Kickstarted a breezy cool evening by ordering hot hot sweet corn soup, Roti and mushroom paneer masala side dish.
Mushroom Paneer masala was toooo good and was awesome to have hot. Masala was blended well with mushroom and sauted Paneer.

We have ordered egg Biriyani, chicken fried rice and grill chicken. First they gave kesari. Biriyani and fried rice tastes awesome. Grill taste could better. Biriyani quantity is good with two eggs. Price is affordable only. Parking and ambiance was okay.
We order barbeque and fish finger in online....the belarbeque taste was super and spicy ....the mayonaise also good quantity and super taste...

Yumm yumm yummy yummier yummiest. Thats the progress that happens when you have one bite after another. I’ve been to almost all of their branches and I’m able to experience the same taste everywhere. Whenever I have a get-together at my house you can see 2 buckets of Rahman Biryani on the table.
I grabbed their chicken biryani with sweet in Uber offer for 115 bugs. Very Good quantity for the price. A very Suttle and delicious biryani😋 without too much masala . The sweet(kesari) was okay . Overall a good deal and good food.

The BEST place if you are a briyani lover. They serve really nice briyani. The quantity is too heavy that one briyani can be taken by 2 easily. Chicken tandoori was so soft. Fish finger was excellent. It was too tender and juicy inside whereas very crispy outside, perfect with mayo.
We ordered Rahmann special chicken briyani, it was top of the world. Too much of cashew gave rich look and tasted amazing. The sidedish which they give is brinjal gravy and raitha. It was excellent combo for the briyani. I became addicted to the briyani. Wanting to go again. The price is really affordable and worth for the quality and quantity. The reason for cutting 1star is for the ambience and the service. Ambience is not that great. Service is bit bad. You will have to wait for such a long time for them to take your order itself. Overall nice food.
Went for team lunch, location is good. Not great ambience and it's fully crowded.
We order 7 Biriyani and 2 starters, but they made us wait till we ran out of energy, almost waited for an hour to eat. service is not great but taste and price is ok.

Have less stardom among biriyanies in Chennai. And I really don't know why. Anyone who have had biriyani from here at least once would agree with me. I always order their special biriyani. The quantity is so huge for one person to finish. Tastes amazing also.

Mutton biryani: Nice aromatic smell you get when you open it. Mutton meat was chewy and fills your tummy when you finish it 😋 You will get sweet along with this.
BBQ chicken: Perfectly fine with the chicken. Nicely done ✌️

Rahman Biriryani finds itself comfortably located in a prime location near DLF IT park, thereby pulling a good chunk of IT crowd. I have been to this place a couple of times. Despite not being peak hour time on both occasions, this place was packed with good crowd which was quite surprising.
I have heard kinda mixed reviews about this place and so didn't have much of expectation as such. During my last visit, I happened to try their Tandoori Chicken and Chicken Biriyani.
Food arrived to our table in five quick minutes! Service was definitely noteworthy. Tandoori Chicken was pretty good. Chunks of chicken were perfectly marinated in delicious spices and grilled to succulent perfection. Chicken biriyani arrived in style adorned with fried chicken pieces, more like chicken 65. Biriyani was pretty good but way too oily.
Service was prompt with fast refills of Onion raitha and brinjal gravy.
Rahman's biriyani is a place to satiate one's biriyani cravings in this locality having not much of choices around. Chances are there that you may not be disappointed.

This restaurant is best in term of cost and food taste. We had group dinner here and ordered most of the things from menu. All food was tasty.

Rahman is a well known name and provides good portions of Biriyani (whichever you want). However, it should concentrate more on attending its customers more closely.

DRY FRUIT FALOODA MINI:
Nuts, plums and other dry fruits made the game more exotic😍 --- the worst part in that was they could have used some quality ice cream 🍦 and green coloured liquid in a better way, which taste like _____ 😡

Interiors : Ground Floor has 2 seater & 4 Seater arrangements. On First Floor you have larger tables which could accommodate people coming in groups.
Special Mention : You get a complimentary kesari kind of sweet for the briyani you order and the quantity of briyani is huge.
Dishes Tasted :
1. Rahman's Special Chicken Briyani - Nice flavour but too oily.
2. Chicken Schezwan Fried Rice - Not that Spicy as expected.
3. Mutton Masala - Well cooked and Spicy.
4. Garlic Naan - Pretty good.
Cost - Average Range !
Over all - Good place to have Briyani at Average Price !
Opposite DLF, this place is crunched between too many Restuarants. It's simple and good. Do not go in with expectations of fine dining experience. Worth its money and the service is quite decent. My only problem was that it's a bit too hot.

We ordered full barbeque chicken and chicken biryani. I must say, quantity was good and more than enough more two of us. Biryani was not that much good but barbeque was awesome. Worth visiting it once.
Though there are many restaurants in and around DLF IT Park, Rahman Biriyani is one of a kind wherein you can enjoy dinner and luncheon any number of times without being bored. The quantity & quality are best and worth for the money being paid..... Just give a try ;)
Could say tat this places was the one which served me with the best chicken biriyani! It was an absolute bliss to have it. Ordered special chicken biriyani, which was so yummmm... The quantity a bit more than the normal biriyani and it had juicy fried chicken in it! Was totally in luv wit it... 😍 The ambience was also gud, they greet you wit a complement sweet n their service is also fast!
Overall.. It was the best biriyani I have had!

A major reason for visiting this place is that it is probably the only place in the locality where they dont grill the chicken on the roadside. Hence the only place where i prefer to have grilled chicken.
Otherwise its a pretty good restaurant with affordable prices and good service.
Never had a bad experience here from the time they started in Ramapuram. The biriyani is always good and for the price they charge the quantity is huge.
And for solo eaters n couples, those mini menus will help a lot where they can try 3or4 dishes for just 300bucks total.
And once we got take away of 8 biriyanis and 14 of my cricket teammates had it.

Team Lunch it was, so ordered bucket chicken Biriyani for 8-9 people.
Just decent it was.
Apart from that the Tandoori Starters, fish fingers was above average.
The highlight is their economical combo which was worth the price and as well as very filling, as for 10 members it was just 2200 /-.
Overall - If you wanna eat a decent biriyani in a very economical price for a large group of people, this is your go-to place !

Since I stay around DLF IT Park and the menu at Rahman Biriyani was much more than just biriyani, this was one of my favourites for dinner. The narrow long restaurant was crowded even as we entered the place. We were greeted well by the staff there and we sat at one of the tables. Admittedly, this was no top notch restaurant by any means, but we were startled when we were offered a glass of grape juice and a sweet. My first reaction was, “umm wrong order ma’am”. But then I realised it was sort of complimentary to anyone who comes in. That was a touch of class, certainly.
We look at the list of options available and finally decide to have a chilly fish and ¼ BBQ chicken (yes, they do have that option). Suprisingly the chicken piece was a decent sized one and came at 100/-. The chilly fish was also regular and was a good appetiser. Next we had a shot at the mini noodle and mini friedrice. Trust me when I say this – the mini is a misnomer. Ok so id doesn’t serve a full family but surely does fill one stomach enough post the starter. And it comes at Rs. 60.
The service too was something to take pride in, so much so that we sometimes felt there were more than needed staff in the crowded place. They were very attentive nonetheless. Talk about classy serve and economic food blending in well. Rich service, well complimented food and a price to make you smile again. A superb option if you’re around the area!

I have visited this hotel often with my friends. Briyani is good over here. Bucket briyani(but take away only) will be a best option if you have more than 9 people. The food is served with a sweet and briyani with coke(special of the hotel). A good hotel with affordable prices...Briyani lovers! Don't miss it.
I'll eat here while bunking colg after lunch .we often have chicken Briyani the taste was somewhere slightly similar to kalyana Briyani at George Town and same type of serving in banana leaf which is authentic and quiet good to hav food as greeny base leaf with sweet . Visited this spot post lockdown!! We had chicken Briyani and plan Briyani. Both served hot and the quantity of 1 Briyani is far enough for two people.Taste was awesome. Meat was fresh and well cooked. They followed perfect covid protocols. Food reached our table within 10 mins of wait time. Staffs are so friendly and keenly observing our needs. They also have full bucket and mini bucket Briyani as per our requirement. You can come here as a bunch and enjoy your lunch with those buckets. Must try Briyani in chennai. Highly recommended.
If you are around and wanted have a good big biriyani, you can try this place. I wouldn't say it is the best biriyani but it is above average and the quantity is good enough for two average eating people. I went with a friend and tried thier mutton biriyani, we couldn't finish it and had to pack most of it. Oh by the way they have good variety of sodas that go well with the biriyani.
Had kushka(served warm)would have been better if it bit more hot but the tast was good and had Grilled chicken it's also taste good. Thank you AR Rahman Biryani and next time please bread halwa also free of cost along with raita and brinjal gravy 😊😋👍❤️

Rahman biriyani is one of my favourite biriyani spot around chennai. They serve biryani in hot box which full fill 2people tummies as well. You can try out their biriyani for sure if your biriyani lover❤️. Their service was quick and ambience is like normal biriyani shop. They have chineese and north indian dishes as well
Nice place.. again it is famous for biriyani but it hasn't impressed me at all except biriyani i like all other dishes here... (My personal opinion) especially i like the taste of the BBQ here and a little pricy place... worth giving a try and many will definitely like it...
