Simply wowww Generally mutton biriyani will be wowwww here I had many times But the quantity will be less while comparing with other places Rest all is fine you also get hot water if you request it .best branch with huge car parking and bike parking facilities.

Overall good and neat ambience. Food was awesome. Had mushroom milagu soup, chicken briyani, chicken tikka. Everything was very tasty. !! Loved it

I had a great reception from arun pandian and the food was great specially the mutton chops and mutton pepper soup

Good place to eat at Anna Nagar chennai. But one thing need to clarify is ? I have check with many chef they say making pure vegetarian food is expensive than non veg food. Then why the non veg food priced high. Dear Thalappakatti you got a tradition of cooking for years. why don't you offer us a reasonable rate. You are serving our own people of the nation. We are proud you got a traditional way of cooking biryani and have some formula in preparing masala. But slightly bringing down the price will reach all general public. Because today so many biryani has come up and offer at 50% cost through food delivery portal like zomato, UBER eats and swiggi. You also use same ingredients. Any possibility make it affordable for everyone. Today 2nd Jan 2024 visited this restaurant. Utter waste of money. Hot & Sour chicken soup was very salty, complained got replaced. Again tandoori was full salt complaint. The waiter says, garam masal powder already got salt by mistake the cook may have added salt. What to do. Last we asked for lemon juice in warm water. He got juice in hot water. Tricky because they used an old cut lemon that had a stale taste. Very bad experience today.

One more time into the restaurant but at a different place. The ambience and price are all the same so nothing to comment on that. This time it was, Chicken Tikka – Boneless, hot and tender; was cooked well, no signs of burnt taste though the colour showed otherwise; mint dip could have been thicker Non-veg meals – Typical TN meals with 4 gravies (Chicken, Mutton, Fish and Rasam); it also had Omelette, Appalam, Chappathi and Curd. The rice quantity will do justice to the plate since the gravies had unlimited refills; the chicken gravy was thick and peppery while mutton was soupy; both Chappathi and Omelette were hot, went well with the gravy; personally didn’t like the fish for some reasons but apart from that, it was a proper meal Madurai Jigarthanda – Thick semolina filled drink with ice-cream and Badam pisins (Almond gum); had less nannari flavours but lots of soft pisins, was heavy yet sweet and slurpy Arabian Falooda – Three scoops of different ice-creams topped with Oreo chunks, wafers and Choco syrup; perfect dessert to end with since it had freshness all along; wasn’t brain-freezing but the wafers could’ve been better; the cut fruits were buried underneath so a scoop of the fruit and ice-cream would be the ultimate pleasure of all time Not much of parking space (off-street parking available) around but the service was good with almost no waiting time.
