I loved it,went on Sunday Evening,it was full, anyways got thru in few mins. The service is quick n fast becoz of flow of customers.
As IAM dosa lover,got a 1 plain dosa n 1 rava masala dosa n coffee. Dosa usually goes with good tasting chutney n sambhar and all were good n yummy. Coffee was good too with authentic southindian filter.
It's a good spot in Phoenix to have a reasonable qualitative food. Had Chola Bhatura, Coffee which was really good. Price was Reasonable. Service was good.
Visited as a guest in the Namma veedu Vasanta Bhavan restaurant for lunch day before yesterday. We were entertaining friends from California, and enjoyed our side table. We chose to stay indoors - to enjoy the air conditioning 😊. I just want to say that, in addition to a nice meal, we had a delightful. He had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. He recognized that we wanted time to visit and did not rush us. He and other staff members made certain that we had everything we needed.
Again had a very tasty podi dosa.
Kudos to Namma veedu vasanta Bhavan.
Also tasted veg fried rice and mushroom pepper fry. Yummy .....

Found this place inside Phoenix.
Tried out filter coffee and mini idly.
The Sambar and chuttney combo for the hot idly was splendid.. Loved the taste and got energy to shop again😜

All the dishes were well seasoned. The price range is also very reasonable! Had a good experience 😊 The surroundings were also very elegant.

Had a late dinner while at the mall. Regular fare. Good service. But nothing specifically different to call the experience as delightful. Place is typically crowded. Ambience is regular. Neatness can be worked on. Overall for the hour we visited we were were pretty happy. Try it out once!
The place had more bearers and staff than the no of customers. It's very convenient for a good south indian snacks when we go to Phoenix mall . The place is huge and neat. Taste is not like other joints... Don't know why?!

It happened to visit NVB after a shopping in mall. Been thr for the first time and I jus loved the ambience and it's nice place to relax and try new cuisines(must try podi dhosa) nd gain all our energy back for next round of shopping.😛 customer service was really impressive, especially I need to say my kiddo puked in the floor but staff named munisamy came forward and helped us without making face and eluded us from embrassed scenario. Definitely will visit again 👍 expecting same service with smile in future as well 😊
Its One of the famous names for south Indian food. Went with my family for a light tiffin. Its good that they have their own space, can accommodate a decent lot. We asked for Kollukattai, they said its available only on weekends and for bajji, it will take some time. Finally, we ordered medhu vadai, Bajji, rasamali, mango lassi, gobi 65 and coffee. Mango lassi and rasamalai was good, the rest were just okay. We asked if the bajji was ready and ordered one. Bill was around 540INR.

Quantity of Sambar was very less, we need to ask every time and we ordered sambar idli that bowl was very small not worth for money

I am a NV fan, but i had visited NVB for a change. It was a fantabLou's experience. I ordered Banana dosa. The dish was new and I loved each and every bite. Service was exceptional. Special mentioning Mr. Munisamy the branch supervisor whose hospitality was A+. Only bad thing is food was served late. If u r a veggie surely u can give a try for the varieties. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👌
We had a family get together on last sunday @ phoenix mall. We went for a movie and planned to had our dinner at food court but it was fully crowded and clumsy . So we accidentally entered NVB. We got our table after 15 mins since it was sunday. We ordered thali meals and gopi 65. Meals was pretty okaey but the gopi 65 was at its best. We also had mush room fried rice,panner masala. Every dish is excellent. Service level is top class especially the floor supervisor ( forget his name) was down to earth and took care of every customer. 5 stars for him. Only -ve is food can be served much faster. I am a big fan of dosa wanna try dosas next time. NBV rockz :)

On a random day in the Phoenix Market city, i have an intense craving for Sambhar.. It was just because on my short visit to the dosa city, i hvnt had south Indian food even once. So yes it was a moment of realisation. :P Then my friend took me to this place situated on the second floor. The place was almost full but luckily we got a table. We ordered a plain dosa with masala, mini idly and onion uttapam. The mini idlies were literally mini :D served in a cute small tub. The dosa was crisp and accompanied with a small bowl of sambhar just as I like it. The sambhar had a balanced taste and coconut chutney was also good. I am more of a dosa person but to my surprise that evening uttapam was the star dish. It was thick, very well cooked and it had onion(it had a very subtle smoked flavour and it was tender) but was not overpowering the flavours of the core ingredient. It was crisp on the outside and soft inside.
The ambience of the place didn't have anything extra ordinary. It was crowded and the service was a bit slow,may be because we went in the peak hours, food was good and the place is really frugal. Very light on pocket and fills ur tummy with quality food- purpose served.

One of the well known South Indian food joints in Chennai e. This was my quality outing to authentic hard core South Indian food with no mix match or location customizations. Quality top notch, service quick and efficient, variety immense. Present in almost every knook and corner of the city. Food is super fresh and well served. They serve North Indian and Chinese food as however not the best option to try at this place. Stick to basics and one will not be disappointed. I like their masala dosa which is original and well served with top quality chutneys. I love their uttapam and paniyaram as well. What also appeals to me in the creative and well thought of wall papers which are pleasing to see. Don't forget the nice and well made filter coffee in the end which is a mist have when you are here. Then why not a very high rating, first they are good though not the best in business and for a cuisine which is fiercely competitive in this part of the well, they need to have a USP and some dazzling dishes which is not the case. The food is good however like what you get elsewhere, they claim to be premium which is not the case however I still would love to visit mainly thanks to accessibility and quick service

An unexpected happy experience. And the dinner turned out to be an impressive one as i was looking out for a casual veg dine in restaurant. In search of it landed up in VB for its popularity. Ordered :paper roast,mushroom and veg fried rice, chilli parota, Rava dosa,ghee roast and famous kara paniyaram.A typical usual dine in order it was.The taste of every dish was really good especially the mushroom biriyani and chilli parota was awesome.Paper roast was huge enough to take the Length of the table though.Had good tasty, quality food and commendable service which is sometimes lacked by the other branches. Namma Veedu Vasanta Bhavan is best eat out for a veg restaurant in Phoenix mall.

After watching movie we went for light snacks,we had mysore Masala Dosa, it was very nice and different from other restaurant, food and service was good,definitely visit again.

This shop is located inside pheonix market City Velachery. It is the only good restaurant for vegetarian in the mall. Food tastes good but can be improved. Always crowded especially during lunch. We have wait to get a table here. Everytime we go for this restaurant it is always crowded. Ambience is really good. Customer service can be improved a little.

It was fantastic experience at this restaurant last week with my family. Located inside Phoenix mall with ample seating and good ambiance, this is one of the best vegetarian restaurants in the city. We tried their mushroom biriyani, North and South Indian meals along with parotta. Coffee was great to end the sumptuous meal. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Rating 4/5

Sampath was very polite, and the parotta kurma was pretty close to the best I've had!
We had our evening snack/early dinner here and its really good. Filter coffee and Karuppatti coffee are too good. For a change, tried with Raagi uthappam and its also pretty good. Bajji is the only item which is average(From the items We tried). Price for “Coffee” little bit higher, but its worth for the taste.
