Been eating since their inception and have always been searching for the juiciest burgers in the city. After a highly disappointing stint with other burger joints I will agree in totality that the BEST BURGERS IN TOWN belong to these guys. It’ll take a long time to surpass their juiciest burgers by any other burger joints without any conviction.

The interior is pretty good.The Fries are a must try,filling and worth the price.If one person ate it,it could be there meal.They also have cheese fries,fries with sausage and fries with grill chicken.All are tasty.If you ask me to recommend a burger i would say its the Area69 burger no doubt.The chicken Chipotle burger was a little bland.The pizza's are tasty but are quite small(9 inches)for the price.The starters like chicken wings are not filling.

Double roti was on my "to be visited" list for quite some time and finally, today I had their kickass area 69 burger which was lipsmacking good. Bacons and the fried egg that were along with the patty was an extra treat ! I also had my "love jar" i.e. their chocolate fudge which undoubtedly was delicious.

Chilli cheese toast and fries were as usual. Kids loved it. Vegans liked the Goodfella pizza but they didn't sense the peri peri effect. So, it was ok. And the same goes for Godfather too. I was expecting a Thunderbolt pizza but it was again an ok pizza but loved the meat in the pizza.
Oreo milk shake was heavily and heavenly loaded with chocolate and oreos in a beautiful pot shaped container. My friend liked the Lime mint cooler. I ordered for bottomless come zero towards the end so was able to drink 2 cans. So, order it upfront if you are a coke addict.
Over all experience - above average and shall try Bangalore one soon.

It took me by surprise, I never through double roti had such a good pizza. I usually know the best pizza places this side of the town. It made me happy.

Located at around 10 km from shollingunalr, double roti is definitely one of the best cafes in Chennai. We went at around 6:30 pm and it was completely empty at that time. We ordered 2 pizza (panner and bbq chicken) with Zomato gold and we were not at all disappointed. The base/ crust was thin.
Paneer pizza was just full of paneer toppings but the chicken one did not had that much chicken on it.Anyways, the taste was fantastic,with both having that smoky barbeque flavour and smell. The quantity of cheese can be increased. Worth the money only if you have Gold.

Totally value for money. On a typical match day..when we decided to have some good pizzas ..we chose this place.. Ambience was good.
Starters we chose non veg platter - combination of three non veg starters - thandori chicken fries , Peri Peri wings and BBQ chicken .
Thandori chicken fries was too good..the sauce was perfect . Peri Peri wings was spicy .I felt sauce was quite dominating so we couldn't have it more than two pieces .BBQ chicken was ok.. flavours was quite missing .

This time I really wanted to so order these two from Double Roti they wer just so perfect and made my birthday just awesome. For sure I will try more dishes from here😊. My points to them are 4.5 and the reason .5 is reduced just keeping the price of few items are bit too high... Rest it's too good.

Located off ECR, the only bad thing to say about this place might be that the available space might feel a bit less. Could get crowded easily.
Coming to the food,
1. Southern Spice Burger. It felt different. It felt as if all the other burgers you had eaten along your miserable life, was just, miserable. That's it. It was that good. Heavy, droolwrothy, one whole meal packed into a burger.
2. Coming to the pizza that we had, have to say, we were generously rewarded with LOTS OF CHICKEN IN IT. other than that, it was pretty good. But doesn't beat their burgers though.
Fish and chips is all time favourite. Pleasent ambience with yummy delicious food. Cheese fries are always loaded with gooey mozzarella. Their service will make you feel like family.

After an awesome overnight in one of the farmhouses we had gone here for breakfast....the spread is quite good keeping in mind continental as well as Indian dishes...there almost 4-5 types of eggs available...pan cakes...paratha... cornflakes... flavoured yoghurt....cold coffee...smoothie... fruits etc etc...

I finally visited this place after hearing lot of good reviews from friends and yes, it was worth it. Tried the Chipotle chicken burger and the Southern spice burger- both of them tasted amazing. The fillings of both the burgers were unique and spot on. The chicken patties were tender and cooked through well. They also have a selection of wraps, pizzas and sandwiches.
However, I didn't find the drinks to be that worthy of their prices.

I have probably ordered food from Double Roti over 25 times. Twenty out of that twenty five times, I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Burger with Beef Chilli as an addon on the burger. Yes, it will be a bit expensive but this is one of the best burgers you will ever have. Trust me when i say this, you will be dreaming of this burger at night. The other dish I would recommend is the Say Cheese hot dog. I prefer mine with beef chilli addon. You can also order an extra sausage and extra cheese with this hot dog, although I wouldn't recommend these addons.

The first thing you notice is a very good ambience with traditional dining and bar chairs. They were playing MLTR and it went well with the ambience. Service was also good. They serve drinking water in plastic bottles. Can be replaced with glass or steel ones. The plastic ones didn’t go well with the ambience. Food was great. The quantity of fries is enough to feed 2 people. Peri Peri chicken was juicy and comes with honey mustard sauce as side which is good. Veg Mexican wave burger and peanut butter shake were the pick amongst all dishes. It is indeed one of the best fast food outlets in around here.

I've been to Double Roti a few times in the past year. What makes me go back? The consistency.
Handsdown, they serve the juiciest burgers in town. The paaty is moist and full of flavour. The caramalised onions with the dash of BBQ sauce adds to the flavour profile. The bun is soft.
The meat served, be it chicken, beef, or bacon is always moist, no matter the form they are served in.
Their Nachos and the Fries topped with cheese, bacon and BBQ sauce deserve a mention!!!

I tried this 'cheese fries' here which was served direct from oven in an interesting aluminum pan which kept the fries crisp and hot even after an hour..a good amount of quantity for just 150 bucks. The drink 'himalayan herb' added up a spice, really loved it! The customer service is awesome too. One Suggestion for the cheese fries, a pinch of rosemary herb seasoning instead of usual oregano would add a variety.
Adding to this review on my next visit.. as per my previous suggestion they served cheesy fries garnished with rosemary instead of the usual oregano.. and that was so amazing! Restaurants serving their dishes with customer preferences is a really healthy thing. And one suggestion to folks who are ordering cheese fries for delivery.. please prefer dine in instead.. because by the time the fries reach your place it becomes soggy and loses it's taste and feel. In some case it may even become a bad review for the restaurant. So dine it to enjoy cheese fries.🙂

This was my first visit to this place. I wasn't very sure going in since I have heard mixed reviews from other people but boy did I have a good time.
Food:
The food is slightly on the expensive side of things but in my opinion this is justified really well. Let me tell you why.
We ordered Popeye, Illegal burger, Southern spice, Chicken tikka pizza,Tandoori chicken fries and Fish and chips.
All the items were amazing with regards to taste and presentation. 4.5/5 for taste.
Portion sizes were large and totally justify the cost. I believe it's worth spending that little extra bit to get larger portions that taste this good. 5/5 for portion sizes.
Fish and chips came in a nice stainless steel bucket which was unique. All the other items were served in pans. Double roti has nailed food presentation. 5/5 for that.
We also ordered a mango shake which came in a beaker 😂 and lassi that was served in a traditional "sombu." Overall the food was really good. One small nitpick is that the mango shake could have been a bit more watered down as it was too rich to drink.
Overall 4.5/5 for food.

The look and feel of the place was rustic and cozy. It had a nice bar table in the middle and cozy sofas all along the walls. 5/5 for ambiance.
Service:
I have a few nit-picks with regards to the service. Everytime we needed something right from taking the order to asking for water we had to call the waiters over. They seemed to avoid catching anyone's eyes. Given that the place wasn't too full. It became annoying at a point because when an order was delayed they repeatedly avoided looked at me trying to call them over to ask what was up.
It would have much easier to simply come over and say that the order was delayed and they would bring it as soon as possible. We would have waited. I was annoyed since they kept openly avoiding looking at me or my attempts to call them over.
Overall it wasn't too bad and didn't affect the overall experience too much.

It was my first outing using Zomato Gold.
To start off with the ambiance ,it's a simple place with good AC especially this summer. They have a good range of snacks and finger food. Their quantity is easily their USP.
Orders : Peri Paneer Pizza, it was completely indianized with a nice tangy sauce and chunks of marinated panneer. The base was thin and was loaded with correct amount of cheese.
Himalayan Maggi - it was soggy to my liking and was served hot. semi cooked veggies added the perfect crunch and Cole was given as complimentary to wash off the palate.
Nimbu Pani - Good in quantity and taste was pretty good.
Price - As mentioned since I used Zomato Gold , the second expensive dish ie Maggi in my case was give for free. Paid- 500 INR.

There are many burger destinations in Chennai but "double roti" stands a way ahead of other destinations. They have a decent ambiance and friendly staffs that provides restaurant a very good hospitality. Went as a group of 6 and initially we started our dine with a starter and a salade. Salsa fries were exceptional. Salade was in a typical Italian style. It was equally good to salsa fries. Next, we ordered 2 pizzas, 3 burgers and a sandwich. "Popeye burger" was the best among the rest. Cheese and spinach was loaded together and stuffed. Pizzas and sandwiches were also good.

We had gone here for dinner.. this restaurant is decent with good interiors creating a good ambiance. We tried lasagna and bacon burger.. both of which were tasting really good. The mustard sauce in the burger was a thing to note and had the right taste.. lasagna was also good . But the quantity doesn’t justify the price. It’s a little bit pricy.

Items ordered : Peri Peri spiced grilled chicken tenders, veg Mexican wave burger, masala lemonade, fries and salted caramel and peanut butter shake.
The quantity of fries is enough to feed 2 people. Peri Peri chicken was juicy and comes with honey mustard sauce as side which is good. Veg Mexican wave burger and peanut butter shake were the pick amongst all dishes. It is indeed one of the best fast food outlets in around here.
Amazing place in Chennai for a diner. Food, atmosphere and service were great. I ended up going to Double Roti 4 times during my 4 days stay in Chennai and hope that speaks volumes. Their shakes are nice and thick. The Hot Dog and Noodle selections amazing. They have some nice dessert options as well. I wouldn't be surprised if they would expand to other areas within Chennai and other cities in the near future. Good luck to the team.
Cool vibe, great spot for burgers! We had the shroom veg burger - so juicy and yummy. And gotta say, their hot chocolate is my fave!
I visited this cafe with my friend. The ambiance was good, the taste is also good but the price is little over. I visited this cafe based on some recomendation and their old menu but now they have new menu with new variety. The quantity is more than sufficient. We had a chicken burger, chicken sandwich, peri peri fries, killer strawberry & banana shake and cold coffee. Their beverages was too good. The waiter was good but some giving that annoying look sometimes 😅. The price could be better for burgers and sandwiches. They have good variety of foods.The parking could be better.
I have been to this place multiple times. Simply marvelous taste with presentable dishes along with very friendly and smily faced staffs. It is definitely a must visit restaurant in ECR.
Every dishes will turn out to be must try however some of the fav dishes are, lasagna, fried mushroom filo pockets, sun dried tomato with mozzarella agnolotti with pesto, eggplant parmesan with spaghetti arabiatta, moraccan grilled chicken etc etc....
During my recent visit noticed that the quantity is gone less a bit comparing to my last time visit.
Loved it! Wide variety of food and a great dessert section! Would definitely go back for more.
The Arancini rice balls were yumm!!
The Middle East burger was disappointing as the patty (falafel) was over cooked. Although, the flavours were intact.
The Chipotle chicken rice bowl was really good as well.
The NY lemon cheesecake was yum but we had to had to ask them to heat is slightly to bring it to room temperature as it was too chill and hence dense.
I’ve heard great stuff about the tacos here.. will try that sometime.
Good ambiance, prompt service and nice taste. You'll get Burgers, Pizza, Sandwiches, Pastas, milk shakes and cold beverages here. Price is on the higher side for the quantity they serve. But their taste is good. Nutty affair had strong peanut flavour, think twice before ordering.
An amazing place by the road side. Serves amazing burger and sandwiches. The ambience is nice and was not much crowded when i visited. The prices are a bit high but totally worth it. Even ordered dessert which tasted delicious. Even though the burger looks quite small, the double patty is quite filling.
Bottomless coke, two words when put together, form the greatest set of alphabets to ever grace a menu card. Burgers are perfectly sloppy. Service is really good, they're very welcoming, feels like home, except with great starters and food! Loved the experience
A nice place to hangout to have burgers & pizzas. If you are a lover of beef burger, you must try it over here. They have a wide variety of juice & shakes options too. They has nice names for their menu options. Ambience is cool and their service is good too. I frequent this place

Tried their seoul burger which was New On Menu and it was as usual super yummy…
Had to appreciate the new waiter Bharathi Kannan for his excellent service and nice attitude.
I am a great fan of this place's fries. Their loaded fries will bes o rich and loaded with gooda mount of sauce and meat. And their must try dishes too.
At tge same time i became their new fan for their illegal beef birger which will really satisfy your beef cravings. The burger is medium sized and juicy as well.The beef was tender and nicely cooked.
Apart from their fries, burgers bla bla I am their biggest fan of their desserts too. Wow I guess those who had mississipie mud pie or otger desserts can feel me what I am trying to tell. This place is good for its desserts too.

Awesome food. Tried the beef steak and Chicken lasagna both were great. A tad expensive but the quantity is good.
Wanna spend some quality time with your family or friends, date? Then this is perfect place to hangout. Ambience is decent. Burgers are topnotch. A bit expensive as per the quantity. Overall you will like it.
Great choice of food and great service. Slightly on the higher side when it comes to pricing but the food and service is worth it.
Temperature check, proper sanitization - as soon as you enter 👍 Service was pretty Quick, The Brownie Milkshake was truly to drool for and the Burger kept us full in just a few bites. Nice place to hang out after good shopping at Pantaloons and Max (located right above the restaurant)
