I booked the table in advance (in the morning) and checked-in at 12:30PM for lunch. They gave us a table with good privacy and view. Felt great.
We ordered indian food - Soup, lolly pop Chicken, Military Chicken curry, Wheat Parathas, Dosa and a Veggie gravy.
All dishes were very tasty and fresh. The rotis and dosa were simply great. The chicken were right spicy and flavourful.
We enjoyed the food well, the service was good.
Overall, a very good experience. I would suggest this restaurant to anyone who loves indian food.

A nice place to hangout on a weekend with friends! The service is good! The rates are reasonable. The taste is good but except the noodles, the noodles are larger in size and little bit difficult in chewing. And we ordered military chicken which we were disappointed on that.. since it tasted like chicken soaked in sambar.. Other than that we loved the restaurant.

Madras diner has a three different styles of ambiance. The private area is too good for friends gettogether.Food is worth for the money. Portion size is also good. Garlic naan and panner butter masala serves the best here. Desserts are extremely awesome.

Impressed by the ratings and the pictures, I decided to order food from The Madras Diner. I only ordered one dish but I have to say that I am impressed.
The Mutton Bhuna Gosht was amazing. It had the perfect balance of spices which was the highlight of the dish. The quantity was good and the pieces were tender. Overall, a delectable dish.
What surprised me was the fact that even though the taste of the dish was amazing, it didn't taste like a typical Mutton Bhuna Gosht. But the taste was exactly like a typical Bengali dish called 'Kosha Mangsho'. For a Bengali (me), not only it was a surprise in Chennai but also my happiest foodie moment in this city. It's like, you ask for a diamond but you get a pearl instead.
I haven't tried their other dishes yet but would definitely give it a shot.

I prefer the cafe lounge than the multi-cuisine restaurant. A great ambience of the madras style with super-star's paintings, Chennai super kings paintings and lot more...
The billiards table and the selfie stand has to be mentioned... you need not waste your time by waiting for the food. You could have fun with your friends!

Worth the money... the milkshake is the best of all they have in their menu card

The best part is the cafe lounge with selfie zone, snooker table, high bar chairs, and beautiful lightings and decorations.
And about the food, I’m pretty sure you’d be on cloud nine when you taste it. Cottage cheese tossed with chilli and spices. The texture was absolutely fine and it was spicy with little tanginess added to it and it tasted too good. 💯

They gave a garlic naan and some dal makhani as complimentary with the sizzler! And the pasta was a little more than average pasta! Over all a decent place to go to in mogappair!

I have went twice to this place with family for dinner. Both the time it was a good. We thought the quantity will be like other restaurants and ordered more items but the guy who took the order reminded us but we didn't listen 😊, both the times we and then to parcel the extra food 😊. Good taste for birth adult and kids. At the roof they are projecting IPL which was good 👍

This is the recent sensational restaurant in mogapair. I love this place especially their costumer service. I’ve been here for more than 10 times .Coming to their food , I’ve ordered mutton biriyani and chicken keema lasagna.
1.Mutton biriyani tasted good but a bit spicy . I loved the caramelised onions on top of it . The pieces were tender and nice. They have this option called boneless chicken and mutton pieces on Saturdays and Sundays . I wish they follow this everyday instead on particular days.
2.Chicken keema lasagna was okay ish. It lacked cheese and the cheese which was already on that was quite overcooked in the corners. The sauce and the chicken keema inside the pasta layers was good.On a scale of 5 ill give 3.5 stars. I wish they improve this dish .

This multi cusine restaurant/ cafe located in mogapair has some decent food with great service. The ambience is nice and lit moody. They graffiti is refreshing and inclusion of selfie booth and pool table makes sure you dont feel bored waiting for your food. I had a portion of chicken wings and basa fillet fish as my appetizer and a tandoori chicken burger and bbq chicken pizza for my main course. The food was decent by mostly bland. A little more spice could have been better. I finished off with an iced tea which was like any other standard iced tea. This place is an one time visit if you wanna check out new places. - It is quite easy if you are familiar with Mogappair/Nolambur. Just hit the straight road from Mogappair West bus terminus. This is almost near the highway flyover. But it is nice, located away from the noisy road and on a wide road.

Wanted to dine here from the time it started, around Jun 2016 i think. This is an awesome place. Ground floor is the bake shop at entrance, then the casual dining restaurant with complete service. Best part i love is the cafe lounge with selfie zone, billiards or snooker table, the high bar chair, colorful wall art, glasses on one side. The feel is so good. The bakery at the entrance with the street light pole looks very nice to see from the street. The whole place is so artistically done. The logo, website look and feel is also very good. Completely optimized with ordering and social media links.
There is a nice open view seating which i will try. The menu and pricing is good. It was not a leisure dine in for me this time. Want to go back with a free mind next time and enjoy the food and ambiance completely during next visit.

The ambience is amazing and decor is fascinating. The continental menu is really good especially their chicken wings. Really spicy but worth it.

It was an interesting drink out of the list.A combination of coconut syrup,pineapple juice,vanilla icecream etc.It was quite good but dint give that satisfaction till the last sip.Only one of the flavors was dominating.

It was a mixture of melons,blueberry crush and icecream.It tasted more or less like a normal watermelon juice which i felt isn't worth it.

Gave a candle light dinner surprise for my husband and I was so happy with how they organized and helped me. The best thing was their service. Food was great too. The only thing I was not very impressed was their roof top dining. It was very rainy that day and the shutters almost toppled. Otherwise I loved the experience. We loved their red velvet cheesecake. It’s the best I have ever had and their prices are reasonable too. Would recommend this restaurant !

Went here on a quaint Sunday evening and decided to try some cappuccino and chilli Cheese Toast. The coffee was decent but unfortunately they do not have brown sugar and sugar free sweetener options, so I was stuck with regular sugar which I didn't want to have. My husband tried filter coffee and he liked it. Chilli Cheese Toast was average, nothing to write home about.
We also packed a brownie and an apple pie, which were very nice to taste.
The Ambience is ok, it may seem very boyish, if you prefer to sit indoors but the terrace area is very nice, especially if it is raining outside and you are sipping on a hot beverage.
The service is nice, the waiters are attentive and humble.
The only thing that bothered me was that the displayed prices for the cakes and what I was charged was different. Upon inquiring I was told that they were old prices on display with seems like a stupid reason. So, double check before you place the order and refuse to pay if they charge you more than what is displayed. Also, it is not cheapest of cafes.
Overall, this is a decent place to hang out and to have some coffee, if you are nearby. Otherwise, there are plenty of better options in T Nagar.

Ground floor is restaurant and 1st floor is coffee longe . We can park our vehicle front side of the restaurant.
Inside coffe longe ambiente is so nice with lovely decoration. You can have gallery view and there you can enjoy lot.. inside snooker gives extra for the look.
I have selected seat on gallery. Nice evening environment and beautiful view.
Now comes to food. I ordered ajwain fish started. I loved the juicy test and then I ordered tandoori chicken. Well cooked and nice taste . Stomach was full still I tried egg fried rice and I will give 5 start for that too. All items I tried was amazing .

A bunch of foodies including me was invited for a food tasting event by the management of Madras diner, even though we dined in at the multi cuisine restaurant, a few dishes from the cafe was also served to us.
Ambiance - Mogappair is completely a foreign place to me, never I've visited any restaurants or anything else, I consider it a little remote !
But a cafe like this in such an area ! Omg ! 😍 5/5 just for the idea !
The ambiance is super cool ! right from the decoration, lightings, they have a sit out with lot of plants hung and it was grass carpeted ! A special mention about their really creative wash basin ! Check pictures. Perfect date kinda place I would call it !
They also have billiards and a super funky photo booth ! Now this adds so much more brownie points to them and obviously makes them the coolest cafe in mogappair ! Don't forget those selfies okay? I really had a fun time clicking pictures in the photobooth with all the properties ! yesssssss !

Drink - Hot chocolate, I like my hot chocolate with over powering of chocolate flavor and it should be served piping hot ! But that day, it was served luke warm to us and the taste was okayish only, room for improvement here !

Quick bites - Garlic bread with cheese was yumm with generous amount of cheese, a bit more of garlic would have been better though, the bread was soft in the middle and crisp in the edges ! Good one.
Potato wedges surely tasted good with the ketchup but I felt the shape of it was a minus here, It was cylindrical, which means chunks of potatoes inside, if it was flatter, the wedges would turn out crispy and henceforth yummy !
Express chicken wings I really loved this one, every bite of it was a bit of heaven. It was saucy and tangy but just the perfect amount.A must have from their cafe menu. The meat was so tender and juicy hence highly recommended.
Basa fillet fish and chips - I ordered this one and was looking forward for this, with lot of expectations ! but this one was a huge let down, Fillet fish is supposed to be sliced down into long thin strips but this was a big horizontally cut piece ! wasn't greatly satisfied by the texture and taste too, the fish was chewy was wondering if it was a old stalk. but the fries served along tasted really good.
chilli cheese toast with jalapeños, tasted good with perfect cheese toppings ! it was presented very neatly too !
Bottom line - Definite room for improvement in food taste and quality here, but the ambiance is on point ! perfect mood lifter !
Madras diner is the only decent cafe in mogappair. It is located in the nolambur main road, 1st avenue, close to dominos pizza. Such a nice place to meet up friends and enjoy. They even had a selfie corner to take good pictures with some accessories. The chairs looked pretty. The ambience was pleasing.

The pizza was cheesy, but the sauce wasn't that good.
-Biryani
They served it in a different kind of bowl with a closing lid type. The taste was amazing with raitha.

Chicken lasagna- a huge thumbs down for their lasagne, there was no cheese. They had just separated minced chicken into a rectangular shape with a sauce which spoilt the taste even more.
For the biryani one shall always choose this place.

Went to this place with my girlfriend yesterday morning.. Ambience was really good... Ordered lemon mojito and watermelon mojito.. Both were great.. The best part was the person who served us... He definitely needs a recognition... People like him is hard to find.. The way he treated us... The way he opened the door for the terrace area.. Was overwhelmed... He actually offered us a surprise complimentary cake with a chocolate decor which read as love.. The cake was really great.. Another best thing was I forgot my helmet and realized at the final step down.. He was right behind me carrying the helmet holding behind him... We didn't want to tip him and insult his passionate hospitality.. But we really owe him much respect.. Over all the experience in here with the mojito as well as the hospitality is amazingly good 😊😊 would definitely recommend

The only decent place in Mogappair to hang out with your friends. Cafe is quaint and we'll decorated. Has an outdoor seating which would have been perfect if the view was perfect. There is a corner dedicated for selfie freaks which has funky Arty stuff. They have a pool table.few board games.The board games are bit out dated and have lost peices. I have suggested to owner ( who is a doctor FYI) to add some games.

We had ordered chicken Andhra Curry, 3/5, mutton rojan josh, spicy mutton could have been better, 3/5, naans 4/5, wheat roti 5/5, egg fried rice 5/5, chicken lollipop 6/5 and definitely a must try. Panner Tikka 2/5 lacked flavour. Lastly some home made kulfi which was delicious and definitely Worth a try.
This place will definitely go places with some minor improvements.
today i happen to visit the madras diner. The food is great and their hospitality is also great. good going keep it up. The dining table is happen to be small, no problem they serve better.
I happened to visit Madras Diner last week. The set up and the ambience is too good. But the place is in an isolated area hence i found hardly one or two guests in the cafe(6pm on Sunday).
The food was just okay. The pool table was small and was not comfortable.

We ordered Fusili and Penne Pasta, Choco lava cake and stuffed Garlic bread for lunch.
Our orders were served on time which was a plus point.
Pastas were really yummy with the white sauce so thick n creamy.
Garlic bread to my surprise wasn't in the usual size and shape. First i thought it was just a bun. But when i took a bite..👼 it was damn and tasted sooooooo yummy.
Finally the dessert which is my favourite section...hold hold.. okay of course it's everybody's favourite one 😒... Was #ootd 😍
Must try dine in once to look at the ambience and to check out for cocktails and other drinks.

On 15th I am went to Madras dinner with my friends to birthday Celebrate I am enjoyed my dinner with my friends warm welcome by Mr Aravind and James excellent service. we take selfies with Arvind and the atmosphere,ambience is good diffent I will visit next time with friend plzzzzzz change outside chairs
This review is for the visit which is almost a week old. Wanted to try thier pizza. So headed to this place on a Sunday evening.. Ambience is great. Hope they maintain it well. Service was exceptional. I've never seen any waiter taking permission to remove the menu card from the table in any restaurants. But Aravind who served us, did. The mocktails are good. Pizza would have been the best if the base was hand tossed. However no complaints apart from that. Would Definitely visit again @Venkatesh Palani

The food is a good treat to our taste buds.. The ambience is very good.. Service is too fast and excellent.. All the items we ordered were great,especially butter chicken masal and Chicken Lollypop. Veetu podi idli could have been better.

this place is simply amazing. great ambience good food . u will be delighted to be here. Its the second time and we prdered styffed mushroom which is amazing. additionally paneer items are tasty. coke is served in style and place is affordable as well.
We chose to dine in the ground floor which was a decent ambience and there is a cafe on the first floor which is more interesting and funny we ordered for BBQ chicken pizza which was overloaded with cheeeeeese 😍 best pizza ever next chicken lasagne it tasted good and a cocktail sangria with cut fruits and finally double layered chocolate cake not so wow we asked for chocolate cheese but it was not available being a signature of them I was dissappointed overall a very good food for the day.
The place is great.i chose the cafe lounge outdoor seating.yellow lights wooden tables and plants give a wonderful decor to the place.great to hangout with friends .ordered the coconut punch.it was very sweet couldnt drinkit completely.basa fish and chips were a delight.the fish was a little oily.the sauce was great.the chicken pakora was delicious too. The sesame prawns were sweet and had depths of chinese flaavour.finally ordered home made kulfi..the menu could be more refined .the service was great.

This place is one of the places I adore. The snooker is a great time pass for the people who go there. And thala or rajini fans can have a great view of his photos and all there. Food is good too. Over all its superb.
The customer service is extremely good. This place is fairly new in this locality and we really find it to be one of the best eateries here in mogappair. The ambiance is very good and the food tastes good as well. The pizza crust is almost perfect and is worth a try.
Madras Diner is located in nolambur. The place has got a great ambience, Let it be the outdoor seating or the indoor. We had opted for set menu as we were large in number. In starters we had Bhuna Chicken Wings, Singapore Chilli Fish, Chicken Chukka, Chilly Fries, Babycorn Kurkure and Panner Tikka.
All the starters were killer. Some found babycorn uncooked which was their style of cooking. Apart from our set menu we ordered our fav Tawa Prawns.
For soup they served us murgh shorba which was perfect in spice and taste. We were almost full on this, but still made way for Main course which had amazing Briyani and konaseema chicken curry. Also had steam rice and goan fish curry. Veg had Noodles - Manchurian and Roti - Paneer butter masala and dal makhani. Deserts we had the illaneer paaiyasam, gulab jamun and Brownie. Ilaneer paaiyasm is their signature dish. Special thanks to Mr. Madhan (Chef) for taking care of the menu and Mr. German who attended our table with smile and love.
Limited items to select from menu pretty ok kindoff ambience and spread across continental, Chinese, north indian varieties overall a bit expensive but ok for one visit

The prawn sizzler with naan and dal makhani was filling and tasty.. and so was the mutton biryani!! Spicy with less oil and a decent amount of pieces, just the way we like!!
The ambience is not too wow!! and the tables are pretty cramped but definitely a nice place to have a meal...
A nice place to have food with a small group of friends.. The ambience is really good and the staff are friendly. You have a choice of seating. There are many books and board games available as well. There is a selfie booth too. Fun part. And then there is a pool table too. The food is good. We ordered a pizza, egg fried rice with burnt garlic, masala also sandwich, berry blast mocktail and cold coffee. The pizza was good. Could have been more cheesier and have more toppings. The fried rice was really good and tummy filling. Masala aloo sandwich was okayish. The mocktail was amazing. Loved it totally. So was the cold coffee.
Will surely visit again.

Good food, service, and a decent ambience. Nothing romantic or nice city view from this place. It is on a congested Nolambur Main Road. Outdoor seating is not recommended. Cafe has a decent continental fare.

Went for dinner on a weekend.
Ambience - Really well maintained and is spacious not much crowded.
Food - Chicken platter (perfectly cooked chicken with really good flavours) fried rice and noodles were great. You can try any dish from the menu.
Price - Decent price for the tast and the quality of food they provide.
The restaurant is environmental friendly that's main plus also the food taste isn't compromised here.
We had ordered below dishes
1. Chicken sizzler - they gave us three varieties of chicken kebabs but not with any more add ons. The pieces were succulent and yummy.
2. Chicken kothu parotta - They didn't give a touch which every local eatery gives you but it is definitely must try.
Had Dinner on Christmas night. Awesome Food and Customer service was excellent. Mr. Jack, served us very well. He was so polite and professional. The management have arranged for magic show to keep us occupied while waiting for food to be served. Dragon Chicken was so good. Please keep up you work team .
I had a good dine in experience for Lunch on a weekend. The Ambience was Really well maintained and is spacious with lighting to match the atmosphere.
The flavour of the food was really amazing, the quality and quantity of it was quite enough for sharing. We have so many food varieties to choose from, in which we had a Chicken platter, kothu paratta and chicken fried rice. The service is super friendly and they are available at your call. This is definitely a value for money restaurant and the prices weren't that high too. They have an eco-friendly environment inside the restaurant.
They served food with neat quality and taste, also so friendly as I asked my cousin if we were able eat all the ordered dishes, he said "you can skip this others will be enough for you two" , so we didn't waste any food and saved money.
Must try restaurant! Ambience was simple, they get a magician to entertain until the food arrives.
The entire meal was amazing, especially the Achari fish tikka, every dish we placed didn't fail to impress.

Tastes good. Eco friendly pro max as the sauces got served in their own green plates which was new to me. Overall a good dining experience. Only drawback was I wasn’t served any water neither there was any bottle on the table. !!!
Always Delicious and satisfying meal fro Madras Diner. We love the Bakery as well. They have taken few customised order of cakes during bdays and have delivered beyond my expectation, unbelievable skill and staff are friendly and dutiful. Have been a customer for past 5 yrs would recommend families and friends have a taste of it atleast once. You will definitely be addicted to there preparation.

In my personal experience, the only negative thing I faced is the pace at which the food were served. We had a 3 course meal and it was all served under 25 minutes. It was too much to handle and we had to eat in a hurry. We usually spend 70 to 90 minutes on average for dinner as a group. But that day we took only 40 minutes and the feel of group outing and dinner was shortened by their speed.
But with all that said, it is a great place to dine in.
The quality never changed... Infact it got increased... Tasty food, value for money... The supplies are in one time use organic cutlery. Which is more helpful especially during this COVID time...
It was my birthday and we stepped in at almost the last hour of the day of the restaurant. Mr. Pazhani the waiter was so patient in listening to our orders and brining them to us. Had a pleasant experience dining here. Food was so tasty and ambience was good too. I would surely recommend this place. Happy dining. 😃
It is a very authentic restaurant, The atmosphere is very great indeed. Go green, so plates and foods will be served on plaintiff plates, wooden spoons and stuff are used mostly. It's good to be on occasion with family n friends there. A well deserved spot, kids also will enjoy it. Selfie place and open hut space for dining on the terrace. Good overall.

Platters also tasted good. Best thing is they use eco friendly plates and cups. You can try this restaurant for the good food and ambience. No parking facility.
The food was good, plenty of variety in the menu, the chicken dishes tasted good. Don't recommend the ice cream, it had chunks of ice in it.
