Ice creams are prepared with your own selection of mix-ins. They have around 6-7 varieties of flavours. If you are confused about what to choose, You can ask them samples for tasting. Btw I tried Sweet cream and Mint.

The ice creams were good and you can taste them before you place the order which you want.. First topping will be free which will be enough and extra topping cost 25 which wont be a big one.

I have always heard about cold stone creamery. This was the first outlet I visited and tried the Tiramisu Ice Cream. It just melted in my mouth with the first bite. I loved how the tiramisu flavours are so fulfilling. Coffee Ice Cream is also great. The ice cream is really creamy. You can also get your ice cream customized with your favourite toppings.
Cheese cake was too yummy, one of the best you could get in Chennai . Icecream is the best thing to have here ๐ฅฐ

Cold stone was very hyped at the beginning a lot of people were talking about that they have opened their first outlet here.
I tasted many flavors here also tried their icecream and shakes.
Unlike the competitor's we really cannot call this as a concept based icecream because they just don't mix and smash any flavors or create concepts but rather they add toppings and without hurting the cold stone they mix it very gently.
Ordered cheesecake shake and cake batter shake both were good but not excellent. As the name suggests both shakes had their characteristic flavor but was too sweet and after a certain point you will start to think when will this get over.
Now coming to icecream flavors please do not buy anything from their concept it will be very worse instead go for a plain flavor icecream with your favorite topping you are most likely to like it.
Overall a worth trying their icecream and shakes a lots of different flavors available.

The place is situated in an ok place inside the mall. Ordered cheesecake, French vanilla and cookie cream. Cheesecake was a bit sour in taste. French vanilla stands out. It is located in the center of the Phoenix Market city mall and I visited it to try my favorite flavor Cotton Candy. I ordered a small cup with out any toppings and it cost me 152 rupees with the taxes. It tasted super delicious and the seating is very comfortable but I think they need to reduce the prices a bit to make it accessible to more people.
I had visited to pheonix and we went to cold stone and i ordered for coffee icecream it was lovely and tasted different .

I ordered a raspberry and strawberry smoothie through zomato. It was extremely sugary and I couldn't even drink half of it. I've had cold stone ice creams, shakes, and smoothies in the US, and I usually enjoy it.
Edit: Thanks to the management at Coldstone, they were able to fix it! I'll be giving a cold stone another chance in the future.

Cold Stone Creamery has got to be one of the best ice-cream chains in Chennai. So fresh, gooey, creamy and yum! The small sized-cups carried enough dessert to energize our shopping trip.
Chocolate Devotion: Ultra smooth and rich chocolate ice-cream mashed with chocolate chips, brownie and fudge served in a chocolate dipped waffle bowl.
Coffee Lovers Only: This one is a coffee lover's delight. Coffee flavoured ice-cream beaten with Snickers, roasted almonds and caramel served in a waffle bowl.

After tasting at the one in Bangalore I was planning from long to visit this place. Had taken my favourite - Cheesecake Fantasy along with another one - Salted Caramel with butterscotch nuts. The first time I tried cold stone was at Atlantis in Dubai in 2010. Their varieties of ice creams and sorbets were so yummy and out of this world ๐, that I hoped so badly that they would open their branches in Chennai as well. When they opened in Phoenix, I was so delighted ๐๐ป and couldnโt wait to try it here.
My favourites are their Belgian chocolate, cotton candy, mint chocolate chip, berry and water melon sorbet. The ice creams are rich, creamy and create magic in your mouth!!๐คฉ๐ Itโs quite expensive but I wonโt regret paying for the taste and quality offered here.

Awaiting this particular brand of ice creams since forever! It is the first of its kind in Chennai. They have a wide variety of flavors to choose from. I chose the Create Your Own concept where You can choose one flavor and one mix-in of your choice. So i went ahead with coffee ice cream and kit kat mix-in. The ice cream was really smooth with a full blast of coffee flavor. It costed around 200 rupees for a medium sized cup. Definitely worth! ๐จ๐ง๐ฆ
Ordered Cheesecake fantasy, chocolate devotion and banana caramel crunch -vanilla . It was a wonderful experience - better ice cream quality (less air) then most of the so cold icecream parlous in Chennai.ย But not at Haagen Dazs level for sure- but thats fine because you will not get disappointed with quality, taste and flavor as it mostly happens in most of the mushrooming icecream shops in chennai.
We ordered a small "like it!" serving of Birthday Cake Remix and a small "like it!" serving of Peanut Butter Cup Perfection. Both the ice creams are worth trying and quite filling as well.
This is the best place for ice cream. Of course price is high. Really high. Each toppings cost an additional 25. But the ice cream is real good. Finding a place is difficult. But do try atleast once here.

Finally managed to try out the famed Cold Stone Creamery. This review is a compilation of three visits to the place.They've opened a store at Phoenix mall, and got to lay our hands on their signature ice creams,or "indulgence", as they're calling it, and which we can wholeheartedly agree to,and their ice cream shakes.
Well, coming to the flavours,these guys are not mincing words. If there's a shake named "oh my fudge", that's exactly what you'll get. Not that anybody is complaining. ๐
We tried the Milk and Cookies shake and the Oh my Fudge shake. Both had their ingredients on point, and the Fudge one felt exactly as if it had been made out of fudge cake batter. Rich and creamy and thick,it was gooey goodness. The Milk and Cookies one was equally good, blended out of whole milk, sweet cream ice cream and Oreo cookies.
Next day,we managed to lay our hands on three of their signature flavours. We tried the French Vanilla,the Passion fruit sorbet and the cheesecake ones. Mind-blowing would be an understatement. Each ones had the ingredients spot-on,and the toppings like M&M's, butterscotch nuts, rainbow sprinkles,Oreo cookies etc. add to the indulgence. One topping comes with the selection,and there are two variants: "Like it" or "Love it".
For the shakes,the "Love it" versions set us back by Rs.285 while the cup ones cost Rs.165 each.
On our third visit,we managed to try out their signature creations like Berry Berry Berry Good, the Cheesecake, The German Chocolate and the Salted Caramel flavour. Each and every one of these is named so aptly and the flavours just burst in your mouth. It's a feeling to know firsthand.
At the end of it all, even though it's kinda expensive,what we get for the money is more than worth it. This one stays right at the top among one of the best ice creams I've ever had. Well,it wouldn't hurt to have the occasional indulgence, right??!! ๐๐
Visited Cold Stone after wanting to try some of their icecreams and finally had a taste of it. Located in Basement of Phoenix market city is the much talked about Icecream parlor.
They serve variety of flavours and i ordered Butterscotch icecream topped with pie crust, cashewnuts and shaved chocolate. The flavours were spot on and the consistency was perfect.
Pricing is a bit on the higher side and there are some unique flavors to try for the next visit. I rate Cold stone creamery a solid 4/5

Was shopping in Phoniex mall and saw this new ice cream parlor and tried it. I had their signature creation German chocolate ice cream mixed with pecan, brownies and grated coconut. The coconut and chocolate combination topped with the crunchy ness from the pecan was fantastic. Will definitely try again when I'm there. Decently priced.

Dang it .. it was the best combo and made my saturday even better! We ordered for berry berry strawberry, surrender to strawberry and a birthday cake remix. We ordered the love it size. There were variable sizes such as live it, love it and so on. They gave a sizeable portion of the ice cream and it was really delicious and yum!
The bill came upto 583/- which i thought was cheap for the three ice creams. All the creations were really good and they used real frozen fruits which gave an extra flavour to the ice cream.
Im definitely visiting this place again, for their sumptuous ice creams ! ๐ฏโค๐

When Cream n Fudge and Cream Stone were raved and reviewed upon by my friends i always used to say "Poda dei naangellam US la saapdatha ColdStone ah". I was expecting CSC to come a little sooner . The ice cream on a coldstone concept is huge now and the market is saturating . But,what actually makes the difference is the base (the ice cream itself ) and the add ons .. both at which Coldstone has an upperhand , or so i think ! Now coming to what i had .. it was me and my girl and both had a heavy lunch so we chose to go light on our order .. i wanted to try a smoothie but it was not available hence got myself a strawberry banana milkshake instead .. she took the usual choclate icream,single serving with her add ons and stuff .. the service was a bit delayed as it was a busy evening for them ..
I loved my shake .. got to right?? after all its a shake .. the icecream used was surely premium stuff .. the thickness and the soft texture we get from high end stores like Movenpic,Swens etc .. The lady compalined that her add ons were chunky and would have been nice if it had been broken down a bit more .. she loved the flavour of the choc icream though !! Thumbs up on that ...

Visited this place many times when I used to stay in Dubai. Was very excited when they opened it here in Chennai. It's a nice and comfortable place opened behind the ground floor escalator at Phoenix mall , Velachery. The day I visited it was extremely crowded , since the place was relatively new. You can either choose their signature creations or make your own. I decided to make my own. They let you taste the flavour to make your decision easier. I had the Carnival Blue Icecream with butterscotch nuts , gems , snickers and butterscotch sauce. The first topping is free , then they add Rs.30 for every additional topping. I had a large scoop. The ice-cream was really good. The total bill came up to Rs.310 which is borderline pricey but it's worth every penny. The ambience is nice , just crowded. The service was very fast. Can't wait for my next visit!

Being an ardent Oreo Shake fan I chose this try it out. Thickness: (1-10 scale; 1-milk & 10-ice cream). The thickness was around 5. Which was perfect milk shake thickness to me. Loved the milkshake every bit. Thoroughly enjoyed. Except I didnโt feel much of Oreo in it. Had they put extra Oreos in it. It would have pure perfection for me. But still enjoyed it. (3.75/5)
SERVICE:
Self service. Even in huge crowd, response was quick. (3.5/5)
PRICING:

Great design with red theme. Few tables available for dine in purpose.

Was craving for something sweet and then the coldstone creamery put a smile on my face. Since it was first time here, I was quite skeptical about the taste, hence I ordered only one of the creations. My order was a 'cookie dough you want icecream'.
So this creation is basically French vanilla ice cream along with chocolate chips, cookie dough, fudge and caramel. I was definitely impressed by the taste of the ice cream. The ice cream has that premium touch and was so so thick and creamy. The caramel along with the ice cream just melts in your mouth.
And yeah forgot to mention the ice cream is served along with some waffles. The special thing here is those waffles are cooked on the fly and fresh hot batches are served along with the ice cream which is another kudos here.
Ambiance:
It's situated in the middle of the mall. It is more of a kiosk with a few tables beside it.
Service:
It is self service here and they have some courteous staff here.
Overall, this is definitely an amazing place to try out some cold stone creations. And yes I would definitely visit this place again to try some of their other creations.

Tried out this latest addition to Chennai city. It's at Phoenix Mall. They have a good variety of ice-creams and a range of toppings to choose from. You will get quite confused as everything looks tempting. The staff is quick and efficient. They also entertain you with some juggling as they get the ice-cream ready.
I tried out salted caramel with topping of butterscotch nuts. It was really yummy. It's not too pricey also.
Please visit the next time u go to Phoenix Mall. You will surely go back again !!

A brilliant place to hang out with. You all must have had ice creams in various places and also at home tasting variety of brands which is available but youโll be shocked to know that aim of the top brands does not sell the real ice cream though we have assumed that it is one. We end up eating frozen dessert thinking it as an ice-cream.
Having said that, what makes Cold Stone Creamery special is it gets the ingredients - milk solids from the US directly & each and every cup you relish is manufactured on the same day. Whatโs more is unlike others, the brandโs product has 14% fat which means you get the real rich cream & you get to taste the best.
Also the store is located on Phoenix Market City which is connected via road from across the city.
You can also get to make your own stuff but since the store is opening up for the first time in India with stores in Kochi (1), Bengaluru (5) & Chennai (1), they have planned to open close to 200 stores in the coming days, they have their own combo and you can get it from the set of those which were tried & tested. The brand is well known in the U.S.
I had Founderโs Favourite and I must say it tasted divine. The brand also has ice cream cakes. Since each of the 18 flavours (in the store) are deep frozen, unlike other they cannot be taken in scoop but has to be taken by using flat base ladle.
Give it a try. Youโll not be disappointed.

Managed to try out the new ice cream store in town, Cold stone creamery. Huge variety of ice cream flavours and you'll probably be confused on which one to go for. I personally tried the Cheesecake flavour and it's definitely one of the best I've had. The whole ice cream making is a thing to watch with all the juggling while they smash it up. Go for any of the signature ones and you'll be blown away for sure.
