Good place to satiate your hunger on the way to the Hill Temple of Thiruthani. This is in Thiruvallur, the only good hotel after Chennai. If you miss this then you may have to wait hours together to find another hotel. The place was heavily crowded for the obvious reasons. Food was tasty and authentic.

Akshaya Bhavan serves South Indian vegetarian food. They have both non AC as well AC dining. The toilets are decent here and there is ample parking out front. We had the meals here - it was okay. Quite decent. They also have a juice stall as well as sweets at the entrance.

Situated very near to the main road in Tiruvallur. Excellent and yummy vegetarian dishes. Was there in the evening for quick bite. The service is also fast and very good. The hotel is very neat and tidy. There are restroom facilities also in the hotel. There is ample parking space for four wheelers and two wheelers. A total culinary experience for the family
