The English breakfast is all time favorite and their burger, waffles are just so freshly baked and so good. I tend to travel 15 kms just for their breakfast menu and their salads are so refreshing as always and healthy too.

Cafe cake bee is a very cute place. I ordered the carbonara pasta, it was a but tasteless. The burger was tasty, but could've been more or saucier. The hot chocolate cake is to die for. The cake is spongy and it melts in your mouth because of the hot chocolate.

A very quaint and subtle space, that sits between houses. This place has been modelled and designed as an adaptive reuse of a beautiful bungalow.
The pastel colours, the doors and windows and definitely, the food, appeals to your senses like no other.
Having tried almost everything on the vegetarian menu, I can safely say that the food here is exceptional for the price you pay. It's delicious.
Although, the service is a tad bit slow, and the space could feel a little alienating due to its design.

This is one of those places that Iād recommend to everyone whoās looking to have a fun & delicious meal with some friends or family. The ambience is pretty with ample seating space with both indoor and outdoor seating. I went here on a weekday with some friends so prior table booking wasnāt needed. Might be a different scenario on weekends though. The menu is simple and well curated. I loved that they didnāt complicate the dishes with all kinds of ingredients like some places do just to make them sound exotic. The food once it arrived on the table did not disappoint! Goes to show that their chefs know exactly what a dish needs to make it appealing both visually and taste wise. The service was pretty quick considering the amount of food we had ordered! Usually we eat just fries. But here on the plate, it's fries with chicken. A plate full of fries which is first topped with Indian flavored chicken which is really satisfying and then topped with cheese makhani sauce which gives a creamy taste to these fries.

Cafe CakeBee is a cafe that one would love if they're into calming environment where one can enjoy the company of food and the friends they go with very well. The Ambience of the cafe was good, it makes you want to spend more time inside the restaurant. The price was a little costly but it was totally worth it for the food that they serve.
We orders a cheese Corbet pouch for starters and the paneer tikka pizza. The pizza looked so good even looking at it. We couldn't wait to taste the pizza immediately after it was served. It's been two days since I tasted the pizza, but I could still feel the pizza in my taste budsš§”. It was one of the best pizzas in the town. If you are a pizza lover, you should definitely visit this place.
For dessert, we ordered baklava with ice cream. I've always wanted to taste baklava but couldn't find it anywhere before. I had high hopes on the taste of baklava and CakeBee didn't disappoint me. It was very very goood. We couldn't eat it but couldn't stop eating it either, because I knew I'd regret it later for not eating it when I could have.
I'm planning on visiting this place every now and then so that I can taste every dish on their menu. So visit this cafe if you want to eat the tastiest of the tastiest foods :)
Awesome place to have good English breakfast and peaceful ambience. Karthik is very friendly and welcomes us with a smile every time we come in early. The pesto tartine sandwich, grilled chicken sandwich and the eggs Benedict is our favourite to name a few. Must visit place to have a delicious meal with the ones you love. Place is A.

Really loved the place. Very very warm staff who seemed genuinely happy to have us there. We ordered a mushroom soup which was really creamy and thick and delicious. Great thing to have after a long tiring day or onn a rainy day. The pastas were also really good. We were recommended a Berry-based dessert by the staff which was new and not on the menu which really stole the show. Best thing I've had in the longest time. Yeah it's great fun, give it a try.
The food was good as well as nice quantity. Lovely place chill for Sunday brunch.

CafƩ CakeBee is a nice cozy play that's just waiting for you to hog till you drop. This place has great food that is very kind to your wallet, especially if you have Zomato Gold.
For Starters, we ordered Hot Shot Bites and Chicken Pop and a regular Cappuccino. While the Hot Shot Bites lacked a bit in quantity, the Chicken Pop more than made up. The Chicken Pop is a must have!
For Main Course, we ordered the Tenderloin steak and the Chicken Tikka Pizza.
The Tenderloin is hands the best beef steak I've ever eaten. It was cooked to perfection and was incredibly juicy and succulent. The side-sauce was amazing too!
The pizza was brilliant too! A great crust, amazing sauces made for a very tasty pizza!
At the end of the meal, you don't have to worry much, 'cause the bill is not going to give you a heart attack.
Definitely coming here again to hog away to glory!

Always had wanted to try the hyped hot chocolate cake and I finally did.Its pure bliss for someone who loves thick chocolatey hot chocolates ,so satisfying.I also loved their baklava with icecream ,the baklava was fresh unlike some other places I tried.Also tried the mezze platter and the beef chilli fries which were nice.
Not my first visit here but definitely a pleasant one. It's a decent bistro to go to with friends. Family too, if they're tolerant of the loud, young crowd that usually flocks the place.

Been here many times and itās a great fallback option when you feel gloomy and need to go to a nice place to perk up.
Beautiful ambience, service varies but overall good. Very tasty food! Iāve tried almost every veg dish here and none have been disappointing. I would skip on desserts if youāre a vegan.
My recommendations are the Veg Lasagna, the white wine Ravioli, the Mushroom & Cream sauce pasta and the Mushroom cappuccino soup!
Came here for breakfast. We ordered Chia seed pudding, English breakfast, veggie bowl, Nutella pancake, waffles and french toast.
Our favorites were the delicious french toast and the veggie bowl. French toast was the right amount of sweet and very soft! Waffles were a little dry, you can skip those.
The service was a little slow, but we had plenty of time. And by slow I mean they took time to bring the food, otherwise very polite and smiling staff!

Cake Cakebee is a place I have been visiting quite often ever since it opened. I love the place for a lot of reasons. First and the major reason is for my love for HOT Chocolate ā¤ļø
But when I visited them recently I did not find the same consistency and taste which quite disappointed me.
Also the place is so beautiful and calm that I visit them often to just be in peace. I love the seating and the cushions to be specific. They also have outdoor seating. Gives one a cozy and comfortable feel. The service is always delayed but I guess most if us go to the place to spend time so that factor has not really bothered me so far.
So every time I visit the place my constant order would be the hot chocolate. Apart from that I recently tried their breakfast menu the English breakfast and the morning breakfast with sausage add on. I pretty much loved the breakfast. It was a complete , filling meal. Loved the sausage ā¤ļø
Loved the chicken satay and the chicken lasagna was just out if the world. Super cheesy and tasty. I was not quite impressed with their dessert options.
Overall this is a place I would love to go back any day. I have heard so much about their Mac and cheese and definitely will visit them soon just for the Mac and cheese.

Cozy aesthetic place with amazing food!
I went there for an early breakfast. My friend and I ordered the Morning perfect and the English breakfast which comes along with a beverage.
What I really liked about this place was their outdoor seatings surrounded by beautiful plants and their very rustic decor and crockery. Perfect place for a breakfast date!
(Also this place is very famous for their hot chocolate so don't miss out on that!)

A foodie friend and I were in a mood for Western breakfast.Ā Remembered seeing it in Cafe CakeBeeās menu, long ago.Ā Since it is a place I havenāt visited, we decided to try. Located in a road off TTK Road, it is quite in the center of the city.Ā We didnāt have any problems locating it.Ā It was an independent villa converted into a restaurant.Ā We quickly spotted the outdoor seating and chose to sit there.Ā The weather was quite pleasant and windy, so it was good.
Words cannot describe how much I love this cafe for it's ambience and food. I've been drawn back here so many times and the food has tasted excellent consistent each time. The hot chocolate steals the show away from all other hot chocolates in all of Chennai. Followed by their brownie with caramel ice cream, then comes the pizzas, pastas, pancakes, all of it. This old house turned cafe gives such homely vibes and their service compliments with courteous staff. The one and only recommendation I would give is for the drinks, like cold coffee, needs a bit of work because it tasted more like a frappe.
This is the perfect spot for some quiet time. It's very aesthetic and ambient, the food and service is good. I'd definitely recommend their English Breakfast, it was cooked precisely. Definitely has potential if they up the service game which is the only reason why I've given them 4 instead 5 stars. Though it's quite the distance for me, it's worth the visit. #powertoyou

This is one of the best cafes I have been to in Chennai. Their hot dhofokate is really yummy and milky. Cakes are very rich, their 7 layered chocolate cake is a must try.
The food was so great...like so good!! But find it funny or what..we really really loved the iced tea!! I loved the mixed meat pizza...and the bacon pasta was to die for.we had the most famous 7 layers cake...which was so so so chocolate!!! Yum yum yum...!!!!!!
The place looked good..with a vintage touch and even the Sevice was bad...they we're a little slow..but we were in no hurry so we didn't mind it so much..

Breakfast was delicious! Had the French Omelette with sausages and the English breakfast and also a hazelnut cheese cake. I must say I really loved the Omelette and toast with butter. It was filling and had an amazing, creamy, buttery flavour. Breakfast can be shared by two. Would totally vouch for it. Hazelnut cheesecake was absolutely scrumptious! Service was fairly good. The ambience could be improved. But I'm not complaining as the food made up for everything else. The prices are reasonable compared to many other cafes. Cost for two (entree, main course and dessert) would be 800-1000. I'm totally going back!

Had a lovely experience here. Unexpectedly stumbled upon this place when we were looking for breakfast.
Service was excellent. We were served by Valiyaperumal and he was very polite, courteous, friendly and very helpful.
We had their breakfast boards, Nutella waffle, Shashuka.
The breakfast boards although looked small, was enough for a person.
The Shashuka although didn't look like it usually does, it tasted very good.
Nutella waffles definitely needed improvement. The waffle was very dense.
Altogether was happy with the experience. Quiet simple place. And very good service.
Cafe Cakebee - I can rate this place as one of the best cafes in chennai ! They have great ambience ( outdoor seating also available) and wonderful food menu. I really enjoyed my visit here. You can just visit them for their dessert alone. The 7 layer chocolate cake, New York cheese cake ( must try) was the āBestā i had in recent years! Falafel and Fish & chips were delicious as well. I would definitely visit them again to try their hot chocolate and chocolate cake.

Garlic bread, chicken sambusa, chicken club sandwich, garlic roasted chicken mac and chees pasta. Out of all these, the chicken sambusa was just meh and didnāt feel like it was worth 280INR. Others tasted fine to me. Boy! The pasta. Literally the best pasta Iāve ever had. That just tasted so well and was super thick. Oh and hey, it came with garlic bread, of course it costed 480INR. But yes. It was good. Would recommend.

Lovely service. Though the overall vibes were good, the interiors were slightly worn out and outdated. Wonderful staff. They patiently waited for us to decide what we wanted. The food was toothsome. Of all the dishes I tried, the chicken tikka pizza has my heart. It was delectable and the chicken was succulent. The fries were okay. The chicken sambusa was basically just chicken samosa with a bland chicken filling. Wasn't really a fan of it. Both the desserts were moreish! Very tasty. The lemon iced tea was toooo sweet for my liking. Must visit place for the yummy food and awesome service. Looking forward to visiting them again soon.

So this is my second visit to this restaurant and boy, wasn't it worth it. Since I didn't get to try many dishes the first time, I wanted to explore the menu so I made sure I ordered all the famous dishes. The English breakfast was not the best, but really good in its own way. Mushroom cappuccino is an acquired taste but we really loved it. Chicken cream soup is a must try. The starters were chilli beef, fish fingers and chilli garlic wings. Nothing extraordinary but they were delicious. For mains, we ordered chicken tikka pizza, wow it was one of the best pizzas. Absolutely awesome. The spaghetti pasta was too good and the same goes for fish and chips and grilled chicken. Cauliflower steak was a standout, all mention to the harissa greens which accompanies it. The garlic bread was also really good. However, the star was always the desserts. New York cheesecake, hazelnut cheese cake, 7layer chocolate cake and hot chocolate cake. Hazelnut cheese cake was the standout for everyone and was absolutely gorgeous. Newyork cheesecake is one of the best versions in Chennai. Overall, loved the food and service. We just wished the entire menu was available, but there were many things which weren't.

The cafe is tucked away from the busy roads, hence a quiet ambience, good for reading or working.

Amazing spot to hang out with ur frnds and partner... I googled good places for hot chocolate in chennai and found this place and it sure did not disappoint!! The hot chocolate was jus amazing.. Right temperature right consistency and the right amount of sweetness... It was creamy and rich.. So was the Mocha... The Caesars salad was great in flavor and dressing... The shop is very elegantly decorated and is cozy.. Well maintained tables and the staff are polite.. They hav a patio set up outside as well as seating area upstairs... Did not get to try the pastries but I'm sure it's as good as the food!! Overall a great experience!!
Quaint little cafe done up in pastel colours. The hot chocolate is the best here, rather thick and luscious. The cake was good enough, the chicken quiche was okay. The garlic bun fooled us, it was just a light dabbing of garlic butter on top, it's just a plain bun inside. The chocolate croissant was decent enough. But the place is rather cute, with plants and pretty lights.

Their food is also very good, I have been here many times but recently I come here for desserts! The deserts over here are limited but awesome! Their hot chocolate cake is the best!
