I have ordered Boneless Golden Fried Chicken..The Taste, Quantity and Package was good... But in taste there is no big difference in Boneless Golden Fried Chicken vs Chicken 65.
Boneless is the only plus to choose this dish over Chicken 65...:-)

Kadai 65 spells the same as kadai vegetable or chicken or mutton . So please mention it to be quail. As I mistook it to be a kadhai like in the utensil. Thank you.

This restaurant is a must try for new folks who don’t know the value and taste .Their starters tandoori chicken simply succulent and yummy , not to discount other starters . Try their signature dish paramount pepper chicken masala . They have been over last 7 decades . Excellent authentic food served with frills and pocket friendly!

A good Biriyani makes a Happy face, I guess probably the only good Biriyani outlet at Kilpauk, so good Biriyani and starters, the Staffs were so Friendly, even at late night I got Very good service.

Working around thoraipakkam and for people who wants to have decent Muslim briyani. This joint is the only place in that locality Good hotel and Biryani will be very nice
Wonderful Mutton Briyani with excellent Chilly mutton and Chicken Kebab.
Really we enjoyed the green cutney they along with Kebab. Really mouth watering one. Mutton just lefts it bone when we try to take it out, such level of preparation . Good one to spent our money .
Tried the famed butter chicken and Kerala paratha here.
The paratha was large flaky and crispy just like any Kerala paratha.
The butter chicken was good but not among the best as raving reviews made out it to be . Was slightly disappointed on that part.
Anyways good restaurant with lot of people moving around and crowded. Been there for so many years.

Today ordered both chicken and mutton biriyani. Both tasted great. Had a good amount of chicken and mutton pieces in it. The gravy which was given along with the biriyani took the taste to another level.
This restaurant is known for quality, good taste and quantity. I always enjoy eating at this restaurant. Highly recommended, this restaurant is good to visit.

Paramount was like my family's go to place whenever I was a child to have dinner outside. But somewhere down the line we forgot its existence and whenever we cross Paramount, we think "We should go here again". But the plan never materialised until a few days back when we as a family decided to have dinner.
The first impression after going there almost a decade later was that they've renovated and then expanded the first floor AC restaurant. But it still retains that old world charm and I was taken back to my childhood days
Our usual orders used to be the Chicken Korma and Stuffed Parotta. We ordered that along with Hot and sour Chicken Soup, aapams, idyappams and tandoori chicken.
As far as I know, the taste of the Korma and the stuffed parottas hasn't changed at all. It was just delicious and we were struck by nostalgia. Only then I decided that this gem of a place will never be forgotten again. So this review is more of a homage to this amazing restaurant that has given me some awesome childhood memories. Am surely going back again!

Recommended place for quick service and tasty food. Key highlights are the chicken tikka, fish finger and the dosa/parotta and aatu paaya.
The Briyani is a must try and the golden fried prawns are my all all time favourite.
The Chinese food is okayish compared to its other cuisines. Specialises in Chettinad and Arabian food.
The forever unchanging taste just blows me away every time, kisses to the chef. I delightfully recommend everyone to have any food here. 😁😁
One of the oldest and affordable restaurant in Kilpauk. Very good taste and pocket friendly prices. Their kebabs and grills are very well made. If u like good old restaurant type then this is a must visit place

Famous hotel in kilpauk. Good place for dinning. Though taste is not the same as it was 5yrs ago, it is the best place in kilpauk, especially non veg food. Recommend for a Sunday noon non veg food.
Parotta, Mutton Paya, Chiken Kurma. Pocket friendly. The quality of Paya, Chiken Kurma is very good. I know this hotel for the past 20 years. Less crowded. I don't prefer A/C option, Hence you can spend more money extra dishes. Saalna of this hotel 100 times better than Thambi Vilas, Courtallam border.

My go to hotel in Chennai eaten here a million times; they offer the best butter chicken in Chennai and their chicken tikka masala is also first class; this hotel is also famous for its chicken 65 and American chopsuey. A bit on the expensive side but the quality of food is worth the price tag, friendly staffs and amazing food is all that you get when you visit this amazing legendary hotel.

This is a legendary place. You should definitely try their reshmi kababs. The parottas and biryani are something you'd expect of a legendary place as this. Go here if you are bored of the Buhari's and thalapakattis.

The food taste is pretty good and consistent. Right from inception till date, we have had some good chicken 65, rice, parathas, tandoori chicken and Ceylon paratha. All in all, if you are looking for tasty food without the frills, this is the place to go.

A very nice place to have a meal, they have been here for years. Good options for lunch and dinner. Limited breakfast options. Taste is good and reasonably priced.
Visited this resturant after maybe 20 years. The food is still great. Dropped in for a quick lunch. Ordered Parotta and Chicken Curry. The parottas were hot, crispy, flaky and freshly made. The chicken curry was really tasty too. One leg piece and more than enough gravy. Loved the food. Will be dropping in droping in to try their other dishes sometime soon
I went to hotel paramount on a Saturday afternoon, the place was not that crowded. We ordered special biryani, nethili fry, kadai mutton gravy and wheat paratha. The biryani was okayish, might not suite everybody’s taste, they sautéed it with egg crumbs. Nethili fry was top notch with the quantity as well as the taste. Kadai mutton steals the show, the succulent mutton pieces in that medium spicy gravy was so yummy, it’s a must try. Wheat paratha tasted like homemade ones, but the size was pretty huge. So the overall experience was really good.
The ambience was good. The hot and sour chicken soup taste good but it was very thick in consistency. We had parotta with malai kofta,tangri kebab it taste good. Customer service is also good.

Finally, a good place to have perfect non-veg cuisine it was a bit crowded since we went on a weekend and there was a wait for around 10 minutes to get seated.

Went for lunch in ground floor non AC section. Chicken biryani was good but boneless chicken 65 wasn’t tasty. Ordered chicken noodles which was okay without any spiciness or taste.
This is a good joint to have biryani and snack kind of food after lunch hours. Especially mutton samosa which they serve during 4pm is too good.
I am being a Hyderabadi, I like irani chai which they serve good.

I’ve been visiting paramount hotel since I was a kid. The butter chicken tastes exactly the same and amazing.
Their Mughal biryani was so different and tasted yum.
I’d definitely recommend visiting the hotel at least once if you’re in Chennai.

In spite of the quality I feel this is very much underrated. Take any dish the meat used is if the first quality and the quantity is worth the money you pay. The non veg meals a relatively new addition is very reasonably priced and one of the best among non vegetarian hotels. I would be good if the non AC section is converted to ac as elders find climbing the steep stairs difficult. Value for money and satisfaction assured.

While I am not a fan of fish curry, the curry along with meals was an instant hit.
Nice hotel and friendly staff.. Was very busy and difficult to find place sometimes.. Food arrived fast though the starter we ordered arrived only at the last... Taste was good though quantity of briyani was much lesser than expected.. Mutton special was very delicious.. Mind no menu cards available and orders to be made from one big board which has all items on it..
