Loved the rolls here... While in Chennai I used to visit them often along with my friends... Now I'm in Bangalore and I truly miss the rolls and the service with a smile...

Brilliant wraps guys, especially the marinated meat in it. A suggestion, do consider starting a franchise in Mahindra world city. Am sure it'll be good business, the place is full of bachelors.

Nice comfortable place for a cozy evening tea! The outdoor area is done quite beautifully! Different seating areas to choose from.. though the service could be improved slightly.. the overall experience was quite pleasent!

Bayleaf OTG (On The Go) is a small kiosk coupled with the dine-in facility of ox and Tomato in chetpet.
What we had :
🔹 chicken tikka Kathi roll
🔹 paneer tikka Kathi roll
Both of them had super flaky paratha bread and only onions along with the the selected meat/kebab makes the filling inside. Tasted good though.
If you're looking at having the usual street food style Frankie this is NOT the place.

As an odiya, bengali food reminds me of homely flavours. Fish stuffed parwal and luchis is a concept so new to me, I loved it. Rasgulla is not what i expected.

Got the samosas from there six tiny little ones like very tiny ones and costed around 150 for them the rolls were a total disappointment the tikka roll and the malai kebab roll not cooked the meat inside was a bit pink which is clearly not a good sign not worth 480 rupees never you'd get better rolls at Bombay Frankie anyday two rolls worth 120 would be better than 300 for two not a place I would recommend

Value for Money -2/5

Taste - 3/5

The place serving Kati role immediately draws comparison from similar places serving more or less the same kind of rolls.

Went for it because of the Bay Leaf Name . Because Bayleaf Gopalapuram used to serve awesome rolls.

Ordered veg sheek roll, gobi manchurian roll and Achari Paneer roll.

As a general observation , fillings were roughly half of what you get at similar places.

Veg sheek - filling was tasty and by far the best of 4 rolls that we ordered.

Achari Panner - not up to the mark.

Gobi Manchurian - No complaints , the filling was tasty .

They had served tangy mint chutney which was good.

The packaging was neat and clean.

One of the most commonly ordered places for me via swiggy for a quick lunch . Always ordered under a 20% off . The rolls are very much filling and 1 roll is enough to fill your stomach. The prices are reasonable when compared to other roll shops . Paneer tikka and achaari paneer tikka were the best one here.

We ordered through Swiggy.
Gobi manjurian kathi roll and chicken Lasugni Kathi roll, chicken shek kabab.
Chicken roll was tasty and upto the mark. Gobi roll was average. Not much of choices in menu, but value for money.

not worth for this cost

The rolls were dry and stale

We got a takeaway from their outlet. I had the Gobi Manchurian roll with the wheat base. The roll was very thick and a little uncooked, the taste of the Gobi Manchurian was good. The green chutney was also good. The price is slightly on the higher side.

Good for a quick bite. So the place is like a mini stall inside mad hatters. Chilly chicken roll tasted good, but come on - who charges for chutney. Buyers note, the gate outside might be closed, but the place is open. Decent stuff, helps that it's near my office.

Saw the flyer for Bayleaf OTG and since I like their Katti rolls decided to order a home delivery a couple of weeks back. Ordered Reshmi chicken roll, Lasuni chicken roll and chicken sheekh kababs.
We got the delivery after nearly an hour and I found that there was no difference in the taste of the reshmi and lasuni kababs
I expect at least a garlic hit in the lasuni kabab and I found the overall taste of the rolls to be bland and only dunking it in the accompanying mint chutney made it palatable.
I really did not expect this from a franchise of Bayleaf.
Literally like chalk and cheese in terms of taste!!!
To top it all they had left out the sheekh kabab but had charged me for it.
Talk about adding fuel to fire.

A small outlet located next to the Madhatters Tea garden.
Prefer the take away rather than the dine in.
Lots of dogs which were rumbling through the dustbins.

The kathi rolls were really good.
The chicken double egg were filled with a lotta fillings and the flavour was really good.
The mint chutney was ❤

Bayleaf latest outlet and my first try of Bayleaf.

Located inside the street opposite RockStone, Bayleaf possesses a cute outdoor ambience. The kitchen is well maintained and a spark of cleanliness is seen around the place. We went at 9:30PM and the service was on point even then.

I got myself a Paneer Burji Kathi Roll. Best kathi roll I have had in the recent past. Paneer was so spongy and taste was just apt - Not too spicy and not to cheesy.

Our other orders included Chicken Tikka,Chicken Reshmi,Mutton Egg,Mutton Tikka.

We ordered around 8 Kathi Rolls to pay a bill of ₹1300.

Thank you, Bayleaf.

Indian cuisine has been influenced a lot through the history! The kings who invaded our country brought with them the most delicious cuisines and legendary dishes. Naan and kebabs are few of what they introduced us to!

The khati rolls were first introduced in Kolkata when the British were too fussy to touch the kebabs and eat the food with their fingers. To make their life easier, kebabs were wrapped in layered breads. The rolls slowly evolved, where we have chutneys, salad, eggs and most recently cheese added to them.

And Chennaities!!! It’s time to wave goodbyes to your hungry pangs! Your favourite khati roll from @bayleafotg, Gopalapuram is now available at Chetpet. You will find @bayleafotg (Bayleaf On the Go) inside @madhattersteagarden 😍 (the left from French Loaf at Harrington road).

The meat for all the dishes are marinated and cooked at their Gopalapuram outlet, from where they are distributed to kiosks at Besant Nagar and Chetpet. So the rolls or kebabs are gonna taste the same at every location.

The chefs at every outlet are trained to make the rolls that taste exactly the same beginning from making the parathas to handing over the packed rolls. Perfection is what they have all practiced.

Chicken egg roll and mutton egg roll -Each roll had succulent pieces of meat, rolled with spongy eggs on soft and crispy parathas. This was first time that I did not have a problem with my mutton at a restaurant and this was perfectly cooked. And did you know the the meat and paratha for every variety of the roll changes 🙄 (I still don’t know what they manage to concentrate on such niche details). Crispy, juicy, tasty! 😋

I also took home parcels of the chicken achari kebabs and the tangdi kebabs. I was amazing by the way the chicken was still hot (thanks to their packaging) and the way this tastes. The kebabs were tender and well marinated. Again I should mention tangdi kebabs needs to be cooked a certain way so they are cooked evenly on all sides since this is the leg portion and the meal is unevenly spread on the bone. If this is over cooked, the meat separates from the bone, if it’s undercooked the meat would be rare on the inside (if it’s your bad luck you would taste the chewy chicken and the chicken blood! Sorry but I have had bad experiences). And this one was cooked the right way!

I was surprised at the care taken for the packaging of food. The rolls are rolled in a wrapper (butter paper) and then a thick paper cover which is sealed. The kebabs are packed in boxes with sections for salad, chutney and kebabs. They then seal the box in such a way that the dishes don’t get mixed up while we carry them. That’s the kind of care taken for your food!

VALUE for money, pocket friendly and the best quality of food!

We had ordered pepper chicken rolls it was stuffed with onions and very sour with very little chicken .Usually we order form their restaurant but since the OTG is close to our place we did so .Would suggest instead of ordering it’s better to go down and grab a bite.Totally disappointed !

My favourite place for kati rolls. The rolls are made fresh to order and available in both veg and non veg. They are soon coming up with the biryani combo.

I've always only ordered the Chicken Egg roll, but I think I've officially switched over to Team Hariyali.
The best part though is how crispy and flaky the paratha was, even though I'd ordered in. AND it got to me in 30 minutes.
So glad you guys are on Harrington road now!
