It's a very small place in the phoenix mall, good one for casual snacking. I availed the dineout offer and it was a great deal.
Food :
Blueberry froyo - It was perfectly flavoured and can be customised.
I had garlic bread which was again a good one.
Pizza - I opted for BBQ cottage cheese pizza. It was perfectly cooked with lot of good cheese and paneer on the top with a thin crust. It comes in rectangular shape and a good quantity (sufficient for two)
Pasta - Penne birds eye chilli and cream. It's a white sauce pasta but a bit spicy in taste. It was perfect blend.

Perfect place for a quick recharge after hours for shopping. located at the right place which offers the visitors relief from the the crowd and noise. All writer's cafe have great food and so does this outlet. Would be very happy if cheesecake too was available here.
This is the best coffee shop on @phoenixmarketcitychennai. Their coffee and sandwiches are very good. The staff is polite abd tge service is quick.

The food here tastes like heaven. The BBQ cottage cheese pizza was so drool worthy and the chilli cheese fries oh my god, it's absolutely tasty. I love the food here❤️
Writer’s cafe is located at LG in phoenix . I made a visit there during my shopping break😋 My orders were pizza ,grilled chicken and two yummy red velvet shake and strawberry 😀 The pizza was thin and cheesy too !! Grilled chicken was yummy yum! My favourite part was my red velvet shake ! I didn’t expect it would be so yummy one of the best shakes I have ever had ! Do try it .

This cafe was in my list for so long that I could even imagine. I've been seeing posts of other food bloggers and people on their dishes and I was so eager to taste them. however I never really got time to visit them.
This morning me and my gf was at the phoenix mall for a tamil movie for the early morning 8 am show. After the movie we both were craving to have breakfast before we could go home. Surfing through the mall, we realised we have reached the exit and with no choice we had to leave. When I turned back, I was surprised to see this cafe. Immediately me and my mind decided to have something although it was not the right time.

A small place but the ambience is very good and the staffs have been really good. Margarita pizza,french fries and Red velvet was very good. Overall it was a nice experience and the price was also pocket friendly.
The place is at a very weird place and not easily visible but once you find then it’s always empty. The staff there is nice and great you properly. The food is not upto the standards of Writers cafe at other places but still ok if you are using Gold.

#heavenly_food being first time to writers cafe and seeing at their wide spread menu I was quite confused on what to order and there came a guy to help us out with the order so politely and his suggestion was jumbo pesto basically a chicken sandwich it was so good the grill chicken was so nicely made and add on to that we had a tea it was really great and will come back to explore more..
Small smiling joint in the basement.of.phinix mall. Prices are high. I am sharing 4 stat, because of the crew there, really smiling, helping.
I have been to this place several time I love the coffee and BBQ pizza (pesto) . I would like to ask everyone to visit this place very nice & friendly staff as well. Yesterday night by 9o'clock I have visited to the same place and the coffee made by a staff with white shirt has made me refreshed.

The place is small and located in basement of Phoenix market city. We managed to get a table immediately even though we went during weekend. Now coming to food,both the pizzas ordered were thin crust type. Cheese pizza was too cheesy and it felt as if I was eating only cheese. Margarita pizza and French fries were tasty and good. Overall,One of the good places for snack when you are tired of the same shops at foodcourt. Also, it is pocket friendly.

We were famished and this was the first eatery after exiting Palladium. Our orders were:
Chocolate cold coffee - Nothing exceptional, just a lot of coffee with little chocolate sauce. We expected it to have more of a chocolate flavor though.
Sloppy Joe sandwich - It was stuffed with meat and cheese, and very flavorful. Quantity was good for 1 person.
Penne Alfredo non veg pasta - usual Penne pasta with white sauce and chicken. Some herb condiments were added to up the taste. Portion size was a bit less for 1 person.
Yes, it was a bit on the expensive side for a Cafe. It was crowded too. But the food tasted good, especially because we were really hungry after skipping breakfast that morning. Expected more from the drink, so the 4 star. The staff were very kind helpful and overall we had a good experience here.
Visited this place last month. Ordered two types of pasta and chocolate coffee both are good. They have few book collection which might impress some people but not everyone. The only bad thing which we've experienced is the delay as there was only one person who needs to take care of counter as well as prepare dish.
It's quite decent and elegant.
Coming to food , I had greek pocket sandwich which was damn good and a coffee which was too good comparing to all other cafe. The flavour was really awesome. They have to look on their service , coz only one person is there to serve , bill and make those food . Other than service everything was nice .

One of the decent cafe inside the mall with not-so-much crowd. The staff were very courteous and the ambience is quite decent. The food was tasty nd reasonably priced. Our order was Pastas - Penne Alfredo with veggies, Penne Arabiata Chicken and Panner sandwich along with Classic Tea. Both the pastas were tasty and good. Sandwich was very yummy and the texture was crispy outside as well as soft inside. Overall a decent place to eat inside the mall, if you want to avoid crowd.Nithu Reddy

Writer's cafe is one of my favourite spots in the city to chill out and hang out. Therefore when they opened in Velachery inside the famous Phoenix mall, I was super excited. Therefore decided to have coffee here after a shopping trip to Phoenix!
Had the Cafe Mocha which is my usual always in Writer's cafe. Because I believe that they make the best Cafe Mocha in town. Unlike the one in Gopalapuram where coffee is served in ceramic mugs, here the coffee is served in a paper cup. Nevertheless it did the trick of refreshing my senses. As usual the coffee was amazing.
Am I going back? Totally!
After our movie at phnx! We decided to hav desserts so we randomly selected this place..!!
Jus tried their mousse..! Nothing else 4 stars for their delicious chocolate mousse ♥️

Having Been to the Gopalapuram Outlet, I thought it was a great idea to have my lunch here.
It's a new outlet, Very cute, Open cafe style, Loved their seating style, The staff were pretty nice :):)
Though the menu has limited dishes, I found the red sauce, White sauce pasta were pretty decent. We loved their paneer sandwich :):)
Paneer sandwich is a must try. :):)
I hope the menu will have much more dishes when I visit the next time.

A place of my liking. Open space inside Phoenix Mall. Nice food Continental, baked, pizzas available. Inexpensive but sweet. Footfalls on Saturday and Sunday are voluminous. Intellectual footfall is meticulous observation.

It's my all time favourite cafe. It serves the best food at an absolutely fair price.
Tried their Lamb Pepperoni Pizza and it was amazing. You are not going get such an amazing Pizza for 200 bucks from anywhere. Both Quality and Quantity was great.

Wanted to try pancake for a long time and found it in writers cafe. Took a long while to serve but worth the taste. Ordered banana and chocolate pancake which was yum !!!! A must try at writers cafe.
Not a cozy, private cafe where you can have some read. I see no books here like those in Taramani or Adyar or Gopalapuram. This is a normal mall-type cafe. Seatings are usually available as this is placed at the far end of the mall, Lower Ground floor. Still, I managed to read some chapters here without disturbance or noises around. Cappuccino is not bad compared to their other branches.
It's a place where you can sit.. Even if it gets crowded.. One just feels at ease sitting here and relishing that's on offer. And that.. I believe is the best environment a cafe can set. Writer's cafe at Taramani certainly does that and with that is does remian faithful to it's name.. One could really write beautiful pieces here.
This place has some delicious food to offer. Go with the pizzas, and in desserts, since I don't remember the name, try the black pastry with an M on it. You can also try the hot swiss chocolate.

Thin crust pizzas are really good. Contrary to the name, there are no books here. Located at less crowded side inside Phoenix market city, if you want to find some peace.
Good Cafe with Variety of tasty food options available. Light on the wallet. Nice ambiance but with crowded peak hours. Attached with Book shop from Higginbothams, this cafe casually attracts people to hangout with friends.
Their pastas are amazing especially the Mac and cheese and penne pasta. The pizzas are good but not great. The quantity of their drinks are less.
Amazing book collection they have got... Mangas to Indian aurthor chettan baghat . U can grab a book sip a cup of tea. Amazing it is 😍 . Best place for readers
