're looking to go offbeat and have a nice traditional chettinadu meal. Quality of ingredients were also good. If I had to give a feedback, maybe they could include a few exclusive chettinadu starters on the veg meal aswell . Overall great experience 🙂

So yesterday morning, I woke up craving for some really soul satisfying Chettinad food. A few hours into an otherwise bleak, I was invited to Parambriym, Anna Nagar. The universe works in truly mysterious ways, doesn’t it? .
.
.
Having visited the restaurant a while ago from college, I knew I was in for a treat. The restaurant had a different avatar, warm and welcoming staff and bright pops of teal against the signature yellow walls.
.
.
After we were seated, the chef told us his must try/speciality dishes and all the dishes were quite interesting. First came a deep, grey bowl with diced tomatoes and garlic tempered in garlic around a compound butter “lamp”. The soup was a rasam which was poured in front of us. The compound butter melting in a sea of hot broth, ah it really woke me up. I usually don’t have soup, but this dinner entailed two soups! The next soup was their “Naadan mutton karuveppilai soup” with a few pieces of mutton and a egg white omelette circling the meat. The peppery broth was the winner.
.
.
Then came the first starter, which was their “Neitha Kori” a Mangalorean favourite which was supposedly their signature dish. I’ve heard a lot about this dish and I was looking forward to it. But I suppose it was a bad day in the kitchen, the dish lacked salt nor did the marinade penetrate the meat. It was quite disappointing.
.
.
Next was “Chinna vengaya mutton chukka”, which is something I’m always reminded of when I think of Chettinad cuisine. Small chunks of mutton with their spice mix and shallots. The chilli paste on the cripsy fried idiyappam added a really nice twist.
.
.
Kola urundai was another favourite of mine (for somebody who doesn’t mutton, I enjoyed most of their mutton dishes). Super smooth and nicely flavoured, it had beetroot mayonnaise at the base and a dollop of mustard aioli with a crispy curry leaf.
.
.
No, I’m not done. Next came the “Eral karuveppillai porichathu” which had a bit too crisp exterior of curry leaves and gun powder. I quite liked it.
.
.
For mains, we got parottas and appams with “Era milagu elumicha curry”, “Varutha melaga eraichi masala” and “Elam kozhi varutha curry”. The prawn curry with the lime and shallots was brilliant. So delicate and creamy with a generous helping of prawn. I loved how shallots were a common element in a lot of their dishes. The other two weren’t bad but not memorable either.
.
.
To finish off this meal, we got “Elaneer payasam”. Oh my Lord, what a stunner. Thick, creamy and oh so sweet. Loved it! I shamelessly took the bowl and downed it. No manners necessary when something tastes that good!
.
.
After a food coma inducing meal, I made it to a random malayalam movie an hour late, which wasn’t the best decision.

This is my first visit after the whole menu has been launched at this place. The ambience has been notched up and everything looks picture perfect. Coming to the dishes, to start with the soup, the tomato rasam is a must try, and the theatre to the dish would elevate the experience to a much higher level. It was spicy and hence was my favourite. The starters were great, however my favourite was the neitha kozhi and pothivecha mutton kola. The meals for 275 is a steal. All the items tasted good, however the mutton chukka was my absolute favourite.

Appam and lemon prawn curry was my favourite. The prawn curry was by far the best I have had. Do try this!

The panchamirtham ice-cream was so so good. Have never tasted something this good. Another must try!

Overall this time experience was amazing. Definitely going back here ❤️

Parmbriym has recently renewed their menu. The new menu is really mouth watering.... for me top of the menu was eral karuvepilai fry. Mutton soup was spicy, which was the only disappointment. We ordered thenga kadala vadai which was a veg starter and was good. Mutton nalli was exceptional.... couldnt stop eating just one plate. Other orders were the usual menu- mixed fried rice, nonveg meals, paneer butter masala and naan, chicken drumstick. For dessert we ordered gothuma halwa and elaneer payasam, both of them were ok and not exceptional. The staffs were very courteous and Mr.Mahesh was sweet enough to discuss the restaurant’s new menu and the food updates. Payed INR 1600 totally.

So this week I decided to visit the Parambriyam Restaurant in Anna Nagar, which is revered for it's South Indian cuisine. They serve non-veg as well, for all the meat lovers, and their seafood cuisine is something I've wanted to get my hands on for a long time.

So starting with ambience, I must say everything about this place will remind you again and again that you're going in for a very pure South Indian experience. Everything, from the warm yellow lighting, to the absolutely beautiful oil paintings, which is kind of reminiscent of the works of Raja Ravi Varma as it came off to me, looks pleasing, to say the least.

So we tucked in, and let the chef take the stage. Here, I'll talk about that show-stealer dish that grabbed my heart. The Aapam and Chicken combo, served with an absolutely heavenly coriander chutney, was out-of-this-world. The Chicken had the right amount of spices, perfectly cooked, tender, and the appam was perfectly cooked, soft at the centre, crispy at the sides.

The next starter, was a prawns dish, with a very original seafood taste, and the curry leaves marination adds to that unique and raw taste. The chutney served along with it was good as well, really complimenting that seafood taste. If you're not a seafood fan, you should probably skip this one.

Moving on, the hotel served us Thengai-Kadala vada, with a very honest blend of coconuts and groundnuts. I usually like my Dal Vadais crispy, but it doesn't go without saying, this isn't your usual Vadai. Again, the chef yet again shows us he's good with his Chutneys. Beautiful, beautiful pumpkin chutney served alongside, really brings the flavor out.

The starters wrapped with a dish of Masala Paniyarams. Nothing exceptional, just your traditional Tamil paniyaram with a tinge of spice.

Then, we moved on to their appetizers, Chicken and Mutton soup. The very first thing I noticed was how the presentation of the soup, was very different from the ones I've had before. The Chicken Soup had a Green Chutney broth with pieces of kebab served with it any the side. Delicious. The mutton soup had a very authentic peppery touch to it, with chunky pieces of mutton, I loved it.

Moving to the main course, Parambriyam served us a very South Indian, Chettinad Thali Meals. A wonderful combination of Chicken, Mutton, and Fish Currys, with everything else you'd find in a South Indian thaali. Sambhar, Koottu Curry, Rasam, Curd, Appalam.

The Thaali meal featured one very beautiful dish, and that is the Mutton Chukka. This dish makes a strong point in letting you know, that it has pepper. And in a very beautiful way. I walked in with a bit of a cold, but I must say. It helped. The marination on this dish was incredible, and the pieces used are soft, succulent, with bones, exactly how a mutton dish is meant to be.

The Fish Curry again, was good. Very soft, perfectly cooked Sankara Meen, in a not too spicy gravy. Chicken curry, typical Chettinad. They also served a seperate dish of Elam Koli Varatha Curry. Tender, succulent meat, with a thicker gravy. Goes well along with the Aapam. I had a Malayali friend tagging along with me, and he states that it's 'exactly the way my mom makes it'. So I guess that's enough said. The Aapam again, goes well with the Mutton Chukka as well.

We wrapped up with deserts and drinks. The Jamun came off as a little too hard for me. It was pretty disappointing being a Jamun lover. But the chef did sure make up for it with a beautiful sweet called the Asokam. A must try, I would say. In one word? Heavenly. And yet again, Goli Soda makes an appearance. Refreshing, sweet, indeed leaves a smile on my face.

In short, Parambriyam is a must-go place for the South-Indian cuisine fans in you. Good service, excellent ambience, and wonderful food with authentic flavors. You'll have a lot to explore in the Seafoods section.

Having a bad experience in this place twice, I urged myself to try their newly launched menu after hearing great response from my fellow buddies. To my surprise they had come back so well with their fusion food menu right now.

Served with onion pakoda with walnut chutney and rose milk for norukku theeni before a heavy meal.

To start with we had the Nadan karuveppilai mutton soup: Chilly garlic tossed mutton pieces topped over a sheet of egg donut with a clear karuveppilai soup. Impressed me much and it was a great start.

Okay let’s go with the best starters:

Semiya cheese bonda: Semiya or vermicelli outer crust layer filled with tangy sauce and cheese. Activated charcoal sauce which was used to rest the bonda was yumm.

Neitha kori: Ever had beetroot appam, never in my life before. Beetroot is one of my love in vegetables. Infused with appam the taste was so good with mild sweet taste topped with shallots, ginger, pepper and tomato tossed small chunks of chicken. Non-oily, perfect crunch of chicken with a mild sweet beetroot appam. Am going again for this.

Eraal karuveppilai porichathu: Karuveppilai podi rolled over a medium sized prawn roasted to perfection with the walnut chutney was a treat to my taste buds. No smell of prawns or any such sea food smell was found in this.

Chicken tikka paniyaram: finely chopped chicken flesh tikka masala pieces stuffed inside paniyaram. Felt the chicken could have been little more.

Javvarisi milagai athirasam: Crunchy bite of peanuts in every bite with sagao, curry leaves and garlic. But it was more over like a vadai and not athirasam to me.

Chinna vengayam mutton sukka: this combination is love to me always since my granny and mom used to make them always at home. They made this good enough, but my feel toward is the chilly spice must be a bit more.

Gravies we ordered includes Varutha melagu eraichi masala, Eraal milagai elumichai kolambu and elam kozhi varutha kolambu. They all paired with steamed rice, appam or parota. Tried bits of everything and loved them all. Their gravies were damn good and I love the eraichi masala more because it was exactly with more of pepper spice.

Mutton biriyani: Less spiced basmati rice based biriyani which had less impact in my heart compared to the other dishes.

The show stopper main course thali was the chettiyar kari virunthu with mutton, chicken and meen gravies, also with sambar, rasam, curd, steamed rice, kizhangu poriyal, kootu and appalam. I loved their meal so much which made my lunch complete.

Desserts is what I missed trying there which I heard was the best from my fellow buddies. Will update after trying them out.

Tried their new menu after all the hype. I would say it was really worth all the hype. The age old dishes were innovated and to match the current trend. Loved everything about this place right from the ambience, hospitality and platting. The dishes were platted excellently and looked more appealing. The spices were in perfect balance.
For starters ordered their chicken neithakori which was served with a beetroot appam, they both made a great combo,Mutton chukka was served with fried idiyappam which was so unique in its taste, then my most favorite was their eral karuveppilai fry, the prawn was mixed in a curry leaf batter and deep fried and i would rate it the bestest among all. Main course was equally great we ordered chicken biryani, appam, chicken chettinad and idicha kozhi kozhambu. Don't miss thier gothumai halwa for the desserts. Highly recommended 🌟.

Let me get this out of the way, I have tried PARAMBRIYAM and honest to god I didn't like it! Which made me even more sceptical to try ot for the second time. But let me ask you this they have come back pratish strong and it is now one of my favourite places and top in my suggestion list!

FIRST UP STARTERS
- Nadan Karuvepillai Mutton Soup
Possibly the most fancy looking soup which is basically a 6 hours simmered mutton soup with curry leaf extract and has chilli garlic lamb pieces sitting on top of a egg white which is made to look like a dounut. The lamb pieces are good for crunch while the stock is pepery enough and is quite the best way to start it up!

- Semiya Cheese Bonda
Who doesn't like cheese balls, well this is a take on that rather like a derived version which has masala and cheese filling deep fried and crusted with vermicelli. So the crunch is a little too much but the activated charcoal sauce bed which rests on makes it's case viable!

- Neitha Kori
The presentation in itself took me over, a pinkish beetroot appam serves as a base to this while the Neitha Kori such as a chunk in the middle. I am a big sucker when it comes to any dish that has its base with small onions, garlic and pepper. These three are what makes the very crux of it. And its a for sure must try, because generally these kind are made to to swim in an ocean of oil but here it doesn't happen which is a pretty big deal!

- Eral Karuvepillai Porichathu
A dry starter, but a good one. I love anything that's has to do with shrimp, here it's baby shrimp that is coated with curry leaf and rice gun powder which is then grilled and seared which and the crispiness is not as dominant as in the case of semmiya bonda but a much subtle one since it is finely coarsed! And the walnut thovayal accompaniment helps its case even more.

- Javarusi Milaga Athirasam
I don't know why they call it as an athirasam, for me it looks and tastes like a Javi arusi vada, but more soft in texture. Meaning the crunchy texture is there but not the rigidity.

-Chicken Tikka Paniyaram
Yes it's exactly the same as it sounds, chicken tikkw stuffed in Paniyaram. Liked it , but the Paniyaram weren't as crunchy as I would have liked nor the stuffing was much of a mouthful.

NOW THE MAIN COURSE
All the below gravies were accompanied with aapams, and let me tell you this the amount of aapams that I gobbled didn't have a limit. *not ashamed* . I would suggest you to go with Barotta or rice whichever ever you fell like!

- Varuthu Araitha Eraichi Curry
The hotter one of them all. Pepper based with good chunks of meat. The best thing about it was the garlic left to infuse and to bite in along with the gravy was indeed woow. Definite to try

- Elam Kozhi Varutha Kolambu
Ok this one is the most favourite. I am someone who loves when flavours of coal or chickory wood are introduced into the main! I get excited and don't ask me why, but more often or the other it fails to excite me while tasting and ends up being only a show thing. But this was really good the infusion happened right and u could feel the coal flavour in every bite! BIG FAN OF THIS

- Mutton Briyani
Certainly not the best but the fact it tasted exactly like a seeraga samba one even when it was made of
basmati made it like it more and the gravies did help in gobbling as well!

AND DESSERTS TO FINISH
- Jeera Mittai and Peppermint Panacotta
I liked them, but for some reason the other creations were too above than this so am not sure to suggest or not

- Gulab Jamun Thengaai Cheescake
Who doesn't love Cheescake and the fact that it's given a southern twist with jaamun and even my favourite then mittai included just can't get wrong in any way. Loved it

- Gothuma Halwa
Halwa being another favourite of mine I couldn't say no to it. The icecream that accompanied along with it was weird and complementing at the same time which I couldn't find what it was actually which when asked they told it was a smoked Cardamom icecream! Weird but good. And the cashew burfi on top which is placed on a edible paper screams fancy all around.

- In-house Icecreams
They have quite a list of namma ooru flavoured ones like, BEEDA, PANAGAM, PANJAMIRATHAM, PEPPERMITTAI, KARUPATTI and KAMARKATTU ❤️

For all those who love South Indian and Chettinad cuisine, this is "PARAMBRIYM" for you!! ❤
It's a Sunday afternoon I went in to this Parambriym Restaurant in Anna Nagar, after a long tiring drive with the help of world's best navigator.😑 Somehow I managed to get there.
Despite all these confusions, this restaurant changed my mood instantly. Their ambience was so pleasing and welcoming.😇
I settled down for a meal and I was served with plenty of dishes.😍
First I got Nadan karuveppilai mutton soup, its flavour was very good. Javvarasi Milagaa Athirasam was crispy and it gave a good start.
Mutton chukka and the curries they have served was soooooooooo tasty😋.
Their menu gives a home made feel , but with a little twist. 😉
Overall, it was a good dining experience with a complete meal of starters main course and desserts.

Have you tried Parambariyam's new fusion menu? No? Then it is a must-try!

The moment I heard they have a fusion menu I wanted to try them and went there for my dinner.

So the list of dishes that I have tried is

SOUP

Naadan Karuvepillai Mutton Soup ( A normal  one)
Nei Thaalicha Tomato Rasam ( This one was the best and you have to definitely try)

STARTER

Eral Karuvepillai Porichathu (Must try)
Semiya Cheese Bonda ( It took a lot of time for me to find their dip, Must Try)
Chinna Vengaya Mutton Chukka ( Good)
Neitha Kori (Mangalorean dish, served with beetroot appam, Must try)

MAINS

Madhurai Chinthamani Kozhi Curry (Chintamani tasted like pulli kozhambu, and they told that is how Chintamani chicken tastes like.)
Eral Milagu Elumichai Curry ( Must Try)
Malai Chicken Tawa Biriyani (Normal)

DESSERT

Gothuma Halwa - this was served with  Smoked Cardamom Icecream and Cashew nut Barfi
Gulab Jamun Cheesecake - served with Pnjamiratham icecream and cashewnut Barfi
Beeda Icecream

The desserts were too good and went well with the fusion also the icecreams are made lively in the counter.

The overall experience, ambiance, and service were equally good.

It was on a Saturday afternoon my friends and myself taught of visiting this place to try their new ANDHRA FESTIVAL MENU, the ambiance gives you an authentic chettinad feel with all the antique utensils.

we tried their,

Chatpata puttagodugulu – it’s a home style magic masala implemented in crispy mushrooms. (GOOD 👌)

Kheema Kothu Mamsam - it was damn spicy (#MUSTRY✔️)

Gongura paneer – slabs of paneer cooked with traditional gongura pickle in tandoor (PANEER WAS VERY HARD AND I DINT FEEL ANY PICKLE TASTE👎)

Karepakku guddu vepudu – fried curry leaf masala egg (NOTHING BUT A NORMAL BOILED EGG WITH SOME PODI, WHICH ACTUALLY DINT GIVE ANY FLAVOR👎)

Kothemeera kodi vepudu – crispy coriander chicken fritters (GOOD👌)

Telangana chicken lollipop – crispy chicken winglet tossed with spicy blended masala (#MUSTTRY✔️)

Allam Chapala pulusu – fish cooked with ginger flavored spicy and tangy gravy in Andhra style (#MUSTTRY✔️)

Andhara thatta bhojinam non veg (thali)

The thali had one sweet, fish fry, curd, papad, veggies along with 3 gravy’s (Which was actually GOOD👌)

Nanari Sarbath (#MUSTTRY✔️)

The overall service, food and ambiance was good but

So, we crashed in here for a weekend lunch for their new menu launch!
The place was very spacious. Huge restaurant with lots of tables and walking space.
First we got the soups on table,
NEI THALICHA TOMATO RASAM - the flavours were on point. The presentation was good too.
NAADAN KARUVEPILLAI MUTTON SOUP- this was one of the best soups I had. Crispy mutton and egg white added with mutton flavoured broth! It was amazing!
.
For starters we got
IDIYAPPAM URULAI BONDA - which is basically potato masala coated with idiyappam and deep fried. It was good. Nothing major to complain about.
NEITHA KORI - it's a chicken dish and the chicken was cooked to perfection. It melted in our mouth and perfectly seasoned.
RASA PODI ERA - this one stole the show. We loved the flavor combination and the prawns were cooked to perfection! This was a clean plate.
MUNDHIRI PARUPPU KOZHI CHUKKA - again, the meat was cooked to perfection and served at the right spice level.
.
For main course,
We had varities of aapam with,
ELAM KOZHI VARUTHA KOZHAMBU -the flavour of the chicken and the gravy was there but the chicken was dry and could've been better!
ERAAL MILAGAA ELUMICHAI CURRY - this was the best of the main course! Loved the flavor of lemon and prawn together! Tasted great!
PARAMBARYAM SPECIAL MUTTON BIRYANI -the briyani was good and the mutton was cooked well! Perfect complimentaty for the gravies.
.
Coming to the desserts
THIRUNENVELI HALWA TERRINE - this dessert made everyone go wow. Amazing halwa texture with a smoked cardamom ice cream. Perfect end for a perfect meal.
GULAAB JAAMUN COCONUT CHEESECAKE - was nice. Tasted good.
.
The service was too good. It was pretty fast too. The staffs were polite and responded to our call quickly!
.
.
Overall: loved the entire experience. Eventhough some corrections were there on the food side, the ambiance and service made us neglect those small Imperfections in food!
Will I go again? Definitely!

Prambriym is one of those names that has its presence established in the chennai food scene in a very short time when it comes to south indian food and i have always liked them..But after closing a couple of outlets including the one in tambaram which was the closest to me they were in a path they dont want to be until recently where are striving to come back with a bang..Giving a modern twist to their menu which actually looks promising too..I Tried the same at their anna nagar outlet recently..Located in the 3rd avenue opposite to Sea shell and on the first floor above gowri krishna hotel..They do have basic parking facilities too..

The dining area on the first floor is a medium sized one with a seating capacity of 50+ ppl..Its actually a hall type setup with spacious seating and not cramped in any way..The dining area is filled with decor that resemble any chettinad house with wood pillars and kolam styled sealing etc..The seating also is with respect to it..The service is friendly and polite with average waiting time but what ever is served has been plated well with servers having exact idea about the dish..

Given below are the list of items i tried and my take on them..

Welcome Drink : Even this was plated well..It was glass of moru served with curd rice Aracini balls..The Moru was decent but the aracini balls were too good..The curd rice ball was filled with pickle in middle and fried to perfection...Loved it completely..Also 2 types of dips were served of which i loved the capsicum based one..Smoked and well made..

Nei Thalicha Tomato Rasam : I did not expect such a dish at parambriym..What reached the table was burning clove on a small ball of butter along with few veggies beautifully presented..Hot tomoto based rasam is poured on it..This was not just about the theatrics as it tasted very good too..The butter instantly melted while the hot soup was poured to give a wonderful aroma..

Naadan Karuvepillai Mutton Soup : Served in same manner but no burning clove here..One fried egg topped with fried mutton slices topped with what tasted bone based soup..This one tasted even better..Not limiting to only theatrics the taste of the soups was also really good..

Idiyappam Urulai Bonda : Was served with a few onion rings..The dish basically is mysore potato masala rolled inside an idiyappam and crispy fried..a first of sorts but taste wise it was good..

Rasa Podi Prawn : This one was a painting in itself with loads of colors around with some neatly lined up prawns in centre..My ever favorite combo is rasam satham with prawn thokku and they have literally fused them together and to perfection..Loved it to bits and hands down best dish of the meal..

Chinna Vengaya Mutton Chukka : Spicy to the core was this mutton chukka with loads of small onions cooked together..The based taste was just too perfect and loved it very much and the meat to was juicy and tender..Was served on fried noodle of sort tossed in a sweet and sour sauce..

Munthiri Paruppu Chicken Chukka : This one got even better though it had almost the same taste the addition of cashews took it to another level..Juicy pieces of meat and this one was served with small dosas in the size of pancakes topped and sandwiches with veggies along with mayo and tandoori sauce.

Neitha Kori : Would rate this the best chicken based starter i have had in recent times..Juicy pieces of chicken were tossed in butter rich spicy sauce along with onion..Served on a beetroot flavored aapam along with few munchies..

Kariyum Sorum Naatu Kozhi Kozhambu : This is a new launch of theirs wherein meals is served in a tiffen box..Has a Rice variety, Gravy along with side and munchies..Would classify them as mini meals..The gravy which was pepper based one using naatu kozhi was really good..

Parambriym Spl Mutton Biryani : One of the decent ones with loads of juicy meat..The taste was good to say the least with good aroma that resemble any south style biryani but it felt a bit dry which was let down..

Aapams : They have beetroot, Mint along the regular variant..The beetroot and mint ones had actual tastes and were really good..All were made to perfection..Cant ask for more..

Vengaya Vathal Kara Kozhambu : This was more of a puli kozhambu with loads of ladies finger and it turned out to be the best gravy served..It was so lipsmackingly good that i am craving for it as i write about..Perfect combination with dosas and idlies..

Elam Kozhi Varutha Kozhambu : Pretty good one with juicy meat and cooked well..Had a slight smokey feel to it which was big plus to the whole dish..

Eraa Milaga Elumichai Curry : With Loads of prawns in a lemon based gravy..I just had a bit of it and felt it had less south indian feel to it..Nevertheless tasted good..

Icecreams : Made using liquid nitrogen i had the smoked cardamom one which was unique in taste but was extra crystalized..The chocolate and karupatti one on the other hand was too good..

Gulab Jamun Cheese Cake : Was a good one with gulab jamun stuffed inside and the cake was topped with crushed barfi..Served on a bed of chocolate sauce along with then mittai dipped in chocolate sauce..Many factors that worked well together..

Thirunelveli halwa with kamarkattu : This was served with a small scoop of the same smoked cardamom ice cream..But the other two factors were really good..The halwa was smooth and had a melt in the mouth kind of texture topped with crushed crispy kamarkattu..Loved this one..

Usually we see in the name of giving a twist to food many restaurants move away from what they are supposed to serve but parambriym has balanced it out perfectly to give us the authentic taste mixed with some modern plating and ideas..Except the biryani no other item had anything to complain about..Worth a try..

It's a chettinad fine dining restaurant which offers a lot of good non-Veg south indian dishes. It's on the 2nd floor but isn't too hard to find.
Good Ambinece and the staff there are very friendly.
We actually tried a lot of dishes. But These were my favorites :-
Parambriyam is a South Indian - Chettinad concentric restaurant that serves a lovely variety of non-Veg and vegetarian dishes ! Their new menu is out and it is looking amazing. Among all the dishes we tried ,these were my favorites :-

1. Naadan Karuveepelai mutton soup was spicy and meaty! Loved it's consistency !

2. Neitha Kozhi with beetroot appam - The combination of the beetroot appam soaked in the chicken was lovely. This one is a must try.

3. The mutton sukka - Cooked how every sukka should be. And still have a good balance of flavours. Another must try here !

4. The chettinad Kari virunde meals was the highlight here. For Rs 275, they served a beautiful South Indian thali/ Meals with good quantity of meat and vegetarian options.

5. As curries, we went for the Elam kozhi curry and the prawns milaga curry. Both these dishes were excellent! Make sure to try them out either with white rice or appams. The combo will definetly leave you speechless ❤️

6. For dessert, The Jeera Mittai Pannacotta got me all nostalgic. I felt the quantity of Jeera Mittai was too much for me,but the Pannacotta was yummy!

7. Parambriyam has a wide range of ice cream flavours. And not the ones that you see on a regular basis. Among them the Panchamritham , the strawberry mint and the Chocolate (the best) are my favorites. So good!

The Ambience of the place is similar to a family restaurant with a touch of chettinad style wall art and decor. The menu presents with a wide range of dishes and the food is well cooked and presented. If you are into chettinad and south Indian cuisine, this is a place in Chennai that you have to give a try !

We ordered mutton Briyani ,chicken Briyani , Butter naan and paneer butter masala. Iam very much impressed with long basmati rice, less oil , less masala and well cooked chicken & mutton pieces. Filling at the same time easily digested. Butter naan was very hard and must improve the texture. Paneer masala is ok . They served panagam & papads as complimentary . Very good ambience and friendly staffs.

I never thought I would feel so full. The rice was cooked to perfection. Aroma was mesmerising. Chicken pieces were in abundance.

They were served in a neat pan like bowl and we were also given 3 different sauces - tomato, green chilli & hot sauce.

Plate was given with plantain leaf. It felt mix of tradition & modern day life.

Thoroughly enjoyed the food :)

We all know Parambriym is famous for their Authentic Chettinad Cuisine!
Been to this place a couple of times and a fan of their Kozhi Milagu Rasam and Vazhai Ilai Saapadu (Non veg) priced at 165/-!(long back) The last time I was here at the Anna Nagar branch was for their exclusive “Andhra Food Festival” with the Fam & everyone loved the Authenticity of Andhra Cuisine.
To shoo away our mid Week Blues, we crashed at this place for Dinner last Wednesday. So glad to know that Parambriym also has joined the ‘FUSION FOOD’ club that’s trending in the city right now. Check – ‘Authentic’ Fusion Food at a nominal pricing 
To start off with, we ordered 2 soup varieties to share it among the 3 of us.
Nei Thaalicha Tomato Rasam :
The presentation was on point & they light the cinnamon dipped in Ghee before pouring the Tomato Rasam. A must must try & for Rs. 95/- I can say this soup is definitely underpriced for its quantity & flavor.
Naadan Karuveppilai Mutton Soup :
With chunks of fried Mutton Pieces & Egg white omlet, this soup is the best when served hot. I loved the punch of pepper & mutton fry that soothed my sore throat. Priced at Rs. 115/-
For the starters, we had :
Eeral Karuveppilai Porichathu :
Prawns that were fried to perfection Karuveppilai & Gun Powder podi. If you are thinking what the fusion is about, they served it with Charcoal Mayo & Orange Walnut Chutney – Rs. 235/-
Chinna Vengayam Mutton Chukka :
Chinna Vengayam & Mutton, are there any non veg lovers who can say No to this combination? Delicious is the word. The mutton pieces were minced really small & tender with kojam pepper thookal a and gundu milagai for the spice – Rs. 205
Neitha Kori :
Again, a very beautiful & tempting presentation. The Ghee chicken roast was served inbetween beetroot Aapam along with a Half Boil. The dish had 8 – 10 pieces of chicken topped with Tapioca Chips – Rs. 195/-
Semiya Cheese Bonda :
The only Vegetarian dish that we ordered :P This starter looked and tasted more like Plain Cheese Balls (without the pull ofcourse) & was served with Smoked Capsicum Chutney – Rs. 170/-
For the Main Course, we ordered few Appam & sides :
Eraa Milaga Elumichai Curry :
The quantity was a lot more than expected with 10 – 15 pieces of prawn and a pot full of gravy. The flavor was a mixture of tanginess from the lemon and spice from the milagai. The gravy dint go on well with Aapam but it would have been such a great accompaniment for rice – Rs.295/-
Madurai Chintamani Kozhi Curry :
A famous South Indian Curry & loved by most of the NV’s. This gravy we expected it to be high on spice but unexpectedly it was high on Tanginess. Tanginess level 100/. The chef explained that the gravy gets its tanginess from tamarind as the chicken will be soaked with tamarind water. Dint feel so great to my palate but my friends loved it – Rs. 295/-
How can we come to Parambriym and not have Biriyani? Since it was all about the Fusion, we ordered Malai Chicken Biriyani : Its been ages since I had Malai Chicken Biriyani and I must admit Malai Biryani is definitely one of a kind. The taste was delectable, creamy & aromatic with tender chicken pieces – Rs.215/- (worthu bha)
To the most favourite part of the meal :
Godhuma Halwa :
An all time favorite sweet with a healthy twist (godhumai). The consistency was not that of the usual halwa (sticky & chewy), rather it just melts in your mouth – no biting, no chewing you take a spoon and it simply melts in your melt.
Gulab Jamun Thengai Cheesecake :
You might be a little skeptic on the combination of two entirely different classic dessert. But trust me, it makes a better love story than Twilight :P Served with Butter Biscuit Ice cream (kindling all the 90’s memories with Ice Cream), thaen mittai and balli mittai aka seeraga mittai – Ahh, this Dessert has my heart 🌸

Always been my favourite fine dining place in Anna Nagar when it comes to biriyani and now they are up for new limited menu. I went to try their Andhra food festival which is happening from 19-30th of April and I must say I loved it .

Being a Telugu myself I loved it thoroughly , you're welcomed by their special panagam which is a jaggery based drink and some colourful fryums. All their starters we had has that tangy and spicy flavour which Andhra cuisine is all about and out of all the dishes we had chinthakaya kaju masala chicken tops my list. They also have unlimited meals and which cost just ₹225 , for a fine dining restaurant that price is an absolute steal. All the gravies and the starter were spot on and the best part about it is the sweet that comes with it. It's paper texted sweet with jaggery filling in between it called the putharekalu.

Overall this fest is a must try if you're someone who loves spicy and tangy food.

Parambriyam is pretty much my family's go to restaurant ever since my childhood. No matter who the guests are or what occasion it is, my family has bith their eye's and stomach only for parambriyam. And the reasons are sound too, first i reside nearby the restaurant, and secondly they are raw, authentic and serve good food. So i was there to try out their andhra food festival happening till april 30 and i have to say they haven't changed in anyway. Everything was perfect just how it was years back. Personally i love andhra cuisine for its spiciness and flavour packed dishes. And the only con has to be the dishes weren't as spicy as an andhra dish should be. They were pretty mild. But then, at the end it was a good meal at my favourite place.

If you're someone who's much into authentic south indian food then this should definitely be in your bucket list.

The Newly Revamped menu at Parambriym is exceptionally brilliant taste wise as well as the VFM. The idea of curating fusion dishes withholding the authenticity of every ingredient and the way it’s used is totally appreciable.

What we Cherished the most was the Soothing Nei Thaalicha Tomato Rasam which was a great start to our meal accompanied by the Chinna Vengayam Mutton Chukka which uses a tender cut of meat and the spice mix used takes the dish up a notch🤤.

Neitha Kori was my personal favourite served with healthy Beetroot Aappam.

Who would’ve though healthy and tasty could go hand in hand 😅 each of their dishes will suprise you by the ingredients that have gone into making your meal.

Defenitely a must try place for Fusion Cuisine❤️

"Parambriym"... The theme of the restaurant was good... The way to the dining area, was pleasant... The restaurant, tried a little justification for its name... On coming to food... The taste is quite good... Where we ordered "karuk muruk Karivepillai chicken", "Ceylon egg parrota", "Karivepillai chicken dosa"... The dosa tasted sweet... But other stuffs were good and decent taste... Did I mention..??? The one major part... It was as pleasant experience where we enjoyed food with instrumental of classic raaja and Rahman songs... "Classic songs instrumental" + "Yummy food on table" + "Your loved one" = "Memorable experience"... This has what 'Parambriym' has given me...

It is a beautiful place with all the south Indian vibes.
The food is just amazing. Perfection in the balance of flavour and beautifully made. The cook on the meat is just perfect and the Biriyani is to die for.
Only drawback (a major one at that) are the rates which are definitely on the expensive side.
But, for the food, would definitely visit again!

A routine visit to parambriym, where I always loved the ambience. The place let's you get he vibes of the parambriyam of our culture. A bronzy- copper look to the Interiors is remenescant to the sattire look of the cholas. The food is served with the bannana leaf in which Many might not know, food observes the polyphenols from the leaf and act as anti bacterial aids.

Moving on to the food we ordered,

1. For the starters we ordered erra rasam podi varuval ( prawn cooked with rasam powder - sautted and fried), the dish was excellent and rich in its taste. The spice level was tact and prawn was well cooked and enriched with the rasam spices. It was a to go dish I would suggest.

2. Moving on to vanjaram fry, a traditional marinated fry of vanjaram fish, complemented well With the main dishes. The stomach portion should be removed though, just a honest suggestion, for a better experience. Any fish lover should go for this.

3. The veg meals had traditional house made veggies which changes from day to day and sambar, rasam and curd to accompany rice, this is a standard order for all, so nothing more to comment on.

4. Finally chicken 65 biryani is my favourite here. The biryani rice is made of jeeraga samba , that's one of the primary reason I visit this place. It has thus peppery touch to the biryani and well cooked with dum. The biryani provides an aromatic flavour along with its mouth watering taste. The chicken 65 in it, augments the Taste a bit.

Overall , come here to experience a good meal with your family or loved ones.

I ordered from this place a while back as a gamble for an impromptu family get together and it was a gamble that paid off in spades. Everyone loved the food and we ordered quite a few things. The biriyanis was great, I personally had the mutton biriyani and the meat was tender and the rice was delicious. The side dishes were all equally delicious even the soups; The prawns were a decent size and fresh, mutton pepper fry was the best and the chettinadu chicken is a must try. We even tried the panneer 65 which I totally recommend. Too bad, I no longer see them listed on the delivery apps due to distance I guess, maybe I was lucky that one time but I really hope they open a branch somewhere near the beach so I can keep on ordering.

Packaging was excellent and the preparation time was prompt. South Indian food at its best.

One of the best places to have a stomach full meal .
I ordered veg meals - it had rice with all curries , Biriyani chappathi
They severed a glass of paanagam and also paruppu podi with lots of fryums
Also I had 15% off because I booked on dineout app.
It was definitely worth the price .
There was a couple sitting next to me with a 2yr old baby
The couple weren’t able to eat peacefully since the kid was jumping on to the table etc
The staffs took the kid and kept the kid entertained by playing and making the kid to laugh
They had the baby in their hands for the entire time the couple had the meal .
Not sure if any restaurant would do this 🔥
