Went to this place twice. The desserts are awesome and being a person with sweet tooth i would like to go to this place again. The only problem that I face both of the time is slow service. Sometimes they keep you waiting for hours.
The Chocolate Room is a cosy place perfect for chocolate lovers. The variety of menu is pretty good, starting from appetizers to dessert, they have it all. Cosy and well designed interiors give it quite the edge for an ambience.
What we had:
1) Al-funghi: Sliced mushrooms and sour cream cheesy sauce. It was quite delicious and filling. The presentation of this was quite good.
2) Death By chocolate: Waffle with chocolate icecream and cherry-topped cream. I guess this is my favourite. It tasted really good.
3) Hazelnut Granite: Hazelnut milkshake which tasted like a regular chocolate milkshake. Not satisfactory.
Overall we had a pretty good experience at Chocolate Room. Would give an overall 4/5 for the experience.
This place is all about #Chocolate and any chocolate lover would enjoy this place. The only disappointing factor was that certain items weren't available which led to limited choices. Otherwise, it's a reasonable hangout with friends.
The food was amazing. Every dish I ordered was so good. The ambience was nice too. If you like chocolate, then it's a must visit for you. I have tried Brownie in various places. Including Brownie heaven, but the Brownie here is so good than anywhere else. I liked it a lot. Must visit place

I tried the choco bomb which is brownie hidden inside a chocolate shell . They provide you hot chocolate syrup and once you pour it over the shell it breaks open into the brownie ( Check them on my insta page )
Also had cookies and cream milkshake which was creamy and tasty 😋
Also needed some snack to reduce my chocolaty taste and The French fries were really thin and crispy .
Loved the ambience and also the service . The pricing is not very pocket friendly but cheaper than some similar cafes serving some tasteless desserts.
They also have birthday cakes . Would definitely visit again :)

We walked into the restaurant at 12:00 am and the staff were courteous even then. Ordered death by chocolate pancake , cheesy fries and tandoori chicken fries.. all the three dishes tasted good.. Fries had an overpowering tangy taste which can be reduced, otherwise it was good.. the place was well lit up and had a cute ambience.
Today I have visited Anna Nagar branch (Chocolate room) and had "Chocolate brownie Bomb",which is very tasty and mouth watering.
The ambience is too good and well maintained. I will recommend this place to my friends.

A place that serves a lot of chocolate! It has all kinds of portions and it’s a challenge to finish a dish by yourself. The dishes are very reasonably priced. The preparation are not absolute star quality that you can eat endlessly but they are good for youngsters. The deco of the place is also hep. I guess I’ve crossed that age where I once was hanging out with friends- where conversations matter more than taste. Chocolate room is worth a visit over and again just to check out the different combinations of desserts! Although I see that a lot of cream is used to camouflage the dishes. But it’s ok! The youth crowd will still love it. A must recommendation from me!
They have really comfortable seats with a good overall ambience. The milk chocolate fondue was marvelous. The avalanche brownie recipe was good too. The price is worth it a must vist place if u have a sweet tooth.

This happened to be one of those beautiful trips where you have the least expectation and then only to be taken back by surprise.
I was with my family out on a weekend to have some yummy dinner @Foodgrid and after we were done with our dinner I just surprised by entire family by taking them out for dessert. I looked up on Zomato gold for a restaurant close by and this popped out. So once I decided on the spot we headed straight there.
First off the ambience. It’s beautifully done with a huge clock ⏰ that I personally liked. We ordered a sundae and a lava cake bomb. To our surprise the quantity served were great and we ended up having spoon wars to finish the desserts. Fantastic experience and we were super high in terms of the chocolatiness 😄 Loved every second of the experience. Will be back hungry for more ... Definitely recommended 👍🏻

Yes!!! It was indeed a great experience going to this pleasant place. The ambiance was too pleasant and quite a place for dining. We ordered a ton of hot chocolates and a few other dishes. The hot chocolate wasn't as expected but tasted good. Not bad but doesn't have the consistency of a real hot chocolate. The mouse cake was damn good and was so mesmerizing to see itself. Every dish looked pleasant to see. Overall the experience was good enough. The price was each dish was a bit above it should be. Hope they will change up thier price or improve thier quality of food 🤟🏻🔥
Visited this place before a quarter to twelve in the night and the management were kind to accept our order. The interiors was nicely decorated since valentines day was nearing. The ambience was impressive. We had ordered death by chocolate pancake and it was indeed mouth-watering! ZUHA

I am from Bangalore, me and my cousins swung by this place named chocolate room as we specifically wanted desserts and also this place was one of the few places that runs till 1AM making this an ideal choice. loved the chocolate fondue and Mt brownie got the latter for free by zomato gold. Had to parcel the irresistible fondue as it was much for our tummies. Finally i had the remaining at my home back in Bangalore.
But one thing "the service can be improved" as i had to wait for a while to get my order in that midnight.
Staff is very courteous and kind. The chocolate bomb was amazing I've never seen anything like that.....was so tasty.....more than enough for 2 people. Chocolate fanatics MUST come!

The staff were friendly, courteous and engaging. My friend and I tried their chocolate brownie bomb and their Bananarama waffle. Both are lip-smackingly delightful. It was a pleasure waiting for the chocolate brownie bomb to open up to reveal the brownie hidden inside. The brownie and the chocolate exterior make the perfect combination. The Bananarama waffle is great in its own way. It has the perfect balance of banana, waffle, cream and ice cream. The Chocolate Room is a must visit place.

Anna Nagar is flooded with so many new bistros and cafes, this is one cute little place with a tastefully done decor which will make you fall in love with it instantly.
We ordered one of their chocolate pizzas(Rocky Road) to share. Soft chocolate pizza base topped with warm chocolate sauce, chopped roasted nuts, grated white and dark chocolate sprinkled on the top and one marshmallow per slice. Looked jaw dropping ♥️ after clicking enough pictures for the blog and IG😄 , we dug in. Tasted amazing .saved one slice to eat after the mains , it was super filling as well. worth the 247rs you pay for it.
We ordered one spinach and corn panino (panini sandwich) for the photographer who is vegetarian for the day 🙄 They were okay, would’ve liked a little more of the spinach and corn fillings inbetween my bread. They were served with fries.Will try their non veg paninos next time.
Creamy Chicken Pasta - packed half and had half at the cafe. mushrooms , bell pepper, roasted chicken and pasta tossed in a creamy cheesy sauce .The sauce was so creamy and delicious that I literally scrapped it with my finger and licked it clean till the last morsel 😋 one of the best in town.
We finished eating around , spent some time talking and left way after 1 o’clock. I guess this is one of the few places in chennai which is open by this time. Service was super prompt and well worth the total bill value of 847.

Loved the food, best place for a sweet tooth. Loved the Cuddle cup, I basically ordered the hot chocolate just for the cuddle cup. The plain cheese nachos can be a little bland for a person who likes a little spice. Looking forward to coming again to try the rest of the menu

This place is a paradise for chocolate lovers. Parking would never be an issue here. The service is pretty good but the order processing time is very slow, so it's better if you have some patience.
The Chocolate Room has everything you want in the form of chocolate. They also sell chocolate gift boxes and monuments, spoons made of chocolate. The menu has quite a lot to offer to it's customers.
The 'Chicken Tikka Pizza' was loaded with cheese and the chicken was a bit chewy. The Nachos were tangy and tasted really good. The 'Chocolate Lava Ball' is a must try here. The hot chocolate sauce poured over the ball and the eruption is a delightful scene. 'Death By Chocolate' Pancake is my personal favourite and it's the first thing I generally order whenever am here. The pancakes are just soft and the chocolate flavour makes it all more interesting. The 'Brownie Sizzler' was an utter disappointment. The sprinklers on top of the icecream ruins the classic look. The brownie was overburnt and it was just not the right way to end a meal.
Visited the place during the weekend and it was a mind blowing experience.. The shop was recently opened and the staff are really patient and cheerful...Great taste... Don't forget to try their pannir pizza .

They are well known for their soothing ambience and mouth watering desserts. Their sundaes and pancakes are to die for 🖤 some of our personal favorite was nachos supreme, cheese fondue, death by chocolate pancake and chocate lava lava sundae.

This is a perfect place for chocolate lovers! We went as a family on a Sunday afternoon. Ambience was cosy and perfect for us and coming to the food I would give a rating of 5 especially for the the chocolate bomb. It's a great place for great hangout and having various chocolate delicacies!!!

Chocolate rocher sundae - three scoops of chocolate flavoured icecream with some roasted nuts at top of the it and some broken rocher here and there.
Ferrero rocher shake - chocolate milkshake with icecream and rocher.
Chocolate indulgence freakshake - chocolate blend with whipped cream, chocolate sticks and gems on it.
All the three desserts were equally good.
Also had brownie which was home made by a woman and supplied to chocolate room and many other cafes. It was warm and yummy.
All together it priced ₹1300 and it's totally worth the money.
One of the best places to go for the chocolate cakes like truffles, excess, chocolate chips etc. Here the ambience is great and the service was good too. Their specialty is the chocolate bomb..! They also serve cold coffee, tea, waffles, panini, pancakes, pizza, pastries, chocolates, smoothies and bites like French fries, potato wedges and garlic bread. We were regulars at the chocolate room outlets in Hyderabad and now we found it here at Chennai. Happy we are..!
