Easily the best masala chai in Madras. I pass this way, my feet drags me inside the place and I automatically order a masala chai. Bliss! Enna oru taste.....a great blend of spices, that gently pervades your senses and instill a feeling of comfort,like a loving grandmother's hug. Sigh...The right consistency of milk, the perfect amount of sugar, flavour to die for. A cup of happiness. Ore oru kurai, their Besant Nagar outlet is inconsistent. Adhe konjam paathukonga.

Ordered one masala chai and panner puff.. Chai was better than the normal tea shop.. Panner puff was not that geat.. Not that bad too.. The price was nominal.. They ll maintain less sugar in chai and provide sugar packets.. So that you can add more if needed

Love the chai here ! They have sooo many varieties of chai . From Dum to masala and ginger tea ... even tea without milk such as lemon tea , ginger lemon, Sulaimani and tulsi , hibiscus and green tea are all available ! They have small quick bites and maggi too ! My favourite is ginger tea 😊

It's easy to get good coffee ... but getting good chai is difficult. Thank heavens for chai kings. Definitely one of the best chai places around. The actual space ( this location) could be a little cleaner.... definitely a go to place if you love your chai!
I ordered Chai for delivery to my office. The Chai was wonderfully packed and was super hot. The taste was great as well. The quantity provided is sufficient. The brownie that I ordered along with the Chai was packed decently too. The delivery was prompt and on time.
The 3.5 is only because of the delivery boys. They need to follow delivery instruction, be more polite and well-mannered. They are representatives of the eatery.
Otherwise, a great place for Chai-lovers!

Best place to have tea and samosa in the town. Tried the chocolate milk shake and samosa which is definitely a weird combination but I dig it. These guys have one of the best Chai in Chennai and they are quick in delivering too. Only con with this place is that they could have been a bit a bigger in space as the outlet can only hold 10 people to maximum at the same time. The price is also very competitive.

Chai. One of the simplest joys in life. There's nothing more satisfying than a strong cup of tea on a rainy day. A perfect remedy for a bad headache and simply a part of our every day, for most people- the beginning of it.
Chai kings is the perfect place for a quality cup of tea and a snack. 2/6 outlets are super close to my place and I frequent them many times. Why? Three words. Strong Ginger Tea. I am a huge fan of the ginger tea and I love how strong they make it, especially in this particular branch. I don't need any snack along with it and at times I've not stopped with one glass. Suleimani tea is another favourite of mine. It's my choice when I don't feel like having anything milk-based. Masala tea is strong and well-flavoured. I've never gotten around to trying much of their drinks because I always settle for either Ginger or Suleimani. Their cold beverages menu also looks quite inviting. Perhaps, once I am a tad bit bored of their Ginger tea(unlikely), I'd try some of those.
Snacks: I've tried a bunch of stuff
1. Maggi: 35 bucks and you have yourself a simple but nice maggi.
2. Paneer puff: A bit oily but still tastes good, nonetheless.
3. Walnut bread: It was nice too. And reasonably priced.
4. Podi idlies: Oh this! I absolutely love them. They have two podi: karavupillai and molaga. Didn't get a chance to try the former but the latter was a sure winner. 26/-
Their teas are around 20 bucks for a regular cup and I find that immensely affordable. For some, it might also be a daily ritual. They also pack tea for you in the cutest cardboard boxes that serves 5. There's not much to look at in terms on ambience and it's a small area but who cares, their tea made this coffee lover lean a little bit closer to being a Chai person.
As it is located very near to my place we visit the outlet very often... M a coffee lover..🐸 but their tea☕ is out of the world.. the milkshakes are quite decent and so is their Maggi 🍜.. special mention about the new banana cake 🍰 they have introduced.. melts in mouth and leaves you craving for more.. n at affordable prices.. wish someone would open a coffee outlet like this soon..🎈
I had tea once in this shop.. tea is above average and I would appreciate if they clean the table regularly atleast when customers having their chai .. apart from that i like the most is the tea leaves smell that comes all over the shop..

I Strongly recommend this place for chai lovers !!! Have tried a wide varieties of tea here everything is top notch !!!! The varieties of Maggie served are good too . Only disappointing thing is the veg puff which was extremely bad and should be definitely missed !!!!
Never been a big fan of tea. But boy oh boy did these guys change my whole perception on it. Ordered their Masala Chai flask and their chilly cheese Maggi.
The Masala Chai they offer is hands down the best Masala Chai I've ever come across till date. Perfect blend of tea with milk and perfect for the monsoon. (I despise tea so you can imagine)
Their chilly cheese Maggi, extremely affordable, loaded with chilly flakes, not very cheesy though. Still pretty decent for the prices offered.
5*s for their packaging.
Bonus : I ordered their chocolate shake once but they accidentally sent strawberry, nonetheless, pretty insane!

Once I tried the ginger chai here,which made me to visit often.Chai from Chai Kings soothes mind from hectic day and worst traffic.Chats and brownies also had gud taste.

Just the place that I so wanted in Chennai. I have 2 around my home each on either side just 1 km away. I have tasted the Dum, Masala, Sulaimani and Tulsi. I love the Sulaimani cos of its strong taste. They also have snacks like Samosa and Puff and another favorite of mine which is Maggi though I have never tasted either of them.
Will add 5 rating if they have a few chairs and some parking facility.
Masala tea is really a blast. Chai and samosa can never go wrong. Must try for non-tea lovers.Also it happens to be next to my hotel. The guy at counter is great too! Definitely coming back to try lemon tea.

Somehow I happened to pass by the poonamalle high road a lot for the past couple months and that’s when I spotted this joint. Every single time I was driving through this road I wanted to check out the tea at this place and finally the day came. And parking will definitely be an issue if your dropping here for a cup of tea during peak hours but two-wheelers needn’t worry much. Also the joint is very small that it shall accommodate 10 people at the max.; as well as this isn’t a sit-down place.
They have good number of tea varieties along with munchies like puff, cakes, maggi, etc. We dropped here for tea and decided to just have that; the order was Sugarless Classic and Ginger tea. You can choose your cup size from regular, medium and large. A medium cup of tea was perfect for me. Sugarless Classic was my partner’s order and he liked it; it’s your typical chai without sugar. The ginger tea was too good. They do know to rightly proportion the quantity of milk and tea masala.
We paid Rs. 60 INR for our chai and this place is definitely a good place for short eats and refreshment if you are passing by the high road.

I had only just one type of tea which s my all time favourite and it's ginger tea (hot tea) and thankfully they gave what they say and The title Chai Kings suit so well for this outlet .. I am already addicted to this and I will definitely buy many more teas ...
After a long day I went to chai kings regularly we use to order through swiggy daily but I outlet it happened so many days the flavour of tea is changed , Service wise is good egg puff is simply awesome.😀
The standard is stable. The tea is fine although the lemon may be sour at times. The samosa is not oily and can be comfortable. Good for a snack without stuffing up. You can get sugar free at request.
Amazing varieties of tea available here . Love their tulsi tea , now they have launched badam milk which is good but wouldn’t say great . Loved the tulsi tea the most still . Prices are decent and service is nice . Sad part that it’s open and no place to sit .

Nice shop for having some tea & snacks, had dis chilli cheese maggi the taste was good but it can be better, price is little bit higher of average but it worth having. Capacity of the tea consists of 3 types Regular, medium & large like burgers in McDonalds. Lol.
