The restaurant's must- try is the chicken lollipop which is a perfect blend of a sweet and spicy hot sauce that is garnished over the tender chicken pieces.
Wangs kitchen- The well known for chinese cuisine . Served me the best chinese dishes when I dropped in from soup to the final dessert I totally loved the food though the ambience was basic the food was yumm there
Wangs Kitchen is known for their Asian cusine which is predominantly Chinese. Went there for lunch and the ambience is subtle and authentic Chinese.
The Manchow chicken soup was good with crispy noodles on top. For starters we ordered quite a few. The volcano prawns and phuket fish are a must try. Both tasted really good. The kung pao chicken was yummy too.
The Five jewel mixed rice was so colourful and tasted great at the same time. The Singapore chilli fish went well with the rice.
For dessert, the choco lava and brownie with ice cream was mouthwatering. The fried ice-cream and banana wontons were good too.
The newly introduced bao was great.
Overall a very good place for Chinese cusine.

I have heard a lot about this brand in chennai. Today,finally i placed an order. My Bengali roomie (being chinese lover) likes Hakka Noodles, so we ordered Hakka today. It was really good , although I'm being from delhi like it more spicy but the taste was really good. I miss momos sauce here.

There are more than 25 wangs outlets in Chennai and this is the first time I am going to wangs ever. Wangs Kitchen is place where one can get authentic Chinese food. Went here to their adyar outlet with my friends for dinner. The place is a very calm and peaceful. The Chinese people generally play a very melodious song in the background to maintain a peaceful environment while eating.
Moving on to the food, tried a lot of stuff over here. I first started with the soup, manchow soup, it was a very flavourful soup, there were a lot of veggies in the soup. I could sense the ginger and other elements which gave a strong impression on my tongue. It was a good start to the meal. Next was veg Momos, never had momos, so this is the first time I am trying one, a nice rice flour outer covering with the veg mix inside. I had it along with a spicy souse, it was fine. Then was the dragon style chicken, basically shredded chicken tossed and cooked in authentic Chinese sauce. The chicken was soft and tender. I liked it. Next was chicken lollypops is one of the few best sellers of wangs kitchen. I really loved this one, the fried chicken tossed in tangy sauce and served to us. It was saucy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I loved this one. Last but not the least, the Chicken Baos were the last of the starters, the chicken was shredded and cooked in sauce and placed inside a bao and a few sauces and mayo was added to it. First time experience, I felt it a little blank but my friends are really found of it.
Now to talk about the main course, we had schezwan friend rice, wangs special chicken noodles and kung pao sauce dragon. The rice had a mix of prawns and chicken with a lot of veggies, it was a little spicy though. The noodles was my all-time favourite. It had been my favourite where ever I go in Chennai. This chicken noodles was really good. It had huge quantities of vegetables in it. It was very delicious, I had this along with kung pao sauce, it was also very good. This both was a perfect combination.
I tired a couple of juices and a few desserts. Tired the fried ice cream over here, this is a very rare dish where you won’t get it anywhere, basically the vanilla ice cream is fried and served. So when you put it into your mouth, you will get a crunchy feel and then suddenly it changes to vanilla ice crea. The ice cream had a bit of coconut smell which my body was not able to accept. That was not my kind of a taste. The brownie and vanilla ice cream was an all time favourite. I just loved it.
Overall, the place is really good and peaceful. If you have a taste towards Chinese food then this could be an ideal spot for you. This place has one of the real taste of Chinese in it’s kitchen. I would rate it 4/5[ food, ambiance, service, taste]

The restaurant is easily accessible as it is located on the main road. Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and Mr. Ashwin, who was serving me and my friends was very polite.
So let me tell you how my experience was from the start. The lights are dim and adjusted in such a way that it doesnt strain your eyes and you can see your food pretty well. The place is very clean and well maintained. Music plays in the background adding up to the positive vibe.
The menu is filled with authentic chinese dishes and desserts and normal drinks like lemonade and stuff.
Lets get on with what I had.
First, i had the manchow soup. It costs rs. 155 per bowl. It was good. Loved the amount of veggies and chicken and the fried noodles on top made it better. A good to go starter i should say.
Then, I had dragon style chicken which was rs. 345 per plate. They made it really well. Loved the sauce and the texture of the chicken. It was a simple and nice dish.
Next was chicken lollipop that was priced rs. 185 for 4 pieces. The sweet sauce on top got me pretty surprised with the first bite. It was slightly over cooked as i could taste the burnt edges. Personally, I would rate it average.
Chicken momos was the next on the plate and it was priced rs. 225 for 6 pieces. It was well steamed, and came in with 2 sauces; sweet and spicy. Loved eating them. Definitely recommended for momo lovers.
Next was mixed schezwan rice, priced rs.285. I had ordered the prawns and chicken rice. It disappointed me as the flavour of pepper was too dominant in it. It was well cooked and served but i didnt really like the flavour it released in my mouth.
With the rice we had ordered the chicken kung pao sauce worth rs. 335. The thickness and sweet taste was too much for my taste buds. I felt weird eating it. The chicken was well cooked and tasted fine. I just didnt like the flavour and thickness.
Then came the wang's special mixed noodles, priced rs 255. It was classic noodles with veggies, prawns and chicken. All the things were perfectly cooked and had the authentic taste. Totally recommended.
For desserts I had chocolate brownies with vanilla ice-cream (rs 125) and fried ice cream (rs 185). Brownie was normal and nice. Ice cream improved the taste. The fried icecream was good as well. The coconut flavour was nice and completely unique taste dripped out from it.
This was an amazing experience at an authentic chinese restaurant. Place is recommended for authentic chinese lovers and for a peaceful meal.
value for money. big bowl full of tasty hot n sour chicken soup with lots of chicken, mushrooms n veggies in it. and a brownie as a complimentary dessert. All this just in Rs.149!! I just loved it!!
Momos is the signature dish here. Noodles and rice are equally good. Schezwan chicken rice is 'must try'. But the normal fried rice is not worth it as it is just like a normal boiled rice with very few veggies and chicken/egg/prawns. Rest everything is good.
Although the restaurant make you feel that it serves authentic Chinese cuisine, there is definitely a different taste specific to Wang's. Many will like it. P.S The non veg menu is better than the veg menu.
My first Chinese food chakana was Wang's kitchen and I guess I ordered the right food to eat and have always enjoyed their dishes but I do find their fried rice to be too dry,,,maybe improve on that.
Regular to Wang's adyar my favorite is chicken lolly pop and American chopsuey both are my loved dishes, whenever I am here I will order only this two.

When talking about Chinese food, this place is too good. Its not too oily or too dry or too spicy. It's just got the apt taste. The place is good for a fine dining. A sure place to visit if you happen to wangs kitchen adyar.
Excellent food. Very good service by Mr. Vanlalthang. Very good ambiance. They received us very well even when we reached there at 10.30 pm. Very happy with this outlet.

As the name suggests, this place is only good for Chinese food items, If you are planning to have any other cuisine apart from Chinese, you can give this place a pass, Chinese food is however tasty and spicy enough to make us happy, I am not sure if this place has parking, just check before driving own car to this place. Might find it difficult if you ain't finding parking spot outside.
Good food. My favorite is egg fried rice and Hong Kong noodles. They taste awesome. Reasonably priced for the size. Good place for family.
Quality food. Good rates. Top class variety. Everything you expect from a Chinese styled restaurant. Located at the heart of Adyar, this place maybe little difficult to find, but it's worth the find. The waiters need to more trained, and the ambiance needs to more bright and lively, other than that it's a place for perfect Chinese delicacy in pocket friendly rates.

Had gone for Wangs kitchen by Adyar. There was a person from north east of India... Who came in for taking the order.... He was very friendly and I told him that I open to variety in food style... and I asked him for his suggestion and he recommended me a chill dry chicken rice.... which was really amazing.. and along with it ... I choice to have chilli chicken... Enjoyed the dinner ..... was indeed a great place to be in for dinner with family
Quantity is huge ! Service can be better ! Slow place - in terms of service! So if you don't mind spending money but are willing to while away time, come here! Food is good
