A place to go with friends and have a quick bite! Their cakes and pastries are amazing, and I love their chaat menu. Do try their pizzas as well. It's quite good for the price you pay! A fun place to stop at and have a snack. The staff are very friendly and courteous as well.

Their cafe also has some amazing food.
Its a small place which can maximum house 15 ppl. On numerous occation, I have enjoyed their food and some of my favs are their cheese brocolli pasta with garlic bread and the hot brownie baked with icecream.

This has been my go to place for cakes especially if I needed eggless new. Their fresh cream ones are mind blowing. I haven’t tried out their savouries much so cannot comment on that.
One of the most underrated and unexplored places in Chennai. The first thing I like about this place is courteous staff and cold water they serve with the food. I usually visit this place to have some quick bites - paneer tikka and sugar doughnut. Price is very pocket-friendly.

I have been here many times and tried almost all the dishes on the menu. Neat ambience, air conditioned, friendly staff and yummy food would be the way to describe the place☺
A variety of puffs and probably the best in the city. Though pricey the quantity would be big and quality would be top notch justifying the price. Paneer tikka, paneer corn, chilly paneer, usual veg, paneer studel and almond, butter, chocolate croissants are available here.
Pizza is pricey but tastes good. But I like the pasta here better than the pizza. Try any pasta of your choice and it would taste good; it can be customised as per your choice for toppings and sauces and type of pasta as well.
Burgers are just okay; sandwiches taste good but definitely a very pricey one.
Starters are good. Tried cheese corn balls, chilly garlic bites, french fries and all were good.
Cakes again are yummy here. Tried strawberry, butterscotch, red velvet, chocolate, pista (single piece is around 50-60 bucks) but yummy. Chocolate mousse is also good.
Overall a nice place to hangout with friends and family when you crave for different variety of puffs/starters/desserts.
I have been here (bakers cafe ) many times tried al the items pastries sandwiches pizza puff mousse etc it's good to have such items but when u come for pasta only two pastas are good cheese pasta and olive pasta others are not that much good

Been visiting this place for years now, lost count of how many times I've visited it!
Their pastries, especially the rainbow cake and the royal chocolate are yummy. The pastas have never disappointed me and the pizzas are loaded with cheese and toppings. Surprisingly enough, the fried ice cream isn't really the worst, it's their service. You've to wait for a decade and a half (plus 2 more years) to get a glass of water. Not exactly the most friendly ambience either.
Baker's Cafe cakes are all eggless and are super tasty, and look amazing too (though sometimes they're a bit too generous with cream)
Forget service, go here for the food :)
The cake is really good and reasonably priced the guys over there are very kind.
I have taken 1 cake from here and 2nd cake was made by my sister-in-law Shikha Gulecha I would prefer to have her cake because it was much tastier and much delicious than the cake I got from Baker's cafe. The only reason I had taken this cake was because it is made in a pure vegetarian kitchen.

Food was very palatable!! White sauce pasta was good but it was little watery, I loved loved and loved the GARLIC BREAD!! (the best and got one more piece out of cost!!).. paneer spiral was yumm yumm sofftt softt!!, magic mushroom burger was BIGGG and a special mention to the choco donut- it was sooo soft and the chocolate was oozing out!!

Baker's cafe, a part of Sangeetha, is located at the end of Ramakrishna mutt road.
They have ample parking space which is a big relief, because it is very hard to find parking on this road.
The cakes made here are fresh, and priced reasonably!
I've tried a few savoury dishes too, they are decent.
Highlight of the place is their cakes and all other baked goodies!

I have been a Mylaporean for a long time but to my utter disbelief I have never seen this place. I saw this on Zomato and decided to give a try and was it worth it!! The pasta and pizza that we ordered was great in taste and so juicy.. Would be a frequent visitor from now on.. the .5 less rating is for the slow serving.. they can get extra waiters to patch this up... all in all great place for a quick continental food...

Ordered paneer studel ( am I right in spelling) , choco doughnut, ajwain soupsticks, wheat bread.
Paneer studel - Nice and soft.Must try.

Came to know about this place from Zomato and dropped in. Located on a busy road with ample space for parking vehicles. Ambience is calm and neat. I ordered cheese fries for starter which is nothing but the regular french fries with cheese. It could have been better. For the main course we had Cheese Veg balls pasta with Arrabiatta sauce. It was awesome!!! Had the right mix of sauces and seasoning with well cooked pasta. Finally Scotch nutty cake and Choco Royal mousse for dessert. Scotch nutty cake was very good, a perfect feast for sweet cravings. Not being a great fan of sweets I found Royal mousse to be boring after having few scoops cos it contained onlllly chocolate. Though the waiters took a while to serve, overall it was a great experience. Worth visiting !!!!

Bakers cafe in Mylapore is definitely one of the few bakeries giving out pure veg baked goods. The food is awesome here as well. I have eaten various types of biscuits and cookies (almonds, cashew, etc. to name a few) and the taste is always so good. The service is also super fast when you dine in. In my opinion, one of the best bakeries in Mylapore catering to the veggie crowd.
I have visited this place many times. The food here tastes like heaven. They have a lot of verities. The price is also very reasonable. I love the sizzling brownie served here. The only thing is that, they take a lifetime to serve you. The ambience is extremely good. The pizza served here is average.
The Excellent ambience will catch your eye as soon as you enter this cafe. Though it's pure veg, they have a good variety of cakes, sandwiches,Puffs & pizzas.

Have visited the place a number of times for their plum cake.Just love the fact that they not just make eggless cakes, they make only eggless cakes.
The place looks well decorated; perfect from a tiny party with kids.
My 1.5 year old son just loves the ambience and it smells so good.

Visited this place once before and I loved the pastries they serve here. We would ordered 5 different pastries and they all tasted good. The ambience is ok. The pricing and quality of the food is really worth it. I'm looking forward to visiting this place sometime soon.
My sisters birthday was coming up and we thought of giving her a surprise at midnight , so we ordered a mango delight cake from here ! Half kg 🎂 it costed us around ₹420 , which i personally feel is a bit too much for a half kg cake 😞 however the taste was good and the cake was fresh 😊👍
While waiting for the cake to be given to us , we tried the paneer cutlet here and it was awesome and filling with loads of paneer inside 👍🎉 it was worth ₹40 .
They also gave us 4 complimentary veggie puffs for the cake 👍😊

It was my parents 40th Anniversary. We planned for a low profile last minute cake cutting ceremony... after thinking about a lot of other places like hot breads, French loaf etc., we saw this place enroute to French loaf and decided to give this place a try... the off the shelf cakes are well designed, unlike some places where you don't get options for a half kg cake, we got one immediately... we chose a chocolate truffle cake... which costedd us around 475 bucks...we were given 4 free mini puffs.. Now puffs and me go a long way in not being pally to each other... The cake was so yummy... surprisingly, the puff, which I don't really like, was so well done and tasty... Apparently, I learnt this is a unit of Sangeethas... Well dinit expect too much of an ambience... I liked this place... give it a try
One of the best cakes I've tasted so far. Its blueberry cake and chocolate truffle are worth a try. Ambiance is average, but the food is great and is reasonably priced. Definitely worth trying
Totally contrary to most reviews out here, the service here was just so prompt!! I was given a complimentary pastry which was awesome, it was a vanilla cake!! I had ordered a cheese jalapeño sandwich which was just oozing with mozzarella cheese all over, this was just magical considering the appetite I had today for some hot food, this was followed by a burger, ooh yes I was on a kill, the burger was slightly disappointing, the bread was not too fresh but the Patty was fine with sufficient veggies!! Over all it was a very good meal for 200 rupees!! Quite impressive!! Would visit more often!!
This place is great to have quick bites. Their burgers aren't bad at all especially for the prices, the cakes are really good. The panner strudel is one of their best. The service could be more fast. A good place which would satisfy your taste buds and wallets as well.

I have been visiting this place a lot for the past four years. Located at the heart of Mylapore and next to the famous temple, this place attracts a lot of people. However, tables were available all the times that I visited.
The food here is really good and really worth every rupee paid. The ambiance might not be pleasing to everyone, but the quality of food they give makes up for it.
A definite recommendation for everyone and a must try for the people in Chennai!

The heart of mylapore has sumptuous South Indian food of all types. However if you know me,you'd know that isn't my preference. Having already been told by an aunt about great cakes from here, I called them to ask if they've everything on the menu during lunch time (1pm approx).
Located very near the temple tank, it's damn handy. They've a neat parking for some two wheelers (most important feature for mylapore places!).
A comparatively bigger bakery, they've a wide variety of breads, desserts and anything baked. ALL EGGLESS!!!! What a Jain treat!
My salad was worth every penny, ₹80 of it. The garlic bread it comes with was amazing, so when I asked for it again (not on the menu btw) they gave me a free extra piece! The pizza was average but very soft. And the lychee cake was nice. They've a wide variety of puffs etc, check it out.

It isn't always about how quick the food arrives. It's more about how accommodative the staff can be. A typically adorable Tambrahm mama at the counter runs the show smoothly, smiling at his customers, speaking kind words. He answered all my doubts, gave me an extra garlic bread all while doing his work.
Additional review: The olive garlic pasta is very bland, so rethink. They've fried ice cream sans coconut, which is pretty good. The tomato soup was average but the soup stick was great! Plus points AGAIN for the garlic bread.

Happened to stop here after attending a dance recital at Dakshinamurthy auditorium. The food was fresh and quality is pretty decent and the portion size is generous. We tried their cakes, pies and also their French fries and burgers. Their breads are quite good to. Their service quality was a bit disappointing as we had to wait for over 20 minutes for our French fries (I should mention that all tables were full that time and only two people to serve them all). I will stop by this place again for a quick snack.

I happened to try Bakers Cafe on a hungry Saturday afternoon.
Badly wanting to eat something tasty, i ordered a Penne pasta with creamy veg-ball sauce ( Arrabiata) and was made to wait for 15 minutes to get it done. The packing was superb.
The food tasted delicious and the portion size was generous too. The vada pav is also tasty here and so is the eggless choco truffle cake ( which ,btw, is a staple for our roomies and friends bdays) . The price is a lil on the higher side ( a lil i would say). But being a part of the Sangeetha family, I dont bother much because the quality and the portion sizes ll be reasonable for the money we shell out.
This would be the place where I would take my gang out for a fun filled foodie evening ( Month Beginning , though, when I am feeling rich enough).

Food tastes reasonable. In fact recently it was better n more than expected.. but it varies each day.. sometime its too good n sometimes ite average... it cod be more consistent...Mediocre service only. Area of placement of business is like that and so they should have known to be better equipped. They almost never give home delivery. One person was even rude over phone for asking something abt their menu. Not everything in the menu is available always.
Given The Festive Season,The place was crowded and so lead to a bottleneck. We were not asked for our order for 20 minutes atleast,but later The Manager actually came to us and was very forthright about what had happened and how he was sorry for it. It really pleased me. Best Management. Superb Exclusive Menu. Hawaaian salad is the best while Garlic breads are fabulous. Highly recomended for everyone with a continental taste and a normally weighing wallet. Oh and do not forget to have a bite of the awesome sweet delicacies.
Lovely place ! There is a plenty to choose from...From the gorgeous cakes to the cheesy continental food ,its all tasty making it worth for the price charged ! ..The ambience is pretty good. ! The reason I'm giving a 4.5 would be the magic mushroom pasta which was a bit bland for me. Despite this , I would definitely revisit this place for its finger licking food !

With semester exams looming tomorrow, was mulling where to order food for delivery [to give me time for the last minute crunch :)]. When my bro mentioned bakers cafe, i could not resist the temptation of going there in person.
In short each of my visits to Baker's Cafe have been delightful.
We ordered Paneer trudle Chilly Pepper cheese bites , Magic Mushroom Penne pasta , Paneer tikka Pizza.
While the food was getting ready, ordered Cheese croissant . It came in a jiffy and was delicious especially with the chilly sauce here which is the best in town IMHO,While we were eating this, the cheesy bites arrived with a generous helping of Hawaiian salad.
Simply the best in town, It even eclipsed the cheesy corn balls i had in Cream center a while ago. Simply the best.
The Pasta and Pizza arrived while we were hogging the cheese balls,Pasta was creamy with lots of mushroom and tasted great with the chilly sauce.
Paneer tikka pizza had a lot of flavour. I loved it while my bro did not like it as much,For people who like spicy food, try the Andhra Spicy Pizza here :)
Time for desserts : The Chocolate Mousse here is great and will become legendary soon.Very soft oozing with chocolate at every mouthful.
All this set us back by 400 bucks.

We ordered Birthday cake last week and it was too good. Also we had Vegetable puffs which is also good in taste. I would definitely recommend this for Vegetarian food lovers. Price is also reasonable, service is good. Staff are friendly.
Vanilla cake at Baker’s Cafe is just so soft with airy buttercream! Paneer Strudel was delicious.. Such a nice cafe where puff pastries and donuts are served warm and yum!

They were affordable pre- COVID, now bit costly. Nevertheless, the taste remains the same. Cool ambience, good variety of dishes, their pastries are eggless and super tasty. Cakes come in different sizes and flavours. Decorations like hats, candles are available too.
Good place for different Bread varieties. There were many bakery and snacks to buy.

We went there to try out their chocolate croissant and We were surprised by the taste. It's literally wow and I'm lucky to taste it while it is hot. The chocolate melted in my mouth and the texture was perfect. I totally loved it. We also tried chocolate filled doughnut it was also very tasty 😋

Great options for cakes and pastries for vegetarians. The birthday cake was done awesome and kids loved it. Focaccia was an instant hit too. Kids felt it tasted like pizza. Friendly staff who helped us with various options and were extremely responsive over phone too. Overall a very nice experience.
