Hotel Khaja Empire is located on the poonamalee high road just before the natonal darbar junction...a pretty old and another famous place in the locality...The place has been recently renovated a bit..parking is almost zero thanks to the busy and the narrow road..The Dining area is Non A/C to seat around 30 odd ppl thats averagely maintained and clean..
The Service is very basic.they are kind and courteous though..waiting time too was on the lower side...ordered their famous wheat parottas along with paya masala, chicken chops and egg masala..The paya was over loaded with pepper and was astonishingly tasty..have heard many thing about this particular dish from my dad and it definitely was one of the best i have had..the gravy was thick and spicy..the consistency was great...The chicken chettinad were pretty decent too good meat pieces with decent gravy..and the egg masala was average...
Pricing was very reasonable and the food was good with the paya pepper masala being the star dish and a one thats worth trying in chennai....
One need to taste Tandoori chicken here and real taste of Vaniyambadi Biryani, ambience and service is good, newly renovated. No parking space for car.

So I take privilege to write a comment about their food and cooking area of their hotel.
Parking is not available at all, as it is located as busy main road near to Ripon building signal. They cook with experts frm vaniyambadi. Briyani was their best, if I feel,hungry or my mom not cooks at home. First thing to buy parotta as their chicken gravy will be good. Briyani sometimes they do bad 👎 many times excellent. 👍
They newly renovated this restaurant and looks are great now. Try out and taste the best briyani.

Just after cheering for Athletico de kolkata at the jawaharlal nehru stadium this would be the ideal place to sit and enjoy a heavy meal.
