I had mini lunch for 100 which had phulka kurma, tomato rice with onion salad, sambar rice n carrot poriyal and curd rice with pickle. Loved it. Felt fullllll.
Had chat items. Bhel puri was excellent. But, They could include more items on the menu because I felt that options were too limited to choose from.
Good ambience. Been here two times, their phulkha, kadai vegetables, aloo gobi are worth mentioning. Quick service, tasty food, less crowded since it's in one-way road and many people would fail to notice !!!

I am an outright non-veg person but this was the first veg restaurant which impressed me. The interior is nice. There is children's playing area where the smaller ones can play and you can have your food in peace.
The food took quite a while to be served, but the food was mouth watering.
Been here many a times since it is near my office.
Good ambience.
Good service.
I mostly used to go for lunch.
Their thali is brilliant the south indian one. I love the powder which they give along with it.
Other favourites might be singapore noodles.
A group of 14 had been there for lunch one saturday afternoon. The place was empty which made us second guess our decision 🙄. We however decided to try out this place as we had heard some good reviews😊.
The ambiance was good. The staff were courteous and arranged to get us all seated together😇.
Their menu had varied cuisines to choose from. We sat and fought there like a bunch of school kids on what to order🙈..After we had finalised the order, we were informed that continental food were unavailable! Crap! And we had to start all over again🙄🙄.
After the initial scuffle, we prepared ourselves to gobble up the food that started arriving...
Soups: We ordered the Tomato soup, sweet corn soup and veg noodles soup. The tomato soup was yum😋, the sweet corn soup tasted good. The noodles soup however was watery and bland.
Starters: I would rather call it main course than starters😛.. We had ordered more starters than the main course..🙈🙈.. The first lot of starters arrived.. Gobi 65 and paneer fingers.. the gobi 65 was crispy n delicious😍.. The paneer fingers were below average though🙄. Then came the wontons and the chilly garlic potato! The wontons were yummy. Crispy with a decent filling of vegetables! Chilly garlic potato!! My my!!😌😌. What can I say! We ended up ordering another plate of it!! Slurp!😋😘😘😘 Veg Manchurian balls were equally yummy too. The paneer tikka was however not upto the mark.
Main course: We ordered schezwan rice, schezwan noodles, Thai fried noodles, fried rice, a bread basket and a thali.. We ordered aloo Gobi masala and paneer tikka masala for sides.. 🙂 The schezwan fried rice and noodles were good. There was not much difference between the Thai fried noodles and schezwan noodles! 🙄 Except for the occasional pieces of baby corn and a slight hint of soy sauce!
The paneer tikka masala was yummilicious! We took a peak into the thali ordered by one of our friends. We were floored by the podi n ghee and had to order 2 bowls of plain steamed rice just for d podi and ghee!! Heavenly!!😌😌..
Desserts : Our dessert order was predominantly sizzling brownie and hot fudge sundae! I dreamt of ice creams and a mug of hot chocolate fudge along with it💭💭! A plate of 3 scoops of chocolate vanilla n butterscotch ice cream arrives with sprinkled nuts and barely any chocolate sauce!!(Puff goes my dream😑😑🙄) Disappointing!😥 Sizzling brownie was the usual! I personally did not like it owing to the burnt taste!😑. The iced lemon tea was deliciously sweet. A little too much honey may be! But I loved it😘!
Overall a wonderful meal. A little high on the pricing. But we were content except for a few glitches.

We have gone there at least three times. One of the finest, pocket friendly veg restaurants offering international - multi cuisine. Ambience and cleanliness satisfactory. Must try atleast once.
Service may be done little faster.
I have visited this place thrice till now (including today) and had their food home delivered twice till now. To describe it in one sentence, for all those who relish good vegetarian flavoured food that always reminds them of homemade food, then add it to your "must visit" list. Nivedhanam serves one of the best south indian thalis which doesn't fail to leave a smile on my face everytime I have it. Their soups are quite heavenly too. I have so far tried the following starters : mushroom lollipop, paneer tikka, baby corn hunan style, and spring rolls. They are all really good. In the main course, the fried rice, peas pulao, veg balls in hot manchurian sauce were top notch and packed with flavours. Surprisingly enough, the fried rice wasn't doused in ajinimoto. There wasn't even a hint of the condiment and that's what made it beautiful, I guess.
The thai tofu curry with steamed rice was the only bad experience that I have had with their food. The veggies in it were under cooked and the curry tasted like a failed version of the Indian vegetable kurma that we all usually make. Their north Indian thali is definitely a treat for spice lovers. Carrot halwa is almost to die for, if you ignore the slightly high sugar content in it (am sure sweet lovers wouldn't mind this). Gulab Jamun wasn't so bad either.
Overall rating :
Ambience - 3.5
Food - 3
Service - 3
To sum it up, one can probably catch up with his or her family for quality time and for comfort food at this restaurant.
If u r a vegie n wanted to go for a reasonable price restaurant with good taste. Then Nivedhanam is the best choice to go. Being its karthigai deepam day we decided to go for pure veg so walkd into this restaurant. Lets start...with soup... I was very fond of thr Drumstick soup which used to b spicy so ordrd but this time it wasnt good. Tomato soup was avg but Sweetcorn soup was very good. Then ordrd starters like paneer tikka which was yummy , masalapapad was good but qty very less, veg momos very tasty n served very hot. Then to the main course we ordrd butter naan-very soft n mild crispy, panner butter masala was avg, Panneeer Tikka masala was very tasty n spicy, then our frnd ordered Tokyo noodles which was quite different from normal noodles. It was hvng a flat texture mixed with lots of vegtables n sauces, its spicy but really mouth watering dish must try. then finally for our sweet toot
hs we ordrd carrot halwa with ice cream, quantity was quite more. Halwa was hot with melting icecreams . overall experience Good treat to our taste buds. Kids can enjoy a lil time in cubic play zone.

Food is nice and the service is fast, food reasonably priced. Location of the restaurant is obscure. Interior is dated seems management is in a mood to not bother about it.
I'm really confused why this much negative reviews. It's not easy to find a good veg restaurant in Chennai, especially South Indian vegetarian food are not easy to cook. There're so many things, like some food must be served hot, some must be cold, the bandwidth of tastes also very large. I never had a good dosa in Chennai yet. But, this restaurant's veg food is a delight!!!!!
We had steam rice and vellai poondu kuzhambhu (Garlic gravy) and Thai curry with rice. Both are real treat. How people are trying those fried rice in such a speciality restaurant (and write bad reviews) will explain how mediocre our society is!!
Nice to visit during weekends, good service and kind staff. The place is well decorated . The taste of food is average but there are a variety of dishes. The food is quite expensive!!
Sooper hangout place for the veggie lovers :) Very kind staff. The interior is a bit over done with a lot of intricate confusing designs. The food is very delicious. My favorite is Thai curry and Tofu Phuket style. The freshness of the food proves it is cooked after our order. My father and I often go here to relish our taste buds. He loves the thali and roti.
Overall a very casual and yummie dining :)
If you like South Indian or North Indian Thali and want the BEST vegetarian food in Chennai, This is a MUST GO Place.
Sometime back, i had a sumptuous lunch here, every item including the butter chilli was yummy and delicious. Sambar with drumstick and mangoes, tomato rasam, curd, kootu, poriyal.. everything were tasty.
I wasn't very hungry. Just telling you this because, when you are hungry, every damn thing tastes delicious. Was suprised why this is rated as 2.9, this should be an above 4* rated place for sure.
And don't forget, you go to this place and order chinese items, not correct. Go for south indian dishes and you will get the best of it.
I'm very satisfied with food taste ambience. We ordered mushroom lollipop alu goby masala thai fried rice, spl fried rice, paratha and stuffed kulla, bindhi dyo .Service we got is awesome service in the beginning and then went bad in the end. We asked for a lime juice and milk shake they took long time to bring that and brought it without a straw, they took 5mins to bring straw. We
had to wait 15mins to get bill which is really bad.
Nice lunch, had Nivedhanam all meals for lunch. Food and service pretty good. Ambiance is ok . Good replacement for regular bhavans veg chains..
Simple and decent ambience. Quite a quick service. Palak paneer was jus outstanding. Also we order assorted bread basket which was also a good try. Over all had a good dinner.
Satisfactory experience at Nivedhanam on my second visit. My first visit was during the 1st week when this restaurant was opened. Must confess, they have come a long way. From the crowd, I could sense that this restaurant has caught the attention of the 'tambrahm' crowd in and around Mylapore which is a victory by itself. On the food side, there was a decent spread on soups and starter was served hot and tasted good. A special mention about the north Indian side dishes. After a string of disappointments at various restaurants in Chennai, I can safely say this place serves manageable north Indian food. The ambience is OK and can do with a bit more of a look after. I loved their choco sizzler which is something which you must surely not miss. Overall, I am going with a 3.5 rating indicating that you can step in to this place and you may not regret for sure.
Good Ambiance. Serving is also good . Afternoon meals is good. Price range is acceptable considering the ambiance . But my overall is good.
Great service, excellent ambiance and yummmmmyyyyy food! Best Place to Dine out for Veggiees!Visit at least once!
Best vegetarian cuisine .. With a lot of varieties . Very good ambience
Should mention this the food in this hotel is almost the same like mom's preparation so nice and tasty!
The major disadvantage is that they are not able to tackle a large number of crowd and service is really poor!!
Waiting for more than 45 mins and no place to sit also in the mean time happy atleast they put the Ind vs Aus match which made the turning! :)
One day to cherish with friends was good enough after a long time!!
Nice food ! Superb service ! hygienically maintained !
A quick dine-out decision led us to Nivedhanam last night. Selecting a table in the inner section of the restaurant we settled down and found that the restaurant was half full. Looking at the coffee making counter (it looked like that) my better half commented that it gives a 90's feel and that was enhanced by the old match running in the tv.
The opposite side looks modern enough to complement that feel.
We decided to order Veg momos - to see how they were. In fact, it was our first trial at a momo - and I guess we should have done it in a Chinese restaurant than here. They were served in a closed basket on a plantain leaf. I assumed they should be hot - but they were no where close to hot and there were not much veggies in it. Thumbs down for that. The sides for this were a tomato-garlic sauce and another preparation with chopped coriander leaves, tomatoes, onions. This was good and helped a lot in gobbling the momos.
As for the main dish - we settled for Roti, Naan and Veg stuffed kulcha as we were in no mood for any rice preparation. The side dish opted was Kadai Veg - since they had mentioned it would be spicy. We also ordered a couple of butter naans and Channa masala for parcel.
One point that came to our notice was that - there was a slight co-ordination issue due to which the items to be served at a different table kept coming to our table and we had to tell them we have not ordered it.
There is a play area for kids - and must say that it would be a plus point for a weekend hangout for families.
The breads and side dish came in after a couple of minutes. The veg kadai was a very big thumbs down. The breads were awesome - especially the veg stuffed kulcha.
As I was seriously unhappy about the side dish - I opted for a fruit salad without ice cream. There were black grapes, pieces of apple, papaya and pineapple. The pineapple was extremely sour though!
The parcels came in time. The channa masala turned out to be very good indeed and so were the butter naans.
Overall a good place to eat - provided the choice of food is restricted to well tested ones!
One of the best Veg restaurants in and around Mylapore I would say. For once, there is a mix of Thai, Chinese, Continental and Indian cuisines in a single place in the neighborhood though the verities are limited. Giving credit where it is due, the taste was brilliant and the ambience was superb. Worth the money
Keep it up guys :p. develope the entrance pls.thanks for mehandi but both hand not necessary cuz more people waitin soo. Think about it. Thank u.i lov dis place.
