One of the best biriyanis ever. This is more than a 50 year old restaurant. I've seen this since i was a kid. Love the biriyanis (Especially Chicken Mogul and Mutton) with the gravy they give along with Chilli chicken and Garlic Fish. Fantastic taste. Their parotta's are awesome too. Love all their menus! To end things i have a fabulous special tea. Please note how much ever you eat, your tummy is never heavy and that's a testament to their quality
Been visiting this place since I was a kid to have their famous Madras egg parotta and Ceylon egg parotta. I’m glad the taste hasn’t changed. The quantity they serve is also good. From the outside, it might look like a tiny fast food. But when you walk in you’ll realize the dimly lit narrow halls crammed with as many tables as you can possibly imagine. And the surprising thing is that it’s always full. People keep coming back for its distinct taste and quality. And not to forget it’s prompt service. However, parking might be an issue.

food was soooooooooo good
After a search of a non veg restaurant in the Purasawalkam high road, we found this hotel.
Entered this restaurant for 2 reasons..
1. I decided to eat non vegetarian after a month of fasting
2.there was no other non veg hotel we could find.
Parking: There s no parking. But the security guy helped to park our 2 wheeler.
Ambience: ok. Very less congested space!
Food: we ordered nonveg meals, mutton biriyani and prawn masala.
Mutton biriyani- masala was right as I expect. The pieces were well cooked.
Meals-meals was normal but a special mention for the rasam and butter milk which were served in jugs. We emptied the jugs by drinking them.
Prawn masala- Felt like it was cooked in hurry! The prawns and the masala don't bind well.
Service : good
When your in Purasawalkam and craving non-veg, this is a good place to eat at. There is absolutely no parking space, so be sure to park your vehicles under the bridge. The ambience is nothing fancy, they do have an AC area and a non AC area. Gotta try their mutton vathakolumbu with parotta and their yummy mutton biriyani. Their portions are quiet generous too.
Legendary restaurant in purasawallkam ...one of the oldest non veg hotels there recommended to eat at the ac diner than non ac price for two is between rs 400 to 700
