We liked the set up and the ambience. The pitcher of beer was a good deal to start with . For starter we ordered spicy smoked nut chicken which was good followed by fish chettinadu which was okay. Watsons have launched their new menu and I got to taste them. The menu is quite innovative with a fusion dishes. Listing here a few favourite dishes from the menu bbq wings, Lankan fish balls, tandoori egg, chicken with upma, keema balls with ghee rice. Lankan dal makhani.
So as we expect the drinks from this place was very good... But what surprised me was that the starters from this place were also too good👍😋 their old menu has less veg options but now they changed their menu and they have many veg options too👍 and every cocktails I tried were good and mocktails were ok.... Coming to mains the mutton kheema ball gravy was the best don't miss their pizzas... They have limited dessert options...
And the ambiance was the best for a place like this.... 👍
I was here for the new menu. Loved every singe dish. It's a very nice place to hangout with friends. The must try dishes are the Paneer Tikka, the momos, mushroom pizza and the chocolate cake. Would definitely suggest this place.

Beating the Myth of restro bar not having enough veg options is this place. 💜
Located right next to Jeeva park in Tnagar which is very easily locatable. I went for dinner with couple of other friends. The staffs are very friendly and polite.
Service is on point. No complaints.
Talking about the food.
Since we went as a group , we ordered alot which had both Veg and Non-veg dishes.
Being a vegetarian, I can comment only on the veg dishes.
For the starters , we had
• Achari Paneer tikka which wasn't spicy for my taste bud and the paneer was also soft and moist. Loved it!
• Vegetable momos : I loveed it. Soft and it went so well with the sides.
• Mushroom paprika : This was mushroom with loads on cheese which was good but I felt it a bit salty for my taste. I would have loved if the salt was less.
Mains :
• Watson's style upma with Chutney : This was absolutely my favorite. Being a upma fan, I wanted to taste this but at the same time I was spectical about the taste because I didnt wanted to get disappointed. But to my surprise it was gooooood. The paneer on side complimented it so well. Definitely going back for this!💜
• Classic mushroom pizza : This was good except for the salt part again here. They did have generous amount of cheese where you can get cheese pull also(😋) but less salt would have made it perfect for me.
Talking about the drinks,
We had various kinds of drinks but my personal favourite was by the beach which had Lychee in it. It was soothing and went well with my food!
Overall I loved my experience and would definitely go back again!💜

This place in T.Nagar was in my wishlist since a long time. Place was very lit with young crowd. Lot of north Indians come to this place for drinks. We ordered three beer pitchers, LIIT, Jaeger bomb and for food we ordered crispy corn, pizzaa, biryani and humus. Food was fine, ambiance was very nice. Even interiors was so nice. Also for your entry you need to show your ID proof , without ID you won't be allowed to get inside.
I loved the place. Its one of the good places with nice ambience in the market. Prices are so well thought to get customer retention for sure. What also impressed me was that the staff were courteous enough for such a place which usually is not expected. Food is were I had the trouble. The burgers n pizzas could be much better. If this works this place will fly.

Oh and trust me it tasted even more amazing than it sounded !! We ended up eating the fried idly, nethily fry and chicken tikka like someone who has never eaten before!! And the place is Such a warm and cozy place to visit. I must say that our waiter (Mr Lokesh) was remarkable! Halfway through the meal I was telling my friend what a greater waiter Lokesh made for being so polite, timely yet not pushy, and that huge smile on his face!😊😊👍

Monday morning at early 12am at Watson's pub was good choice for good food n drinks. It's lovely place to be with n set in good place in the heart of city,calm n quiet n very spacious. I don't drink, but accompany my friends who do to clubs all the time. This is a nice little British themed pub in T nagar Chennai. The food prices were pretty moderate. I had podi idly and veg Biriyani and no complaints whatsoever. They have the regular set of beers which my friends drank and they liked the cocktails as well. Went on a Friday night, decent crowd. They have an open space as well where they project ongoing sports on a white screen which also serves as the smoking area. It doesn't have a dance floor and the dj was playing regular hits. Not recommended if you want to go to a place to talk to someone as the music is too loud. Overall a decent place. You also have call drivers at the valet parking who will drive you home for a charge if you're drunk.

Was dying to go here for sometime and I went here last weekend. Opted for beer and Sangria to keep it light. I really enjoyed the food and service. We had Dorritos (nachos), Chorizo with bell pepper and onion flat bread, Chilly honey sesame pork and a pizza (World Cup Special; forgot the name). Great ambience! Watson’s is a nice Resto Bar, was there on a Friday evening.
The food and drinks were nominally priced.
Our group had a mix of cocktails, mocktails and beers.
The liquor was average priced and the feedback that I received on cocktails were they were hard!
Coming to food.
We had
Crispy fried corn - best dish of the evening that we repeated the order.
Paneer skewers were different with a different marinade and it was hit amongst the group.
We also ordered Egg Podimas and Cheesy Dorittos.
Egg Podimas was very tasty but cheesy Dorito’s was a let down.
Overall a very walllet friendly place and looks like a happening place as well.
I recently visited this pub like a week back. And I’m thrilled to say that this place is actually great and pocket friendly. The food is great , so is the service and the music is soothing. What I loved best about the place was how it was setup. I am likely to visit again and I’d highly recommend it to my friends!
An after office drinks night is a must, and Watson's never fails you. The appetizers are a perfect combination to have with your favorite drink. The three bowl lentils is a unique and my favorite item to snack on while drinking.
It's healthy - made of moong Dal, chana Dal with onions and tomatos and lemon for taste.
This became my favorite snack which makes me enjoy my drinks without the guilt of eating high calorie snacks.

Been to Watson’s a couple of times and I must say that they have a really Good ambience and it’s presence in the heart of the city makes it even more happening!
Fantastic food and amazing drinks. Thanks to the bartender for making the drinks extra strong! This place also had a vibrant crowd. It was really entertaining to watch, never a dull moment.

I went there last Sunday to Meetup my friends, loved the place. Ambience is amazing. Coming from Delhi my expectations were really low for all places in Chennai but honestly this place holds an experience that you'd like to live if you're in the city.
Food was decent but food menu is very limited so I thought there weren't enough options. But that doesn't mean existing menu is bad.

Love love love the interiors of the place and the fact that the smoking zone is an open terrace view area such that people like me who don't smoke can be with her friends without completely taking the smoke in! I love the fact that if you're in a mood for games you have games stacked up that you can pick up and play away! It reminds me of my childhood and makes me feel at home! Just Ramp up the food menu and you're all set!

Watson's is one of my favourite places to grab a drink and eat. The ambiance is fantastic and quite spacious. The plus point is that they have a large smoking area separate from the non smoking area. The servers are friendly and quick to react and give good recommendations. The food is also pretty great, love their wings and grilled food. A couple of wings with a pint of cold beer is amazing on a sultry evening in Chennai. The only minus is the loud music, but other than that Watson's is a fantastic place. Hope they continue to maintain a high standard.

Got the chance to visit Watson's for lunch with a bunch of friends on a Saturday. Was easy to locate and with ample car parking. There wasn't much of a crowd here at that time with most tables available.
There was pleasant music playing in the background. Watsons has several seating options including high chairs, regular table seats with some outdoor seating as well. We didn't opt for any alcohol so can't comment on that experience. The menu had a great spread and all at fairly reasonable prices. For the price we paid for the 3 of us (about 600 INR per head on an average) the experience was pleasant, with good tasting food.
Place is very good to chill with friends. Good atmosphere. The food is really good.

The place is a must visit when in T.Nagar, Chennai if you want a place to relax and spend good time. As the restaurant states, it is exactly a neighborhood bar with good food/beverage/liquor and a professional staff. Loved the visit here, the music is good, variety of collection, one can enjoy their time here with friends or even when you have to work. As a Restro-Bar, the place is really well maintained situated at a very accessible and not so busy place geographically. They have separate sections divided into smoking and non-smoking as well. Only point I would say is, for non smokers going through the smoking room for using the lavatory is somewhat claustrophobic(Men&women toilets are in that part of the restaurant). But that is only if there is a group or many number of people present at the smoking side of the Restaurant.
Edit : A Note for the users reading this review, The quantity of items in the non-veg menu is kind of less in comparison to veg and especially when the price of non-veg items are priced on the higher side(obviously). That's all that I had to add.
